Ororon's stories and the way other characters speak about him always emphasizes how well-behaved, nice, and overall innocent he is. Which makes it 10 times more hilarious and batshit that his one act of proper rebellion isn't just against one of his parent figures, but against the Archon herself, and his choice of method is joining THE ELITE SQUAD OF THE FIRST FATUI HARBINGER. Dude decides to go on an insane side quest in his 20s in the middle of living a very chill life of gardening, looking after aphids, sharing his homegrown produce, and being friends with like a single dude. And then he just goes right back to growing his vegetables after becoming a Hero of the whole nation.

There would never be another night like this. He sensed it then — just like how, when he considered accepting a second drink, he was firmly stopped by The Captain. Though he seemed completely normal after the first cup and potentially could really hold his liquor, yet all the same, some places are best not delved into too deeply. But clearly, Ororon was not exactly the obedient type. Later, he discreetly tracked down the soldier who had handed him that drink and asked him how to brew Fire-Water himself.

The Captain stepping in to decide for Ororon whether or not he should drink even though Ororon is an adult and is also just some Masters of the Night-Wind weirdo Capitano picked up out of the wilderness a few days ago.

The implication that Ororon's very first experience with alcohol was as part of an elite Fatui squad.

Ororon, the sweet, well-behaved, nice kid, deciding to learn how to make moonshine on his own after his very first time trying it. Imagine you're one of Ororon's regulars coming by for some vegetables and alluva sudden the innocent hermit guy puts a bottle of hard alcohol in your hand.

but if y’all are looking me in the eye and telling me that kaeya is unironically a ladies’ man and a player then i’m gonna need you to go back to every single event he’s been in and look at how his shell of facile charm has been ruthlessly and systematically dismantled by the game itself
