Got the courage to tackle Beyond Good and Evil.

For those of you interested in the fountain pen gift from my aunt, my Kaweco has arrived! I told my aunt I didn't want any blue ink because I just don't like blue ink, but she got me a fancy set of two Colorverse Extreme Deep Field and NGC-1850 which are both kind of deep teal with sparkles. The Extreme Deep Field is supposed to have a red shift, which I haven't gotten to work after trying on several kinds of paper, but it is still pretty near.

Anyway, here's my writing case my aunt got me and I've gathered my Pilot Metropolitan, Lamay Safari and my new Kaweco with all my inks and nibs. It's good that I can keep them all in one place.

It all looks very nice sitting on my grandfather's rolltop desk. I think I need some sort of desk mat.

Welcoming my new Traveler’s Notebook (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Finally caved and bought a Traveler’s Notebook in the passport size. ʕʘ‿ʘʔ I’m already obsessed and I’m so excited to see the patina on the leather as it ages. Compared to some of the other brands, Traveler’s Notebook is one of the more affordable options and has some of the best quality paper in my opinion. I’m also looking forward to visiting the flagship store when I visit Tokyo and Kyoto, hopefully this year. (*´ω`*) I really want a brass charm.

My very first project of the year was this handsewn cover for my book journal. I added beads from my boyfriend’s Aunt Barbara in the stitching to match the beaded charm from a necklace my mom made me that’s attached to my Traveler’s Notebook. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

At Yoseka Stationary, I found this cute strawberry scented stamp that’s perfect as a tracker marker.

Something that’s so nostalgic to me growing up in Japan is the random English on Japanese items. I don’t see much of it anymore, but as soon as I saw “ALL THE TRAVELERS NEED IS LOVE” I related so hard and had to buy it right away.

My MARKS 2025 planner fits perfectly along with my Kaweco Sport.

These are all of my favorite things. I’ll use forever and ever to log my favorite books, movies, recipes, friends addresses, everything everything.

I’ll update soon with the notebooks inside.

OHHHHHHH my new phone camera has a macro mode and holy SHIT it's lovely; I can finally take close ups of fancy ink!!!!! it's so nice and crisp and actually focuses on things that are suuuuuper close up OwO

This pen isn't my usual aesthetic at all so I was baffled when I saw one at @babayaga-official's house a couple weeks ago and it awakened a deep and primal Need within me. Days later I remembered it was because I'd spent some formative childhood years obsessed with this:
