Sylvaine is both the name of the project and the artistic identity of Kathrine Shepard, a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist originally born in the USA before moving back to Norway. Since 2013, she has been the sole creative force behind Sylvaine, handling all instruments and vocals, shaping a unique sound that blends post-rock, black metal, and ethereal atmospheres.

Chrom and Katherine's wedding

The royal wedding was a joyfull occasion. Everyone wanted to be a part of the wedding but only a few select people where allowed to join. Such as much of the nobility, the Shepards,  and the sister and mother of the bride. No one was as nervous as the bride. “Come on, Katherine. It’s Chrom and you’s wedding day! You don’t need to be so stressed.”Mia said slightly pushing on her sister’s arm. “Easy for you to say, Mia! You’re not the one marrying royalty!” Katherine spoke nervously Sumia and Anastasia were giving her dress the finishing touches.

“Ok Katherine, time for your make-up.” Sumia said with a smile she left for a moment to get the kit. Anastasia gives a quick hug to her eldest daughter. “Oh one of my babies is finally getting married! I’m so happy!”she cried. “Mother, We love you. Thank you for rasing us..” Katherine said. “I’m back!” Sumia spoke holding the makeup box.  Within a couple of minutes the makeup was done and it was time for them to walk down the aisle.  The first one that walk down the aisle was the Libra, that is the official of the wedding. Then there was Chrom, he was dressed in his wedding suit. Next was Fredrick, He was asked to be the best man. Next, came the groomsmen Stahl, Ricken, and Lon’qu. Next, was the bridesmaids, Mirabelle, Sumia, and Cordelia. Next to last, was the ring bearer and flower girl. Lissa was the flower girl and Donnel was the ring bearer. Now finally Chrom cried when he saw her. Katherine the love of his life was walking down the aisle with her mother and twin sister.  Libra asks the three a question. “Anastasia, Do you support Katherine  in her wedding with Chrom?” He asks. “Her sister and I do.” Anastasia said. Katherine turns to her mother and received a kiss on the head. Katherine walks to Chrom and joins her hands in his. Anastasia and Mia take their position. 

“Ladies, Lords, and Gentlefolk, dearly beloved family, and friends, life brings us many reasons to gather in celebration, but one of the most important is the celebration of love.As we are here to celebrate love, let us take a moment to talk about it. There are many different types of love, such as the love between parents and children, love between friends, and the love we see between the Lady Kathrine and  Lord Chrom. Although love is a natural state of being, lasting love does not happen naturally. For love to grow and deepen between two people, they must open themselves to the vulnerability of being truly known. This is a choice that both people must make willingly, because at any time they might instead withhold that truth, or even refuse the love and care that is offered. Love grows when we choose it.” He said. Then he continues, “When you marry, you make a vow of permanence. Marriage is a symbol of unity and loyalty which will be honored through all times to come, be it times of great harvest and celebration, or times of hardship, when you must stand together to defend your castle walls. There is no such thing as a perfect love. Life may cause you pain, and you may choose words or actions that hurt one another. You may raise your voices, or perhaps throw daggers or hot oil at one another... or perhaps only looks that cut like daggers. But it is within these heated discourses that you have the opportunity to grow stronger as a couple, for what you have is worth fighting for. Each person is unique, bringing unique gifts to a marriage. We take comfort in our companion knowing our strengths and weaknesses, seeing us exactly as we are, for those things we lack are supplemented by the other -- the one who loves us most.” Libra said

“The promises and vows you make on this day will guide you into your common future. My Lord and Lady, are you ready to cross the threshold and join your lives together?” Libra askes the couple.

“Yes, we are.” they said

“Lady Katherine, will you take to be your husband, the  handsome Lord Chrom and pledge to him before all gathered here to be  his love,  his defender in unrest? Will you stand by  him in all things fair and foul? Will you cherish  him for the gift that  he is, forsaking all others, keeping only unto  him, so long as you both shall live?” Libra questions. 

“I shall.” She saids giving a smile to Chrom 

“Will you share your vows?” Libra asks Katherine nods.

“Chrom, You know my falts and know me at my worst; yet you still stay by my side. I will stand by you in my best times and with you during the worst times. I vow to stand by you and listen to you and show you my respect as you do with me. I will love you today, tomorrow, and forever.” Kathrine told Chrom lovingly. “Lord Chrom, will you take to be your wife, the lovely Lady Katherine and pledge to her  before all gathered here to be her love, her  defender in unrest? Will you stand by her  in all things fair and foul? Will you cherish her for the gift that she  is, forsaking all others, keeping only unto her, so long as you both shall live?” He askes Chrom.

 “I shall.” Chrom spoke.

 “Will you share your vows?” Asked Libra Chrom nods.

“I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love. I vow to love you, and no matter what challenges might carry us apart, we will always find a way back to each other.” Chrom said.

“We've now come to the gifting of the rings. As each ring is an unbroken circle, with no end or beginning, always returning to itself, so may you always return to your love. As words are hard to hold onto, let these rings be a physical reminder of those promises spoken aloud, encircling your fingers, settling into your bones, to live in your souls. It's commonly known that the third finger of the left hand holds the blood that holds the heart, and so I ask you to place your rings there.” Libra told them. "Lady Katherine, place your ring on  Lord Chrom’s  finger and repeat after me: Lord Chrom, this ring I give to you as a token of my love and devotion to you. I pledge to you all that I am, and all that I will ever be, as your wife. With this ring, I gladly marry you and join my life to yours. Wear it, think of me, and know that I love you.”

Kathrine gladly repeats it whilst putting it on his finger.

 Then Chrom did it as well.

“Today you have become married. You will never walk the paths of life alone. It is on wedding days that many give to your blessings and words of advice. I will also gift not only this couple standing before us, but for all that has gathered here with a few words of blessings. Delight in the small things that bring you pleasure, such as the smells of baking bread, or the rising of the sun. And do not let the trials of life overwhelm you.Create a home that is warm and welcoming. Learn from failure, and grow with your achievements, be they on the jousting field or wherever life finds you. May life’s challenges be met together with courage and optimism, and may your days be filled with laughter, imagination, trust, friendship, and love.” Libra said with a smile on his face.  “It is now my honor and delight to declare you married. You may now seal your vows with a kiss!” Libra said. 

Chrom and Katherine share a tender, shy kiss the guest clap and cheer.
