Troll-Hunting, Slugslinging, and Beast-Protecting: This next story is a blend with a two timeskips, and one of them is an epilogue. Hannibal decided to not try to find a way to get the summer counsellor position, and just moves forward with his life and try to find other ways to spend in the summer. During a break after finishing an errand for himself, he discover a troll carrying around odd creatures from a conversation of a few black guild members, monster hunters who are taking interest in hunting them down.

Hello, these are four Cappyverse stories I made. It was supposed to be one story showing an interesting take on the Synonymous process, but I wrote three more stories along the way showing the aftermath of the interview. At first, I was shy in posting most of my Cappyverse One-Shots on Tumblr and preferred to share it only on Discord and waits for more chapters of the main storyline to be post on @ej-cappy-universe's tumblr page, but thanked to @aprilbrowines, I decided to post possibly all of them here. I hope you all enjoy them.

🌲 - Do they have a favorite location to hang out in?

The small bookstore Karin (a Revonnahgander) introduced to Hannibal. Hannibal slowly learned to accept the security that it offered thanks to Karin. I vaguely remember that it is located in Undertown, under Bellswood. The bookstore does help Hannibal use three sense organs (vision, touch, and smell) and lower his stress levels and depression as he doesn’t want to be alone and at the same time, doesn’t want to talks to anyone. The books he read provide quality information in knowledge and entertainment. Being around customers or readers in an environment keep him being human. Occasionally he helps out at the bookstore by working at the counter, or pick up new books that are delivered through a truck from the loading dock. However, this is the second place as his safe place. His first safe place is the forest as he feels more attach to the nature surrounding him both as a monster side and the magic side of him. It is ‘given’ to him in the beginning of the age of 8 as a training ground to develop his monster abilities until at 13. So the Wawanakwa Forest and other forests are consider a replacements to the forest Hannibal have forgotten. He is able to hunt to curb his thirst for fighting from his monster instinct (and never forget the lessons he learn from a young age), despite his enjoyment is gone and to quench his thirst for blood and raw meat. The forests does help with his magic and be roots to witchcraft; walking alone to forest bathe himself, collecting honeysuckle to crushed it to brew as tea, collecting forest water to ground himself and give him stability and balance for his magic. He collect herbs such as mugwort, sage, and yarrow for clarity, intuition, dream recall. Collecting roots, flowers, and seeds to help Duchess in making medicinal potions. Creating moon water by bathing the spring water under the moon light on a full moon overnight, or practicing banishment spells on a full moon, rest in the forest during the full moon, or meditate under the moonlight on a full moon (thus developing his ice attribute spells). You could say the bookstore represents his humanity and the forests represent his supernatural side.
