Janaya rolled his eyes. He have been burning the midnight oil for only three days. It wasn’t that a big of a deal.

Ethan is right about him, and Janaya is right about him. Serpent is right about them and himself. They are pushing themselves like this.

They are looking for recruits to be a part of their team, there is no luck. Their summer vacation at Camp Synonymous, is now over, is sure is something. Everyone achieved their goals they made in the summer, others gain a new perspective in life.

They have to choose those who are from Townsville, since the organization, they and Ethan’s other friends are creating, will be this city’s hero group.

“Well one thing for sure, we cannot ask Athena to join us,” said Ethan. “She is now going through a lot after her involvement with The Circle, and having her here will not only be a target, that will make us walking targets as well.”

It doesn’t mean he said this because he distrust her. Well only a little, however he sympathizes for her because she was almost killed by her former teammates and witnessed Niko accept the offer of donating her blood to save her, it show that she deserve to live a second chance. Hopefully The Roundtable is protecting her and her father.

“Affirmative Ethan,” Janaya yawned. “I did have hope for that Kelsey girl who came here for a tour… But thanks to this bad guy wannabe. *Yawn*. Then again, we could have Stella Junior be in it.”

Though he has doubts about Stella Junior due to the an incident at the Library involving the staryummies he and his little sister dealt with. Plus she is… so sensitive. Other than that, she do seem to have much potentials in her that she will be in Camp Synonymous next summer. As for Kelsey, Ethan is confused on who is Kelsey anyway. He never heard of her before. Was she here when he was not at the base because he was busy. Perhaps when Janaya have the chance to sleep to be rejuvenated, he will ask her. Or maybe his sister knows who Kelsey is. Janaya nodding his head and blinks for a quick seconds. Then he slowly closing his eyes and his eyelids are glued shut. He fall asleep. Ethan catch Janaya.

Athena points a scythe made of ice at Sedusa, at her throat, pressing it hard. Sedusa is in cold sweat, is she going to murder her own mother? Her eyes show no light. Sedusa felt her neck cold. She see her neck is in frostbite and ice crystals forming. Her mother shivered in fear. Is this her daughter? Sedusa’s hair is also frozen in ice. Sedusa turn her eyes at Hannibal. He turns her daughter into a monster.

“A-A-Aren’t you *brrr* going to stop her!” Sedusa exclaimed as best she could despite the condition she is in now, glaring at him. “Y-You… You t-t-turns her into a monster!”

“The eyes of her,” Hannibal thought, seeing at her green eyes. “They are stunning at her.”

“I am not the only one responsible,” Hannibal admitted, walking up to Athena and glaring at the deadbeat. “It was also your nephew’s fault for teaching her a dangerous dark magic recklessly,”

The only magic she could thinks of was… Athena pokes her head. “He’s right. Heylin magic really damaged my mind by corruption. Sigh, I wish you quickly stop talking. Oh well,”

“Dante, this is all your fault! If you have not taught her Heylin magic, she wouldn’t be so disobedient,” Sedusa thought. Sedusa’s hairs thaws itself from the ice and lunging at Athena to disarm her scythe. However, Hannibal is now in front of Athena, causing the hair of her to wrapped around him. Hannibal twisting her hairs, tugs, pull, the hairs out of her scalps hard. Sedusa cry in pain, despite her throat is frost bitten increasing the pain, which was soon silence by Hannibal again as he scratch her face, leaving a 3 clawed marks on the right side of her cheek.

“You heard what she said,” Hannibal demanded, still glaring at Sedusa. “You will never controls her ever again!”

Hannibal and Athena’s eyes are glowing and there is a dark aura of aggression.

“Athena sweetie, you can’t do this to yourself,” Sedusa pleaded. “Doing this will take away your hero life and you be all alone.”

Athena scoffed. Despite wanting her back, she does not know her own daughter at all. Wow.

“Who said anything about me killing you?” Athena retorted, she sliced the air with her ice-made scythe and an inter dimensional passageway appeared. “You be send to the Prison of Albatross, hope you like to wears whatever colored prison uniform is out now in the prison fashion, it really match your new look,” Athena smile innocently despite her tone of voice is cocky.

“You bra-AAAAAAaaaaahhh!!” Sedusa screamed, before she could name-call Athena for being so cocky as she is push into the passage telepathically by a Bewitched Chameleon, that is on Athena’s shoulder. The passageway behind Athena disappeared.

Athena’s body shakes and her body fell, landing onto the pavement on her knees. It was over for now.

“Excellent work Athena,” Hannibal complimented, “You did not let yourself taken over by revenge and Heylin Magic’s influences completely.”

“Though, it would be best to take her back to the monastery for an examination,” Hannibal thought to himself about Athena, looking at her carefully.

“I’m tired now Counsellor Hannibal,” said Athena. “I just wants hurry home, I’ve wasted enough time here.”

“Can you get up and fly?” Hannibal ask. Athena did not say anything. Hannibal put his hand up.

“Portallus Projectum,” Hannibal chanted. His eyes glow red and a portal is made. Hannibal picked up the Chemical X Super magical girl and went through the portal. The portal closed.

Despite having bad vibes with fairies from an incident that left her face marred by the holy water burns, Niko Corduroy, the protector of Townsville, still continue writing down topics relating to the supernatural. Just not in her usual excited self. She occasionally carry around a journal, a gift from her godfather, Dipper Pines, a professor at Gravity Falls, Oregon (a sleepy town where many supernatural things happened that now changed over the years, but it is still a closed supernatural community unlike most of the communities in the supernatural world of Earth-ni). Maybe because she is doing this to take Ethan’s stead or preparing Ethan as their godfather’s successor in studying supernatural occurrences in her own way. Or maybe… an act of redemption for her own character.

I dont think the fandom talks about it but i really love that every single piece of sky clothing is embroidered, because unless skyloft has embroidery machines thats all hand done. Which means either someone he knows makes a lot of them and gives them out freely (i give most of my projects to friends and family) or he would have paid someone for it, which means that either someone on skyloft lives of decorating clothing (and likely other fabrics) or someone just uses it to get some extra money (both are amazing since in the modern day people dont want to pay for handcrafted works what its actually worth)

Reading the Iliad, Book 19 thoughts

Achilles and Agamemnon were acting really damn lame in this book

Thetis meets up with Achilles and lays his new armor at his feet. Achilles is face down still crying over Patroclus's body.

"He's gone bro 😐 get up" - Thetis

This armor is so divine and shit mortal men can't look at it for too long be it glistens so bright

So now Achilles is all set to head into battle

but Achilles doesn't want to leave Pat's body bc he fears that worms, and flies, and all that will defile his corpse

Thetis tells her son, to not worry about that bc she will make sure no decomposition sets in and Pat could lie there for a year and his body would still be fresh

Achilles calls a meeting between the men in the camp

All the important ppl show up. They're like all injured tho

Achilles starts talking to Agamemnon abt how their fight was really stupid and how he wishes Artemis had struck Briseis down with an arrow the day he stormed Lyrnessus.....

Just die already, Achilles.

Odysseus, I would think you would fucking hate oaths considering the last oath you suggested everyone make

Achilles really wants to go fuck up the Trojans like NOW so he basically says "No one eats until we avenge Patroclus😡"

But Ody tells Achilles that they all should eat so they can have the energy to fight in the first place and runs off to grab Achilles' gifts

One gift being Briseis herself

Agamemnon swears the oath. (His ass was probably lying)

The meeting ends and everyone goes back to their tents

Once Achilles and Birseis enter his tent, Birseis see that Patroclus dropped like a fucking fly

She begins to cry and beat at her chest. Somewhere in the middle of all that she says "Patroclus, you never let me mourn my husband and brothers when Achilles murdered them and you promised to make Achilles marry me. You were always so kind🥺."

Agamemnon, Nestor, Menelaus, Odysseus, Idomeneus, and Phoenix are still trying to get Achilles to eat be he refuses out of mourning for Patroclus.

Achilles laments that Patroclus would always serve them a meal but now he can't anymore.

Achilles has such a way of making you hate him all the while feeling bad for him.

He says that even should he learn of his own father's death (Peleus), the pain would still not compare to what he feels for Patroclus's death

THEN Achilles says that Patroclus was supposed to get Neoptolemus and bring him back to Achilles' homeland and show him all his wealth.

Achilles literally had a whole life planned out for his loved ones after he was gone.

How much time did he spend preparing Patroclus for a life without him only for Pat to die first😭

Cut to Athena and Zeus. He asks "Hello? don't you like Achilles or whatever🤨 why are you letting him suffer?"

Athena goes down and instills nector and ambrosia within him to stave off the hunger.

As Achilles is preparing for battle he starts talking to the damn horses.
