Where Kang Saebyeok is chased by another girl after they were fired from the games.
𖹭.ᐟ Warnings: angst ; fluff ; no callback to the games ; fem! reader
Part two
Arriving at Saebyeok's small home was a small respite, you entered before Saebyeok even told you, you smiled happy to at least have a roof over your head.
"Woah, your home is beautiful, Byeokkie" you murmured happily, letting out a high pitched squeal that made her want to put earplugs in, but what really threw her off was the nickname.
"Don't ever call me that again in your miserable life" she growled in annoyance.You pouted, ever since she told you her name just a few minutes ago, you had been racking your brains thinking of a good nickname for the cold girl.
"Okay, Byeokkie!" you jumped into the small kitchen, looking around.
"Now that I think about it, I have absolutely nothing to eat" she said but before she could say anything else, you came out -literally- from one of the low drawers in the kitchen, with a package of ramen in your hand.
"Tada~" you smiled happily and ran up to her, showing off your little accomplishment, but she seemed more confused by the fact that you had gotten into that small space to look for food.
"I guess we'll have to share" she sighed, she hated sharing her food, her space, absolutely everything, she was only shared with her little brother.
You both sat on the floor, opening the package and starting to eat it like that, as if they were cookies, because there was definitely no water and much less gas.
"It doesn't taste that bad if you imagine you're eating pizza" you murmured smiling, Saebyeok was starting to get uncomfortable seeing you smile 90% of the time.
"Byeokkie, where am I going to sleep?"Before she could scold you again for calling her that, she remembered that she only had a small mattress, some blankets, a pillow and that's it, she didn't even have a couch.
"I don't know, kid, eat" she said, she would fix that later.
"Okay, Byeokkie!" You smiled and obediently went back to eating. “By the way, don’t call me ‘little girl’ I already told you my name” you mumbled, pursing your lips.
“Will you stop calling me ‘Byeokkie’?” he asked, looking at you, you shook your head in denial with a mischievous smile “Then I’ll keep calling you ‘little girl’, now shut up before I throw you out the window.”
You gulped, before quickly nodding.
After their grand feast, the two of you fell silent, Saebyeok walked over to a small corner cabinet, pulled out a short sleeved shirt and a pair of baggy pants, without saying anything he dropped them on your head.
“What?” you looked at the old clothes and then looked at Saebyeok “Do you want me to go throw them away?” you asked innocently, making Saebyeok glare at you.
“No, you idiot. It's for you to take off that stupid skirt and put on something comfortable to sleep in" he said before walking a few steps, he dropped onto the mattress under your gaze.You quickly changed, your hands holding your pants so they wouldn't fall down.
Saebyeok took one of his blankets and dropped it in one of the corners of the room, pointing with his finger.
"Wait... I'm going to sleep there? You're treating me like a dog!" you whine, but walk over to where he dropped the blanket. "You suck at treating your guests."
"I never really invited you, I felt sorry for you. And no, I'm not treating you like a dog, you're more like a... a bunny" she said, there was something in her tone that was different, maybe less serious and more mocking.
"Ugh!" without being able to protest anymore, you settle down in the small corner, doing your best to get into the blanket and not touch the floor, but at the same time, covering yourself a little.
A few minutes passed, Saebyeok already had her pajamas on, she was lying on her back, her arms above her head, she was starting to fall asleep, but the little ball shaking in that corner, made her wake up.
"Idiot..." she muttered before standing up, she walked over to you and gave you a little kick "go to the mattress, I'll sleep here" she said reluctantly, you looked at her for a few seconds before running to the mattress and letting yourself fall.
Saebyeok took your place, the blanket barely covered his feet, he took a deep breath and turned around, looking at the wall, he was starting to close his eyes when he felt a warm presence behind her, she turned around just to see you, curled up and covered with a blanket, you were still shaking a little.
"Little girl, if you don't stop right now, I'm going to take the mattress and leave you here" she said, trying to sound threatening, but she couldn't help but think about how adorable you looked there next to her.
"Byeokkie..." again that stupid nickname that Saebyeok hated came out of your lips.
"Silly girl" she said before standing up, you thought she would keep her word and leave, but she took your arm and pulled you "if you kick me at night, you won't wake up" she said, both of you fell on the small mattress, covered themselves with the blankets and were so close that it was useless to turn your backs.
The night passed normally, until suddenly, Saebyeok felt something bury itself in her chest, she opened her eyes scared only to find a mat of soft hair.
"Damn girl" he muttered before resting his chin on your head and falling back to sleep.
I'm looking forward to seeing Saebyeok's development!!
Thanks for reading, and if you want mentions, I'll gladly add them!

pairing kang sae-byeok x fem!reader | wc: 4.2k
synopsis your girlfriend comes home from work feeling a bit more clingier than usual, resulting in clips of her going viral for being handsy on stream.
genre pure fluff | requested by anon. | masterlist
Kang Sae-byeok had a way of entering a room like a quiet storm, carrying an energy that was both calming and commanding. You didn't need to look up to know it was her. The familiar chime of your home security as the front door opened, the muffled shuffle of her sneakers against the hardwood floor, and the almost imperceptible sigh she let out as if shedding the brunt of her day off once she stepped into the apartment were enough to signal her return. It was late—her long shifts often stretched into the night—but even exhaustion couldn't dull the magnetic presence she brought with her.
You were mid-stream, headphones snug over your ears as the glow of your screen illuminated the darkened room. The chat was buzzing with activity, viewers throwing suggestions and jokes your way as you tried your hardest to focus on the decision-based games storyline.
Then from the corner of your eye, you caught a glimpse of her feet padding towards your streaming room until the door slowly creaked open. her head slowly peeking in to try and not disrupt you. A glimpse of dark hair, tired eyes, and the faintest smile that tugged at her lips as she peeked into the room, the smallest smile tugging at her lips as she gazed at your relaxed figure. She stood there for a moment, her fingers curling around the edge of the door frame as if debating whether to disturb you. But then, as always, her desire to be near you won out. Fighting against her hesitance, she stepped inside with the quiet grace you adored, her presence like a soothing balm.
“Hey,” she whispered, her voice as soft and understated as her footsteps.
You glanced at her, your heart doing a little flip at the sight of her. “Hold on, guys,” you said quickly, ignoring the flurry of comments in the chat as you muted your mic. The viewers could wait—Sae-byeok never could, The influx of comments going unnoticed by the both of you as you stared up at her adoringly.

"You look tired," you said gently, your voice barely above a whisper.
"I am," she replied, her tone understated but warm. "But I needed to see you."
Without another word, she dipped down and kissed you. It wasn't a rushed kiss, but slow and full of emotion, her lips brushing against yours as though she were savoring the moment. One of her hands left her pocket to cradle your cheek, her thumb grazing your skin in a feather-light touch that sent shivers down your spine. She broke away for a brief moment only to kiss you again, this time lingering longer, her lips warm and soft, molding perfectly against yours.
“How’s it going?” she murmured quietly, barely breaking away from your lips as her voice carried the weight of her rough work day but still dripping with affection.
“It’s going,” you whisper slightly dazed. “You?” you quietly add on, tilting your head in question.
She lazily shrugged her shoulders before she closed the gap between you once again, her lips brushing against yours in a kiss that was as gentle as it was grounding.
Her fingers lightly grazed your cheek, her thumb tracing an invisible pattern along your jawline as she kissed you again—this one lingering, her lips soft and warm against yours as if she were a starved woman, seeking out your touch.
“What game are you playing?” she asked between soft pecks, her voice tinged with curiosity and a faint rasp from a long day as she held your chin in place to continue her flurry of soft pecks.
“Just—something for…for the stream,” you mumbled, unable to focus with her so close. You didn’t want to pull away, and judging by the way her thumb continued to gently stroke your chin, neither did she.
Finally, she smiled softly, her fingers brushing a stray strand of hair from your face. “I’m going to take a quick shower. Don’t miss me too much,” she teased, her words playful but her tone gentle. She pinched your cheek lightly before stepping away, her hand slipping from your face at the last moment as though reluctant to fully let go.
Her absence left a hollow ache in the air, but you pushed it aside. It was impossible to get your mind to focus entirely when the thought of her lingered in your mind-the softness of her lips, the warmth of her touch, the way her presence seemed to fill every corner of the apartment.

You turned back to your stream. Confusion etched on your face as the speed of the chat doubled seemingly out of nowhere, until the slow realization came to you that your camera was still on and your fans saw everything.
Your face instantly flushed, the feeling of warmth creeped up your neck slowly as you unmuted your mic. You cleared your throat softly before continuing on with game as if nothing happened, refusing to look at the chat as you typed away on your keyboard, adding in your own soft quips and lines of commentary but your voice was slightly weaker from before, still feeling the trace of Sae-Byeok on your lips.
It wasn’t long before she returned, interrupting your stream once again. This time, her hair was damp, framing her face in soft waves that clung to her cheeks. She wore an oversized sweater that hung loosely off one shoulder, paired with black shorts that revealed her long, toned legs. Her bare feet padded quietly across the floor as she approached, her movements unhurried, almost cat-like.
She leaned over the back of your chair, her arms draping around your shoulders as she rested her head lightly against yours. Her damp hair tickled your temple, and her scent—clean, earthy, and undeniably hers—enveloped you.
“Are you hungry?” she asked, her voice soft yet casual as she scrolled through a food delivery app on her phone. Her fingers moved with an absentminded grace, the light from the screen reflecting off her delicate features.
You muted your mic again, ignoring the flurry of comments in the chat. “Yeah, what are you in the mood for?” you asked, your tone playful.
She shrugged, a faint smile tugging at her lips as she scrolled. “Anything’s fine, as long as it’s with you,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. Her body remained pressed against yours, her warmth grounding you in a way nothing else could even after she put the order in for your food.
You glanced up at her, your lips twitching into a smile. “Why are you still here?” you teased, reaching up to gently touch her arm.
She blinked, her eyes widening slightly as though just realizing how long she’d been standing there. With a soft chuckle, she straightened up, the hand holding her phone brushing against your shoulder briefly. “Right. You’re streaming. Sorry,” she murmured, the faintest blush coloring her cheeks as she reluctantly stepped away.

kittyuuuuhh this is the most we’ve ever seen of sae-byeok AND IM NOT COMPLAINING
Glancing at the chat you said nothing again, hiding the smile that fought its way onto your face with one of your sweater paws as you switched over to a video to watch instead. “You guys are having way too much fun,” you quietly murmur.
Once the food arrived, Sae-byeok reappeared, balancing two plates of takeout in her hands. She hesitated in the doorway, shifting her weight from one foot to the other as her gaze darted between you and your computer screen.
“Can I stay here?” she asked softly, her voice laced with hesitation. You watched as she continued to nervously shift from one to the other, her hands clutching the plates as though it might anchor her.
Without caring to mute yourself to your audience again, you simply nodded and beckoned her over. “Of course.”
She exhaled quietly, relief evident in the way her shoulders relaxed. Sinking to the floor beside you out of camera view, she crosses her legs and rests her head against your dangling leg. Her free arm wrapped loosely around it, anchoring herself to you in a way that felt natural and familiar, while her other hand busied itself on feeding her.
“You sure you don’t want to sit on the couch?” you asked, glancing down at her. “You’d be more comfortable.”
She shook her head, her cheek brushing against your leg as she continued eating. “I’m fine here,” she replied, her voice muffled but content. Her chewing was gentle, the faint vibrations of her jaw against your leg making you giggle softly. She glanced up at you, her lips curving into a small, amused smile before she returned to her food.
Even as you resumed your stream, her presence grounded you. Occasionally, you felt her gaze on you, quiet and thoughtful, but she never said a word. She simply stayed there, her head resting against you as though she belonged there.
After finishing your meals together, she gently tapped your leg, signaling her intention to get up. She collected the plates with practiced ease, her fingers brushing yours briefly as she took yours. Just before turning to leave, she leaned down, her lips brushing softly against your temple in a fleeting, tender kiss. “I’ll take care of these,” she said softly, her voice like a melody, the warmth of her kiss lingering on your skin as she disappeared into the kitchen.
Her absence was brief, only a minute or so, before she reappeared in the doorway. She stood there for a moment, her silhouette framed by the soft glow of the hallway light, holding a small bowl of mochi ice cream in her hands. Her fingers curled delicately around the edge of the bowl as if she were cradling something fragile. “Do you want dessert?” she asked, her voice quiet and tinged with a tentative hopefulness that tugged at your heart.
You turned toward her, your smile widening at the sight. “Absolutely,” you said, nodding eagerly, the excitement in your voice making her lips twitch upward in the faintest of smiles. She stepped forward with her usual grace, placing the bowl gently into your hands, her fingertips grazing yours for a moment longer than necessary.
Instead of retreating, as you half-expected, Sae-byeok surprised you by lowering herself onto the floor beside your chair once again. She tucked her legs beneath her, her movements slow and deliberate, as she hooked her arm loosely around your dangling leg once again. Her body seemed to relax as she rested her head lightly against your knee, the familiar warmth of her touch grounded you in an instant.
She picked up her own share of mochi ice cream and began eating quietly, her gaze occasionally flitting toward you. Every now and then, you caught her watching you, her dark, expressive eyes filled with a quiet affection that made your heart tighten in your chest. The soft curve of her lips, the way her lashes cast shadows against her cheeks, and the tender way she lingered so close—it was as though she was trying to soak in every moment with you.
Sae-byeok wasn’t normally like this. She was always so cautious, so careful about avoiding the cameras and giving you space while you worked. She’d rarely even step foot in your streaming room, her natural shyness and private nature keeping her at a distance. But tonight felt different. Tonight, her usual restraint seemed to melt away, replaced by an uncharacteristic clinginess that was both endearing and heart-achingly sweet. Her need to be close to you outweighed her usual hesitations, and you couldn’t help but smile as the butterflies thrashed around in your stomach.
Once you finished your share of mochi ice cream, you absentmindedly rested your hand on your knee. Before you could even blink, Sae-byeok reached for it, her fingers wrapping gently around yours as she guided your hand to her head. The silky, yet damp strands of her hair slipped through your fingers as you began to massage her scalp, your movements soft and tender. She released a quiet, contented sigh, her entire body relaxing further into you. Her eyes fluttered closed for a moment, her long lashes brushing delicately against her cheeks, but then they opened again, gazing up at you with a vulnerable, unspoken longing that made your heart ache.
Her gaze immediately drew your attention back down to her, forgetting about the mic still being on as you leaned closer, your voice gentle and full of concern. “What’s wrong, baby?” you asked, your words as soft as a whisper meant only for her.
Sae-byeok hesitated, her lips parting slightly as if to speak, but instead, she buried her face into the fabric of your pants. Her breath was warm against your leg, and her hands fidgeted with the hem of your pant leg, her movements small, and nervous. Finally, she murmured, so quietly you almost didn’t hear her, “Can we cuddle?”
Your heart melted on the spot, a soft laugh escaping your lips. She was always so composed, so guarded, but moments like these—when she let her vulnerability peek through—left you utterly captivated. Before you could reassure her, she quickly added, her voice rushing out in a soft flurry, “You don’t have to end the stream. I just want you to sit on my lap.”
Your breath hitched at her shy but bold request, glancing over to your chat who unmistakably heard what she asked. Ignoring the flurry of messages coming in, you nodded immediately, unable to deny her anything. Sae-byeok stood with a fluid grace, her movements purposeful but quiet as she disappeared into the bedroom. Once she returned, she was holding a soft, familiar blanket in her hands. She motioned for you to stand, her fingers brushing lightly against your sides as she gently guided you out of your chair.
Once she was seated, she patted her lap, her lips curving into the faintest smile as she looked at you expectantly. Sae-byeok’s arms tightened around your waist, her body a grounding warmth beneath you as you settled into her lap. Her head rested against your shoulder, and her fingers absently traced small, soothing circles along your hip under the blanket. She nuzzled her face into the crook of your neck, her breath feather-light against your skin as she inhaled deeply, as though she was trying to commit your presence to memory.
The stream continued in the background, the faint sound of your chat bubbling with comments about the unexpected scene unfolding before them.
Despite her usual shyness around the camera, Sae-byeok seemed perfectly content, nestled close to you as if the world outside the two of you didn’t exist. You had almost forgotten about the viewers entirely until a particularly enthusiastic comment caught your attention.
yoondiaries she's hot omg
You laughed softly, unable to resist glancing at the chat. “They’re talking about you, baby,” you teased, turning your head slightly to meet Sae-byeok’s gaze.
Her reaction was immediate. Her cheeks flushed a delicate pink as her eyes widened in surprise. “They can see me?” she whispered, her voice hushed but filled with quiet panic.
You nodded your head gently, resting a reassuring hand over hers. “Yes, they can see you.”
Her blush deepened as she buried her face into the curve of your neck, her warm breath tickling your skin. “I shouldn’t have stayed,” she murmured, her voice muffled against you.
“You’re fine,” you gently reassured, your free hand coming up to stroke her hair. The silky strands slipped easily through your fingers as you murmured, “They’re just excited to see you. Don’t let them get to you.”
She huffed softly, the sound halfway between amusement and exasperation, and burrowed deeper into your neck to hide her embarrassment. Her arms squeeze you tighter, her grip firm yet gentle, and the warmth of her shy affection makes your heart ache in the best way.
“I’m never doing this again,” she mumbled, though the way her lips brushed against your skin betrayed her growing comfort.
“Sure you won’t,” you teased, pressing a light kiss to her temple. “But if you happen to change your mind, I’ll make sure the chat behaves next time.”
Sae-byeok sighed, a small laugh escaping her as her tension melted away. “Fine,” she relented, her voice softer now. “But only for you.”
As the comments continued to roll in, filled with adoration for Sae-Byeok’s sudden appearance, Her hold on you tightened slightly, her arms drawing you closer as if she feared you might slip away. “I love you,” she whispered, her voice so soft and reverent that it sent a shiver down your spine.
“I love you too,” you replied, your voice just as tender as you leaned back into her embrace. Her warmth enveloped you completely, and the world beyond the two of you faded into insignificance. The stream, the comments, the video—they all dissolved into the background. In that moment, it was just you and Sae-byeok, your hearts beating in perfect sync as you held each other in a cocoon of quiet, unspoken love.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
The next morning, you woke to the soft glow of sunlight streaming through the curtains and the faint sound of your phone buzzing incessantly on the nightstand. You groaned, shifting slightly, only to feel Sae-byeok’s arm tighten around your waist. Her face was pressed into your shoulder, her messy hair tickling your neck as she mumbled something incoherent and burrowed closer.
Your phone buzzed again—louder this time—and you reluctantly reached for it, careful not to disturb her too much. As you unlocked the screen, a flurry of notifications greeted you, more than usual: texts, tags, and countless mentions on social media. Your stomach twisted in curiosity as you opened one of the links, and your heart nearly stopped when you saw the title of the viral clip:
"@y/nstreamss and her girlfriend need to be protected at all costs 🥺”
“Oh no…” you muttered under your breath, scrolling through the endless comments and reposts. Clips of last night’s stream were everywhere—each one capturing Sae-byeok’s shy gestures, the way she clung to you, and her adorable attempt to hide her face from the chat. The internet was in love.
“Babe,” you whispered, turning to glance at Sae-byeok. She was still half-asleep, her breathing slow and steady, completely unaware of her newfound fame.
Deciding to let her rest a bit longer, you scrolled through the trending hashtags:
• #THEYRESOCUTE
• #Saebyeok
• #Y/NANDSAEBYEOK
The replies and tweets were even more dramatic than the hashtags:
oliviahyeee i don’t even know them, but i’d die for them.
sullisicecream the way they look at each other? GODD I LOVE WOMEN
y2katseye need a 12 episode reality show of them ASAP.
wonderofwinter wait, this is really fucking cute :((
One video in particular caught your attention. It had racked up millions of views overnight, featuring the exact moment Sae-byeok had buried her face into your neck after seeing the comments. Someone had edited the clip with soft music and sparkles, and the top comment read: “This is the purest thing I’ve ever seen. Protect her at all costs.”
You couldn’t help but laugh quietly, shaking your head. “They’re obsessed with you, Sae,” you murmured, glancing down at her sleeping form.
As if on cue, she stirred, her brows furrowing as she opened one eye groggily. “What time is it?” she mumbled, her voice raspy from sleep.
“10:15,” you replied softly, brushing a strand of hair out of her face. “Also, you went viral overnight.”
Her eyes opened fully at that, a look of confusion crossing her face. “What?”
You handed her your phone, showing her one of the clips. She blinked at it, still trying to wake up, but as the video played, her expression shifted from confusion to wide-eyed disbelief.
“Why… why are they all talking about me?” she asked, sitting up slightly.
“Because you’re cute,” you teased, grinning. “Apparently, the internet agrees.”
Her cheeks flushed a deep red as she handed the phone back to you after scrolling through a few comments. “This is your fault,” she muttered, burying her face in her hands.
“Mine? You’re the one who wanted to cuddle during the stream!”
She groaned, flopping back onto the bed and pulling the blanket over her head. “I didn’t think anyone would really notice or care…”
You laughed, tugging the blanket down just enough to reveal her eyes. “It’s not so bad. They all love you.”
Sae-byeok sighed, her lips twitching into a small, reluctant smile. “It’s still embarrassing.”
You leaned down, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “Maybe, but you’re an internet sensation now.”
Sae-byeok groaned, burying her face in your shoulder. "You're impossible."
"And you love me for it," you quipped, pressing another playful kiss to her cheek this time.
She sighed dramatically but couldn't hide the quiet laugh that escaped her. "I do," she admitted, her voice soft as she tucked herself into your embrace.
Sae-byeok’s initial embarrassment began to fade, replaced by quiet amusement. And though she might never admit it, you could tell she secretly enjoyed the attention—especially when it came from being with you.
The two of you lifted yourselves up to sit cross-legged on your shared bed, your phone propped up between you as you scrolled through the never-ending flood of comments and clips. Sae-byeok rested her chin on your shoulder, her hair lightly brushing your cheek, trying to stay composed despite the way her ears were turning red.
“Look at this one,” you said, biting back a laugh as you pointed to a tweet:
hwrts4isa im not even mad the stream paused like 10 times. if my gf was THIS clingy and cute, i wouldn’t care about gaming either.
Sae-byeok groaned, burying her face into the crook of your neck. “Why do they keep calling me clingy?” she mumbled, though the way her arms wrapped tightly around your waist said she wasn’t exactly denying it.
“Because you are, babe,” you teased, turning to kiss the top of her head.
She lightly nudged you but didn’t let go, her eyes peeking out from behind her bangs. “Keep scrolling,” she said quietly, trying to sound unaffected, though her curiosity was clear.
You did as she asked, stopping on another comment, this one attached to a short clip of her kissing your cheek while the stream chat exploded in real time.
sugarina when she kissed her and then just stayed there like that??? EEEEEEEKK somebody find me a sae-byeok. o(≧▽≦)o
“See? You’re making people jealous of me now,” you teased, nudging her playfully.
Her lips twitched into a small smile despite herself. “Good. They should be,” she replied, her tone softer than her words.
Another clip caught your attention, showing the moment she hid her face in your neck after reading the comments live. The caption read:
pinkchae sae-byeok is the cutest fairy gumdrop princess kitten gummy bear ever. we need to protect her at all costs.
Sae-byeok let out a small huff, her face turning crimson as she pulled the blanket up to cover her head. “What the hell are t—Why are they calling me that?” she muttered, her voice muffled.
You burst out laughing, pulling the blanket down so you could see her flushed face. “Because you’re adorable, obviously,” you said, brushing a stray strand of hair from her cheek.
She pouted, crossing her arms but not moving away from you. “Your fans are exhausting,” she said, though the corners of her mouth betrayed a small smile.
You kept scrolling, landing on a particularly bold comment under another clip:
fleurgrl if i can’t have this kind of love, i don’t want it at all. also, when is the wedding and can i come?
At that, Sae-byeok let out a surprised laugh, her eyes widening. “Wedding?!” she exclaimed, her voice cracking slightly.
You smirked, leaning closer. “Well, what do you think? Should I put a ring on it?”
She shoved you gently, though her blush deepened. “Stop teasing,” she murmured, but the shy smile on her lips said she didn’t entirely mind.
As you continued reading through the comments together, Sae-byeok’s initial embarrassment began to fade. Though she still hid her face every now and then, she couldn’t help but laugh at the way people adored her.
“It’s not as bad as I thought it would be,” she finally admitted, resting her head on your shoulder. “But I’m still never showing up on stream again.”
You chuckled, wrapping your arms around her. “Sure, sure. Whatever you say… until you get clingy again.”
Her groan of protest was muffled against your shoulder, but the way she tightened her hold on you spoke louder than any words ever could.

oh em GEE I saw ur Kang noeul fic and I was literally shaking and that made me think of Sub! saebyeok headcannons PLEAee ILY AND UR WORKS
Warning(s): Smut, Oral, slight Fingering
-
Sub!Saebyeok would kinda get shy, but sparks of adrenaline will rush through her body when you gently spread her thighs. She bites her bottom lip to stop herself from grinning too hard. She examines under her lashes at how you kiss her inner thigh. A soft sigh will escape her lips when she notices you’re starting to lower your face to her core.
Sub!Saebyeok is a total watcher. Her eyes never leave your face. She loves to watch you go completely drunk over her cunt. She focuses on the way your lips would wrap around her clit and suck. You roll your tongue against her core and back up to her clit. A blush forms on her cheeks when she sees her juice connect with your lips when you pull away to catch your breath.
Sub!Saebyeok is usually quiet, but she’s the total opposite during these moments. She will cry and pant out loud. She would beg and grind her hips into your mouth. You have to hold her thighs apart as she squeals around.
“Please please please,” She begs. Her voice turns a few notices up. You will suck harder and bring your fingers up to fill her cunt. She arches her back and chokes out a moan. She brings one hand down and accidentally grips your hair hard. Her eyebrows furrow as she continues watching you, so lost in her pleasure.
Sub!Saebyeok would bring her other hand to cover her mouth. Her moans become muffled. You would pull away, and a trail of her juice connects from her core to your mouth.
“Why did you stop?” She whines. You take her hand from her mouth and gentle held it, not letting go.
“I want to hear you,” You explain before going back to licking her core. Her stomach tenses and she tilts her head back into the pillow. She cusses and jerks feverishly into your mouth. You close your eyes to focus on the feeling of her cunt, but she tugs your hair hard. You look up to her blushing and sweaty face.
“Look at me when I come,” She grunts.
Sub!Saebyeok would orgasm hard with a high-pitched moan. Her body would twitch uncontrollably. She will slowly stop moving her hips into your mouth. You lean away and gently kiss her hand. As she catches her breath, she smiles and lets out a soft giggle. She notices how hard you’re clenching your thighs together.

NOWHERE GIRL
PART NINE
kang sae-byeok x fem!reader
synopsis: you reunite with the ones who helped you from the start, hoping for a fresh start.
wc. 2.2k
warnings: bit of angst and a splash of comfort
(nowhere girl masterlist)
You reach over to gently tap Sae-byeok’s arm to lull her awake. She let out a low grumble before flinching back. You gasp when she threw herself back, pressing her back on the wall of the bakery and threw you a look of horror with her bloodshot eyes. She breathes heavily and begins to wonder if you were just a figment of her imagination.
Perhaps the week you stayed with them (or the entirety of March) the colors were drained from your body. Now it’s like you’re back in full spring.
Your natural blush is more pigmented, your muscles are relaxed back, and you’re dressed in more brighter attiring. The way you were looking at Sae-byeok now was different. Instead of a scared young girl, you had a glint of confidence in your eyes.
Sae-byeok feels like she is looking at a new version of you, and just like that she felt like she was meeting you for the first time again.
But she didn’t want to think too much about your brighter appearance when you’ve been avoiding her.
“What the hell are you doing here?” she asks, still catching her breath.
You blink. Almost forgetting what you came here to do. “Right. I came to give you these. As a final thank you for everything.” you laugh nervously and reach over to hand her the bouquet.
Sae-byeok quirks an eyebrow. No one has even given her flowers. What use will she have for them? Her eyes flicker back and worth to you and the flowers. You wait patiently for her to grab them but she still looks too tense to grasp the fact that you were here.
You lower your arm and sigh at your failed attempt. “I specifically chose yellow lilies because they stand for happiness and new beginnings. And lavender because they represent silence and calmness but they’re also uniquely cool—kind of like you.”
Sae-byeok blinks at them, her expression unreadable. That’s when an alarm on her phone went off. She went to go shut it off and you watch her walk to the kitchen leaving you astray with the rejected bouquets.
As hurt as you felt, you took a deep breath and dragged your foot out the bakery. A part of you expected this, you did disappear without warning. Maybe the rejection was well deserved. You wanted a fresh start, but you had to pick yourself back together again before making amends but maybe you took too long. These past two weeks did feel like an eternity.
You headed over to the entrance leading up to your quaint studio next to the bakery but got taken aback when someone slams the door just as you were about to enter it.
“Have you been avoiding me?” Sae-byeok asks quietly but her voice slightly quivers in frustration.
You frown at her even as she avoided looking at you. “I was giving you space. And I was hoping that after I got my act together maybe we could start over. That’s what I came over to do.”
Although you have a small roof over your head now, you spent most of your days cooped up in the school library trying to catch up on all the homework and projects that got destroyed in the hands of that devil they call,Yen-ho. If you weren’t in class or school, then you were at work. You’ve never been this busy in your life, you actually surprised yourself these past two weeks.
And the few breaks you gave yourself in the day, it was only to ponder on your choices and decisions. Even you have some resentment for your parents, you miss your mom’s home cooked meals and car rides with your dad when he dropped you off at school or work. It’s hard not to think about them everyday even if it’s an over thought.
You miss home. You miss your room, and you always wonder if they got rid of everything in your room by now or kept in just in case their baby makes it back home enveloped in their arms. Your new apartment lacks the warmth you had before. Everything feels cold and estranged.
By the time you were caught up on everything, your neck is constantly sore from always looking down and you have trouble sleeping most nights with the looming thoughts of perhaps forgetting to do one assignment or thinking about your family.
“I had a rough start obviously but I’m caught up on all of my classes now. Caught up in life in general actually.” you say softer. “How are you—Cheol and Ji-yeong? How’s everyone?”
Sae-byeok didn’t budge. She turns to look at you blankly so you wouldn’t guess her true feelings, like some sort of defense mechanism. You wonder if she was putting up her walls again.
“Do you actually care or are you saying that in case you need our help again?”
You force a slight smile to pretend her words didn’t sting you a bit. “I’m not the selfish person you think I am.” you say and Sae-byeok scoffs. “You know, it’s not wise to judge someone you only knew for a week.”
Without any further comment, she stuffs her hands into her pockets and starts walking in the opposite direction.
“Where are you going?”
“To pick up, Cheol.” she says. You watch her dumbfounded. Sae-byeok swiftly turns around with a sly look etching her face. “Are you going to prove me wrong?”
You send her a quizzical look. She raises both her eyebrows waiting for you to get what she was asking from you. Was it was her subtle way of asking to get to know you?
”I will.” you say more confidently. Sae-byeok nods slightly, her cold expression remaining on her face. “Actually, you guys should pop up by my place today if you’re all free. I’m cooking dinner.”
“…We’ll think about it.” she responds after a minute of thinking long and hard about your invitation. You nod and gently wave her goodbye before entering the stairs leading up to your apartment.
You have a feeling they will arrive so panic begins to set in your body. Truthfully, you didn’t actually plan to make dinner today.
✿・・───・・✦・・───・・✿
Sae-byeok leans against the wall, quietly observing the personality of your studio apartment . It was definitely small, resembling an attic. With the living room, bathroom and kitchen being close together and upstairs just big enough to fit your mattress that doesn’t have a bed frame yet. However, it seems as if you were dedicated to make this place look alive and livable.
You had your handcrafted art pieces and sculptures scattered around the walls, kitchen counter and even on the floor since you had no real piece of furniture yet. Apart from the plastic table that seated three by the only small rectangular window, you also had an oversized peace lily by the entrance that was gifted to you by Miss Ahn, who is a known plant connoisseur. Sae-byeok didn’t understand why you had so many multicolored fairy lights scattered around the ceilings, but she guesses it’s because there is a lack of natural lighting here.
“Wow, this place looks good already.” Ji-yeong says after roaming the apartment for ten minutes now. She stares up at the fairy lights in awe, reaching to tap one gently. “We lived in our apartment for three months now and it still looks the same since when we moved in. Right, Sae-byeok?”
“Thanks.” you say bashfully as you began platting the garlic spam fried rice. It’s your first time cooking for other people apart from Miss Ahn who you taught you how to make this easy cheap dinner last week. “I’m thinking of going to a thrift store soon to look for a nice couch.”
“Meh, you shouldn’t rush furniture shopping.“ she advises and sits across Cheol who was busy coloring in your old sketchbook. “When we finally moved in and found out how much a mattress cost my heart seriously fucking dropped—oh! Sorry, Cheol.”
“It’s okay. Noona swears all the time in our room.” he says innocently.
Ji-yeong looks over at Sae-byeok who was still by the wall studying your apartment. “Hey. Dinner is almost ready.”
“There’s only three chairs. I’ll just stand and eat.” she says coolly.
“Nonsense. Come and sit I have to submit an assignment that’s due tonight so you guys eat while I do that in my bed.” you reassure her, place the plates of hot food on the table. “Also, I forgot to buy drinks but I can give you water.”
“Sure!” Ji-yeong chirps and starts digging a spoonful of rice into her mouth. She groans in satisfaction. “You might just beat Sae-byeok as the better cook.”
“Shut up.” you laugh, pouring water into each of their cups.
“I’m serious. Sae-byeok hurry and try it.” she urges when the stone faced girl finally sat down.
Embarrassed to see her reaction you quickly excuse yourself to march up to your bed. You take a quick peek at the three guests before kneeling down to lift your mattress off of the floor. You pull out the cash filled envelope and shove in deep into the pocket of your sweatpants. You were going to use this money to buy a new laptop but you can hold on and use the library computers for now. Now you just sit on the edge of your bed and extra few minutes to not raise suspicions although you doubt they’ll suspect you of anything.
“Eight out ten.” Ji-yeong says when you came back downstairs. “A little bit salty but still delicious.”
“I’ll take it.” you smile and look at Sae-byeok. “What do you rate it, huh?”
Sae-byeok takes another spoonful to make a decision. “Seven out of ten.”
“Alright next time you have to cook for us since you’re so picky.” you say, playfully.
“It’s an eleven out of ten for me, Noona!” Cheol says, grinning ear to ear something you haven’t seen before.
“Oh wow, thank you, Cheol! You were the only one I cared to know what they thought about my food.” you beam. You didn’t know if you were hearing things, but you could’ve sworn Sae-byeok let out a quiet snort.
“Thanks for inviting us. It’s good to see you’re doing better.” Ji-yeong says, smiling slightly.
“I hope next time you visit I’ll have more to show you other than my seven out of ten cooking though.”
“If you’re a seven out of ten then I’m down in the gutters.” she murmurs, scratching the top of her head.
The three visitors mingled for another hour or so helping you clean the dishes and wipe down the kitchen before deciding that it was time to head home when the sun left the horizons. However, you quietly ask Sae-byeok to speak in private while she was putting on her coat. She threw you an odd look before hesitating to accept your request. Ji-yeong gave you both skeptical glances but remained quiet as she took Cheol with her out the apartment.
“Woah. What the hell are you doing?” Sae-byeok says when you pull out the envelope of cash. Her eyes grew wide and fearful. “Stop. I didn’t do it for money.”
“I know, I know but I want to help. You already work so much and also take care of Cheol and—you look so tired. I’m concerned.” you say, giving her a pleading look. “Come on, you didn’t even take the flowers that I brought you earlier.”
“I’m not taking your money.” Sae-byeok says, backing away. “This isn’t what I meant when I asked if you cared!”
“Do you really want me to give you a speech? When Ji-yeong and Cheol are waiting outside?” you cross your arms. Sae-byeok reaches for the door knob. “Stop! Hey—look after what you’ve done for me you truly earned my respect!”
Sae-byeok freezes when she twisted the knob. Her eyes get darker and narrower. “What are you talking about?”
“I don’t know much about you or your past but I can tell you had to do cold and heartless things to survive and no person deserves that. Especially being so young. So, just take this it’s—it’s not a lot but as long as you aren’t overworking yourself to death for a bit will make me content.”
You reach to grab Sae-byeok’s hand and place the envelope on her palm, she gently curls her fingers around it.
“Can I be honest with you?” you ask. She lets out a faint sniffle but shakes her head. “I used to live life in a bubble wrap. I have—I had two loving parents, a group of friends and school. That was it—and it was easy. I’ve never known real hard work until I had to leave everything behind…and I was ready to give up but you and Ji-yeong and even Cheol gave me strength. I don’t know what it was about you guys that did but maybe one day I’ll figure it out and I’ll let you know when I do.”
The tension in the air was killer. You hold your breath afraid that even your faint breathing will disturb whatever was on Sae-byeok’s mind. She was your enigma. Never have you met someone as confusing as her.
“Thank you.” she says barely above whisper, staring down at her shoes.
“Thank me by taking care of yourself.” you say in a light tone hoping that she will be comfortable looking at you. “You should probably go now before Ji-yeong and Cheol get worried. I’ll see you around?”
“Yeah.” she croaks. “Bye.”
To your disappointment, Sae-byeok’s head remained lowered till the moment she walked out the door. But you hope that over time you get to know what underneath her hard cold surface.

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 | 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐞 𝐁𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐤 ౨ৎ
pairing : kang sae byeok x fem!reader
warnings : nsfw
warnings for sfw : tiniest mention of sickness
warnings for nsfw : dom!saebyeok, sub!reader, tiny mention of knife play, degradation, strap
a/n : just thought i’d start off with some headcannons <3 if you have requests, feel free to message me <3
- Saebyeok probably wouldn’t be the first one to say “i love you”
- when she did say those three words, she would feel relieved. after all, she has been holding it in since she laid eyes on you
- and she doesn’t say it much, instead, she shows her love through different ways
- like remembering the smallest details — like how you take your coffee (or if you don’t like coffee), which side of the bed you prefer, or your favorite movies
- she has a habit of “borrowing” things of yours and never returning them
- she absolutely loves seeing you in her clothes
- the first time Saebyeok fell asleep on the couch with your head on her chest, it’s a bigger milestone than your first kiss
- Saebyeok struggles with accepting help or care when she’s sick. she’s used to acting like she’s fine. the first time she calls you because she has a fever is a huge moment of trust
- gives you a spare key for her apartment
- she’s not big on pet names, but i think from time to time she would call you, “darling,” “baby,” or “princess”
- always saying things like “i missed you,” “did you eat?” or “are you warm enough?”
- she expresses worry more through actions since she’s not the most comfortable with saying things. she’ll fix the bow on the back of your hair when you’re walking ahead of her
- when she’s upset, she goes quiet rather than angry
- Saebyeok’s love language is 100% quality time
- i think we can call come to an agreement that she’s not a fan of pda
- she will hold hands with you while walking though
- in private, she would like physical contact though. she’s always finding small ways to touch you
- loves to give you hugs — her arms wrapped around you as she holds you in her embrace, resting her chin on your head as she murmurs sweet words to you
- her favorite form of physical affection is playing with your hair while you lay on her chest as you two watch movies
- we can also all come to an agreement that this woman is PROTECTIVE !!
- is always near you out in public like a personal bodyguard
- carries her pocket knife everywhere
- while walking together, Saebyeok always positions herself on the street side of the sidewalk
- and what if i said she memorizes your schedule (without meaning to) just to know you’re safe ??
- the first time you meet Cheol, she’s more nervous than either of you
- Saebyeok doesn’t even realize that she leaves things at your apartment
- the first time she calls your apartment “home,” she doesn’t even notice—it feels natural
- she has a specific spot on the couch in your living room that becomes “her spot”
- Saebyeok is always the first to wake up. she’ll make coffee for herself and attempt to make toast but burns it. so once you wake up you’ll have to help her with cooking
- she keeps track of important dates, she never needs a reminder for your anniversary or your birthday
- she’s surprisingly good at domestic tasks. years of self-reliance made her practical
- she stress cleans when anxious. you can tell when something’s bothering her
- she loves late night talks. whether it be sharing goals in life or random thoughts, she’ll always enjoy it
- Saebyeok’s protective but not possessive, having learned the difference between love and control
- has trouble accepting gifts but puts incredible thought into giving them. no matter how many people she has to pickpocket, she will get you something she knows you’ve been wanting for a long time
- never makes promises she’s not absolutely certain she can keep
- she always keeps her promises
- Saebyeok keeps a journal of things that make you smile (she won’t ever admit it)
- is secretly good at video games but pretends to be bad so you can “teach” her
- loves sharing airpods with you when you two are on the subway or walking
- has a (secret) playlist of songs that remind her of you
nsfw ౨ৎ
- she’s a top / dom !!! anyone who says different is a liar
- okay and what if i said she’s lowkey into knife play ?? then what
- Saebyeok really focuses on making you feel good. gets satisfaction on seeing you cum
- she’s usually more on the rougher side, but if you want her to be gentle, she will be no questions asked
- “don’t get all shy now. it’s just me.” when you’re getting shy or nervous with her
- mix of praise and degradation !! “you’re so dirty for me.” “you look so pretty cumming on my fingers.”
- could eat you out for the rest of her life
- loves when you wear dresses or skirts cause it gives her the opportunity to slide her hand closer and closer to where you need her. and she knows. but she can’t resist teasing you
- loves fucking you with a strap just because ?? especially in front of a mirror
- sweetest aftercare, so so gentle with you. as if you’re made out of glass

they take turns ༉‧₊˚✧
(kang saebyeok and kang no eul take turns with fucking you) kang saebyeok x fem reader and kang no eul x fem reader ────୨ৎ──── cw: scissoring, car sex with no eul, reader is originally dating saebyeok but then she meets no eul, strap-on usage, saebyeok is gentle and sweet, no eul is rough and remorseless, fingering, vaginal fisting, shower sex with no eul, saebyeok cries during sex, fluff with saebyeok
you and saebyeok have been dating for a few months and she’s been nothing but the sweetest girlfriend you’ve ever had. y’all would always go on cute coffee shop dates, aquarium dates, beach dates, etc. you and her even thought about planning a trip to jeju island to celebrate your 1 year anniversary together.
you and saebyeok prioritize each other in everything and even your friends think your relationship with saebyeok is perfectly healthy. saebyeok enjoys giving you small pecks on the cheek and you enjoy cuddling with saebyeok during cold or rainy nights. your girlfriend has never thought about doing anything much more either than kissing and cuddling but you didn’t mind since you respected her boundaries.
one day in particular, it was a cold day and you and saebyeok were going on a date to a sushi restaurant to celebrate your 6 month anniversary with her. just then, a young woman with a cold expression on her face walked past you and your girlfriend whilst you were trying to reserve a table for the both of you. you didn’t think much about that woman but her cold expression really gave you the shivers.
moments after you and saebyeok got a table, the woman came up to saebyeok with a smile that didn’t seem genuine. “saebyeok, is it? kang saebyeok?” the woman spoke up with a deep tone that freaked you out a bit since you were so used to your girlfriend’s soft voice. saebyeok looked at her but she didn’t smile back, “why are you here, no-eul?” saebyeok’s tone didn’t sound as sweet as the tone she always used, it sounded bitter. no-eul leaned in to whisper into your girlfriend’s ear and left in a dash.
you didn’t try to ask saebyeok anything about the weird situation and instead tried to enjoy the moment by enjoying the special date at the sushi restaurant with her.
after the date, it was around 7 pm and saebyeok thought about spending the night at your apartment which you recently bought with your own money. once you got ready for bed and lended saebyeok a pair of comfy clothes she could wear, her phone started ringing. you got a glimpse of the name of the caller and it was no-eul. you got creeped out but also annoyed that this no-eul keeps getting in the way. saebyeok never mentioned she had a friend named no-eul. saebyeok coldly excused herself and went to take the call in the bathroom.
you didn’t want to eavesdrop but you did overhear something about no-eul being a horndog.
“what type of fucking conversation is this?”
you thought to yourself.
in the meantime, you decided to drift off to sleep, hoping your girlfriend would end that fuck ass call with no-eul talking about how she wants to talk someone through it.
it was around 2 am and saebyeok was sleeping soundly next to you, her arms wrapped around you. her soft breathing made you feel some sort of way, the way she gently ran her hands through your hardened nipples really made you wet. you’ve never had sex before nor masturbated, but in that hot moment, you wanted to feel everything. without your girlfriend noticing, you slowly ran your fingers around your clothed pussy, feeling it slowly get wet. you put your hand inside your panties and traced your fingers around your aroused clit, teasing your tight folds as your fingers made their way into your hole. you dipped them in and out, rubbed them in there until you were a soaking mess.
saebyeok, began to press small kisses on your neck from behind, her arms wrapped tightly around you, your soft moans from fingering yourself made it obvious to her that you wanted her in that moment. “honey, do you want to try it?” saebyeok asked you with the sweetest tone, making you turn around to face her. she put your hair behind your ear and went in to kiss you. surprisingly, she took the hand you used to finger yourself with and began sucking your fingers clean. you’ve never seen your girlfriend act like this before but it got you turned on, making you want to undress yourself right on the spot. she began tugging on your shirt, basically begging you to strip immediately. you pulled your shirt off, your tits in front of her face, your nipples immediately hardened to the thought of her sucking on them. saebyeok undressed herself as fast as she could, looking like an impatient sex addict.
her fingers went immediately to your crotch, she looked mesmerized by the sight of your virgin pussy. she dipped one of her fingers in your pussy, causing you to moan out, as you fully undressed yourself fully. saebyeok went further by dipping in another finger, slowly entering your untouched cervix. “fuck…” you moaned out as she fingered you slowly. you felt like your cervix was getting stretched open by her fingers and you were so close to the edge. “what’s wrong?” saebyeok whispered as she went faster and deeper. you couldn’t even talk, you just moaned as you came all over her hand. she slipped her fingers out of you and got on top of you to kiss you.
your right leg wrapped around her, making her pussy meet yours. her hips started moving back and forth against you, your pussy making wet squelching sounds with hers. her moans sounded like cries, but it was so hot, she was whimpering. her clit met yours which immediately caused you to scream out. her hip moving went faster and faster, making your pussy feel like it’s melting with hers. “hold my hand baby, i’m almost there” saebyeok made you hold her hand, her hand interlocking with your hand tightly as she released her squirt all over your pussy and lower tummy. she went in to kiss you again, but with much more passion.
this moment made your relationship with your girlfriend grow stronger and more intimate. intimacy was what you were both lacking.
that morning, you woke up alone, thinking saebyeok was still sleeping soundly, resting her head on your chest. you got up, your heart racing with fear. you thought saebyeok left you.
as you quickly put on a pair of panties and a random shirt on and made your way into the living room of your apartment, you found no-eul and your girlfriend standing near the doorway. you felt annoyed and rushed over to shoo no-eul out of your apartment, “how the fuck do you know my girlfriend?” no-eul smiled at you and calmly replied, “we grew up together in north korea,” you looked back at your girlfriend to see if she had any sort of reaction but she wasn’t even looking at the two of you. you face yourself back to no-eul, waiting to see who would break this awkward moment. “i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to talk to you that way. i just found it weird that i suddenly started finding you everywhere i went as if you were stalking me or my girlfriend,” no-eul just smiled at you, as a way of accepting your apology.
suddenly, saebyeok told you that she had to leave for a few hours to run some errands like usual. you let her leave and watched no-eul leave as well with her.
as you were preparing to take a warm shower, your apartment’s doorbell ringed. you opened the door and found no-eul again. instead of making that stirred up face you always made whenever you saw no-eul, you smiled back at her. you let her into your apartment and got to know her, even if you still had an iffy feeling about her.
“so that basically sums up how me and kang saebyeok got to get in touch with each other again,” no-eul finished her story that made you learn a bit about her. you had a weird feeling that your girlfriend and no-eul could possibly be related to each other since they both share the same surname but you thought it would make the moment between you and no-eul uncomfortable if you asked her about it.
but something about no-eul; you didn’t know if it was her sweet scent that reminded you of saebyeok or her dark eyes that sparkled but something definitely turned you on about her. you’re not a cheater, and you’re well known amongst your friend circle for being a loyal puppy when it comes to relationships.
all of a sudden, you suddenly found yourself kissing no-eul, you were completely drowned in your own thoughts that you didn’t get to remember how you even ended up kissing her in the first place. you felt no-eul’s tongue dart inside your mouth, both of your tongues dancing with each other, her taste reminded you so much of saebyeok it drove you insane.
when you finally came to your senses, you broke the kiss with her immediately and said, “no-eul, i have a girlfri-“ she interrupted you “oh i know,” no-eul smirked at you and she went in to kiss you again.
you felt like a monster in that moment. you felt as if you completely let down the only person who you promised you were going to cherish forever.
you left no-eul in the living room as you made your way to take the shower you were going to take after saebyeok left. as soon as you undressed yourself, the bathroom’s door swung open.
“what a fucking perv”
you thought to yourself.
no eul was seen only wearing a pair of panties, her tits were out. you completely froze in that moment, you knew things were going to take a turn for the worst after this encounter. you didn’t get to realize that she had some weird bulge in her panties and it really got you turned on? this situation got you turned on? cheating on your girlfriend with her childhood friend turned you on?
you were getting lost again into your thoughts as you saw no-eul pulling down her panties rapidly and saw her dark red 7 inch strap on spring out, slapping her tummy.
nothing mattered.
all that mattered was that you were now currently moaning, crying, pinned to the shower wall, you were moaning in ecstasy. no-eul had one hand on your hip and the other one pulling your hair as a handle. no-eul was in the shower with you, ramming her big cock in and out of your pussy that was once very tight, her hips worked like a jack hammer. “good fucking girl” she slammed her strap-on deeper inside your pussy “your pussy is so fucking tight—can’t even get used to this dick” she said as she jack hammered harder into you.
you eventually came on her strap-on and she gave your ass a sharp spank, leaving it stinging for a few minutes. the warm water from the shower falling on the both of you, your ass getting spanked repeatedly by no-eul made you hornier.
no-eul slapped your spread open cunt over and over again and you could even hear her giggle in satisfaction.
you thought this was over and you could just make her get out of your apartment and forget about everything and go back to how things were.
you were wrong.
saebyeok is sweet, nurturing, gentle, caring but no-eul is a savage beast, you would have thought having sex with no-eul would be similar to how you had sex with saebyeok since they both share similar personality traits but you were wrong.
no-eul turned off the running water from the shower and threw you out of the shower like a toy.
you found yourself getting pussy fucked in doggy style by her on the bathroom floor, your dripping wet hair and body made small puddles on the floor. no-eul pulled out in the middle of it and spat on your pussy and rubbed her hand aggressively against it and slipped her strap-on back inside again. “fucking saebyeok can’t do this good, can she?” no-eul said while giving you her last pounds.
you had no words after that.
the next week, you haven’t seen no-eul again but you didn’t tell anything to saebyeok. you and your girlfriend did the same things like going on dates, cuddling, etc. you seemed to forget what had happened between you and no-eul, as if it was just a bad dream. that following day, saebyeok decided to spend the night at your apartment again but something seemed weird about her.
when saebyeok entered your room, she had that same weird bulge in her pants like the one no-eul had in her panties before she fucked you relentlessly with her strap-on in the bathroom.
“babe, i wanted to try something more different with you. let’s not cuddle tonight, i don’t care about that anymore,” saebyeok said as she pulled down her pants and revealed the same fucking strap no-eul had used on you. you couldn’t even hide your shocked expression, but saebyeok had undressed herself completely before you could even say anything.
you gulped at the sight of your girlfriend who was once the most innocent and sweetest girl to being a horny animal like no-eul. “come ride it, don’t worry i’ll take care of you through it,” your girlfriend said to you as she signaled you to slip your pussy on her strap-on. you undressed yourself and to your surprise, your pussy was a soaking mess.
you gently got on top of saebyeok as she placed her cold hands on your hips, slowly sliding you down onto her strap.
oh fuck it felt real good and she could tell just by the moan you let out when her strap slipped perfectly into your cunt.
your hips moved side to side, back and forth and you did little bouncing moves that made your tits bounce up and down. you were riding her like a champ and her hands were now placed on your ass for support.
as soon as you were about to release, her eyes were getting watery and she began to whimper and cry. looks like her strap was hitting her swollen clit with every bounce you took when you were riding her.
poor girl.
fast forward to 4 months later, it was a hot sunny day in july and saebyeok thought it would be a great idea to go to the beach with you. saebyeok parked her car in a parking lot that was near the beach but she forgot to buy sunscreen. “fuck i forgot the sunscreen, please wait here or outside the car, i’ll be back,” saebyeok said as she got out of the vehicle to go to the nearest shop to buy sunscreen. you were left alone in the car, it was scorching hot so you rolled down the windows to let in some air even though it didn’t feel as refreshing as the ac.
a few minutes went by and she still hadn’t came back so you take off your shirt and shorts, revealing the new bikini you recently bought for this occasion. you were chilling in the backseat, listening to music as you heard someone run towards the car. you took off one of your ear buds to see no-eul? no-eul running towards you? you sat up and looked out the window to get a closer look.
“i got you ice cream, i’m sorry i didn’t text nor call you this whole time i was away,” no-eul apologized as she handed you a strawberry ice cream cone. you thanked her but then she demanded you to open the door for her. without a single thought, you opened the door for her and she made herself in.
as you were enjoying your ice cream, she kept eye fucking you; probably because you looked so hot in that bikini. too bad your girlfriend didn’t get a chance to see how you looked in it.
that didn’t matter now since no-eul was now on top of you, kissing you and touching you. no-eul broke the kiss and smashed the ice cream onto your tits.
“what the fuck!!!???”
you thought to yourself. she licked up the melting ice cream off your cleavage, undoing your bikini and dropping it aside. your body felt sticky and sweaty since you were left in the scorching hot car for so long.
no-eul dipped her fingers in your pussy, pumping them in and out. “fucking bitch,” she remarked as she made a fist and stuck her fist into your vagina causing you to scream out.
suddenly, you caught a glimpse of your girlfriend returning. you froze, but not fully since no-eul kept fisting your used up hole.
saebyeok opened the car’s door and caught you two in the action.
you were fucking done.
but saebyeok didn’t seem mad, she looked like she was trying to hold back her laughter.
what the fuck could this mean? could it be that your girlfriend was setting you up with no-eul this whole time?

You pant, wiping the sweat off your forehead as your girlfriend lays down beside you, sweating and panting as well.
You two had just had very rough sex, you were exhausted and fucked out.
She looks over at you, “You did so well for me.” She kissed your cheek and you smile, wrapping your arms around her neck.
She sat up, you let go of your hold on her and she stood up, putting on her boxers.
“I’ll be right back.” She leans over and kisses your cheek, before going into the bathroom.
She runs some water while you fiddle with the blanket, you missed her already.
She comes back about two minutes later and she goes up to the edge of the bed, opening her arms.
“Come here, honey.”
You crawl up to her and wrap your arms around her neck again, she picks you up with ease and carries you to the bathroom.
She sets you down and you seen the bath running with bubbles inside, it looked so nice.
You got in and hum as you shut your eyes, she chuckles and took her boxers and bra off before getting in with you.
“Hey, gorgeous.”
You smile up at her and she kisses your forehead, “I’m so proud of you.”
“I love you Sae-byeok…” You kiss her forehead as well and she grabs the small blue cup after she stops the water.
She puts water in and starts to wet your hair, it felt great, the perfect temperature.
She put some shampoo on her hands and started to scrub your hair perfectly, it was like getting a massage.
“It feels nice…” You hum, she rubs your shoulders and you shut your eyes.
She had some magic hands, they were great at everything. She was here massaging your shoulders and you were moaning.
“I love you.” She kissed your shoulder once.
“My beautiful girl…” She fills the cup with water, “Cover your eyes.” She says, you cover your eyes and she pours the water over your head.
You push your hair back when she finishes, making sure not to splash her.
She puts conditioner on her hands and rubs it over the ends of your hair and you smile, turning to her.
“You’re so perfect, I’m so lucky.” She hums and you giggle while you blush.
She started washing her hair and you grab the cup and fill it with water and pour it for her like she did for you.
You put some conditionder in your palm and straddle her lap, putting it in her hair.
You look up at her and kiss her softly, she grabs your face and passionately kisses you back.
You pull away and she grabs the cup to pour more water over your hair and you do the same for her.
She grabbed your loofa and started washing your body for you, you giggle. “That tickles...”
She grabs your hip, “You’re so pretty.”
You peck her lips, “You’re so pretty, too.” You hum, she smiles.
You wash your body of the soap while she does the same to herself and got out before you, grabbing a towel.
She wraps it around her body and grabs another towel, holding it out for you.
“Here you go, honey.” She says as you got out and wrapped it around yourself.
You walked into your room, “Wanna wear one of my shirts?” She asks, you nod with a smile.
“It’s cold…” You shiver, she hands her T-shirt to you and goes to change the temperature.
You change while she’s gone and when she comes back she pecks your lips, “I turned the AC down, okay?”
“Mhm…” You smile up at her and crawled into bed, laying down.
“I’m so sleepy.” You hum, she changed quickly and got into bed with you.
“Me too, come here.” She opens her arm and you cuddle into her chest.
“Goodnight, baby…” She whispers and you kiss her cheek, “Goodnight, Sae.”

trust me on this one. professor!saebyeok/reader
PICTURE YOU
synopsis: sae-byeok is your professor. what happens when the professional, incredibly attractive teacher you've been pining over in secret reciprocates? warnings: teacher/student romantic relationship, tiny angst if you squint
pairing: professor!sae-byeok x fem!student!reader
a/n: oh i trusted and did it. now I'm obsessed
Sae-byeok is a young, brilliant professor at Seoul National University (SNU), teaching Comparative Politics with a focus on global systems of inequality and power dynamics.
Her reputation precedes her: she’s strict but fair, incredibly sharp, and always composed. She’s also insanely beautiful, which has earned her a quiet fanbase of admirers on campus.
You’re a second-year student majoring in Political Science who signed up for her class because of her stellar reputation.
You didn’t expect her to be… this. The first time she walked into the lecture hall, her presence was magnetic. She was all sharp cheekbones, dark, intense eyes, and a voice that commanded attention.
You’re sitting in the middle row, trying to be invisible, but Professor Kang Sae-byeok’s eyes scan the room like a hawk. Despite yourself, you can’t help but be drawn to the way she carries herself—calm authority in every step.
During one of her lectures, she asks a question about the intersection of political theory and economic disparity. You hesitantly raise your hand, and to your surprise, she seems genuinely interested in your answer.
After class, she stops you briefly. “That was a good point,” she says, her voice soft but firm. “You should speak up more often.”
You start attending her office hours to ask about assignments, but it becomes clear that the two of you share a love for deep philosophical debates. Conversations flow effortlessly, and you begin to see glimpses of the person behind the professional exterior.
Sae-byeok is reserved, but the way her lips twitch into the smallest smile when you say something clever sends your heart racing.
One day, you run into her outside campus—she’s at a bookstore downtown, flipping through a thick hardcover. She looks surprised to see you but doesn’t brush you off. Instead, she spends a few minutes talking about her favorite authors. You leave the encounter feeling giddy, clutching the book she recommended.
There’s also the time you bump into her in the hallway, and she catches your arm to steady you. It’s nothing, really, but her hand lingers for just a second too long.
You start noticing the way her gaze lingers on you in class, just for a moment longer than anyone else.
She always finds a way to give you thoughtful feedback on your work, and it feels more personal than it should.
It happens late one evening, after you’ve stayed behind to help her organize papers for a conference she’s attending. The room is quiet, the golden glow of the desk lamp casting soft shadows.
“You shouldn’t spend so much time here,” she says, her tone gentle but strained. “People will talk.”
You hesitate before replying. “And if I don’t care about what they say?”
She looks at you then, really looks at you, and for the first time, her composure cracks. “You don’t understand what you’re saying.”
“I do,” you insist, stepping closer. “I think about you all the time, Professor Kang.”
For a moment, there’s only silence. Then, quietly, she admits, “You think I don’t feel the same?”
From that night on, everything changes. You and Sae-byeok begin seeing each other in secret.
She’s cautious, always reminding you of the risks—her career, your future—but she can’t seem to stay away from you.
Late-night study sessions in her office turn into stolen kisses. You text each other under the guise of “academic discussions,” but the messages are laced with longing.
On weekends, she takes you to quiet, out-of-the-way places where no one would recognize her.
Sae-byeok struggles with the morality of it all. She’s your professor, after all, and the power dynamic weighs heavily on her mind.
“You deserve someone who can love you freely,” she says one night, her voice breaking. “Not someone who has to hide you.”
But you refuse to let her go. “I don’t care about any of that. I just want you.”
Eventually, you both agree to keep things discreet until you’re no longer in her class.
The secrecy is thrilling but also exhausting, and it tests your relationship in ways you didn’t expect.
When the semester ends, and you’re no longer her student, she finally lets herself love you without restraint. The first time she takes your hand in public, you feel like you’re floating.
It’s a rainy night, and you’re at her apartment, sitting cross-legged on the couch while she grades papers. The sound of the rain against the windows fills the space, and she looks impossibly soft without her usual professional armor—her hair tied back loosely, reading glasses perched on her nose.
“You’re staring,” she says without looking up, a small smirk tugging at her lips.
“Well, what can I say?” you reply, and she finally glances at you, her eyes warm in a way that makes your chest ache.
Sae-byeok sets the papers aside and leans over, cupping your face in her hands. “You’re impossible,” she murmurs, but the way she kisses you says otherwise.

Hi! I really loved your sangwoo one shot and I had a request: kang saebyeok x reader roommate au where saebyeok comforts her after a breakup/being cheated on? Can have smut or not xx
A/N: Appreciate the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed!
As always, thanks for the request and hope you like it!
Rating: Mature 18+
MINORS DONT INTERACT
Warning(s): Smut, Oral (F! Receiving), Slight Humiliation (If you squint)
Tears streamed down my face as I entered the apartment, expecting it to be empty instead being met by a surprised Saebyeok sitting on the couch, looking over. “What happened?” She asked, a worried expression on her face as she stood up, walking over to me. I struggled to stop crying, letting out sniffles instead. Once she reached me she pulled me towards her, her arms going around my neck. Instinctively, I wrapped mines around her waist, burying my head in her shoulder as I cried. “Take deep breaths.” She said, her hand stroking down my back in an effort to sooth me. I cried as she tried to guide me stop crying, taking her advice and following.
“What happened?” She repeated, slowly moving her head back to look me eye to eye. “I walked in and saw him… saw him-“ I struggled to say the rest, swallowing the cry I had. “He was fucking that bitch he told me not to worry about… Fuck, who knows how long they’ve been together.” I wept, her listening intently. “I should’ve listened to what he said.” I said, loosening my grasp around her shoulders as I shook my head. “I was just so stubborn about what I wanted.” I said to no one, her arms slacking as I babbled on. “I should have-“
“Stop that.” She said sternly, grabbing my chin to stop my shaking, her eyes boring down at me. I took shaky breaths as she kept me there. Her hand went to stroke my cheek, my heart skipping a beat. Her eyes looked sincere as her other stayed around my neck. Her eyes fluttered to my lips, coming back to my eyes. “He lost so much and none of it was your fault.” She said, guiding me to sit on the couch as she knelt before me.
I looked down as she placed her hands gently on my knees. “If I’m being completely honest… I don’t know what you saw in that ass.” She said, making me groan. “This soon?” I replied, her rolling her eyes. "Alright, alright. How about a... 'girls night'? We'll watch movies, eat ice cream and forget about that bastard. You were with him for, what, three months? Known each other even less?" I sniffled, looking down at her hands. "He's not worth the tears." She said, giving a warm expression. After a moment I nodded, clearing my throat before saying, "You're right. It's dumb to cry for him." She smiled before standing up, looking down at me. "Alright. You go pick the movie while I grab the ice cream." She said before marching into the kitchen. I sat there for a moment, letting everything sink in. She's right. Letting him keep affecting me after doing that is letting him win. Well, I could give half a shit about him. Just like he did when he decided to cheat on me. If I want to enjoy myself, I will.
"What movie do you wanna watch?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Both of us sat next to each other on my bed, backs against the headboard as the third movie of the night played. We got into our PJs before our binge watch so that we didn't need to change later. It wasn't our first time having a 'girls night' but it was long since then. My ex-boyfriend was heavily to blame for that. He was good in the beginning...
I let out a deep sigh, shaking my head slightly. "You keep thinking about him." Saebyeok said, seeing her turn her head to me from the corner of my eye. "I told myself I would just enjoy myself and look what I'm doing, thinking about him again." I replied, staring blankly at the screen. We both stayed silent as she kept staring. Suddenly, I felt a tension in the air. I couldn't help as a blush came over my face, grateful for the darkness, and a wetness start to pool. I swallowed, turning to her as her thighs squeezed together before moving, sitting to face me completely as I kept my place.
“I can make you forget.” She said, a hand coming up and grasping my cheek. Her eyes grazed across my body, licking her lips as she brought her gaze back to me. “F-Forget?” I asked. She wasn’t suggesting what she was.. was she? She nodded. "Pleasure is the best way to forget." I let in a shaky breath before nodding, earning a smirk.
I gasped as her lips met mines, giving her a way to move into my mouth. I trembled as her tongue met mines, hands grasping her shoulders as she moved on top of me. I moaned as our tongues moved together, her hands moving down from my cheeks to my shirt, beginning to unbutton it. As we kept our make out going, we slowly removed our clothing. It was complicated taking her tank off without separating but our lips met the second of passed her lips. Soon, she sat on my lap, both of us nude as clothes were thrown who knows where. A hand that was on her waist started moving, one grasping at her breast as I let my thumb graze over her nipple. She moaned as she massaged mines, beginning to move her hips towards mine. I could feel as her hand start to glide down my stomach, chills running down as her hand ghosted on top of my stomach, her light touch intentional as I gasped. I separated from the kiss, instantly attaching themselves to her neck as she moved to widen my legs.
She cursed softly as a fingertip grazed teasingly along my slit, a moan escaping her as I moved onto the next patch of abused skin. I moaned as a finger dove into me, a thumb rubbing against my clit at the same time. She kept it going for a moment before moving a fingertip inside me, judging from my reactions she decided to keep going. "Seeing you with that asshole was a pain." She said. I bit my lip as I felt myself grow more wet at her words, a hand grasping her wrist as she entered another digit. It wasn’t to stop her. I suppose it was to keep her there. I moved my head and captured her lips again, tongues fighting as she kept her movements. I brought my other hand up, massaging her breast. She moaned as my thumb rubbed her nipples, grasping at her breast at times. My other hand started to move further down, a fingertip gliding along her slit. I moaned from the wetness that gathered around my fingertip alone. I groaned as she separated from the kiss, giving a few thrusts before removing her hand. "Is something wrong?" I asked, her smiling at my expression. "Don’t worry, I won't leave you like that." She brought up her fingers, teasingly sticking out her tongue before placing them inside her move. My breath hitched as she kept a sensual gaze, sucking on them clean. She removed them with a pop from her mouth, bringing them to glide against my bottom lip.
“What do you want?” She asked, a finger pushing past my lips. I let in, sucking on her finger. After a moment I stopped, her removing it. “Can you eat me out?” I asked unashamedly, legs spreading to wrap around her waist. She gasped and a pleasured expression came over her as our pussies met, our wetness rubbing against each other. I let me head fall back, her lips attaching themselves to my neck. She bit lightly before straightening again, smirking down at me as she rocked against me. She moaned before moving off of me hurriedly. I used the moment to try to catch my breath, adjusting a pillow under my head. She got comfortable as she spread my legs, my thighs inches away from her head. She kissed along my thighs as she started to move down, hand coming around my thigh to spread my folds. I whined as she looked, smirking as she teased the bud. My heart was jumping out of my chest as I felt her breath ghost against my heated core, my hands grasping the sheets underneath me. "Saebyeok." I moaned as the tip of her tongue glided between my slit, circling lightly around my clit before repeating. Both of her hands rested on the outside of my thighs, digging in her nails lightly as she began to flatten her tongue against me. She pulled my hips further down as she quickened her pace, her tongue entering me teasingly every so often. I moaned, bringing one of my hands up to tease my breast while the other fell on top of her head. I couldn't help closing my eyes as I let her touch take up my mind. Nothing mattered as long as we kept this up. The pleasure meant more right now than anything else and I was going to enjoy it as much as I can. Who knows when I'll have the next chance now that I'm single.
"Fuck." I cursed as she moaned against me, her tongue moving wildly as I realized a warmth was missing from my thigh. Opening my eyes, I looked down. Her eyes met mines as I moved her hair away, her chin and lips shining with wetness as she wrapped her lips around my clit. I grasped her hair as she began to suck harshly, leaning up on my elbow to see where her hand went. With the help of a full length mirror on the wall across the bed, I could see her fingers moving quickly from her clit to her entrance, two digits entering as I saw her wetness start to move down her thighs. She let out a groan against me, sending vibrations that made me yell out. "You look so hot." I whined as I kept my eyes on her reflection, her tongue moving back to continue gliding harshly against me. I assumed she noticed, moaning as she shook her ass lightly, entering a third as her thumb started to move against her clit. My breath hitched as she did so, biting my lip as my hand on her head grabbed harder. "Is this good for you? Having me watch you touch yourself?" I suddenly asked, her eyes widening into surprise. I don't usually talk like that but watching the pleasure she took in it was worth it. She moaned, nodding frantically as she let her tongue enter me, reaching as far as she could as her busy hand started to thrust faster. I moaned before saying, "You should show me more. Maybe we could get a toy or two for you. Ah- you could show it off." She trembled, thrusting her tongue before moving back to quickly latch onto my clit. Her eyes closed, moaning more often as her fingers started to lose pace. "Make me come." Whining, she nodded. Her other hand left my thigh, moving down and entering three digits easily. I was more than ready as she started thrusting deep and quick, moaning and sucking on my clit. My thighs trembled as I let out yell of her name, hand grasping tightly as I struggled to keep my elbow up. Her eyes opened to see me fall apart, sending another jolt of pleasure as she did. She moaned and her eyes fluttered closed, continuing her actions as she came, watching as she shook slightly, fingers slowing down as we both came down from out highs.
I stared as I sat on my bed, watching as she gathered her clothes from around the room. "Thanks for that, by the way." I said awkwardly, her giving a nod. "It was the best I could do." She replied, plucking her underwear from off my dresser. "Things won't be awkward right?" I asked. She turned, giving an odd expression. "Of course not. I didn't regret it. Did you?" She asked. "No! It was amazing! I... I just wanted to make sure we're on the same page." I said nervously. She stayed silent for a second before giving a small laugh. "When you have those two toys ready, come see me." She said, winking before leaving my room, a warm feeling filling my chest.
♡︎ㅤ! 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָstray bunny pt. 01 ⋆⭒˚.⋆
Where Kang Saebyeok is chased by another girl after they were fired from the games.
𖹭.ᐟ Warnings: angst ; fluff ; no callback to the games ; fem! reader
Saebyeok felt the cold pavement against her almost naked body, she cursed the world for the cold night and those damn heartless pink guards; shaking her head and rubbing it a little against the ground, she managed to take off the blindfold. She recognized a little of her surroundings, she had visited that place to steal a few times. She sighed exhaustedly as she tried to untie her hands, the cold was freezing her, and when she finally let go, she smiled a little, untied her feet and before she could get up, a small but sharp squeal startled her.
"Ah, damn cold!" you screamed, feeling your bones suffer from the low temperature.
"Shut up, girl" a cold and somewhat hoarse voice made you shut up a little, still with distrust you raised your chin and managed to sit down.
"Who are you?" you asked in fear.
"Turn around" was an order, cold and clear, you didn't even complain as usual, you just turned around and raised your hands as much as you could. Other cold hands made some contact with your back, making you gasp, you finally felt free and you took off the blindfold, to look at your savior.
"God, thank you!" you smiled so big it hurt, the girl in front of you, with short wavy hair, a look colder than the pavement, beautiful features, full lips... and half naked, you blushed looking down. "Wow, I think I saw you... yes, I saw you!" you said in a shrill tone, you had recognized her by her brave attitude.
"Uhm..." she let out a simple sound.
"I saw how you pulled that man's hair while we were playing, it was amazing! I liked hearing him beg" you carefully untied your feet and started to get dressed, that girl remained silent, you turned around to change "I also saw how they beat you up when we first arrived, and I thought 'this girl is such a troublemaker' I wanted to talk to you but the game started and I couldn't become your friend anymore, I guess it's lucky we met here and-" when you turned around you noticed that that girl was already dressed and was walking a few meters away from you, literally leaving you talking to yourself. You finished getting dressed in a second, and ran after her.
"Stop following me" she muttered, her hands stuffed into her green jacket.
"Uh, I just don't have anywhere to go..." you muttered, running beside her.
"I'm not a fucking babysitter, find your way" her rude and abrupt tone made you reconsider the idea of following her.
"You're right, babysitters are nicer," you huffed as you followed behind her, your little skirt swaying prettily, though it was awful for the weather and you regretted choosing it, though your fuzzy sweater helped.
"Stop it, stop following me," she turned around to look at you, but you just smiled.
"I don't want to. What are you going to do to stop it?" you walked closer, barely reaching her neck. Your mischievous smile disappeared when she pulled a small pocket knife out of her pocket, making you gasp. "Okay, I get it."
The pretty girl kept walking while you sat on a cold bench. She barely walked a few feet before turning back.
"Do you really have nowhere to go?" she muttered, as if she felt obligated.
"No, before I went to the games, I got kicked out of the apartment I was renting," you said, as if it wasn't even a big deal.
"Do you promise to shut up the whole way?" She asked looking at you "I don't want a jumping bunny around me" her aggressive tone made you smile.
"Tsk, I'll try my best" you smiled, putting a hand on your chest, as an oath.
"You'll only stay tonight" she said before walking, without waiting you followed her, like a stray bunny.
Bah, easy promises to break. By the way, at no point along the way you stayed quiet, you were even twice as loud, Saebyeok could only sigh and count numbers in his mind to avoid leaving you abandoned in that place.
They won't be returning to the games. because I really don't want to add angst hhahah, don't worry about it...
Tell me if you want me to mention you in the next chapter! :D
with lots of love and sugar, ika (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
𝓒𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝓞𝐍𝐄: 𝓑𝐞 𝓞𝐮𝐫 𝓖𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭
pairing kang sae-byeok x fem!reader | wc 1.9k
summary -> an unexpected arrival of a little boy and his sister has you working longer than you'd like. warnings -> trying to use y/n as least as possible.
( beneath the quiet masterlist )
8:52PM
𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐃𝐀𝐘 was finally coming to an end. A huff of relief escaped your mouth as you leaned against the cracked wooden door frame of the children's playroom. When you weren't working as a barista at Café Gippeum, you were a helpful extra set of hands around your adoptive mother's orphanage.
You had just gotten off of an early-morning shift, the day dragging on longer than you would've like it too. Usually when you work a few hours at the café it's later in the night, giving you enough time and freedom to handle your tips appropriately when you get off because of your lack of obligations, yet today was different.
Having minimal time to do anything with the tips you earned besides stuffing them in the pocket of your cardigan and gently patting the pocket every now and then to make sure it was still there.
Taking care of children who were in the same position you used to be was a bittersweet feeling. Growing an attachment to them by giving each other nicknames, comforting them in their hardest times, and cherishing the fleeting moments that brought them so much joy and excitement, only to feel like you were losing a sibling of your own when they undoubtedly got adopted. You were happy for them nonetheless, wanting every kid in the orphanage to find a home with caring parents with a cute scruffy animal to go along with it. That's what every kid deserved.
Even as someone who got adopted and wished for that life you couldn't help but envy those who had the full picture perfect family that wasn't simply just for show. Your "Mother" who was once sweet, caring, and attentive had turned vicious, and evil during your prepubescent years. Rarely giving you grace for the mistakes you made and scrutinizing your every move.
She wasn't always like this, nevertheless there were still certain episodes she had where it seemed like a switch flipped inside of her that filled her with visceral rage every time she set her gaze on you. She had become your own personal hellscape, never knowing if she wanted to hug and make amends with you or scream and shout until her voice went hoarse.
She never acted this way in front of the other children, always saving her anger for you behind the scenes and away from prying eyes.
The deep furrow in your brows and downward tug on your lips lifted at the feeling of a gentle tug on the bottom of your skirt. "Miss Kim, can you tuck me in?" a soft voice asked.
Eliana, a chubby little 4-year-old who knew nothing of life outside of the orphanage besides the occasional field trip had become one of your favorites, not that you were supposed to have any. She reminded you so much of yourself in ways your mother despised which is why you liked her so much.
You smiled down at her, holding your hand out for her to grab so she could lead you to her bunk. One of her hands gripped tightly onto three of your fingers while the other made waves with her nightgown, light skips in her step as she babbled on about the bedtime story Mama Kim read.
You hummed to let her know you were listening, even as your eyes trailed over to the foyer in curiosity. Your head tilting to get a better look of your mom with her back turned to you, speaking animatedly to two unfamiliar figures.
One of them being a tall woman, her posture stiff and unmoving, she reeked a sense of resilience and guardedness. Her eyes sharp and unwavering as she analyzed the orphanage, if you didn't know any better you'd assume she worked for Child Protective Services with the way she examined every fixture and crack in the walls.
Her dark hair sloppily pulled back into a low ponytail, wispy bangs resting dangerously close to her eyelids as tousled hair shaped the sharp yet delicate roundness of her face.
Her clothes were simple and worn, fitting her thin frame like an afterthought. The subtle sag in her shoulders didn't go unnoticed either, as she held a firm unrelenting grip on who you assumed to be her little brother's hand.
The little boy who slowly inched himself behind her, held onto one of her hands with the same amount of force. His doe-eyed gaze, less sharp and slightly frantic as he inspected the place that would soon be his temporary home. You've seen children dropped off here multiple times a year, but never by a relative other than the supposed Mom or Dad, nor were they ever so young.
You couldn't be nosey for long, feeling a strong tug on your hand as Eliana dragged you into the 'Girls Quarters' where the rest of them bounced on their beds and brushed each other's hair before laying down for the night.
You loudly clapped your hands two times to give a signal that it was nap time in which the girls quickly scurried to their designated beds, giggling to themselves as they snuggled under the covers.
You let Eliana lead you to her bed, sitting close to the edge as you tucked her in with promises of playing Barbies with her tomorrow morning, a gentle ruffle of her hair to enclose your departure before you made your way out of the girls bedroom, wishing them all a quiet goodnight before turning on the night light and shutting the door.
Another sigh left your lips as you leaned your head against the door, the weight of today slowly lifting off of your shoulders at the simple thought of getting home and being able to soak in the bath after a particularly grueling day.
Just as you started to gather your coat and bag, a shout of your name halted your steps. Turning around you're met with the face of your Mother and the two unfamiliar faces from before.
"I'm so glad I caught you on your way out." Your Mother exclaimed, an excited smile on her face as she sauntered over to you, hooking her arm around yours. "This is my daughter, she's here nearly everyday to help out. So, if you ever need assistance and I'm not here, she's the best alternative." She exclaimed, gesturing to you before lightly bumping her hip into yours at your rigid stillness, giving you the signal to say something and not just stand there like a mannequin.
You opened your mouth to say something but no words wanted to come out, at least nothing worth adding onto your Mothers introduction. "Uh—hi." you awkwardly rasped, a limp wave being sent their way, as you turned your gaze to the ground. Doing everything in your power to avoid the sharp analyzing gaze of the girl accompanied by her little brother, as well as the disappointed side eye of your Mother.
A huff of slight annoyance from your Mother was covered up by a forced laugh before she continued on with her unneeded introduction. "Sweetie, this is Kang Cheol. He's gonna be staying with us for a little while until his sister, Kang Sae-Byeok can support the both of them."
You nodded "I-We're happy to have you here. He'll get the best care-" Before your rehearsed line could gain any type of wind, Sae-Byeok raised her hand to put a stop to it.
"We've had a long night, I just wanna get him settled." She uttered, slowly lowering her hand.
Even as she was berating you without any words besides a sideways glance, you couldn't help but slightly admire her. Her body, the poster board of exhaustion, her stubbornness and will to fight impressive. "And you?" Your Mother suddenly asked as if she was taking the words out of your mouth.
"I'll be fine." She affirmed, grabbing her brother by his shoulders, giving him a reassuring squeeze before gently nudging him in my direction.
Cheol looked over his shoulder at his sister, his steps heavy and hesitant as if he was unsure without her approval. She gave him a final nod, the slight upturn of the corner of her lips a comforting smile to encourage him into your guidance.
With one more final look back, Cheol made his way to you, "Show him to the 'Boys Quarters' dear, Miss Kang and I still have one more thing left to do." Your Mother urged with a gentle pat on your shoulder before gesturing for Sae-Byeok to follow her.
As you walked your separate ways, a particularly rough jab against your shoulder led you to tumble back a bit, not expecting someone of Sae-Byeok's stature to harbor such strength.
You blamed your lack of ability to stand straight on your drowsiness, swiping your hand down your face to awaken the last bits of energy you had left in you so you could properly take care of Cheol.
You lead him to the 'Boys Quarters' reciting the schedule of the orphanage's day-to-day to him, even in your drowsy state you were able to memorize and recite the ever changing schedule of the children's home as if it were the ABC's.
Helping him get settled as quietly as possible to not disturb the already sleeping young boys around him, you helped fold his clothes and put them away, not minding his silence as you went on a small tangent of all the fun activities he'd be able to do here.
Your sentence about 'Movie Night Friday's' dying on the tip of your tongue as you watched him sink into the plushness of the mattress, his eyelids getting heavier and heavier as he lazily dragged the blanket over himself.
You decided then to make your exit, unable to get far as you heard a quiet, raspy call of your name. You turn to see him fighting to keep his eyes open, the top of his head barely peeking over the blanket. You him in question beckoning him to continue. "Will you be here tomorrow when I wake up?" he softly asked, almost seeming unsure of himself.
You nodded in reassurance, "Of course." you murmur in which he simply replied a short "Okay." before fully settling into the bed, his eyes fluttering shut.
As you made your way out of the 'Boys Quarters' an unknowing smile on your face as you shut the door behind you, out of reflex you tap your cardigan pocket, only for a jolt of energy to shoot through you at the sudden flatness that your hand was met with.
"What the hell?" you muttered as you tapped incessantly at your pockets as if it would magically appear after the 10th pat.
You assured yourself that you would've known if it fell out in the boys bedroom, you hadn't been doing any excessive movement to where it could have fallen out.
Retracing your steps back to the art room and then the entrance to see if your money had been laying haphazardly somewhere.
A rush of frustration shot through you before spotting out of the corner of your eye, your Mother and Sae-Byeok discussing the payment for Cheol's stay in the orphanage on the front porch.
A familiar stack of folded ₩10,000 notes were brought out of her pocket and handed over to your Mother as payment. Your jaw going slack and a small huff of laughter escaping your lips out of pure astonishment at the amount of audacity to use the money you had made earlier that morning as a down payment.
Fucking Pick-pocket.
Can you do kang saebyeok with "come over here and make me."?? Pretty please ♡
— pairing saebyeok x fem!reader | wc 0.4k | prompt "come over here and make me." | note AHHH thank you <3
12:24 pm
even with her introverted demeanor, kang saebyeok was still incredibly bold. you had the lovely chance of learning this after you had grown the balls to ask her out, and since that moment on, your girlfriend took every opportunity she got to remind you just how much she had you wrapped around her finger.
like, right now for example. out of all the possible conversation topics, you didn’t want to hear about how jealous you had been when the woman at the cash register eyed saebyeok up and down before taking her coffee order. or, rather, how snappy you had been to the cashier when her gaze reluctantly slid to yours.
“you’re absolutely insufferable, i hope you know that,” you told saebyeok bitterly, avoiding her amused look by turning to face the large window on your left.
she scoffed in her seat across from you, but her smile continued to tug at the corners of her mouth. “people have already told me that. many times.”
you huffed out a breath and turned back to her. “that doesn’t mean you actually have to be insufferable.” there was a beat of silence before you grabbed your drink from the table, smoothing over the warm plastic with a thumb. “and of course i was jealous of her! she’s pretty and kept talking to you—and you entertained the conversation, which you never do. like, ever. so just shut your mouth about the whole thing, okay?”
saebyeok’s grin grew a little wider as she licked her pink lips, sitting back against her chair as she watched you.
part of you thought that her quietness meant compliance, and you counted yourself lucky that she actually listened (for once). but as you went to take a sip of the drink clasped in your hands, she countered with, “come over here and make me then.”
liquid suddenly caught in your throat, you coughed and sputtered into your elbow with widened eyes, trying to process if you had heard her correctly. when you finally cleared your airway, you glanced at her, cheeks flushed. the confidence she wore frightened you a bit, you couldn’t lie, but it also brought goosebumps to your heated skin. mainly because you knew she wasn’t kidding. she may not be very big on pda, but she got handsy when she was jealous, and now that the roles were—for the first time—reversed, you were betting that she liked the idea of you taking an initiative and shutting her up.
when you did nothing but stare at her with large eyes, though, mouth opening and closing like a gaping fish, she sighed through her nose and leaned forward. saebyeok reached over the small table, lifted herself from her chair, and grabbed your chin.
before you could muster up the courage to object, she kissed you. it was quick but strong, and after she pulled back, your noses inches apart, she said, “that’s how you get me to shut my mouth.”
NOWHERE GIRL
PART TEN
kang sae-byeok x fem!reader
synopsis: just when you start to feel closer to Sae-byeok, she tries pushing you away after having doubts of her character.
wc. 3.8k
warnings: alcohol use and surprise surprise angst and comfort
(nowhere girl masterlist)
Recently, Sae-byeok has become quieter if that’s even possible. But this is a different type of quiet. It’s one filled with ease and content even. Although, her worry about not making enough money looms her mind every waking moment, right now she’s a tad less concerned. Maybe tomorrow she’ll have to regain focus, but once she gets off work she’ll have the entire afternoon to ease her anxiety ridden mind.
When you come back from a short shift at the art gallery, you stopped by the convenience store with a bag full of snacks for when you’re hungry at school and for you and Sae-byeok to share whenever you see her.
After last week, you noticed Sae-byeok’s ease towards you whenever you ran into each other as it began happening more often. She’d waved back to you through the window panes inside the bakery shop, subtly ask about your day, and yesterday morning she snuck a croissant that was meant for Yong-sun in your lunch bag while he wasn’t looking.
You eased into her reserved nature as well. Never pushing it when it came to asking her about personal details and accepting her silent responses.
“Got these bag of shrimp chips.” you say when you spot Sae-byeok sit crisscrossed on a plastic chair behind the bakery. You pull the chips out and toss them to her and pull up the astray chair across from her. “Also, soju but only for me—obviously.”
“Bad day?” Sae-byeok asks, opening the bag of chips and shoving a handful in her mouth.
“Guess so. I deal with a lot of high status clients and they’re so pretentious and out of touch I feel like an extraterrestrial whenever I have interact with them. Like today, this teenage child of a chaebol family demanded two of the same paintings and I had to explain to him for ten minutes straight that the artist passed away three years ago.” you sigh and take a swig of you soju before continuing to rant. “Not to mention my professor already assigned us a new big project right after we completed the last one. And I need to do extraordinary with this project after horribly losing the Hangaram prize.”
You never know what goes on in Sae-byeok’s mind whenever you ramble off. Or talk in general. She just keeps eating chips and nodding along to whatever you’re saying. You want to be careful when approaching her like walking on eggshells, however, you do wonder how far can you get to do something out of the ordinary in her routine life.
“You should help me it’ll be fun.” you suggest after careful consideration. A skeptical look expands across her face. “Only if you want to.”
“I’m not an artistic person. I don’t think I’ll be any use to you.” she says flatly.
“Have you ever tried?” you ask slowly, squinting your eyes hoping not to get a feisty reaction from her.
“I guess not.” she responds. “What are you planning on doing?”
You clear your throat hoping she didn’t catch the smile that was about to bloom your lips. But you couldn’t help the giddiness brewing in your stomach that she was actually going along with this.
“Um, well the project is called urban sketching. Basically, it’s painting a specific urban area. It sounds easy but it can get complicated since there are twenty of us in that class and the chances of us drawing a similar location is pretty high. I want to find the perfect unique place.”
Sae-byeok doesn’t seem convinced. “I doubt I can help you.”
You slouch on the chair in disappointment. “Awe. Come on, have you ever stumbled upon a place that you thought was cool?”
She stops digging in the bag of chips and thought to herself, before nodding no. That’s when you tell yourself not to prod her any further and let this conversation die out.
“Have you seen, Yen-ho, around your school lately?” she asks suddenly.
“No, actually.” you hum. “I think he got banned from the property from what I heard. I hope it’s true. Why?”
Sae-byeok puffs out a air of hesitation. She debated telling you the truth for a while, wondering if you’ll quickly rise to panic. But maybe the soju you were drowning on will ease your reaction. This worry has been eating Sae-byeok alive, she needed to tell someone.
“Him and his dad are looking for me.”
“What?” you murmur. “W—Why?”
“I used to work for his dad before I went rogue on him.” she explains and doesn’t think it’s wise to add further details.
“Do you think they’ll keep their word?” you ask and Sae-byeok nods. “Fuck.”
“Yeah. But hey—listen to me carefully.” she says in a threatening manner. You pause your drinking and look at her with wide frightened eyes. “Don’t tell another living soul I told you this. Especially not, Ji-yeong. Okay?”
“I won’t…” you say lowly.
She maintains a close eye on you, trying to read your body language until her phone alarm started ringing. It was time for her to go back to work. She claps her hands to wipe the chip crust on her fingers and throws you the half eaten bag before heading back to the kitchen.
You don’t know how much longer you can be around this mysterious girl anymore.
✿・・───・・✦・・───・・✿
After doing some research, you found a place called Ihwa mural village that you heard about a while back but never got the chance to see. To you, it sounds like the perfect and unique place to get inspiration for your upcoming project. So, you decide to check it out during sunset hours to get a picture perfect scenery.
You thrown on a light brown jacket you bought last week at a thrift shop and triple check to see if all the drawing utilities are in your tote bag before heading out the door. Luckily, the mural village is only a few train stops away from you and by the time you arrive, the number of tourist and visitors should dwindle.
After a ten minute walk, the first mural you came across was the koi fish staircases. You grab your phone and carefully snap pictures, trying to find a perfect angle that has the sunset reflecting down the koi fish stairs. As beautiful as it was, it felt wrong to step in them so you trudge forward hoping to find a hidden gem.
Most of the walls in this village were covered in mural art. And you particularly liked the simple animal murals as they resembled child drawings but clearly done by adults. There were also a lot murals that told a sequence of stories—one of them covered three buildings that will take you a longer time admiring and studying.
There were a few people admiring the large murals with you, but it felt like it was just you and the art alone.
Until your peace was disturbed when you spot someone staring straight at your profile a little too long. The sketchbook and pen on your hands dropped and your shoulders slumped when you meet face to face with, Park Yoon.
“Hey—“
“Fuck off, Yoon.” you groan, slamming your sketchbook hard and shove it back in your bag.
Just when you were getting an influx of inspiration, of course it had to be ruined by her. You used to be so good at hiding your disappointment and anger to appease the ones you wanted to keep close. But you are at a point in your life where you can’t hide your true intentions anymore. Your outburst clearly shocked Yoon since her eyes grew wide in bewilderment. You even shocked yourself for being so straightforward.
“Shit. You’re here for the next project too?” she asks, genuinely taken aback.
“Yeah, but you beat me to it…Just like that Hangaram prize.” you mutter the last sentence underneath your breath.
You toss over your hoodie and check the map on your phone to figure out how to get out of this mural labyrinth.
“Don’t leave because of me.” she says, lowering your phone so you can look at her. She smiles in her known poised fashion, her lip gloss blinding you. “Why don’t you hang out with us?”
“Us?”
“Yeah, Hyunji and Chaeun are on their way they’re just stopping to get soju. They’ll bring enough for us to have two bottles for ourselves and then we are going to have a little photoshoot. It’ll be fun!”
You press your lips into a thin line, putting thought into her invitation. If she asked you three months ago, you’d merrily tag along—probably go help the other girls buy more soju too. But now it feels wrong to be around the people you used to call friends.
If Yoon is inviting you though, could she have possibly overcome the disdains she felt towards your sexuality? You study her facial expression carefully, seeing if you can see any signs of ill-intent.
Maybe, deep down you’re so desperate to fit in with them again that your brain refuses to see the signs or she is actually being genuine towards you.
“Only because I made the journey here.” you say quietly.
Yoon claps cheerfully and starts leading you by the small of your back up a set of painted flowers staircases, claiming that she found a beautiful mural she wants to use for her project.
“It looks just like my living room I have that exact same couch!” she explains point at the painting of a living room with a long blue sofa and a bookshelf above it. “My ex—not Yen-ho the guy before remember?—he bought me the couch after his trip to Italy. I thought about throwing it out after breaking up but it’s a perfectly good couch I was just so—“
“What’s the deal with your recent ex?” you interrupt, your mind going back to earlier today when you spoke to Sae-byeok and her threat. It’s not like you will mention her to Yoon though…
“Uh…What?” she lets out a nervous laugh and slowly starts walking away.
“I’m not going to judge you. I just think his dad is going to be after…” you trail off. A shiver goes down your spine, it’s like you can feel Sae-byeok sharp eyes on you.
Yoon does the same thing you did to her earlier, study your face. Eventually, she just sighs in defeat because she knows you aren’t going to let this conversation die.
“I didn’t know about his past at first. He hid it all from me but not very well. Three months after dating I began seeing some signs. A lot of signs actually—he really sucked had hiding things. And he always mentioned how much he hated his dad especially when he got drunk.”
“Is his father a criminal or something?”
“He’s more than just a criminal. He is a leader of a gang. And Yen-ho was—no is a part of it.”
Your eyebrows furrow. Suddenly the pieces you collected of Sae-byeok’s life start forming into a solved puzzle.
“He won’t come looking for you anymore though.“ Yoon assures you.
“How can you be sure of that?”
“You don’t remember?” she frowns. “I went to stop him from hurting you the day I texted him to leave you alone. My father is a very big donor to the school so security is going to be extra vigilant on him.”
You pull on the strings of your hoodie, feeling extra vulnerable. “But security can’t protect me when I’m not on campus.” you murmur.
Silence hits you both. You don’t want to speak and Yoon is hesitant to find the right words to say as she knows she can’t help you beyond school property. She would’ve reached her hands to touch your shoulder if you both didn’t hear hysterical laughter at the end of the block.
Lee Hyunji and Im Chaeun, your other old friends, reveal themselves coming around the corner with a bag of soju bottles in their hands. They briefly exchange skeptical glances when they saw you before covering it with a cheery facade.
“Hey, I didn’t know you were coming?” Hyunji’s squeaky voice chimes beside you.
“She arrived here before I did we didn’t plan it out but now we are. Right?” Yoon says, nudging you.
“We got enough soju to pass around.” Chaeun shrugs and hands you a bottle.
What was going to be an enriching experience visiting the mural village became a drunken stupor with the girls that ditched you at your lowest period. After finishing half the bottle, you are filled with resentment and shame for even being around them.
While they skipped around and pointed out murals they found hilarious you followed behind them like a rag doll, a dreadful discarded one.
At some point, you’re sitting on a curb on the opposite end of where the girls are, who having a photo shoot behind an angel wing mural. That’s when you pop open your second bottle of soju. The you who was in denial of being a lesbian back then would have loved to join in with them.
At this time, the sun was long gone and all visitors besides the four of you have also left. The art was ideceptable in the darkness, so you had to basically stare at a dark wall while preparing yourself to drown in more alcohol.
Then the weird sensation of goosebumps trailing down your arms came and you wonder if it’s the alcohol in your system. That is when you hear footsteps, so you look up to see a tall hooded figure emerge from the top of the staircase. For some reason, you thought it was that familiar cold faced girl who happens to work at a bakery.
“This is so weird I think I’m seeing things.” you laugh to yourself and take your first sip of your second round of soju.
You expected the passerby to keep on walking, but instead they stood in front of you, their shadow casting darkness over you.
You throw yourself backwards, almost spilling contents of your alcohol when you saw it was Sae-byeok with her usual stoic demeanor.
“You’re actually here?” you gasp.
“Yong-sun mentioned you were going to be here. I always wanted to visit the Ihwa murals.” she says. “I’ll look around by myself since you got company.”
“No, I don’t—not really.” you admit, as shameful as it is. “I ran into them and I think they just want me to tag along because they look at me like I’m some wounded puppy.”
Sae-byeok’s tired eyes look between the distanced classmates and you then lets out a sigh. She sinks down beside you in the sidewalk, her hands classically stuffed in the pockets of her jacket.
“I told you to look after yourself and you’re here up late.” you say.
“I told Miss Ahn I’m taking the day off tomorrow.”
You give me a sincere smile, not expecting to hear “day off” come out of Sae-byeok’s mouth. “That’s good.”
She nervously shoots glances at you. “Do you have school tomorrow?” she asks after momentary silence.
“And work.” you add.
Although Sae-byeok went silent briefly as she normally does, it was the stillness in her body movement that spoke volumes. She felt regret.
“I shouldn’t have taken that money from you.” she whispers.
“Stop.” you whine, throwing your head back to face the night sky. “I can handle pity from those girls but not from you. Besides, I prefer being busy nowadays it keeps my mind at bay.”
“Didn’t you complain to me about your job earlier?”
“Everyone complains about their job.” you roll your eyes.
The girls roaring laughter died down just then. You watch them inspect each others pictures taken in their phones. Then Chaeun points to something in the distance and the rest all follow suit, forgetting that you were supposed to be there with them. Unknowingly, your face becomes crestfallen at the second silent betrayal from your classmates.
You should’ve known what you were risking being around them, but you can’t control the swelling in your chest by how hurt you felt. Maybe a small part of you hoped that things would’ve gotten better.
“Sae-byeok, are we friends?” you blurt out. You aren’t sure if it was the bit of alcohol in you system or the desire not to feel alone right now that spoke for you.
“I don’t know.” she admits plainly, fidgeting with her hands. “We barely know each other to consider each other friends.”
“Yeah.” you mutter. “I want to but…”
“But?”
“We have this sort of push and pull thing going on and I’m confused.”
She finally looks directly into your eyes and you can finally see her face underneath the street light that illuminated her. Your breath hitches by the proximity of her face close to yours.
“I know you wouldn’t want to be my friend if you knew everything.”
“I sort of do. Bits and pieces of them.” you say and she shakes her head in disbelief. “You and Cheol are defectors and you joined Yen-ho’s fathers gang to earn some income before you—“
Sae-byeok snatched your bottle of soju before you could finish talking.
“Hey, watch it, you drunk.” she spat. She gets up from the pavement ledge and you quickly follow suit.
You don’t know why you said it when you knew from the start that she wouldn’t like hearing it. Maybe you’re finally tired of receiving her mixed emotions. But you must’ve opened up a fresh wound, because she took a large swig from your drink.
“Sae-byeok—“
“You don’t get it do you? After you figured it out, you really don’t get it?” she removes her hoodie in a frustrated manner and gets closer to your face. So close that you can smell the alcohol she consumed. “I’m not the good person you credit me to be. And if you get too close to me bad things will start happening to you. I took your money when you clearly needed it and now you have a target on your back with a gang because you’re affiliated with me.”
“No, you don’t get it!” you retort, poking her roughly in the chest making her stumble back slightly. “There’s a difference between a bad person and a person who did bad things. If you were truly a bad person you wouldn’t have left that gang to overwork yourself at a fucking bakery to raise your little brother.”
Before you could see her reacting, you turn around to catch your breath. Sae-byeok’s enigmatic energy is something you don’t think you can handle anymore.
To make matters worse, Yoon’s horrible timing struck again when she leaps in front of you, her cheeks rosy from the alcohol. She grabs you by your shoulders to balance herself. “Found you! Oh, hey aren’t you that girl that fought off my ex?”
You didn’t Sae-byeok was still here, assuming she stormed off in a heat of rage. But you heard her scoffing.
“Woah, wait—did I interrupt something?” Yoon points at you and her, dumbstruck.
You slap her finger out of your face. “I’m leaving it’s getting late.” you announce, brushing past Yoon.
“No, I’m sorry if I did I’m seriously not judging whatsoever!”
“Bye, Yoona!” you say sarcastically, hoping she gets the hint to back off.
A part of you wishes to be alone to process the heated conversation you just had with Sae-byeok but another other part of you was hoping she was only a few feet away. When you got into the subway station, you whip your head back and saw Sae-byeok stand there—guarded as ever. Your cheeks dust a light pink at the heaviness of her stare on your figure.
When you slide your metro card to go through the turnstile, you were ready to hand over Sae-byeok your card until she swiftly pulls one out and passes through.
The rest of the journey home was quiet as it always is when Sae-byeok is around. Her stop is after yours, but she got off with you and there was no energy left in your body to question her behavior so you let her get her way.
It’s not until you walk up the stairs to your apartment when she stands still. Curiously, you peek to see if her eyes still had that tension in them but no. She just looks tired.
“Thanks for walking me home.” you say, still sulking. “Bye.”
“I know we did kind things for each other but other than that I don’t get why you want to get close to someone like me.” Sae-byeok admits in one breath. Like she was holding these thoughts the entire journey here.
You let go of the doorknob and face her fully. For once, you towered over her since she was still standing two stair flights away from you.
“Someone like you?” you question her, puzzled.
“At the end of the day, I’m still a criminal no matter how good my intentions are.”
Those words felt like a hit to your stomach. You don’t speak right away, thinking carefully of your word choices.
“Sae-byeok, there are people in this world who do cruel and inhumane things for money and power. They laugh and mock people like us while they do the same criminal acts. The only difference is they have the money to get away with it…You’re a good person, okay?”
Sae-byeok doesn’t look away from you this time. A small unsuspecting smile crept on her chapped lips. However, her intense gaze was too much for you and you peer down at your feet—your blush reaching up to your ears now.
A tiny folded piece of paper enters your field of view making your eyebrows furrow. “What’s this?”
“My phone number.” Sae-byeok says like it’s nothing. “You know, since we’re friends now.”
You slowly take the piece of paper, looking dumbfounded when you heard her say the word friends.
“Have a good night.”
“Night.” you mumble, hiding the smile that appeared soon after you unfolded the paper. You wait for her to leave the walk-up before entering your studio.
After removing your shoes by the door, the first thing you did was fall face first on your pillows and whine loudly. Your head was pounding, you still felt woozy from the alcohol, and you aren’t sure when will be a good time to text Sae-byeok if ever.
night walks
IT'S LATE but cold outside. walking with saebyeok makes it even better.
----
SAEBYEOK and you walked peacefully together as the cool autumn breeze swept through the area and autumn leaves danced while falling gracefully on patches of grass or cold concrete. light shone down from a full moon shining dim white rays, darkness replacing the once brightly lit world from the warm sun.
there was a sense of peace and you could hear all those things in the background. chatter muffles as you cross the street past people sitting on the benches near the bus stop, the chirping of crickets, always reminding you of late walks like these, and doorbells ring as customers enter the warmly lit cafes.
what made it even better was the fact that saebyeok was by your side. she may not say anything, but having her in your presence was enough━the silence was enough. it wasn't an awkward silence━no. it was a comforting silence, one that made you feel safe and blissful. you walk together with your own thoughts, and so does she. sure, saebyeok was frankly an awfully awkward person, but that just made you adore her more━if that was even possible.
the way she would randomly stare at you even though it was quite obvious you could see she was. when she made small remarks with her same bored demeanor━not cheesy, but nice ones.
despite her lack of emotion as she said them, you knew the amount of emotion pouring through her brain and how much she loved and cared for you. it didn't come out with words━but somehow, she's made it clear to you it's still there. by giving you small gifts here and there, or just spending memorable moments like these that you would think about all the time. having trouble expressing her feelings and not being so open as you were with her, saebyeok hoped they showed you how much you meant to her.
your eyes were captivated by the tall girl's features on the side of her face as you just stared admiringly. the faint freckles scattered on the bridge of her nose. her short but slightly unkept black hair framed her face, how she looked down at her feet like she was thinking━with her hands stuffed in the pocket of her dark green jacket. who knew if she was thinking about the same things you were━who knew if she was all flustered over you like you were for her.
she lifts her head and fixes her gaze on you instead of her shoes when she sees the fog from your breath exiting into the cold air in her direction.
there was a look of longing in her eyes, almost as if she was waiting for a response from you━but you didn't say anything.
despite giving her a small smile, she keeps the same expression on her face.
"what?" she asked breathily. she found herself always saying the same thing during these times when it was just the two of you. you would stare at her and when she caught you in the act, you'd just smile.
"if only you knew how wonderful you looked right now," you replied in awe, but slight playfulness hung on your statement as she hated your sweet remarks, which always made her try to conceal a smile and not know what to say while on the inside, you knew she enjoyed.
saebyeok quickly turned her gaze back to the ground and you swore you could see the small tug upon her lips behind her messy hair that covered the side of her face.
you turn and lean forward so you can see her whole face, only to see the faint red tainted across her cheeks.
a smile tugs upon your lips from the small act. "no way, are you blushing?" you teased earning a scoff from your girlfriend.
"what, no."
"did i just get the hardcore and total badass kang saebyeok to blush?"
"no. it's the cold." she quickly said in a flat tone, putting her hands back in the pockets of her jacket.
you chuckle at that, "well if you're cold, hold my hand."
she pauses for a moment, looking down at your extended arm in her direction before linking her pinky with yours━her special way of holding your hand, and you see the smallest smile form upon her lips which made your heart flutter from the rare gesture. she didn't mind holding your hand, secretly enjoying the small contact and touch of your soft one against hers.
walking back to your apartment, the two of you were once again silent. it was the same comforting one as before, but now you were both thinking about one another.
