Airplane time!

Sprx sometimes plays with Kaminari by doing airplanes. She might be a little bigger than him, but he does it for her regardless. It's something that has to be transferred over to Chiro when she gets too big, though, but he does it as long as he can because he knows his little girl loves it.

I still think canon deku should be a surprise big poodle but I love your dogku with his little eyebrows and shaggy coat and think he is the correct choice for the doggy version of how you draw your best goodest boy.

To expand on my ancient boku no doggo academia thoughts,

Kaminari - Papillon (please imagine the ear fluff all staticky)

Jirou - Scottish Terrier (sleek black coat, big perky ears)

Ashido - Bichon Frise (apricot coat, cute black eyes)

Sero - Basenji (black and white, natch)

Kirishima - Tibetan Mastiff (red, he is a huge dog friendly with all the medium to little dogs heeehehehehehe)

What if Koda was the only human like he is the human star of a muppet movie except instead of muppets it’s dogs and he is the only one who understands what they are saying

Kamideku: Sinatra by Forrest Nolan. EASILY. it just has the proper vibes. and the lyrics??? its so perfect for them. the whole- "liked by everyone loved only by each other" trope thing they have going on is pretty much perfectly summed up in this one song. its easily the only option

Kamisero: I Wanna Be Yours by Arctic Monkeys. the straightforwardness of the song is what would make Kami choose it. something that Sero is probably familiar with and would appreciate the message of just wanting to be there for him. the overall "i wanna be there for you" energy of the song is what makes it resonate so well

Todokami: Cherry Wine by grentperez. Kami just feels that the message of wanting to bring his crush out of their comfort zone a bit is how he feels with Todoroki. and it just works bc it perfectly displays the feelings of "i wanna show you a good time even if thats the only time you grant me"

Tokokami: Necromancer by Joy Again. it just SCREAMS unnecessary division due to who we are around other people. Kami is loud while Tokoyami is quiet. it perfectly explains the "admiring from afar" aspect. their only times together are when they both decide to pull away from others to truly enjoy each other. that or the hc that Kaminari travels a lot bc of his family and he mostly keeps in touch with Tokoyami

Kirikami: Smithereens by Twenty One Pilots. Kami would pick this one bc he knows Kiri would do the same for him. the whole song is talking about wanting to protect and love someone. so it appeals in that aspect. the way of thinking "youd sacrifice yourself for me so i want you to know that id do the same for you" fits with them specifically very well

Kamijirou: Apricot Princes by Rex Orange County. this one is a bit different than the others on the account that it's about caring for someone while also seeking reassurance that this person cares as well. this just fits their dynamic very well imo

Shinkami: I Don't Wanna Be Okay Without You by Charlie Burg. this one i cant really explain? but this song talks a lot about having someone on your mind. so i think it fits them very well. also the slowness and sincerity of the song would be smth Shinsou would appreciate

Bakukami: Never Knew I Needed by Ne-Yo. this song is really about how life changing the subject of the lyrics is. it fits their canon relationship very well bc of how much it talks about meeting not being the original plan. Bakugo is always throwing Kaminari head first into different situations and it's something Kami has learned to love about him. this song just captures them together PERFECTLY.

Kamioji: Pyjama Pants by Cavetown. this song would be the choice bc of how they interact. Kaminari is always clinging onto Ojirou and his tail. so this song would be the way of expressing how much of a comforting presence Ojirou is to Kami and how much he wants to be the same presence in return

Kamiida/kamimomo: Pretty Boy by The Neighbourhood. this song works for either of them bc its about someone being a grounding person. its about how even in the midst of extreme danger that the subject of attraction makes everything feel ok. this applies to both Momo and Iida bc of how they handle things and therefore make Kami feel protected :)

Tokoyami headcanons

Tokoyami is such a weird and interesting character so here's a couple hc's I've got about him since I love him a lot

When he was about 7 he was really into doing shadow puppets. He stopped after he realized Dark Shadow couldn't join in too.

The reason he loves apples so much is bc he watched Death Note in middle school and decided that Dark Shadow was basically his shinigami (yes I had to google that to make sure I spelled it right)

His mom doesn't think wearing so much black is healthy, so all his undies and pj's are pastel (and he secretly loves it)

He stole his mom's nail polish once and had dark red nails for about a month

He tried using Dark Shadow as an umbrella once. Neither of them were happy w how it turned out

When he was little-- before dark shadow manifested-- he used to pull out his feathers when he was really stressed or scared. His mom told him he'd look like a Christmas goose if he kept it up.

When he was a little older-- after dark shadow manifested-- he would wear big sweaters and pull his hands in the sleeves sometimes. Dark shadow would hold his hand when he was upset.

Tokoyami sleeps w a nightlight to keep dark shadow quiet. Also, sometimes the things in his room freak him out a bit at night.

He smells like apricots bc he accidentally took his mom's shampoo to the dorms and was too lazy to go out and buy some more.

After playing the zelda game Twilight Princess, he tried to see if he could get Dark Shadow to change shape. This later inspired his Ultimate Move

He's a big fan of comedy and sometimes he'll play like,,, MCR or some emo shit over his speakers but will be listening to bo burnham w his headphones bc he's gotta keep up appearances yknow?

He actually loves trail mix like almost too much. When Kirishima and Kaminari found out they left him bags of trail mix and sunflower seeds outside of his door. He loves them.

He loves going for walks at dawn, but brings an umbrella so Dark Shadow can be comfy and talk to him

Sure, he was treating them to drinks after another successful villain take-down, but this was almost too much. They weren’t having a drinking contest, to his awareness. Todoroki thought he’d better stay sober, though, if this was going to happen. Someone needed to be able to get him home, after all. Plus, the more Kaminari drank, the more he reminded him of when he set off a high-voltage charge, frying his own brain to the point of sheer stupidity. At least they were out of costume, so they weren’t nearly as recognizable as pro heroes.

“You’d think that your quirk killed off enough brain cells...” Todoroki said, shaking his head. “Make sure you drink plenty of water, okay?” He sure wasn’t going to be the one to deal with a hangover, and he didn’t envy the one Kaminari was bound to get, either.

Because of living with and being raised by six people (Chiro, Antauri, Otto, Gibson, Sprx, and Nova), it's inevitable that the kids would pick up some things from and take after them.

Peridot is vegetarian like Antauri and she refuses to swear, not even once. She also ends up being like Jinmay in terms of sewing and being the seamstress of the bunch.

Magma is definitely like Nova in a few ways; anger issues that he needs to work on, the color of his fur becomes darker or brighter depending on his emotions, and of course his fire. Everyone still jokes about Magma being Nova's biological son instead of Sprx's or Antauri's to this day and he just rolls with it. Oh, and having similar weapons to Nova, that's definitely one of the ways of him being very much like her.

Soma takes after Otto in terms of being creative. He might be a monkey of science and the supernatural, but he loves to draw and paint. He also tends to be similar to Chiro when it comes to shows and gets pretty damn passionate and excited about them, even getting some merch when he can.

Diamond is a big eater like Otto and she's willing to eat just about anything. Say it's an all you can eat buffet, and you bet your ass she and Otto will go through it within a few minutes. …She won't touch Antauri's smoothies though, healthy or not that's the last thing she'd ever touch.

Astral is very much a gamer. While the others have played video games and liked them, both parents and kids, Astral takes more after Chiro in that aspect. If they're not going out for anything history or antique or even retro things to get, you're very likely able to get him outside by saying that you'll go to the arcade. Just don't expect him to play DDR lol

Emerald can be extremely jealous, similarly to how Sprx and Nova can be. Although since she's semi verbal, her jealousy is more quiet and she'll be clingy and overprotective, as if to say that girl is hers and hers alone.

Marino could possibly be seen as similar to Sprx in the sense of keeping things down rather than being open about it, e.g. being Marino wondering if he's doing a good job as a brother, worried about being the one to hurt his family rather than protect them like he should (especially with Marino's worst fear of being just like Mandarin), etc.

Kaminari absolutely loves plushies. She collects them right along Nova, even in her teen years, though she's more open about liking them than Nova would be.

There's probably more examples I ain't thinking of right now, but in a big family like that, it's not like they wouldn't be similar to their non biological parentals in some way.

Community - 9. Where is your character's comfort place?

Kaminari has a little tree hideout that she likes to go to. If she's feeling upset, and she can't exactly go to Marino or anyone else, she goes there. Everyone knows about it so if they can't find Kaminari in the Super Robot or with Jinmay and Slingshot, she's likely there.

With the decuplets, I'm gonna go from oldest to youngest.

Diamond wouldn't say she has a "comfort place," but she prefers being in her study. Her room, her rules, she has complete utter control. She just needs a regular size fridge and she'll be a happy camper lol. Well I guess in that case, actually, any place with food is a comfort place

Marino likes being in the garden. If he's not away on Halloween, it's a place where he relaxes. It takes away the world just for a little while, even if he worries about his siblings some.

Soma's comfort place is his art room. While it's mostly used for him to draw and paint without being interrupted, he typically uses it to relax and calm down. Read some books and poems, draw something nice, anything to comfort himself and put his emotions into something productive. If he's not there, then he's likely on top of the Super Robot in the rain.

Magma's comfort places are the training room and the kitchen. He gets his anger out through training (thus why he'd seem buffer than the others) or baking something, and everybody gets something nice in the end. Just as long as he doesn't get interrupted during either or lol then we good there

Aero's comfort place isn't really a place per se, but whenever he's out flying. I won't go into too much detail, I'm pretty sure I did that already, but it makes him feel free and happy. It's something that makes him feel genuinely happy, smile, he loves doing it. Any negative emotions he feels are gone during all of that.

Jazzkie's comfort place is anywhere with comedy, like a stand up comedy show or wherever she can like watch any local comedians. It makes her feel at home and, in the process, she'd support comedians and take some notes from the ones she likes. Plus, if it's something new to her, she can always take what she sees there and try it at home.

Peridot's comfort place is usually her sewing room. Going out to buy materials works as well, feeling more at ease when she does so. Just… don't let her be alone when she goes out to shop lol, like have Emerald or somebody else with her to keep an eye on her. That leads us to,

Emerald. Her comfort place isn't exactly a place, but wherever Peridot is, she's comfortable and she feels safe. She will not step outside of that comfort zone, period end of story lmao

Dactyle's is the general study. They like to read and learn, what can you expect? They might also be in the garden to look at the flowers and everything, it's nice too.

Finally, Astral. He likes being in the living room or the decuplets' bedroom, those are the places he's most comfortable at and where he's likely to be found. Just a usual routine, I suppose. Jungles too, since those remind him of his boyfriend, if he's not already there with Greg.

Some is probably expected, but those are their comfort places!
