Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, celebrated for his breakout role as MC Sher in the hit film Gully Boy, marked 5 years since the movie's release in a heartwarming and nostalgic manner. Taking to social media on Wednesday, Siddhant shared a series of throwback pictures from the sets of the film, evoking fond memories of his journey with co-stars and director Zoya Akhtar.

In the post, Siddhant Chaturvedi shared camaraderie with his fellow actors, including Ranveer Singh, Vijay Varma, Kalki Koechlin, and director Zoya Akhtar. The images offered glimpses into the behind-the-scenes moments and bonding experiences that characterized the making of Gully Boy. Accompanying the pictures was a simple caption that read, “I was born this day. Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar, captivated audiences with its portrayal of Mumbai's underground rap scene and garnered widespread acclaim for its performances, direction, and music. Siddhant's portrayal of MC Sher, a mentor figure to the protagonist played by Ranveer Singh, earned him accolades and catapulted him into the spotlight.

Siddhant was last seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan which was directed by newcomer Arjun Varain Singh, who also co-wrote it with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The film chronicles the lives of three twenty-something friends, Imaad (Siddhant Chaturvedi), Ahana (Ananya Panday) and Neil (Adarsh Gourav), as they explore the digital world and support one another in their search for authenticity amidst their virtual lives. Produced by Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and Tiger Baby’s Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, the film explored the complexities of online existence as a young adult.
