Sakumo being a super popular borderline sex symbol in his era will never stop being my favorite hc, I need to see more of it

All the people his age and younger had a crush on him. It was just a Thing(tm) where 9 times out of 10, a Konoha shinobi's first crush was probably Sakumo. Even other villages young shinobi hung up his bingo book picture above their bunk and dreamed of both killing him, being killed by him (in a hot way), having a battlefield fling with him, and more. There was blackmarket fanfiction. He was incredibly popular among civilians all over fire country. Some popular romance novels had love interests very blatantly based off him.

Even before they were on a team together, Obito and Rin both had a silly kid crush on Kakashi's dad (Obito more than Rin) and he was aware of it. This did not help make him like them any more. (By the time hearing smthn positive ab his dad would have made Kakashi softer, they'd both gotten better at hiding the crush, so to Kakashi it looked like they'd gotten over Sakumo.) Even Minato had a bit of a thing for him, not really but like— strong, popular, feard and very friendly ninja who is now paying him some attention (bc hes his kids teacher) he's not immune. Kushina understands, she is also not immune. (Kakashi is going to throw a fucking fit)

Even after his failed mission, when his reputation crashes and burns within the village, he still can't completely shake his admirers— they possibly just get more disrespectful ab the attraction when it mixes with the hate. (Which tbh could make for an interesting discussion all on its own)

Kakashi is haunted by his father's insane popularity for decades after his death. He does his very best to ignore the lingering evidence of people being insane ab his father.

One day he realizes one of his favorite romance novels has a romance interest based off Sakumo and has a break down ab it and can never read the series again.

When raiding an old abandoned enemy camp w Team Ro, he finds an old, autographed photo of his dad covered in lipstick marks in the communal bathroom. He chooses to ignore it but it's quickly spotted by his teammates, who do not know who Sakumk is, and v quickly begin to remark on the poster, who this mysterious Konoha nin is, and ahaha damn he is kinda good looking, huh? (Kakashi wants to DIE)

Shisui ends up taking the poster back to Konoha with them and hangs it up in the ANBU communal quarters where it is VERY quickly recognized. And also some of the people in that room recognize it so quick bc they also used to own a similar poster. (Kakashi wants to DIE someone PLEASE kill him now)

Its only when he's given team 7 that he finally thinks he's escaped the legacy of his father as Konoha's Most Sexiest Shinobi. Only for Naruto, when being trained by Jiriyah, to find his drafts for Icha Icha very clearly inspired by his dad. Which he can never publish for multiple reasons (lingering respect for Sakumo. Also for Kakashi, who is his biggest fan and would probably never look at him again.)

Naruto somehow accidentally brings this up with Kakashi who like. Has war flashbacks and immediatley stands up and walks away as Jiryah scrambles to try to explain himself and Tsunade looks on in scorn (she will approach him later to carefully ask for the drafts while trying to seem like she's not really asking for them bc she's too proud to admit it)

Naruto and Sakura discover Kakashi-sensei's dad was a sex symbol. I don't even know how they'd react but like. Oh my god. Oh my god you guys.

Funniest option would be they accidentally revive his popularity a little bit by being so loud ab it they like, remind people ab him. + introduce another generation to the idea of him

Sasuke does not escape tho, he goes to sound and finds a picture of Sensei's dad in Orochimaru's office (???????)

Itachi, who learned who Sakumo was from that poster thing, goes on to find a photo of him in ""Madara's"" belongings and gets super weirded out but ultimately doesn't. Super care. But also. Like. What. What.

After Itachi finds the photo, which Obito genuinley forgot he fucking had and keeps in part just bc its like one of the only belongings that remained from his Konoha days, he shoves it somewhere in Kamui to forget about.

But then in the Obito vs Kakashi Kamui fight, it fucking flutters down in the middle of the fight and Obito fucking dies of humiliation as Kakashi realizes he will truly Never Escape and that this reality is his own personal hell

Uhh endgame Kakashi becomes Hokage and accidentally retreads his father's path in becoming the new Konoha Sexy Man. Which simultaneously crushes him (he will never escape) and fills him with delight (he will now be able to impart the pain of having your father figure be lusted after by all ur friends and acquaintances onto his students)

Shisui was one of Akami's first childhood friends and later her first lil love. She goes w Shisui to meet Sasuke when she’s 13yr, he’s only a few weeks old but the second she holds him and his chubby baby hand swipes her chin she falls in love. Bc of her relationship with Shisui Akami spends more and more time around Sasuke— he’d be tagging along after the big kids, but she always made time for him. Even if it was 20 extra minutes before a mission or after a long day of training, she’d hide her injuries and play with him instead. She’s one of many Anbu called to the scene the night of the Uchiha massacre. The second she found him all alone she knew she was taking him home and she quit Anbu that night.  Akami never felt heard or seen as a child so she tries her best to make sure that Sasuke has a voice. She didn’t intend to take on a parental role; it just happened over the years. She’s always open about his family and ready to listen when he confides in her, she teaches him every single uchiha jutsu she knows (and eventually kakashi does too) so Sasuke can still feel connected to his Clan. She gets him through his nightmares and defends him tooth and nail, she teaches him how to cook and use a sword. No matter what, he's always gonna be her baby and she’ll be his Kami-chan. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for him.  Akami and Kakashi knew each other as kids, they did not get along until their traumas sort of forced them to see eye to eye and rely on each other.  But it wasn’t a friendship until their early-mid teens, even then it always felt like more. Shortly after she takes in Sasuke they start a tumultuous FWB only to realize they very obviously love each other. Sasuke approves bc Kakashi makes Akami happy and is always there for her (for better or worse) and Kakashi and Sasuke start to have a very meaningful connection well before he becomes his sensei.  Yes parent squad ! Sasuke deserves the world and I love that you love him too!!<3 In ATLA Akami would be a water bender, she’s a descendant of the Yuki clan so it just seems fitting for her heritage! Tho I’d be wary of her healing abilities, she’s more of a fighter and I would not put it past her to learn how to blood bend! (She was Anbu Root for a reason💀)  Sasuke is fire bb! Kakashi I go back and forth on but I think he would be fire too .I love love love love ATLA and have tried to make an au for her but I find it hard to imagine Akami interacting w the gang (They all just feel so young lol- though she’d probably like Suki and Zuko best) I think that she would get along really well with Piandao! June, Jet and Iroh too. She’d def feel some sort of kinship for Azula (ruthless + manipulative never taught to love, w similar mommy and daddy issues!🤝lol) Yes Yes! as a human i think his signature color would be green, rather than red. i also believe bdubs and etho would have a 'balance each other out' type of relationship. one could compare it moirails (which are not exclusively platonic, i should say,) mostly due to how they equalize and also im including their marriage-divorce-marriage debacle. kind-of want to give him a stick specibus of some sort just to cuck him.

as a TROLL.. i considered making him a limeblood; not for anything super important other than the theory of that caste having a high emotional charge over others and he's just a beloved guy ykw.. in the art referenced he's an oliveblood due to being particularly capable but not inherently power-influenced. a hybrid might be the most appropriate position for him but i haven't decided!

as a troll i figure his presentation to be either be like a chameleon (e.g wearing colors not belonging to his respective class) or hemo-anonymous (wearing no clothes with sigil or indicative color) there's definitely a part of me that would consider him someone to end up being a helmsman (with the clockers) or mage (with team best originally) i think he ultimately is apathetic towards his position whichever way i put him. i'm not sure what the redstone equivalent would be in the hs universe but i see him as having the power to utilize telekinesis at least. ..someone with psionnics but can be difficult. maybe his sylladex should have sth to do w/ crafting or sand. ..i'm not sure how i feel about people drawing etho as a highblood.

as a HUMAN.. in the mini doodle included in the art i changed his design so his off eye is covered by a bang. (i don't think as a human he'd have a damaged eye, even tho his skin is kakashi) i altered his outfit to be more reserved versus the troll design which has some of his midsection exposed.

as a troll.. i mentioned in the image that i made him purple rather than indigo. wanted to add a point saying he'd likely be an active slime consumer and would lash out in moments of sobriety (i'm just trying to reflect when skizz entered red and had mentioned smelling blood, and being typically more aggro, etc) he's also assigned purple to reflect his obsession w/ brotherhood (seen in team best) and/or companionship (his part in the dogwarts war) as far as indigo goes.. indigo would be fitting primarily cuz its often to being boiled down to 'strong person' but ALSO generally being loyal to the caste system. (unrelated to his blood, i think he'd have some kind of fisticuffs specibus)

as a HUMAN!! i actually haven't put too much thought into this. the way he hams up himself as a 'character' definitely seems more align w/ being a troll. alas. unnecessary thoughts.

as a human.. as said, i didn't draw a troll version of tango to respect that him drawn with horns bothers him a bit. think his outfit would be similar to jades, that being long sleeve shirt and skirt.. or maybe a labcoat. either or. think he'd have a interest in tech and would have some kind of annoying moustrap-type sylladex. (like the stupid board[?] game) i think he'd be.. maybe the most competent at understanding the game than everyone else. i also think he's petty. (said because of the 'team t' thing) i ALSO think he'd be the most likely to be turned into a sprite for the same reason in parenthesis.

as a TROLL.. it feels easy to make him a psionnic, lets be real. in team best at least it makes sense to me (bdubs w/ his respective gold partner and tango w/ his respective other partner ykw) i FEEEEEEL like he's best (har) as a low to mid blood caste.

What do you think about the moments where naruto gets so freaked out over gay stuff (first kiss, the konohamaru sexy justsu, kurama mentioning he kissed sasuke during war arc). A lot of people show this as proof of him being straight and disgusted by gay people lol but I don't think too much of it because being gay is only mentioned as a joke and there's no positive representation. Naruto seems like he's panicking tho he freaks out a little too much. But then does the reverse harem jutsu 🤭

The first kiss really is something you could see in your average romance manga to be honest, many pairs accidentally do something embarrassing while they still dislike each other. These are two middle school boys who pretend to dislike each other, of course they’re going to react like that. Not to mention everyone is around them.

I also think things involving Sai might be different, because Naruto since the beginning disliked the idea of Sai replacing Sasuke. So it might be disturbing to see them like that. In general I wouldn’t want to see any of my friends being portrayed like that... Naruto was also okay and flustered with Sasuke feeding him but not when Sai tried to do it! He gets distracted and dazed when Sasuke touches him or when they stare at each other! He also tried to backtrack when he made the comment about Sasuke being better looking/cooler than Sai.

Overall the stuff doesn’t bother me and I just see it as something learned, it happens in real life as well. One time I asked a homophobic guy why he says the things he says, and I managed to make him think. He had just been so used to everyone saying those things and it being the norm and what’s expected behavior. The thing with Naruto is he says one thing and does another. The Kurama thing is especially funny because they never made a big deal about the kiss afterwards but suddenly Naruto is so over the top about it. It’s way less embarrassing than all the cheesy stuff he has said to Sasuke or done for his sake. Same with Kakashi, “I’m starting to like you” is really innocent, meanwhile Naruto is going all Shakespeare on Sasuke and doesn’t seem to realize it (or does he?). I have always assumed it’s not something that’s accepted and Naruto, subconsciously or not, does his best to fit in since he wants acceptance.

And indeed, he really just had to mention he practiced reverse harem in secret and more than rasengan. How practical was that, when he doesn’t even fight female opponents often?

(I wrote the first paragraphs because my first lines alone don’t make much sense lol)

1- ACQUIESCENCE (Minato/Itachi) my first fic ever. darkish but just a little, angsty. I’m proud of it cause another author wrote a sequel to it.

 to ac·qui·esce: to accept, agree, or allow something to happen by staying silent or by not arguing. A flurry of leaves, swept away by the autumn wind, caught the Hokage's attention while he took off his large hat. That time of the year should have been warmer.

2- THE WILL OF FIRE (Shiita, Danzo/Shisui, Danzo/Itachi) This was dark and shiita fans didn’t like it lol.

 Just like his owner, Danzo's studio was dark and dusty. The man didn't look as old as Hiruzen, but he was twice as scary; thus would think a boy of Itachi's age. Not him. He was not allowed to be afraid.

3- WHAT HE WANTED (Itasasu) Even tho I rewrote it cause I didn’t like how I initially characterized them and their dynamics this is my most popular fic. Maybe because it’s a post-ending, canon divergent, fix-it kind of story. Maybe because it’s Itasasu and I put so much love into writing their dynamics and, also, in giving Sasuke a good ending since canon didn’t do him justice.

Sasuke is where everybody wants him to be: in Konoha. With the battle and the arm he also lost the urge to fight. He's had enough of traveling. He's tired of chasing and being chased. So tired that even if he meant every word about starting a revolution, being the Hokage and build a new era, he had wondered, though only for a moment, if he would be able to really accomplish such tasks all by himself.

4- IN POWER WE ENTRUST THE LOVE ADVOCATED (Itasasu) THis is my second most popular fic. This one too was written after the ending and tried to give Sasuke justice. I planned to write a sequel but I got busy with other projects and lost interest in it.

The gates open, letting the shinobi in after a successfully completed mission. Being on duty the following day Sasuke declines his team mates' proposal to have dinner together, the reddish sunset light forcing him to squint as he walks towards the Hokage's office.

5- PRESSURE (Itasasu) Taken from In Power that can be read as a standalone oneshot.

Itachi wakes up to the sound of pouring water.

6- IN DREAMS (Itasasu, Izuna/Sasuke, DARKFIC). This is one of the darkest things I wrote. The Izuna/Sasuke crackpair was for @admiral-izusasu. The plot, the dynamics, everything has a double, or triple reading, plot related and metaphorical for other, real-life issues such as knowing people online, and emotional abuse from narcissistic people. I wrote it when I was fighting against one of these psychos, on tumblr itself, so this fic has a personal meaning for me. But also the plot and the canon divergent ending thing is cool, I think it’s one of my best fics, even though I coulnd’t care less about izuna.

They say that nature will always find a way. After the end of the war flowers keep blooming like nothing happened even if the light is fainter, filtered from the tall branches of the Shinju tree, now grown into a forest spread all over the world.

7- SOMBER CREATION PALE DESTRUCTION (Madara/Sasuke dom/sub-ish). Darkish? Who knows, I write darkfish stuff all the time. I was (and am) very proud of this fic, the canon divergent turn it took (who am I kidding, it’s really cool lol) and the weird relationship/dynamics these 2 created. So I didn’t update it anymore, because doing so would break their thin balance. Ssssh, don’t tell me it doesn’t make sense, I don’t believe you xD

History teaches that Madara Uchiha died at the hands of Hashirama Senju. Their statues were erected in the Valley Of The End where their battle was fought, where the shinobi god ended his best friend's life in order to protect the village they founded together. No one knows that Madara didn't die there.

8- IN THE DARK (kakashi/Sasuke, mob/Sasuke noncon). This is a very dark oneshot that I’m proud of, cause it ‘explains’ canon Sasuke personality in Shinden and later, and that I use as prequel for many fics, like WHW but also OFAF and Broken Things (see later for both).

Things never went as Sasuke wanted. After the war it's no different, although everything seems fine at first, Team 7 finally at peace with each other, the war ended and the village that Itachi protected, even as a dead man, safe. Nevertheless he is arrested when he's still in the hospital.

9- VICTIMS OF PEACE (Shisui/Sasuke dom/sub-ish) I am so proud of this fic, of its non massacre universe, of the dark-ish slow burn relationship between Shisui and Sasuke I wrote, tentatively at first cause no one did it or thought much about it, and because that non massacre filler was bad, but still it was inspiration. I know shiita fans hated me even more for this cause shisui is only paired with itachi, and also itachi/itasasu fans were disappointed but still. This is maybe the fic I’m most proud of.

If a traveler arrived from a random village in the Fire Country he would certainly notice how different Konoha was. He would not be able to pinpoint exactly why at first, because the buildings, houses and shops are similar, just like their gardens, fields and animals. Only after some thought he would understand that the difference is in their people: other villagers are relaxed and casual, even loud. Children run around the streets, chasing each other, playing tag or hide-and-seek. Their fathers bring them presents and their mothers buy them new clothes.

10- OF FEATHERS AND FANGS (DARK Narusasu) I received a lot of hate for this one, which makes me proud of it even more. so many naruto stans were butthurt by my characterization of him as a possessive not sunshine selfless boy and their dynamics as crazy.

Jiraiya used to complain that the first sign of getting old was waking up at night for no reason and not being able to fall back asleep. For Naruto, this only happened after the war.

11- BLACK ROSES (Itasasu, dom/sub-ish) Smutty Bloody Darky Hokage Itachi/Anbu Sasuke oneshot

Because of his farsighted politics, his loyalty towards his allies as well as his iron fist against his enemies, Itachi quickly became one of the most respected leaders in the shinobi world, and because of his unequaled diplomatic skills, along with his vast culture, impeccable manners and refined appearance, he became popular among nobles, including the Daimyo, whose official visits increased since the Uchiha rose to power.

12- NELL’IPOTESI GRANDE (=IN THE BIG HYPOTHESIS) (MetaMoro, not Naruto) I’m very proud of this one cause it’s a psycho-pass inspired longfic set in a retrofuturistic Italy with a totalitarian consumeristic regime. But that fandom is so shitty and they all hate me cause I called them homophobic fascists so no one cares. The excerpt is translated too.

He’s reminded of Pirandello’s* words as he’s riding the automatic taxi across the city, exiting the center towards EUR. COmpared to Milan with its skyscrapers, multilevel streets, automatic cars and incessant novelties, the capital is basically the same as it was portrayed in old illustrations: renaissance and 20th century buildings, seagulls, pines among the Roman ruins, sycamore trees on the Lungotevere, that was probably already busy with traffic when people travelled on horse carriages. (*an Italian writer)

13- DA UOMO A UOMO, MANO NELLA MANO (from man to man, hand in hand) (Metamoro) lol I was hated a lot for this one too. tbh the hate I received in the Naruto fandom is nothing compared to this other shitty fandom

For an artist like Fabrizio, mainly focused on expressing what he has inside, public relations are the hardest part of his job, especially when it’s about events where, instead of fans, of whom he perceives the sincere affection, other artists and professionals are invited. His experience taught him that most of them are hypocrites ready to jump on the winner’s bandwagon as quickly as to throw mud at the loser.

14- STRENGTH THROUGH WOUNDING (wip) (Obito/Sasuke, Obito/Itachi, dark.-ish) 

There is something nostalgic in the eerie way the boy's screams resonate through the dark cavern-like hideout, their pain bouncing from one curved wall to another, their anguish filling their crevices. It’s like hearing his past self from an external perspective, like Madara did. Which is fitting, for Obito is Madara now.

15- WORDS UNSAID (wip) (Kakashi/Sasuke) 

A black flame that cannot be extinguished: they had been warned about Amaterasu by Jiraiya, but seeing it was impressive nevertheless. The whole area was surrounded by black flames and the rain pouring hard could nothing against it. They found Sasuke there, surrounded, imprisoned by black flames that were extinguishing themselves, so they found a breach.

16- BLEEDING ME (Metamoro vampire/priest darkfic) No one can understand this in the Naruto fandom but it’s an AU interpretation of the Da UOMO A UOMO character dynamics where one is an emotional vampire-like person. I’m very proud of this fic tbh.

According to folk stories the forest was so big and full of dangers that God himself put a church where it ended, so that its priest would protect the people living nearby. It was a small, white building that didn’t match the typical stones and wood brownish ones of that region, with no stained glass windows or fancy columns, spires or gargoyles, only crosses with skulls and bones, and an engraving in an unknown language.

17- WILD CHILD (Metamoro cop/drug dealer AU). At this point I hate that fandom so much but I like my ideas and I write only for my girl whom I met in that very shitty fandom.

Everything seems bigger in children’s eyes. Like the playground in the courtyard of the church, with its slides and swings that for Ermal’s siblings were the setting of countless imaginary adventures which they told him in detail, enthusiastically interrupting each other, when he picked them up after school.

18- TRUE COLORS (Itasasu, dark, dom/sub) By now I’m only interested in writing dark IS and I enjoyed writing this one lol

19- OF FEATHERS AND FANGS 2: TO REPAIR WITH GOLD (Dark Narusasu). Cause I didn’t piss off NS fans enough I guess? lol this is ongoing and I like this idea so much

It's a rainy day in Konoha but no one seems to notice. Everyone is focused on the Hokage delivering his eulogy.

20- BROKEN THINGS (Shisui/Sasuke) My latest creation, I’m so proud of it cause it’s Shisasu again, my rarepair! and it was supposed to be a oneshot but it got longer because they have such a cool dynamic that things just happen and get longer.

In the Land of Water summers were hot and damp, autumn and spring were damp for the frequent rains and winter was no less, with its cold temperature and ubiquitous dampness. It wasn't a problem for Sasuke though.

27. What are your views on reader x canon ships?

So, funny story; aka the background of how I discovered fanfiction was a thing without knowing fanfiction was a thing.

Back in the day, there was this website called “elibs.” Basically, it was a site filled with adlib stories (the ones where there’s a story/joke written out, and you have to pick an adjective/verb/noun/colour/etc to fill in the blanks before you read the story. Then the site would fill in the blanks with the words you chose and pop out a silly sounding story, because none of the choices you made fit with what was going on).

I was in grade 5 when my friends and I found that site, and we would send the best ones to each other during library period, when we were supposed to be researching stuff lol. But what that site also had was a bunch of original and fanfic stories, where the blanks would be your name, hair/eye/skin colour, age, height, whatever. All just blank so that the character in the story was actually you. They were mostly still written in third person, tho some of them were in second person. My friends and I ate them up. It was so cool getting to be a character in an amazing story. In fact, the first thing I wrote and published was a Harry Potter reader insert fic that I posted on that website. I was 11. It was terrible. I loved it haha.

(There was a lot of self-insert porn on that website too. No regulations meant lots and lots of dirty stuff that you would stumble upon. Of course my friends and I all shared those with each other lol. It was so taboo! And we just giggled over them—even read them together, switching out the names so we could laugh at who was having sex next. All in library class. Idk how we were never caught. I can’t see doing that now. Like there’s this taboo about watching/reading porn platonically lol. But as 11 year olds (and even until we left middle school and split up) it was just funny... and then hormones kicked in and it became a way to discuss sex. Maybe we were too young for it, idk, but I remember it fondly).

Then after that, this site called “quizilla” got big, and all their stories were reader x character fics. So of course we all moved on to that.

I didn’t find out that what I was doing was actually called “fanfiction” until grade 7, when another friend introduced me to FFN. That’s when I started reading canon x canon fics. Reader fics we’re not allowed on FFN I believe, only OCs.

Now I still read reader x canon fics, mostly for the nostalgia of how I first found fanfiction, and because I find that reading stories in second person are really relaxing. Plus why not? You all know I have a crush on Kakashi and Shisui and Hawks lol. You think I’m not gonna do something about it???

The only time I find reader x canon fics to be a turnoff is when the author explicitly states “the reader is me but you can imagine yourself there too,” because then that feels too personal. Like I’m reading about your relationship with someone as opposed to some nameless character. Nothing wrong with writing yourself into a fic, just when I know it’s you I’m like “this feels like voyeurism.” If you wrote it as yourself and never told me I’d never know and it would be cool haha!

Plus, the first “daydreams” I had about stories always were like, “what would it be like if I could be in this story.” So I totally get why you’d want to and why people enjoy it. Idk why people find it cringey; like, it’s totally normal to want to be a part of something you love. I’ve loved so many worlds so much more than reality. I guess people find the romance to be “lame” but like, why? What’s more lame about liking a fictional character than having a celebrity crush? It’s not like you really know the celebrity, you know only what they show you. At least with a character you can say you know who they are completely. And those kind of crushes—fictional and celebrity—are a safe way of having and exploring romantic feelings. You go get your fictional crush, babies. I support you.

29. Do you like OCs (Original Characters)?

OCs are not inherently enjoyable or unenjoyable, it depends on the character, just like with canon characters. I’ve written several OCs, I’ve written OC x Canon fics, and I’ll probably continue to do so, if I feel the story I want to tell needs it. I have two different OC x Kakashi stories I’ve worked on, one I’m gonna scrap because I wrote it like right after the Pein arc and I feel that it doesn’t really work with the rest of Naruto in mind (tho I still like the OC lol), and the other is an ABO fic where I’m exploring what it means to be dominant and submissive, as well as gender roles. It didn’t work with any Canon x Kakashi pairing I could think of, so I made an OC. (This fic is dif than the ABO!KakaSaku fic im working on lol don’t worry).

I like reading stories with OCs so long as I like the OC—same as I like reading about Canon characters so long as I like the canon character. The OCs I dislike tend to have like, really horrible, depressing backstories where their families all died or they were abused or they’re currently depressed, just because they’re so angsty and I can’t read angst like that. Or they just seem kind of cliché. Nothing against people who write those characters, I totally get why you would and I respect you for it, but I just don’t enjoy reading about them.

But as to if OCs are an immediate turn off, the answer is a resounding “No.” Good writers make good OCs, it’s as simple as that. But even a good writer can make an OC you don’t like, because people have different preferences.

And well, every character is technically an original character, lol!
