Ay wassup, I got some voice claims for some Kaiju. This is part 1 of a Kaiju voice claim series and probably will be the only one until I find some suitable voices for other Kaiju.
Main reason Monster X is here is because I don't have a voice claim for King Ghidorah yet, especially for each head.

Well, this was the planned end but someone asked for Biollante. Anyone want another monster in one style or the other? I'm not really tied down to doing both for everything, I just thought it might be a more interesting gimmick than imitating so many others. Going for something like "just 'hero' Titanosaurus" or "Just 'horror' Orga" is fine.
“Hero-verse” King Ghidorah
Mostly just Showa Ghidorah as a cartoon, the main deviations are his tail clubs being more ornate and less naturalistic and each head is sporting a goatee because of that facial hair's history with evil characters. His horns are a bit more curved and his eyes an obviously evil red. Essentially the show's fictional character designers and animators opted not to mess with a classic much. He does have a tendency to travel by flying low not unlike his boss battle form in Godzilla: Monster of Monsters and was often animated as though he were a highly ornamental snake crawling about.
The old days of 65 episode syndicated television presented a challenge to cartoons of the day, not the least of which was the inevitability of repetitive plots. That's ok, it's for kids, plenty will say. However the show runners were fond of Ghidorah and his reputation as a planetary destroyer in the first movie and they wanted to avoid Ghidorah becoming another Cobra Commander, Megatron, or Skeletor figure. Unfortunately making him a bit of a scheming snake with a tendency to provoke or trick a monster of the week actually made things worse a while. Ghidorah was very notoriously as strong as the script that week needed him to be in the events he did fight, so however strong or weak someone wants to say he was, they have at least an episode to point to for evidence.
“Horror-verse” Kaiser Ghidorah
Ghidorah is a pretty creature so I can't really externally mess him up and keep him Ghidorah, so he's more broken on the inside. The horror of him comes from hurt sentient creatures spreading that hurt around. Kaiser Ghidorah isn't the only quadrupedal Ghidorah but he might be the most well known and is the one depicted as something of an upgrade over classic Ghidorah so I consider that to be the base of this monster design. The main problem with Kaiser was that he was a more ugly and less grandiose appearance than is generally associated with Ghidorah so he's been made to look a lot more like Shin Ghidorah overall with a massive set of something close to his classic wings added to give him the wingspan that Final Wars Ghidorah lacked. He didn't quite fit on the paper I drew him on but I decided to let him be cut off, like he's the one thing that's too big to capture all at once.
An ancient creature that burned down the civilization of its home-world some time far in the past he was discovered by the invasion force that had arrived to take the planet but found it unnecessary for them to do any attacking of the post-apocalyptic world. So the space empire took the killer creature with them to help them destroy other worlds. That was a few space empires ago. Kaiser Ghidorah seems to go along with the biggest fishes destructive plans but eventually reveals he was something like a great white shark kept on a dog leash the whole time. Whether he grows bored, his supposed masters get too overbearing, or whatever reason, the story has played out many times. Each space alien tried to twist Ghidorah to their own ends and imbue it with powers they valued, which did have the effect of increasing the creatures power but also cracked the creature's damaged psyche even more.
Ghidorah seems to be able to unleash any horrible demise space can unleash, whether it's crushing or ripping apart with gravity, super powered lightning, simple exposure to the void, frying by cosmic radiation, or whatever else, but Ghidorah also seems to have no control over which power it's about to use. The creature seems entirely fine with this as long as something dies. It seems to express glee with random twisting of its heads coupled with a giggle like ringing bells. The behavior can leave the creature open to counter-attack but it is incredibly durable. More or less immune to weaponry even the option of throwing Godzilla at it proved to be more of a holding action while earth defenses gathered a large enough group of other monsters.

Ok Godzilla fan brainrot moment?
I think there's a lot of untapped potential in depicting Ghidorah as anything other than a wyvern. His name says he's supposed to be a hydra, so that's why he's always depicted as a three-headed monster, but the most consistent depiction of him has two hind legs and two wings, like a traditional wyvern.
Pretty much all the monsters in the original Showa era movies have some sort of vaguely humanoid shape so they could be suits worn by a single actor, even though Ghidorah had to be puppeteered by several more people outside of the costume. I assume his original body shape was partly chosen for the sake of practicality, since giving him four legs plus wings would have made the acting even harder to coordinate.
However, the recent american depiction of the character even had him looking more wyvern-ish and animalistic, using his wings as forelegs to walk at times. Normally, his characterization as an animal/monster controlled by a higher power wouldn't clash with this creative choice, but in that movie (King of the Monsters) he's the actual controlling force. Not a big deal, but it's a curious evolution.

I'm not an expert in old folklore, but at least in modern media, both classic western (four legs plus wings) and eastern (serpentine, typically smaller limbs and no wings) dragons are usually depicted as more intelligent and powerful than wyverns (who I believe weren't even able to breathe fire traditionally?) so I thought that would be an easy next step for the character.
Don't get me wrong, it's been done before. Not that long ago, I thought The Planet Eater chose to go for a more eastern-looking form for the guy, since he's seemingly depicted as some sort of multi-dimensional snake with several heads and we only saw his traditional silhouette in a sort of dream.

But not only did I find this promising beyond-human-comprehension threat disappointing in its execution, turns out he's actually the same he's ever been. That dream wasn't just a reference for fans, it's how he actually looks, confirmed by merchandise and concept art. Shame. The chinese long Ghidorah well is officially left unexploited.
However, there have been a couple of four-legged, european style depictions. The first one is the overlooked and underappreciated Death Ghidorah/Desghidorah from Rebirth of Mothra. He looks absolutely incredible, exactly as threatening as his name implies.

The one "however" to this is... it's canonically a different character, a relative of the original King. Very close, but as I said, it's an obscure character that only made one film appearance and gets very little attention.
The second one I remember is Kaiser/Keizer Ghidorah, the true form of Monster X, seen in Final Wars, as a proper last opponent in an all-out anniversary movie. He's pretty much everything I just said I want to see.

You could argue that with a different name comes a different character, the wiki certainly treats him as such, and Ghidorah never had this Monster X, held-back form. The closest thing were the Heisei era Dorats that mutate into Ghidorah, obviously a much different thing. As for myself, I think he's perfect. A concept I want to see coming back in the future, just like Mechagodzilla finds ways to keep coming back in very different contexts.
I guess that's the point of this kinda long post. I got caught in the thought that, despite being Godzilla's arch-nemesis, the final boss of the franchise, despite all the decades of film-making and storytelling, there's still so much room for growth and re-imaginings. Pretty cool stuff I think.

This is a way better Kaiser Ghidorah design than the one that's actually in Godzilla Final Wars

Recently watched some of the pachinko godzilla vs eva cutscenes and like, theres an eva godzilla hybrid but no angel ghidorah hybrid? wanted to fix that with a fun take of my own :)

I took a lot of liberties from desghidorah, destoroyah, Super godzilla and and motaro to give Hsien-Ko's body a more powerful and monstrous form having her legs and entire lower torso be replaced with a lower torso of a bulkier quadrupedal monstrosity. Her legs are also based around destoroyah's given the fact the feet possessed ten jagged sharp claw toes as for the large wings? Another liberty from kaiser ghidorah having her to adapt to flight. The bone spikes on her shoulders and that chest plate on her chest is definitely inspired by super godzilla where godzilla taken a super form which just so happen to be inspired by spacegodzilla. Yes the game came out a YEAR before the movie was released. I like giving Hsien-Ko's new form a divine mixed with beauty and all the more body horror. While also having give her a evangelion ultraman vibe.

Dragons Are Awesome

What makes a dragon more awesome? Add MORE DRAGON!

This is the essence of what makes King Ghidorah so amazing. He’s based on a monster familiar to even non-Kaiju fans who can look at him and go, “Oh hey, that’s a dragon!” Yet, he’s still distinctly his own beast. He’s also the monster I consider to be the ultimate foe in the Godzilla universe. Not just for Godzilla, but for all of the monsters. After all it took the combined efforts of Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra to defeat him in his first appearance.

And then Rodan And Godzilla after he became the pawn of the Xillians in Invasion of the Astro-Monster a.k.a. Godzilla vs. Monster Zero.

And then EVERYONE basically curb stomped him in the future year 1999 during Destroy All Monsters. Still, he was still the ultimate foe in that film.

He was a bit less impressive in 1972′s Godzilla vs. Gigan where he got to play second fiddle to another monster for the first time.

After that, aside from stock footage appearances, we didn’t see the King again until his new origin as a time travel terrorist weapon in 1991′s Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah.

Then, when he came back again to more or less something like his Showa self, he was Mothra’s ultimate foe in the third film of her trilogy.

When next we saw him, he took the ultimate turn to be a heroic defender of the Earth fighting a decidedly evil Godzilla in 2002′s Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack.

That’s not even talking about the related monsters such as Death Ghidorah (Desu Ghidorah) from the first of the Heisei Mothra movies. I love the design of this monster!

Kaiser Ghidorah from Godzilla Final Wars who’s design I do not like at all.
And Mecha King Ghidorah who is just as awesome as that name implies.

Heck, he’s even been a living gravitational anomaly that doesn’t really exist in normal reality as we know it!

And now this year, we get a new version of the wicked Space Dragon in the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters and I cannot wait.

TT Draws the Godzilla Gang Part 6
Welp, that covers all the daikaiju in the Godzilla gang who comes from film, which means we’re a bit more than a quarter of the way done! Huzzah!
I was worried about the background titans from Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) because there is no good art of them I can find to use as a reference, but then I remembered that I’m taking a lot of liberties with these anyway so, y’know, fuck it let’s just have fun.

I just realize I haven't done a full body showing of their designs....and I wanted to redo them cause I wasn't really satisfied with most of them. Original: https://www.deviantart.com/fallenangel5414/art/PC-The-Dark-Hunters-586551813 So. Megalon...He had the worst design before the redo. Especially the colors, they were so bad. So I was inspired by Steampunk outfits for this, AND I'M So Happy With It!!! Irys is still the same, redid her color of her hair and tweaked it a bit. For Gigan I just added new stuff and tweaked the color in his hair. Monster X I redid almost everything on him. I felt like he didn't have his Iconic Bone like armour and made him give off more dragon like. Megalon, Gigan, and Monster X (c) Toho Hyper Gyaos(Irys) (c) Daiei

Another commish for my cousin. Of course, he wanted Kaiser Ghidorah in two different colors, akin to my Trendmasters Kaiju pieces. Gotta say, this was a fun challenge. I've been getting more comfortable making the flats have gradients to them. Adds more life to the figure.
I'll be honest, Kaiser Ghidorah isn't one of my favorite kaiju, but there is something charming about him. I certainly like how massive he is, and his heads being different designs is dynamic. Maybe it's the pantomime design of the suit used in FINAL WARS, but there is something horse-like about it, like he's the combination of a centaur and a pegasus, but shaped like a dragon.
At the very least, I've got a better appreciation for him.
And it just occurred to me that his second color scheme is almost reminiscent of Monster X. My cousin wanted him to be black, akin to the TM King Ghidorah piece, but I spiced it up with some "silver" areas to build a bit more of a separation between the two.

So Hsien-Ko in her current form walks like a centaur basically?
A combination of both a centaur and Kaiser ghidorah. I took a lot of liberties from both Kaiser and a komodo dragon
