I’m going back into my Kaiju phase chat. . . NOW STAY W ME IN THIS PPLS!! Hybrid Space Godzilla!Satoru + Hybrid Slattern!Suguru X Human!Reader au fanfic. I like tried using kaiju characters that would suit Satoru and Suguru cause like it all about the cannonness, but please suggest any characters that would suit them more or like suggest what you guys want reader to be more. I personally chose Space Godzilla and Slattern because they are known as one of the strongest Kaiju characters and Satoru and Suguru are the STRONGEST, but i don’t know if I should choose between Space Godzilla or just Godzilla for Satoru. And also their abilities makes personal sense to the two in my opinion!!

Should I also make the fic part of the Kaiju verse or not part of the verse where nobody knows about Kaiju n shit and make it seperate?? And should I make it where Satoru and Suguru can transform into their true form like into the Kaiju beasts or should they just stay as a hybrid, also I feel like I should make Reader like a scientist fresh out of university or in university. . . In an almost canon universe where the only difference is that it is omegaverse, Pat is an omega, and Pran is an alpha. And during one of his heats, Pat is at home, and decides to ask Pran for a shirt with his scent to help with his heat. But instead, he asks Pran for help in other ways. Fic where the porn IS the plot, everything is super consensual, and sexy and hot. Alternating POV, so on Pran’s pov we get to see all the pining.

February - 

If Never Again, If Every Day by gallifreyburning and takiki16 (The Old Guard)

This fic was wonderful from beginning to end. For reasons, 2021 Nicky goes back in time to Jerusalem and his first death at Yusuf's hands. Meanwhile, 1099 Nicolò goes forward in time to 2021 and meets Joe. It's heartbreaking and loving and funny and so full of love. Nicky and Joe miss each other even when around their younger versions. But the love they feel for each other is stronger than that. Wonderful story, happy ending.

March - 

Wooing the Water Tribe by lenaballena (ATLA) @dameferre

Sokka has been living in the Fire Nation as Zuko's second in power and his best friend and everything. When Katara comes to visit, Sokka thinks Zuku is courting her. And he realizes he is also in love with his best friend. Lots of pining. There's absolutely no courting of Katara. It's also really funny. My heart broke for Sokka at some moments.

April - 

The Grand Unified Theory of Shen Qingqiu by 00janeblonde (SVSSS)

WIP - This story is all fluff and no angst, like the tags say, slice of life and it's wonderful. SQQ dies at Maigu Ridge, and is offered to acquire the Game Plus, where he can go back to the past with his cultivation and memory intact, and try again. Doing that he discovers that he is actually the real Shen Jiu reincarnated, and he can try to recover memory markers to be able to restart the "game" even before than when he first "transmigrated". His friendship with YQY becomes strong, LQG also becomes his friend (it's really sweet how he wants his friends back). Everything is very soft. Absolutely great teacher SQQ.

May - 

but for me, there is a storm by Authoress (Haikyuu!!) by @kiribakus

An epic pacific rim au. Hinata and Kageyama are both cadets who want to be Jaeger pilots, but they cannot get along. So they work really hard because they are their last hope to pilot a one of a kind Jaeger - a Kaiju/Machine hybrid. They solve their problems in the beginning (and then later they have more problems). Hinata and Kageyama are not the only main characters, other characters are also very important and have their own storyline and pov. This story is heartbreaking as well. There's MCD, and it made me cry so hard I got puffy eyes. It's a wonderful read, and very well written.

June - 

The UA Analyst Kid by RogueVector (BNHA)

Izuku meets the UA teachers before getting OFA and they see how good his analysis is, so they start to train him (together with some other heroes). But some things don't change and Izuku still meets All Might and gets offered OFA. This story is funny, sweet and with amazing relationships. Izuku is OP with his intelligence and training. All the teachers and heroes are so supportive and good. A really feel good story.

July - 

Deku? I think he’s some pro… by Clouds (BNHA)

After All Might told Izuku he can't be a hero, he finds himself in a forum used by some underground heroes and offers his analysis to them, since he can't be a hero, he will help them. The underground heroes think Izuku is some kind of retired pro when they ask for help analyzing some villains and all, and when they finally meet face-to-face they all decide to practically adopt Izuku and teach him to fight so he will have a chance to be a quirkless hero. It is amazing! Also, the relationship between Izuku and the underground heroes is more like friends than teacher-student, and it's amazing that way. (some All Might bashing - be warned)

August - 

Mobius by Foxquills (BNHA) @fox-quills

WIP - I love this story so much!!! Third-year Izuku is sent to the past because of a quirk accident, to the time both Shouta and Hizashi are third year students at UA. Problem is, according to Nedzu, time is constant, or a loop, so he can’t change anything in the past, and everything that has happened, will happen again. He becomes fast friends with both Shouta and Hizashi, and starts crushing on them as well. Both Hizashi and Shouta also start crushing on him. It is lovely. There’s pain. It’s awesome. (also omegaverse).

September - 

Factory Settings by Anonymous (Good Omens)

Post season 2 au, because Crowley follows Aziraphale to heaven. Things happen, and instead of Crowley, there is Raphael, without any memory of all the time he's lived as Crowley. Heaven and Hell are at it again. Aziraphale has no idea what to do, and he misses his Crowley. Muriel is a sweetheart. Both Aziraphale and Crowley/Raphael povs. Great story, feels very much canon.

October - 

Justice in Defiance by Foxquills (BNHA) @fox-quills

WIP - Aizawa is a hero turned villain who kills both heroes and villains alike. And one day Izuku finds him right after he kills someone. They fight. And now Izuku needs to know more. What made Aizawa turn????? To do that, he will also need Hizashi in his corner. Absolutely lovely story!!!! The povs are amazing. The feelings and pining are perfect.

November - 

If I Must Starve (Let it be in Your Arms) by Igneum807 (The Witcher)

So think about the softest story involving Jaskier and touch-starved witchers, and this is the result. During his travels alone, when he and Geralt go their different ways for a few weeks, Jaskier meets Geralt's brothers, who are just as touch and companionship-starved as Geralt was before meeting Jaskier. It's super soft and tender.

December - 

Cultivate: Slow Life on a Monster-Infested Mountain by NeonGhostCat (SVSSS) @neonghostcat

When SY transmigrates, the System tries to put him on SQQ's body, but SQQ is aware and is able to stop it from happening. The System then gives SY his own body, but something goes wrong with the system and SY is decided to not get involved with the plot, or with Cang Qiong Sect, and specially SQQ. He finds an abandoned mountain, with an abandoned house there and decides to stay there until he is strong enough if SQQ finds him and wants to kill him. Obviously things cannot be that simple. Now he is stuck on the mountain he can't get out of, every full moon night there are monster attacks and one day LQG appears on the Mountain, how can he get out of helping with the plot now? Shen Yuan is absolutely perfect on this fic. I love how he deals with the mountain and its beasts and plant-life. Liushen is the softest you'll see. Slow burn, super domestic, feel good story.

Hi again! I have some questions/ideas regarding your Creature!AU for Hazbin Hotel.

1. Would Sera and Emily be harpies? Harpies are human-bird creatures, and Sera’s full angelic form looks birdlike.

2. I’m thinking that Niffty would be an ōni, which is a Japanese mythological equivalent to an ogre or orc or troll.

3. Would Angel Dust be a spider person like Arachne the Spider Woman from Ancient Greek mythology? (since Angel Dust is, of course, a spider)

4. I’m thinking that Husk would be a harpy and werecat hybrid since he’s an avian feline demon.

5. Would Mimzy be either a harpy (since she was loosely based on a chicken) or would she be a gorgon (like Medusa) or would she be both (like a harpy and gorgon hybrid)?

6. I’m thinking that Carmilla Carmine would be a kraken (especially because Carmilla Carmine reminds me of Grandmamah Gillman from the movie “Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken”.)

7. I’m thinking that Adam wouldn’t be a merman/triton, but a kaiju who often disguises himself as a merman/triton. Not to mention that Adam’s merman/triton disguise would be a megladon merman/triton.

8. I’m thinking that Cherri Bomb would be either a minotaur or a centaur.

In this story, sadly, Sera and Emily are both humans, most angels are the humans in the village, but I can make creature versions of them considering a human can be cursed to take a form of a creature, i.e. Vaggie. I do like the Harpy idea for that though.

Niffty being an ōni is actually an interesting idea, I was going to make her some sort of creature with bug type qualities, but I do like your idea. We will see.

Angel will actually be a Drider, which is practically like Arachne, so yes.

I have actually already decided that Husk will be a sphynx type creature.

Haven't really thought about it, but I do like the idea of Mimzy being either a gorgon or a harpy, but a mix would also be interesting, we will see about that one.

Ooooh I really do like the idea of Carmine being a Kraken.

Again, sadly, Adam is a human. He is actually the leader of the hunting group that goes into the forest to hunt creatures to "protect" the village.

Pacific Rim (1st one plus The Black) inspired AU where Skizz is a test tube baby with Kaiju DNA created in 2011 and like the scientists who created him don't give him a name or anything they just want to use his hybrid brain to detect Kaiju approaching the Breach. Then that lab gets stormed by an intelligence agency or smthing? Idfk and it's happy fun time and skizz gets treated humanely until the place gets explodificated on the 3rd anniversary of his rescue. All of his information and most of his new family are lost and now he's under the care of the Jaeger program agency or whatever. But the medical staff quickly realise he's missing vital proteins or smthing cause his cells can't rebuild themselves properly anymore and he's gonna fucking die- His body matures roughly double speed but it's aging triple speed, it's a bad time. Anyways in comes Dr impulse in 2018 to try to help this poor kid and prevent him from dying as quick.

this makes me think about drift compatible imp and skizz, they'd be perfect for it

but yes if you write this I would love to see it!

afaik it's a term thats become all-encompassing for like, 'non-humanoid thing gets turned into a humanoid design' ? like anything from kaiju to inanimate objects lmao

for me personally i've been using the term gijinka over 'human' because most of my designs are more like humanoid hybrids, where features from their kaiju designs are present to some degree or another. whereas like, i also have designs in mind for a straight up modern human au, without the hybrid elements, if that makes sense?

with the lore im lowkey building in the bg for my gijinkas, they're sorta demigod type figures, which is why their designs lean towards a kinda royal fantasy vibe ?? idk how to describe it but they're wearing fruity ass shiet instead of tshirts n jeans cuz they're existing in a full on au rather than a place in our world type thing

WHAT?! CALEM AS THE PROTAGONIST OF X AND Y IN THIS AU INSTEAD OF SERENA?! WHAT IS THIS FOUL MAGIC?! In all seriousness, here's Calem for the kaijumorpha au!

Calem was what one would consider an oddity amongst both humans and even other fellow kaijumorphs. Born from an romance between a regular human woman and a (now deceased) natural-born Therus father, Calem's very birth was considered something as an omen and a warning by Kalos' legendary duo themselves. Despite this, however, Calem had managed to gain a few friends along his pokemon journey in Kalos. Including a were-vulture named Serena, two demihumans named Shauna and Tierno, and a human named Trevor. And on their pokemon adventure, they would eventually cross paths with team flare and stop the end of the world...

So this was a design I've had floating around for a bit. I kinda had Calem as this megakaiju centaur in my head being in the AU for quite some time. Now originally, back when the idea for this 'verse's name was the "infiniverse", Calem had gained this for after getting hit by the ultimate weapon's power and mutating into what he looks like here. but i decided against it and went on with Calem being a human/therus hybrid when I began to build up upon this au with power kieran and the Paldea pack (name for the three rivals, plus the protagonists', group name in the au).

Now as stated, the centaur part of Calem's design is based on the mega kaiju from pacific rim's un-made sequel. Another major insp for calem being a centaur was because of Juno Song's Monochrome DX with lyrics Jumpscare showing Calem and Serena failing (or living eternally for Calem's case)

Hello everyone! So, I've been lagging a little in terms of inspiration due to real-life stuff, so I've been doing some personal writing to keep the motivation going. I'm working my way through some ideas, and I have a couple I wanna do!

Above, you can see some of what I'm working on, with the last two being in reference to some asks I've had since I updated my rules last time! (One of which was a birthday wish ask combo and I wanted to make sure I could answer it too ;;v;; )

Keep in mind that if it is the fem!Yuu Monster AU option, she would have already been pregnant before she arrived in Twisted Wonderland, so sorry, no monster/human baby hybrids here! Meanwhile, the male Yuu/MC has a baby already with him (gonna go with something having happened to the mother, so he would be a single father showing the monsters how to care or hold a baby human 🥹)

VALE AS A KILLER

That night in Dogtown changed everything. Agreeing to become a proxy for the Blackwall caused something. From the minute Vale made the connection, everything in the air felt off. Faster than they could blink, the world changed in their view. Red arches of lightning, webs connecting every single bit of technology within the building, within the helicopters, within the people. Electric impulses, last thoughts from humans in pain were all they could see, and it was all their fault. The most lives Vale had ever taken, all with the gentle nudge of the Blackwall's power. Disconnected from reality, their mind merged with the Blackwall, they didn't see the smoke and mirrors. All they saw was power, the power to make a real change in this world, and they lunged right for it.

In a world of darkness, what do you do when the most radiant light burns you with their touch? The Entity was given a wildcard (x10000), like what would happen if you shoved The Fool tarot card and The Tower together! With Vale's consciousness and the Blackwall and Also Johnny There, these three essentially all become one within the Entity's realm. As most Rogue AI are seen as extremely feral, and you've got Vale's kaiju fixation, and you've got Johnny's nuke agenda, Vale obviously looks a little different.

They're essentially in their kaiju hybrid mode in this AU, but much more terrifying! Think long, forked tongues and bloody, razor sharp claws and eyes that glow as they stare you down, telling you you can't run now. The scales across their body in mottled, thick patches no longer shine under the light of the moon, but reduce the amount they're stunned from hits. Definitely has an alligator motif going on, will death roll a Survivor.

Mentally, yes, Vale is still in there. Survivors could try in their trials to reason with Vale, but it's difficult, as the mix of Vale/Johnny/The Blackwall have created The Behemoth. Memories of the past have been associated with extreme pain thanks to The Entity, and Behemoth's got such a muddled memory going on. They experience the nuking of Arasaka Tower, they remember Jackie dying, they feel a hunger that is physically unable to be satiated, all of this occurring at once.

I don't think The Entity can best autism, yes Behemoth loves Godzilla I mean are you kidding me--

Switcheroo: Jack is a lupine, Nana is a farm girl

Genderswap: Jack is a farm gal, Nana is a lupine lad

Parent AU: Everything is the same but Jack and Nana wind up have kids in the future (6 pups specifically)

Reverse moralities AU: Jack and Nana are antagonists instead of protagonists

Amnesia AU: Jack is wacked with a memory loss curse and Nana has to help him regain them as well as their close relationship.

Jukebox Musical: My favorite one-it's just a super simplified version of Beanstalked in a library setting where everyone lives in books in an enchanted library

Modern AU: In Beanstalked's case, this is just what Jack and Nana's earthly lives are since everyone has a Lore self and and Earth self due to Lore being a parallel world.

1920s AU: Jack works at a small bookstore while trying to make it as a novelists and Nana is a club singer he has a crush on

Pacific Rim AU: Jack and Nana pilot a Jaeger and punch Kaiju and kiss a lot.

Fairy Jam AU: ....This is literally just Space Jam but everyone is a Beanstalked character instead.

Fables Don't Dance AU: This is literally just Cats Don't Dance but Jack is Danny and Nana is Sawyer.

Pirate AU: Jack is a cabin boy and Nana is the mermaid who has a crush on him.

Mermaid AU: Jack and Nana are both mermaids.

Little Shop of Horrors AU: Nana is a man eating plant and Jack is the lovestruck shopkeeper who keeps offing people to feed to her.

Demon Slayer AU: Not to be mistaken for the anime of the same title. This is a more Bloodborne-ish AU where Jack is a demon hunter and Nana is the demon who made a contract with him to keep him alive and allow him to use her abilities in battle.

Alien AU: Not to be mistaken for the movie of the same name. Nana is an alien being kept on the ship that Jack works on that Jack has a very obvious crush on.

Slasher AU: Jack is a masked slasher and Nana is the final girl he has had a crush on since they were kids together.

Dragon AU: Jack and Nana are dragons...pretty simple tbh.

Pokemon AU: Jack and Nana are pokemon trainers in a new fairy tale based region.

Beauty and the Beast AU: Just the Disney movie but Nana is Beast and Jack is Belle.

Toy AU: A mash-up of Raggedy Anne's Musical Adventure and Toy Story. Jack is a homemade rag doll and Nana is brand new plushie.

Jackdaw AU: Jack is a bird person and Nana is the one who keeps him safe as he heals from a broken wing.

Halloween Town AU: Jack is the Pumpkin King and Nana is a werewolf. But tbh this is just Nightmare Before Christmas.

Lego: EVERYONE IS A LEGO MINIFIG

Ghost Bride AU: Set in a victorian timeish setting where Jack died prematurely and Nana keeps his heart in a locket on her so he can still linger around her and can fully interact with her. They are happily in love but everyone is scared as hell.

Enchanted AU: Jack winds up popping out of the fairy tale world and into our world where Nana finds him and has to help him get back home

Magic Mike...AU?: I have a list where I wrote all of these down and I found this on it and I am pretty sure this is from after I watched Magic Mike and thought it'd be funny if Jack worked at a club and met Nana after a surprise bachorlette party Ashe threw for her and they just hit it off.

Cat AU: Jack and Nana are cats-Jack is a barn cat and Nana is just a stray.

Dog AU: Jack and Nana are dogs witch Jack working on a farm and Nana being a wolfdog hybrid.

Nymph and Satyr AU: Jack is a forest nymph and Nana is a satyr.

Marvel Cinematic Universe AU: Jack is basically Captain America and Nana is Lieutenant Lupine (a role I made from scratch that is just the fusion of Peggy and Bucky)

I probably missed a few but yeah...I like to spoil Jack and Nana a lot.
