Ka-Zar the Savage #2 (Jones/Anderson, May 1981). Shockingly craven! Afraid that Shanna will realize he cheated on her, Ka-Zar tries to weasel out of rescuing his mistress. Boy, and I used to complain about Xavier’s lechery and Clint’s bad attitude. They’ve got nothing on Lord Plunder here.

"Rogue: The Savage Land" to Take Place During 1981's "Uncanny X-Men" Run
In 1981 Rogue took a trip to the Savage Land and started a relationship with Magento in Chris Claremont and Jim Lee's Uncanny X-Men #269-#274. Now, in Tim Seeley and Zulema Lavina's Rogue: The Savage Land, we can get the whole story of that chapter of Rogue's life.

Ka-Zar the Savage #8 (Jones/Anderson, Nov 1981). Ancient technology from Atlantis colonized Pangea, a region next to the Savage Land. It’s unclear to me if this is Namor’s Atlantis — nothing about the civilization here seems similar to Namor’s kingdom.
