Leave a “Amuse Me” in my ask, and I will write a funny drabble about my character trying to cheer your up.

“Father look! A Crab!”

Mordred was having a blast! Honestly she couldn’t imagine a better place to hang out with her father than the beach. The waves, the sand, everything was so majestic! She loved each and every moment of it. from the wind in her hair to the sun on her face. It was a nice time.

But .....why wasn’t her father enjoying it? At first she didn’t even really realize that Artoria was staring off into the horizon and Mordred slowed to a stop as she paused, realizing they weren’t having any fun.  “...Father? Cmon let’s go into the water! I’ll race ya!” She exclaimed, smiling brightly, joy in her heard as she moved in and gently took her father’s hand. Only for it to be suddenly ripped away from her.

“....F....Father....” She trailed off. But she couldn’t smile anymore. She wanted to. She wanted to so badly be as happy as she’d been but moments before. But it bled out of her from the wound that those eyes made in her. Much more than that, not just her happiness, but any feeling of normalcy hemorrhaged, spilled like guts from heer and left her feeling empty. Aching.

“I.....I don’t get it. I saw you. You were having fun. You were playing in the water with master.... F-....Father.....” She felt her voice shaking, and heard that sigh before her father turned their back to her, and walked away, off toward the others. None of whom had witnessed the exchange.

“Why.....” Her eyes burned, stinging as she felt that hole in her chest growing worse. She was so wet from the ocean, that those tears mingled seamlessly. Unseen as she was left alone on that beach, the crab already having wiggled free, forgotten. And what hurt even more was the transformation. As soon as her Father was closer to the others than she was to Mordred, that smile came back. That radiance. that gleefulness.

“Why........” Her voice now a whimper. She didn’t drop to hr knees like the dramatic scene of a movie. She lowered herself slowly and gently knlt. Torn. Wanting so badly to go after them.

She had always thought it was that damn sword that had drained her father’s happiness. She;d ....shed done a lot....thinking that it was the weight of the crown. But as Mordred turned away from the others and hugged her knees to herself, she thought that maybe, it was just her.

She was still a knight. Even in this swimsuit. And so.....as the sun sank down.

She made not a single noise as she wept silently in her solitude.

Спасибо всем, кто не прошёл мимо моей просьбы и оказал помощь, чтобы эти дети никогда не узнали, как выживать в холода, где искать пропитание, когда твой кормилец больше не выходит на крыльцо и не выносит тёплой еды. Я всегда с ужасом представляю, что они испытывают и, зная, что они есть и не попытаться им помочь, я не смогла. Путь домой начался, но он не всегда бывает быстрым. Котята ещё не очень доверяют человеку. И к сожалению, не все готовы сразу взять таких питомцев в дом. Но все же я попрошу вас присмотреться к деткам и, быть может, у кого-то дрогнет сердце и он готов всем своим теплом и заботой расстопить эти маленькие души. Ну а пока наши родители ещё в пути, мы должны идти по своему плану. Первым делом мы сдали самые необходимые анализы. Заселились на передержку. Обработались от блох, а дальше обработка от глистов и вакцинация. Ниже отчёт о вашей помощи и наших расходах.
