BUT!!! i think the type of player he is on and off the pitch make him the perfect smiley antagonist (not bad guy) type character. bc he's almost never the main character in the big games he's played bc people are almost always rooting against his team (unless ur a bayern/germany fan) bc they know he's a tough opponent. but he's such a fun guy that u cant rlly hate him.

the whole point of this being is that he gives kuroo tetsuro and/or oikawa toru from haikyuu vibes. like smiley sh*thousery is so entertaining.
