Eric hangs on to every word his soulmate had to say, gently rubbing his thumb over the top of his hand. He hums softly in agreement with everything he had to say about his ideal relationship. "I admit I havent really thought about it either. I have been a bit afraid to allow myself to find love or have a serious relationship in centuries. It's been lonely but I thought it was what I wanted, to keep to myself. I didn't think I needed anyone. I was afraid to need anyone but I know now that everyone needs someone." He says softly as he continues to caress his hand. "I guess my ideal relationship is someone patient. I have issues with opening up to others, I close myself off sometimes when I'm scared or stressed, I work too much. I guess I want someone who doesn't give up on me, someone who will help push me out of my comfort zone. I want someone who wants me for me, who won't leave when things get tough or I get caught in my head. I want to share my life with someone who understands that I don't always show my affection physically but that I show my love with acts of service and gifts. I have abandonment issues and have never really felt like I deserved love but I want someone who will show me that I deserve to love and be loved. I want to do all the things you said and then some. I know it wont be easy but I will never stop trying." He said kissing his knuckles "Do you think you could be that person? Lady Fate obviously picked you for me after I have been alone for centuries and shyed away from romantic relationships. I just want to be worthy of you. King was nervous to meet his new client, especially after reading the strangers case and records given to him by another therapist. He mainly catered to humans, so this was his first experience with a supernatural being in his career. “Hello, my name is Dr. Chang. Please sit and make yourself comfortable.” He says politely with a warm smile. “Would you like some tea or coffee before we begin?”
