Like what did you think that kh would have lasted for ever? Or for more 13 games, sorry? And yes I must admit that when Nomura mentioned retirement I felt my heart sink because I never considered it even if Nomura is getting older but it's not something we have under our nose every day.

Anyway, retirement or not, guys this series has been going for 22 years, kh1 in terms of story feels hundreds of years ago. I mean that the story had almost an unrecognisable evolution, I don’t mean that I don’t like it, but where do we want to end up if the series keeps going for many more games. I’m telling you the story with kh4 and missing link will be entirely covered, the past will not have more secrets to hide and the ending of the story will start to be unraveled, or at least build his foundation, and the next game, or the next numbered game will be the last one. I said the next game because if Nomura will be retiring soon, oh I forgot to mention before he’s 53 and in Japan people retire at 60 so he will retire in 2030 I guess, you think he will spend precious time on explaining Yozora story if it won’t be that relevant for the main plot, I mean Yozora will be in kh4, he has said it if I don’t mind, so we might see something of his story in kh4, maybe not everything but there won’t be an additional game when the team has other priorities, like finishing the story before Nomura retires.

In fact, Nomura in the same interview said regarding ff7 that he’s the only one who knows the characters more deeply than anyone and that he keeps hidden details and aspects of a character in a notebook that only he has access to. This means that without Nomura, regardless of the indispensable work of the team that made kh being able to exist, kh can’t go anywhere without him, he’s his soul, it doesn’t matter how much you think you know about kh, he’s un replaceable period.

When Aeneas ran away from Troy with his father and his son, he arrived nearby the river Tiber in Italy, where later on his son founded the city of Alba Longa.
