Can I have a Janis 'Imi'ike x femme reader imagine where they’re friends and reader finds Janis’ sketchbook which is full of sketches of reader?
Life Imitates Art
WARNINGS: none, just fluff. janis being a gay mess.
Janis Imi'ike and Y/N Y/L/N have been best friends since they were in diapers.
Their parents were best friends in college and stuck together for years. So it was like they were destined to be together.
Y/N was there for Janis through everything, but they got even closer after the Regina incident. Janis had gone to Y/N's house crying after what happened and the two, along with Damian, spent the rest of that night watching the girl's favorite movies.
Janis fell in love with Y/N that night.
Years and years of denying their feelings brings them to senior year, aka "post-bitchy regina".
Everyone was friends so it was a lot easier to go through their last year together. Instantly, (without Janis and Y/N's knowledge), everyone decided that senior year was going to be "Project Get Y/N and Janis Together".
Regina, Janis, and Y/N all had homeroom together and Regina began texting in the group chat.
(Former) Queen Bitch👑: guys. they are staring at each other. the tension is suffocating.
Detective Gretchen🕵️♀️: OMG! That is ADORABLE!
Sexy Maus🐭: thats so qute
Nerd: awwww. guys, maybe we don't need a plan. let's let them work through it.
Beyonce: uh. have you met janis? that girl doesn't know how to act around y/n. we need to intervene. and there's only one way.
(Former) Queen Bitch👑: damian. no. not that.
Nerd: what is going on?
Beyonce: this is classified information. no one can tell janis or y/n this. karen? got it?
Sexy Maus🐭: what?
Detective Gretchen🕵️♀️: I got it. Now what is it?
Beyonce: Janis's sketchbook. It's got tons of beautiful drawings of Y/N in it. Regina and I stumbled upon it accidentally a couple of weeks ago.
Detective Gretchen🕵️♀️: OMG!!
Nerd: THAT'S SO CUTE!
Beyonce: I think it's time we subtly show Y/N the book.
That weekend, the group all met up at Janis's house for their weekly sleepover. Damian decided to put his plan into motion. Whenever Janis was distracted, he snuck upstairs and put her sketchbook in plain sight, then he snuck back downstairs.
Then he put it into motion.
"Hey, Y/N. I was wondering if I could have some ibuprofen? I have a headache and I know you always have some." The girl smiled and nodded, standing from her place next to Janis and heading upstairs.
Janis watched the girl go and turned back to see everyone smirking at her. "What?" Damian giggled. "Girl, keep it in your pants." Janis blushed. "What are you talking about?" Gretchen squealed. "You totally have a crush on Y/N! It's so cute!"
Janis blushed harder. "I do not have a crush on her! She's my best friend." Karen smiled. "Your best friend that you wanna kiss. Which is really cool because Gretchen is my best friend that I wanna kiss."
Everyone paused and looked at Gretchen, who was blushing harder than Janis. Regina broke the silence. "Okay, we'll come back to this. But Janis, they're right. You and Y/N have feelings for each other and I think it's time that you tell her. It's our senior year. We don't know what the future holds, we just don't want you to regret not telling her."
Janis took the blonde's words to heart and nodded. "Okay, I'll tell her." She got up and with the cheering from her friends, she went upstairs to talk to Y/N.
"Y/N, I need to tell you something."
Janis froze in her tracks. Y/N was looking at her sketchbook. Specifially, a portrait that she drew of Y/N. Janis stuttered over her words. "Y/N, I can explain."
"This is beautiful, Janis. Is this how you see me?" Janis swallowed hard and nodded, walking closer to Y/N.
"It's how I've always seen you." Y/N's breath hitched as Janis continued.
"Y/N. I love you. I've loved you since you comforted me after the incident with Regina. Maybe even longer. And I really wanna be with you. Those pictures I've drawn don't even compare to your actual beauty. Every time I look at you, the rest of the world melts away. And if you give me the chance, I really wanna be with you."
Janis couldn't say anything else because Y/N kissed her.
Y/N was kissing her.
Y/N WAS KISSING HER?
The girl's lips were a lot softer than Janis imagined. It was everything she imagined actually, and more. The two kissed for a minute before cheering made them break away from each other.
They looked to see their friends standing in the hallway, all smiling widely.
Y/N tucked her face into Janis's neck, hiding her blush. Damian spoke. "So?"
Janis smirked back at him. "My girlfriend and I will meet you guys downstairs."

❀on a summer’s eve | reader x hyunjin | ❀
or, a sequel to on a winter’s day
Pairing: self insert, female reader x hwang hyunjin
Genre: the fluffiest smut
Tags: confident!reader, shy!hyunjin, dancer au, college au, softnsubby!hyunjin, dom!reader, fluffy established relationship, comfort fic, slow-ish burn, popsicle/temperature play, face sitting, orgasm denial, oral (m & f receiving), choking, nipple play, dressin’ up hj like the pretty boy he is, praising, unprotected sex (be safe loves!), cockwarming
Word count: 5k
There are many things about Hyunjin that seem like they must be too good to be true. Often, you’d find a chuckle slipping past your lips thinking about how you must’ve done something world saving in your past life to deserve someone as unbelievable as him.
Gone were the days when you would plead for him to stay just a little while longer so you could savor just a couple more moments with him. Now, he was all yours. The nuisances of your feelings for him had dissipated like the little snowflakes that would melt into his skin.
“I want to stay with you like this forever.”
Hyunjin would draw little pictures into your skin when you would hold him in your arms. It was otherworldly how his bare body felt against yours as your limbs would be woven into the thin sheets of your bed. The two of you would wonder at the glow stars on your ceiling as if they were real constellations, and he would tell you every little thing about his day, or the songs that he wanted you to listen to.
During the cold months, he promised you that he would take you to see the real stars, not just the inkling of them that you could barely see due to the city’s glow. Hyunjin would actually make dozens of promises to you, so many, that you had lost track:
I promise to never miss you dance
I promise to share everything with you
I promise to hold you as tight as I can
I promise to keep you company when you are sad
I promise to hold your hand when it’s cold, and when it’s warm
I promise to take you to the sea
I promise to take you to the stars
✦✧✦✧
Hyunjin’s silvery blonde hair whipped at the slide of his face, getting little strands stuck in his mouth. Every once and a while you would hear him make little pah pah pah sounds to get it unstuck from his lips. It was partly his fault: he was the one that wanted the car window open. To your right, the great expanse of the sea stretched for as far as your eyes could fathom, and the foamy waves bubbled at the shore. It had been years since you had consumed the ocean’s aquamarine color.
The summer warmth kissed your skin as you outstretched your hand out from the window to wave your hand in the airstream. The outline of our hand traced the shimmering waves, pretending that you had become one with them.
You rested your chin on the windowsill, feeling Hyunjin’s hand reach out to you and squeeze your thigh. From the corner of your eye, you knew that he must have been smiling. His long fingers interlaced with yours and he pulled your hand to dote a tiny kiss on it.
“This has to be my favorite place!!” Hyunjin raised his voice over the wind. “Do you like it?”
“I love it!!!” you rang both of your hands in the air, motioning to the gorgeous scenery in front of you: it was the perfect little sea-town hugging the coast, built a little to hills which were adorned with blooming wildflowers and the greenest trees.
“I can’t wait to share it all with you.” His adorable little smile shone back rivaling warmth of the setting sun.
✦✧✦✧
The waves were loudest in your ears once you had reached the beach with gravel crackling under the tires. Seeing as it was nearly dinner time, the beach had cleared out slightly, leaving only a few beach-goers with their rainbow umbrellas and neon colored folding chairs. In front of you was the most breathtaking sunset that you had likely seen in all of your life: it appeared to be so impossibly real that you surmised that your brain tricked you into thinking you had dreamt it into reality.
“wow.” you gasped.
For being one that loved hearing the sound of your voice, there were often times when you were left speechless, and when you were, you would never forget.
Your fingers reached out to the glass of the windshield, following the way that the sky faded from sapphire blue, to azure, to burnt orange and red, then to pure white and yellow. A stripe of the sunset reflected upon the horizon that sparkled.
“Are you ready?” Hyunjin tucked a rogue strand of your hair behind your ear.
“Mmhm.”
ding-ding-ding went the opened car doors.
Hyunjin slicked his sweating roots under a cap, then grabbed out his camera. The humidity that rolled of the ocean flooded your pores and made your whole body swell with warmth. Your boyfriend fiddled with his camera settings with the sunset behind him, and you thought to yourself for the millionth time: he really was pure art.
His sleeveless shirt flapped at his sides where he held your hand and the heat from both of your bodies intertwined as you padded though the burning sand. You couldn’t remember the last time that you had felt the sand between your toes.
“Is it okay if I can take pictures of you?” Hyunjin shyly asked, squeezing your hand.
“Of course you can.” you allowed. “But! You have to let me take pictures of you as well! That’s my condition.”
Hyunjin groaned a little in retaliation. “You know that I don’t like--”
“--Jinnie, trust me, if you were in my head, you’d know how much I’m loosing my mind over how gorgeous you look here.”
“Nooo...I don’t think so--”
“I mean it!! Would you please let me show you?”
Hyunjin worriedly crossed his brows.
If only he knew what a fool for him you were.
With little warning, you launched yourself into his arms, nearly tackling the both of you to the ground.
“Hwang Hyunjin you are the prettiest boy that ever lived!! And I love youuuuuu!!”
Your boyfriend’s flushed face wrinkled into a smile and the little smile lines around his nose made your favorite appearance.
He laughed out, “And I love you tooooo!!!” then gave a peck to your forehead. “Fine, you can take pictures of me...but can we just keep them to ourselves?”
“Oookay then, if that’s what you would like.”
Tenderly, he cradled your face in his hands, holding your eyes with his own, then pressed his forehead to yours.
“Thank you for being my safe place.”
His whispers faded into the sound of the ebbing waves.
The setting sun warms your whole body when he leans in to kiss you with lips parted slightly. You must have kissed him hundreds of times, but it never changed. Each kiss with him was like the first: as if he cared for nothing else in the world, only you. When the two of you became one like this, you felt whole; bathed in the sense of utter peace that he would give to you. He found himself in you, pouring his love in every one of his fluttering kisses, and you would give it back, telling him wordlessly that he made up your world.
Hyunjin’s tongue slowly tested your bottom lip, eliciting a tiny squeak from your mouth, barely audible.
“Shouldn’t we save that for later?” You giggled into him.
He returned with an embarrassed little smirk to you. “I just...wanted to kiss you somewhere beautiful.”
You snuck your hand between the two of you, stealthily grasping the camera strap that hung loosely around his neck.
“I wanna go first!!
✦✧✦✧
Hyunjin tugged you out to the ocean, closer and closer until your feet sunk into the sand underneath you. By now, the red sun was nearly fully set into the horizon, and the two of you stood soaking up the last bits of its essence.
You slung your arm around Hyunjin’s waist, gripping hard. “Well, we’re getting in aren’t we??”
“We’re what?!”
“I hope you don’t mind getting wet!!”
The blonde boy stumbled after feeling your hand grasp around his wrist to pull him into the water.
“Wait wait wait!!!” He yelped with wide eyes. “My-my clothes?!”
You stomped into the white crests, splattering droplets all over your jean shorts. “There’s towels in the car!”
The deeper you got, the more shocked Hyunjin became, and only held tighter to your hand.
“Come on,” you hushed, “I promise I won’t let go ‘Jinnie.”
Your boyfriend adorably gulped, following your steps until the water adhered the fabric of his clothes to his body. Of course, you pretended not to notice how they hugged him, but this was no easy task.
“It’s not as cold as I thought it would be.” Hyunjin nervously laughed out.
The two of you walked on, at least until you were able to stand with the water draping over your shoulders. For a couple moments, you simply stood, letting the waves pass by you and the current suspend your bodies. He had wrapped his arms around you, holding on tight light you might float away.
“Thank you for bringing me here.” Your pruned fingers ran up and down his arms.
He sighed out with a tiny smile, “I had to keep my promise.”
“Can we...kiss again? I think it’s--ya know--really beautiful here too.”
Hyunjin answered you by pulling you into his body and angling the back of your neck up to meet his lips. It was a little hypnotic even, feeling so lightheaded from his affectionate kisses and the water bobbing your bodies up and down lightly. Something about it all gave you goosebumps. Hyunjin’s lips tasted very faintly of the sea salt while he pressed smiling gifts upon yours.
Distantly, you thought that you had heard the shriek of a seagull, but it turned out to be something much different:
“Ewwww MOM they’re kissing!!!”
✦✧✦✧
Hyunjin would go on to fulfill another promise to you that evening when he suggested that the two of you eat dinner outside: out in the little garden that looked as if it hadn’t been tended to in years, but still held some kind of whimsical magic to it. In many ways, how the weeds and mosses would cover the stone pathways and underbrush made it appear forest-like.
The garden wasn’t the largest, and held no more than a couple flowering bushes, some lanterns and a well-loved hammock. As he grilled the vegetables for you both, he told you to sit back and just...look up.
Dawn had faded into night, and blanket of darkness consumed the sky. However, it wasn’t desolate in the slightest, but rather was splashed with the most magnificent array of twinkling white stars. In the opaque city sky, you hadn’t ever seen them as brilliant.
Hyunjin rocked you back and forth on the hammock, arm wrapped around your shoulder while you admired them together.
“Miss the glow stars?” He breathed out a teasing chuckle.
“-Nah, this puts them to shame.”
“I wish we could always see them like this.”
A contented silence filled between you, and your eyes traced the shapes in the sky trying to make out the constellations that you knew.
“I think you’re making this my favorite place, Hyunjin.”
He giggled, “I haven’t even shown you my favorite part.”
✦✧✦✧
“I actually...you’re the first one who I’ve ever shown this.” Hyunjin fiddled with the door handle at the end of the hallway, poking a key into the lock which was tied around a red string.
“Huh, this feels a little familiar right? You hiding some kind of colossal mess in there like when I showed you my apartment for the first time?”
He tittered sweetly, “No, it’s not like that.”
“Ahhh come on, I’m dying to know!!”
At last, he swung the door open with a creak, revealing the pitch black room. He flung the light switch on.
“When we would come visit here over the summers, this room was all for me.”
Hyunjin’s voice echoed and bounced off the walls of the nearly entirely empty room. It was furniture-less, save for one corner which stored a velvety and cushy looking chair on a circular rug. A little basket next to the chair held a couple children’s books. There was yellow sticky-tack that had bled into the paper of the crayon-pictures that dressed the walls nearby the chair.
“Did you...draw these?”
“Mm-yeah, a long, long time ago...I know, I know, they’re super cringey.”
“No, I think that they’re super cute.”
“...thanks.” He blushed.
“So was this like your playroom or something?”
“Yeah, kinda like that.”
“How come it’s so...empty?”
Hyunjin looked out past you, to the windows on the opposite wall. The giant glass panels ran from floor to ceiling, and you could see nearly the whole sea-town from where his summer home was situated on a hill. The yellow glow of lights form other homes flowed down the hillside like a collection of fireflies. Further out, the crescent moon illuminated the ocean.
From the light of the room contrasting with the evening’s darkness, the windows appeared mirror-like.
Then, you knew.
“Is this...where you would dance?”
He nodded solemnly.
“I think I figured out that I wanted to be a dancer here. I would look out there at night, and there was something deep down inside me that just knew. Before I even knew how to dance, I would sorta just, move around in here, listen to music. It’s kind of...embarrassing--”
“--No! No, it’s not! I think, I think that it’s beautiful. Don’t feel embarrassed.”
Hyunjin tangled his fingers among yours, “Can I dance for you?”
“Yes. Of course.” You smoothed down a couple silvery strands.
“Okay.”
First, he tore off his cotton tee.
“Woah there!!!” In your surprise, your eyes greedily ate him up as you stifled your laughter. “I thought you were dancing, not stripping.”
Your boyfriend impatiently rolled his eyes at you. “It’s part of the dance.”
“Ahhhhh.”
“You’ll see.”
He set to work finding the song on his phone, and you pretended to be heavily invested in your strawberry popsicle you had brought along. It was your own fault that you stung your teeth trying to take a bite, realizing that Hyunjin’s bare chest was just a little too distracting.
He kicked off his slippers, saying, “This is the one I’ve been telling you about, the one that I’ve been choreographing for a while.”
“M’kay!” You huddled down into the chair to fold up your body, now getting hotter by the second. Two more strawberry licks and you hoped to cool down.
“It isn’t finished yet...so...”
“Go ahead! I’m sure that it’ll be amazing.”
Hyunjin let out a determined little huff before inhaling deeply and flaring up every muscle on his sculpted chest. The music began to play, then his expression dropped to dead serious, just as it would every time he would start his movements. There was nothing but pristine focus in his brown eyes.
It was nothing new to you, but every time that Hyunjin would dance for you, it was like you were seeing him do it for the first time. After all, his dancing was one of the things that made you fall in love with him in the first place.
He had a way of turning himself into the music. It was like he was no longer human, but fluid water, leaves in the wind, snowflakes wafting in streetlights. The inhuman way that he would tense every muscle in his body to lift himself from the ground almost like a sparrow was utterly breathtaking.
Hyunjin’s bare feet hit the floor with a thud as he spun himself around, and his sharp inhales met each beat. The song didn’t have any lyrics, but it was as if his body was filling the room with words; telling a story with his body.
Two drips from your nearly uneaten popsicle waterfalled down your hand. Conversely, two drips of sweat fell down Hyunjin’s body where he finished his dance curled into a ball against the floor. The room was filled with silence and his shallow breaths.
“Hyunjin...oh my god, that was...”
“I know, it’s really rough, I’m still working out the middle part--”
“--I-its unbelievable! I-I mean, you’re unbelievable!”
“Really?”
“Yes! Really.” You rose to attack his sweating body with the biggest hug you could manage with one hand holding your cold treat. “You always take my breath away when you do that.”
“You liked it that much?”
“Would I lie? God, I don’t have a clue how you do it.”
“I just...practice.”
You lead him over to the velvety chair. “Tell me about it. What does it mean?”
“Well, I was thinking it’s about breaking through what makes you vulnerable and insecure, and trying to find yourself when you aren’t sure who you are. Did you...get that?”
Truthfully, he had lost you a little bit. What was more preoccupying was how enraptured he looked reflecting on something so personal to him.
“That’s so beautiful ‘Jin.” Your fingers framed his face with a subtle brush.
“Hm-thank you.” He nuzzled into your hand.
The urge to be as close to him as possible to him was suffocating, so you let your body lead your actions before your mind did: straddling him where he sat to circle your arms around him tight. He let out a little surprised “oh!” but held you back just as tight. You needed nothing more than for him to hold you like that for just a little while.
Two more red, syrupy drips, fell down your wrist.
“Y/n?”
“Hm?”
“Can I please have you tonight? You can do whatever you want to me, I just...want you.”
“Oh, Jinnie...”
He knew all he had to do was say please.
“I wanna be...close.”
You granted him the taste of strawberry on your lips, filling his wanton mouth with your answer. Your thumb rubbed into his cheek, where you felt one of his tears wet your skin.
“Why are you crying my love?”
He sniffled, “Because I’m so happy.” he giggled quietly, “I never thought that I would share this place with someone that I care for so much.”
You blinked back tears of your own. “I promise to take care of you always Hyunjin, and to always make you happy, ’kay?”
His needy fingertips dug into our hips, and you involuntarily found yourself grinding into his lap. You both sniffled a little more, but found comfort back by the corners of each other’s mouths.
“You-you can use me...however you want.” Hyunjin moaned prettily into your mouth.
The heat from your clit became overwhelming as you rubbed into his growing hard-on.
“Okay my love. I’ll do that.”
The cold of your popsicle in your hand fed miraculous little ideas into your head.
“Let’s take these pants off, alright?” Hyunjin nodded, hastily unbuttoning his linen pants.
You took two fat licks up the red length of your freezing popsicle, not breaking contact with his eyes. Just to make him whine, you flicked your tongue over the tip of the sweet treat, just like you would do to him. You used your free hand to palm at his bulge, sucking in as deep as you could down your popsicle.
“You want my mouth, pretty boy?”
“Y-yes.”
“Yes what?”
“Yes please.”
You let your hand trace down his gorgeously thick inner thigh to take your position between his legs, kneeling on the carpet. The tips of your fingers hooked under his waistband, tearing off his briefs. Nearly as pink as your stained tongue, his marvelously long dick twitched in his anticipation then shaky breaths quaked in his chest. With one hand, you tugged at his length rubbing his own pre-cum over his tip.
“Fuck, you’re so cute.”
Hyunjin’s biceps flared as he searched for something to grab onto to steady himself, settling one in your hair, and the other digging little crescents into the skin of his pearly thigh. You switched to give more attention to the popsicle, licking at it agonizingly slow all for him to watch.
“You’d like it like this, wouldn’t you?”
“Mmhm.” He whined with a little shake of his hips. “Please.”
“Okay, you deserve it.”
Streams of strawberry juice fell down your hand as you lent your mouth to his neglected cock, then you traced your freezing tongue up and down the skin. Hyunjin gasped in sharply, wincing a little from the sensation. A broken little “oh” reverberated in his chest.
“Too cold?”
“--No!” He interjected, “No, I-I love it, don’t...don’t stop.”
At last you took in his full length, mixing the sweet taste of freezing fruit with the burning hot warmth of his veiny cock. Today, you’d let him hear you gag a little. As shy as he was, you still knew that his ego swelled by the hundreds hearing you choke on his dick.
Your sugary drool fell down the side of his length as you let go, moving to return back to your mess of a popsicle in your hand. The loss of contact made Hyunjin whimper out helplessly.
“Look at me,” You commanded, sucking in the popsicle several more times. By now, his eyes had entirely glazed over with his lust for you. It was that same look that he would get in his eyes when he danced. He was enthralled.
“M-more?” He begged to you.
You prowled over his hips, kissing the side of his dick as you let those red drops drip onto him, lapping at them after a few seconds.
His entire body shivered viciously while he pitifully groaned into the room.
Your devilish little laughs kissed into his inner thighs, where you bit into the skin.
Your popsicle was then gone in seconds, then you ridded your hand from the sticky juice by providing them to your boyfriend who sucked at them greedily. After you felt as if your mouth had warmed enough for it to be tolerable, you kissed his tip, then resumed your work, bobbing up and down, just as you knew he liked it.
“I’m gonna--mm--if you keep doing that.” Hyunjin threw his head back in his euphoria.
“Let’s move this somewhere else then shouldn’t we?”
✦✧✦✧
There was nothing prettier than the way that your love bites would fade into Hyunjin’s skin after a while, fading from violet to lavender as they healed. You could still see a couple of them tracing his collarbones while your fingers tweaked at his angrily hard nipples.
Little mewls from his mouth spilled into your dripping pussy riding his tongue. One pinch, two more pinches...and his hips buckled. He’d take one of his long arms to travel up your body and pinch at your own nipples and kneed your pretty breast in his hand.
“fuck yes, fuck--your mouth feels so good baby.”
His tongue flicked at your swollen clit, causing your whole body to jerk with each touch. He lent tender kisses into your folds, then would switch to fucking into your leaking entrance with his pointed tongue.
“Go slower, slower...”
You pleaded out your instructions, and he was always one to obey. With the combination of his tantalizing licks and the slow grind of your hips, he coaxed out your orgasm so naturally; he left your thighs shaking on both sides of his head. While you came down, Hyunjin would press careful little kisses into your twitching bud, just as you had taught him.
“Your turn.” You huff out, then carefully shift to move off your boyfriend.
“Please...I want you to touch me so bad, ‘hurts a little...”
“Aw does it?”
You kiss his lips wet with your slick.
“I have a present for you though, before I get to that.”
You can see how needy he is in his eyes, but he still puts on a thankful little smile for you.
“Oh really? I’m sorry, I didn’t get you anything...”
“It’s okay! I wanted to surprise you anyway. Besides, you’re a gift enough for me.”
He snickers, “That was kinda cheesy.”
“I thought that you liked when I was cheesy!?”
“I do, I do.”
You dip into your duffle to pull out the tiny cardboard box.
“What’s this?” He sits up to take it from your hands.
Inside he finds the dainty white lace choker, woven to have little flower-like shapes on the top edge, and tiny fake pearls beaded into the bottom edge like little dewdrops.
“Oh my god.”
“Do you like it? I thought that it would look really pretty on yo--”
“--I love it. Thank you so much.” He plays with the clasp. “Do you...want me to wear it right now?”
“I thought that you could--”
“--Can you help me?” He beamed at you coyly, providing you with the clasps.
“Um-sure.” You find yourself getting flustered over your fantasy of seeing him in that choker for weeks finally becoming a reality.
Before you sweep it around his neck, you press one kiss into his neck.
“There. You look gorgeous.”
Hyunjin’s cheeks turn rosy at your compliment.
“Hyunjin, you’re absolutely mesmerizing. I promise to never stop reminding you.”
His lithe fingers tangle up in your messy hair, and you kiss him all over his chest, renewing some of the hickies that had faded away. The sensation tickles him, and his beautiful giggles are like music to your ears. Slowly, your fingers trickle down to his hips where you take up his half-hard cock back in your hand. He hums a little “mm” once you do so.
“I’m going to make you all mine baby boy, wouldn’t you like me to fuck you until you don’t know anything else?”
“Yes!!”
Harder you jerk at his cock while you take in the sight of his fluttering eyelids and the way that the veins on his neck pulsate under the pretty white lace.
“Use your words my love, what is you want?”
“-Want you to fuck me, fuck me so good, please, take care of me...”
Hyunjin’s hips thrash this way and that from your teasing provided by your thumb on his slit.
“Close! I-I’m close--” He chokes out the words.
“Already? You’re that pent up for me hmm?”
“Wanna cum...”
You coolly remove your hand. “Not yet darling.”
His whining moan is just a little too bratty for you--it’s not like your Hyunjin to be like that for you. You decide to try another method.
“Wait just a little longer for me okay my love. Let’s not get impatient.”
“Bu-but--”
“No buts.”
Your hand snakes around his neck to press into his airway, and his eyes roll back sinfully as you do so. In your palm, you can feel the pearls press into his skin. With your other free hand you take back to flicking his nipples in your knuckles. He must not have been lying: the head of his cock is angrily flared. Your grip loosens at his neck, and he gasps out with his moans getting tangled in his inhales.
“ M’sorry, I’ll be a good boy for you.”
Hearing him reassure you makes your head spin, and you feel your clit ache out horribly for stimulation. You want him just as bad he wants you, and you’re almost ready for him to know it.
“Come ‘ere, sit on the edge of the bed.”
He follows you, and those pretty pearls shine in the dim glow of his bedroom.
You fall down to permit him a couple wet stripes to his cock and he’s already a mess once more. Mutterings of words muddle his lips, but you can see that he’s holding them back for you, trying not to pressure you or whine any more.
“You are being a very good boy Jinnie, let’s give you what you want how hmm?”
His eyes blow out with his realization then he eagerly watches as you mount his lap facing him, lowering your entrance over his dick, falling down bit...by bit. Your knees are planted on both sides of his legs, supported by the bed and his arms holding you nearer.
There’s nothing that Hyunjin loves more than feeling how tight you are around his cock, it nearly turns his whole body into jelly with the first contact. For a couple moments, you simply exist connected in this way, letting the sense of intimacy consume your entire beings.
“I love you Hyunjin.” You start to bounce, and it takes all of his will to say the words back to you.
His arms fall back to prop himself up, and Hyunjin lets you bounce up and down on him as hard or as fast or slow as you like, taking his dick to pleasure yourself in any way that you see fit. It’s when you graze your g-spot the deepest that both of your bodies fold together, trying to maintain your upright position. Hyunjin’s arms start to shake and you push his chest back, and his body bounces a little on the mattress from your force. You pay no mind, spreading out your hands flat on his chest to ride him with every bit of energy that you have left.
“oh god, oh god, shit-” He tries his best to hide his curses from you.
You can’t help but obsess over his angelic form under you, topped with the beautiful choker that makes him look nearly fairy-like. The sense of possession that you soak up from his moans all for you drives your orgasm right up through your body, tearing through every nerve you think you must have.
Hyunjin clenches his teeth, hissing air through with his eyebrows crossed tightly.
“Cum for me baby, you can cum for me now my love.”
Hyunjin’s neck flares against his choker with his spewing of nonsense words and erotic moans while he cums inside you, both of you throbbing against the other.
He laughs a little, chest rosy and rising and falling for vital breaths to calm himself.
“Are you okay?”
He nods with that adorable little smile you love, “Mmhm.”
“You want to say like this for a second?”
“...Please?”
“Okay. I need to catch my breath too.”
You press your body flush against Hyunjin’s chest letting him hold your sweating bodies together. Every few seconds or so, one of you would shake with little aftershocks from your orgasms.
“Did I do okay?” Hyunjin asks you after some time.
“Of course. You don’t even have to ask, sweetheart” You give one last kiss on his forehead messy with stringy silver tufts.
“Okay...
...I promise to always be good for you.”

true feelings series: “last christmas” [ateez: wooyoung]
genre: angst + fluff (WARNING: mentions of terminal illness]
ficstyle: bulletpoints + series [HONGJOONG] [YUNHO] [SEONGHWA] [WOOYOUNG]
prompt: you didn’t want to tell wooyoung about your illness, so you wanted to give him one last happy memory of you two together
note: intentional lowercases / SORRY I AM NOT GOING TO WRITE FOR REQUESTS ANYMORE, I HOPE THAT YOU CAN UNDERSTAND AND THAT YOU WILL STILL READ MY WORKS WHEN I GET OUT OF THIS DEPRESSING WRITER’S BLOCK
you smiled from the couch you were bundled up on as you watched wooyoung laced the lights around the trees
“wooyoung, why don’t you take a break? I made you hot cocoa..”
he immediately drops everything and dashes over to cuddle with you
“what would I do without you?” he asks as he nuzzles his face in the crook of your neck
you were smiling but you were hurting inside
the real question is what would you do without wooyoung?
you met him one year ago on christmas eve
you were walking out the hospital, you had just got word that you had only one year and a couple months left to live
you tried not to look so sad but the tears just wouldn’t stop
an adorable penguin mascot jumped in front of you and started to dance
you couldn’t help but laugh at the sudden performance
“there you go, you shouldn’t be so sad on christmas eve!”
you nodded as you tried to wipe your tears away
“hold on one second, I gotta be return this suit and I’ll meet you back here in a few, okay?”
you could trust this person, right?
nothing bad would happen to you since you were in the middle of the hospital plaza so you nodded once more and waited for the anonymous mascot wearer
“hey!”
you turned to see a handsome young guy jogging towards you, “I’m off work now.. you seem a little better..”
surely he was mistaking you for someone else, “um I think you’ve got the wrong person..”
he started dancing similarly to the penguin mascot, “remember me now?”
you chuckled out soft white puffs of clouds
“yeah..”
“I didn’t think that you were gonna wait for me.. you know, I’m a stranger after all..” the guy ruffled the hair on the back of his head
he seemed shy all of a sudden
“well.. what do you want with me?” you didn’t mean to sound so curt but your mind was running through places that would only happen in movies
“um.. I noticed you walking into the hospital and you know.. I’m out here dancing for 5 hours in this penguin suit so I saw you walking back out... and I saw you crying..”
“there are so many people walking in and out of the hospital... how did you even notice me?”
“who wouldn’t notice someone as beautiful as you?”
you turned down at your hands to hide your blushing face
you would blame the cold weather for your redden face if he asked
“is everything alright?” the guy bent down to try to catch your eyes
“I.. um.. I visited someone very close to me here at the hospital.. and there was some bad news.. and I don’t have much time with them..”
you blurted out a lie but there’s no harm in lying to a stranger, you thought
“how much time do they have left?” the guy made himself comfortable next to you; not too close, not too far
“a little over a year...”
“well you should make the time you have left with them worth remembering.. memories are everything.. now~”
he got up from his seat and held his hand out
“let’s go bring that frown upside down!”
you were reluctant to take his hand, “I don’t even know you..”
“but would you like to? I would like to get to know you.. if you gave me the chance..”
maybe you should give him a chance, you should be spontaneous and spend your time doing the things you’ve always wanted to do
“I don’t see why not,” you smiled as you took his hand
he wrapped your arm to link it into his, “i’m wooyoung.. sorry for the late introduction, princess”
“and i’m y/n...”
you spend a magical night with him
and after that night, you spent that week with him
and after that week, you spent that month with him
and that month became months
and now here we are, a full circle back to this night
christmas eve
and wooyoung still didn’t know about your illness
you hid it as much as you could
you built lies upon lies until it was so thick that you couldn’t shoulder the burden anymore
but you had to
for wooyoung
“remember the day we met for the first time?” wooyoung asked after taking a sip of his hot cocoa
you ran your fingers through his hair
“of course I do.. you were my knight in shining penguin suit..” you smiled trying to suppress a cough
“I was the handsomest penguin but hey, I got you something! hold on one sec, kay?”
wooyoung dashed upstairs
you took that time to cough into your handkerchief; blood stained it
you quickly shoved it into your pocket when you heard him coming back
“heard you coughing, are you okay?”
“yeah, I just choked on some hot cocoa..”
“just making sure you’re okay.. I don’t know about you but I want to you to open your present right now instead of tomorrow morning..”
you’re gonna miss his impatience
“sure, whatever you want..”
wooyoung gently placed the beautifully wrapped gift on your lap
you’re gonna miss his attention to detail
he was always into arts and crafts
you took your time to open it
you wanted to savor every moment you had with him
tears started to form, threatening to spill from your eyes
“I thought you’d like it..” wooyoung smiled widely and he couldn’t stop smiling
it was a fairly large snow globe; inside were you and wooyoung building a snowman version of the exact replica of the penguin mascot wooyoung wore when you first met him
there were other small details and objects that were either the inside jokes that you two shared and your favorite things
(the song that played was a music box version of your favorite song aurora by ateez)
“I absolutely love it..” you were speechless and those were the only other words other than “thank you” and “I love you”
wooyoung pulled you into a side hug and kissed your head, “merry christmas, princess”
“merry christmas, wooyoung..”
“now, where’s my gift,” he burst out into aegyo which caused you to cringe
“you can open it tomorrow~”
“what?! you know I can’t wait that long..”
you held both of his hands and placed them on your cheeks, “please?”
wooyoung rolled his eyes and pulled you close so that your face was hidden in the crook of his neck, “sure, sure, I guess..”
wooyoung loved the holidays; he wanted to be in charge of everything from cooking to decorations
so when he was cooking, you took this time to relieve yourself from a year worth of burden into a letter
you placed the letter in between the ribbon that held the present you got him together
after dinner, you and wooyoung cozied up next to the christmas tree as you two watched the snow fall layers upon layers
you pretended that everything was okay up until wooyoung brought up a sensitive subject, “so how’s your cousin doing? are you going to see them this christmas? since it’s their last?”
he was drawing circles on the small of your back as you tried to slow your heartbeat down
you bit the inside of your cheeks before answering, “no.. they’re.. spending their last christmas in paris... “
“christmas in paris.. that sounds like something on my bucketlist..” you felt wooyoung’s smile through his words
“that does sound amazing..”
“we should do it!”
your heart felt like someone wrung it like a towel, “what, christmas in paris?”
wooyoung nodded as his head shifted into the sofa; he was falling asleep
“I would love to go to paris for christmas with you..” you murmured
“I’d love to spend the rest of my life with you.. but I can’t..” you whispered even more quietly
you waited until you could hear him snore before you slipped away from his grasp
you kissed him one last time, trying to hold your tears back and trying to keep as quiet as you could
you had your go bag in your car; you decided to fly off to a quiet medical facility where you could spend the last few months that you had without worrying anyone
and hopefully the doctors can learn something from your illness so that no one else can go through the pain that you experienced
that night, wooyoung had a dream
you two were in paris for christmas
you two indulged yourselves in good cuisine
shopped like nobodies business
those moments flashed by like fairy lights
in the dream, wooyoung turned your face from looking up at the eiffle tower and took a breath
“y/n, you are everything I could ever ask for in a partner in crime.. everything you do, everything from your head to your toes.. makes me just want to ask you one question..”
he bent down on one knee; he didn’t care that his knees were getting cold and wet from the snow
“y/n.. will you marry me?”
you clasped your hands as your eyes glistened as the lights reflected off of them
“wooyoung.. I would love to.. I’d love to spend of the rest of my life with you... but I can’t...”
wooyoung felt himself falling; the abyss swallowing him and he could feel it in his stomach
the hardwood floor woke him up, he had fallen off of the couch
and he found himself all by himself
he looked over at the table that you placed the snow globe and it was gone
he frantically looked for you
the anxiety was eating himself alive
he found a post-it note on the christmas tree
“open your present without me!!”
maybe you had went out to get some fresh coffee, he saw the post-it note as a good sign that you would be back
wooyoung sat there and opened the gift you wrapped for him
the letter fell out and his hands shook as he reached for it
“wooyoung, my knight in shining armor. there was nothing that I could ask more than to ask for your forgiveness and this is why.
december 24th of last year, I went into the hospital hoping for good news that they had treatment for me and my condition. I wanted to grab onto any hope that I could. I didn’t want my illness to define who I was. but when my doctor told me of my limited time left on this earth, I couldn’t help but let go of all hope. there was no cousin who went to paris for christmas. that person with limited time for memories was me.
I left the hospital planning to coop myself up in my apartment until my expiry date. until I met you. day 1, you were just a stranger who I didn’t see the use in telling the truth to. but within a couple of weeks, you became someone I didn’t want to ever lose. I wanted to create as many memorable moments with you as I can, so that when I leave this earth, I only have good moments to hold onto.
I want you to continue making memorable moments without me. I know I’m being selfish and I know this isn’t fair to you.. but this was the best way for us to part.. someday, I’ll just be a memory to you. thank you for the best 365 days anyone could ever ask for. and I hope that you meet someone that will replace me. thank you for giving me the chance to meet you.
i’ll always love you, wooyoung. yours truly, y/n”
wooyoung couldn’t breathe
he wanted to look for you but he didn’t know where to start
he didn’t even know how to feel
should he be mad at you?
was it wrong to still be in love with you?
was it even possible to love someone else more than you?
he almost forgot the gift that you got for him
with trembling fingers, he opened the present
it was tablet; inside the tablet there was only one app
instagram; he opened it
you created a private account to post every moment that you had spent with each other
there was snippets of videos and photos; it was like a modern-day scrapbook
he looked at the most recent photo that was posted last night, it was a series of pictures of you and wooyoung cuddling beside the christmas tree
it was where you shared your last conversation
that was the moment wooyoung made himself a promise to you and he was certain that he would fulfill it in your name
a whole year passed by
you were probably already gone by that point; but wooyoung didn’t want to believe that
he could still feel that you were out there, looking up at the same snowy skies as him
wooyoung was spending christmas in paris by himself; physically, but spiritually he was in paris with you
“did you miss me?”
wooyoung has been hearing your voice every since you left him but this one felt closer and clearer
he’s always turned around and you were never there
wooyoung knew that there was 1 in a million chance that you were going to be right there, smiling at him
but he would turn around every single time
he thought he was seeing things
he thought that he was getting delusional
“y/n?”
“I know I should’ve said somethi-”
wooyoung didn’t let you finish your sentence
he ran into you and hugged you so hard
scared that if he let go, you would disappear again
“don’t you have questions for me?” your muffles were drowned out by his puffer jacket
“I do, but right now, I don’t want to let you go.. and right now, I only have one question for you..”
wooyoung gets on one knee, ignoring how quickly his knee felt frozen
he kept a tight hold of your left hand
“I love you and I always will.. there’s no one out there for me but you..y/n, you are everything I could ever ask for in a partner in crime.. everything you do, everything from your head to your toes.. makes me just want to ask you one question.. will you marry me? I’ll get a ring for you, I promise- ” ”
wooyoung kept on rambling on and on; probably from shock and adrenaline
you thought he was mad at you all this time
you thought he forgot and moved on without you
you thought there was a 1 in a million chance that he was going to be in paris for christmas
but you were going to take it
if there was a miracle that cured you from your illness, then maybe there’s another room in your life for a miracle
wooyoung’s eyes lit up when you nodded with joyous tears running down your face
wooyoung pulls you close and kisses you
“don’t ever leave me again..y/n, please..” he whispers between kisses
“I promise..” you smiled
you’re so thankful that you have many more christmas’s to spend with your knight in shining penguin suit
End.

Happy Holidays (Nathan Young x Reader)
A/N: Just a fun little Christmas party with the crew, referencing some things from the Christmas Special but not most of them, because we’re pretending they had a bit more of a nice, normal holiday. Winter Prompts: Gingerbread; Mistletoe Word Count: 2118 Cross Posted to AO3: here
Humming along to the carols belting out from the tv speakers in the next room, you bustled about the kitchen. Nathan had been barred from “assisting” you today while you made a variety of treats to bring to Simon and Alisha’s Christmas Eve get together later, after he ate as much of your sugar cookie dough as you managed to get onto the baking sheet. Your friends had been surprised when you offered to handle all of the desserts for the shindig, but you loved to bake and always looked for any excuse to. Besides, it had been a while since you’d done something elaborate, and you had a plan that, honestly, your friends would probably just dub cheesy.
The plan was gingerbread, but you set aside seven of the cutouts that you were going to turn into cookie-portraits. You wanted to make sure these were perfect, carefully rolling bits of gingerbread to create Nathan and Alisha’s curls, using a fine-point food color pen to draw on Curtis’s cross, custom mixing the shade of blue icing for Simon’s eyes. It was incredibly time-consuming, but honestly, you loved the work, and couldn’t wait to see their faces.
You were piping icing on some of the more generic gingerbreads when Nathan’s voice startled you, making you jump and leave a mess of icing smeared across one.
“Y/N!” you boyfriend whined from the next room. “Ye must be done by now. Ye’ve been at it for hours and I’m so bored!”
“Have you wrapped the gifts?” you called back.
You had a pretty good guess what his answer would be, but you weren’t letting him get away with doing no work to get ready for the party, or for Christmas dinner with his mom and her boyfriend (a prospect that still had you sweating, since this would be your first time meeting them as Nathan’s girlfriend).
“Why d’ they need ta be wrapped? It’s just gonna get torn off again. Figured we’d just stuff em in some leftover takeaway bags.”
“Nathan, we are not wrapping our presents to our friends and family in shopping bags.” You came to the kitchen doorway to glare at him, hands planted on your hips.
Suddenly he sat up from where he lounged on the couch, looking at you with a hungry gaze that made you swallow nervously, even as your stomach twisted in anticipation.
“Ya know,” he mused, running his tongue over his bottom lip, “I’m not one for food in the bedroom, but I might make an exception with ya lookin all cute and frostinged like that.”
“Don’t even start. I know what you’re trying to do, and it’s not going to work,” you scolded.
He quirked an eyebrow, rising to his feet and stepping closer, a challenge written across his face.
“Isn’t it?” he asked, smirking as he got close enough that he was looming over you.
“Simon and Alisha’s party is in an hour and I’m nowhere near ready, the cookies aren’t done, and you still need to wrap the gifts for Secret Santa. I will not be distracted.”
“Yer face says otherwise. I see the way yer checking out the goods.” He leaned in, eyes drifting to your mouth. “We can be quick. Or fashionably late.”
“No. Absolutely not. I know how hard Alisha worked putting the whole thing together, I am not ruining it by being late because you're too horny for your own good.”
Suddenly he surged forward, licking a long stripe along your cheek. Recoiling, you grimaced and wiped aggressively at your face in an attempt to get the saliva off.
“What the fuck was that?!”
“I told ye, you look good enough to eat, all covered in frosting. Even better than the cookies. Couldn't help myself.” He shrugged, shoving his hands nonchalantly in his jeans pockets.
“You're disgusting.”
“Ye love it.” He grinned cheekily at you.
As much as you hated to admit it sometimes, he was right. Rolling your eyes, you headed back into the kitchen to finish decorating the gingerbread, trying your best not to think about his tongue on your skin, cheek or elsewhere.
--
“You didn't have to wear the sweater, you know,” you teased Nathan as the two of you rode the elevator up to Simon and Alisha's loft.
“I know, but ye gave it to me, so it's special. Plus it'll drive the others nuts with how hideous it is!” He chuckled, pre-amused at their reactions.
“Terrible,” you said, shaking your head ruefully.
He blew you a cheeky kiss before hauling open the door and making an ‘after you’ gesture. The next few moments were a blur of greeting hugs - especially from Alisha who was so excited to be able to actually hug you that she actually willingly gave one to Nathan as well - and being bustled about to set your things down (coats on the bed, presents under the tree, goodies on the counter). Keeping the littlest box with you, you sat down on the couch, and your friends gathered round curiously.
“I went a little overboard,” you said sheepishly as everyone settled in, Kelly on one side of you and Curtis on the other, the others taking up whatever spaces they could. “So...I made y’all something.”
They all leaned in as you worked the lid off the little tin, revealing your gingerbread creations.
“Oh!” Kelly shouted in surprise. “Y’ made little gingerbread us?”
“They’re so cute!” Alisha added, reaching in.
You grinned, passing them around, particularly enjoying Nikki’s shock that you had made one of her too.
“Of course I did,” you answered with a shrug. “You’re one of us now.”
“I didn’t know you could bake like this,” Curtis said, inspecting the details on his cookie.
You shrugged. “It’s just art in another medium. I love to, though. Used to want to open a bakery as a kid.”
You felt a familiar green gaze on you, Nathan watching in surprise and delight that there was still more for him to learn about you after all your time together.
“But you didn’t make one of yourself?” Simon asked.
“Yeah, I ran out of dough. Besides...self-portraits never come out well.”
“Is it cannibalism to eat these?” Nathan asked suddenly. “Because they look delicious.”
“Since it’s yourself, it would be autocannibalism,” Simon corrected.
“Unless you’re made of gingerbread, I don’t think it’s anything,” Nikki countered, rolling her eyes. “Except enjoying a cookie.” She turned to you and offered a rare smile. “It really was sweet, Y/N, thanks.”
--
You sipped at your eggnog, feeling warm and tingly from the heavy dose of rum Nathan had included when he poured it for you, amusing yourself by conjuring mistletoe over your friends’ heads at random. Curtis and Nikki seemed done with your antics after you had made them kiss about four times (every time Nikki seemed about to start in on Nathan), and you had played it safe with Kelly and Andrew since you weren’t sure where their relationship stood (still in that adorable newborn awkwardness if both their blushes were anything to judge by). Alisha and Simon on the other hand seemed thrilled by your game, basking in the sheer joy of being able to touch each other and happy to kiss as often as you grew something to prompt it.
Suddenly, Nathan flopped down beside you, bouncing the whole sofa as he brought his curly head to rest on your shoulder.
“I’m bored, Y/N,” he whined.
“You’re always bored, Nathan. Unless we’re shagging. And I’m not about to do that here,” you countered, rolling your eyes.
“Yeah, I’ve noticed,” he grumbled.
“Excuse me?”
He was silent, and you could feel him shift uncomfortably, settling further into the cushions and crossing his arms petulantly.
“Nathan…” you said threateningly, ready to demand he talk to you if you had to and sleep on that very couch if he wouldn’t.
“I just can’t help noticin’,” he grumbled. “That everyone else is gettin’ plenty o’ kisses, courtesy of ye, but I’m not gettin’ any.”
You laughed. “When you say it like that it sounds like I’ve been snogging all of our friends.”
“That’s not what I mean. But I’m glad my pain amuses ya.”
You rolled your eyes, still laughing at his dramatics. But he was right about one thing. Somehow you two had managed to go the whole party without kissing. Suddenly he thrust himself up off the sofa, still clearly frustrated.
“I’m gettin’ more cookies,” he said, half-storming off.
“Is he really upset that you haven’t spent the whole party snogging him?” Alisha said a moment later, sitting down in the spot Nathan had vacated.
“Apparently,” you sighed. “I should probably go talk to him…”
“Let him stew for a bit,” she said with a shake of her head. “He’s an ass and totally deserves it.”
--
Twenty minutes later, you were surprised to notice that Nathan still hadn’t come back, and glancing around the room, that there was no sign of him. Your gut twisting nervously at the idea that he might have actually been upset with you, you started asking around to see if anyone knew where he’d gotten to. Curtis told you that he went out for a smoke and you grimaced, sliding your boots back on to follow your errant boyfriend.
“Nathan?” you called into the darkness, squinting to see if you could spot any sign of him and shivering at the winter chill. “Are you out here?”
“Over here,” he answered.
Following the sound of his voice, and now spotting the faint glow of orange from the end of his cigarette, you made your way over to where he leaned against the side of the building.
“Hey,” you said, pausing to stand in front of him, hands shoved into the pockets of your jeans.
“What are ye doing out here, Y/N?” he asked, reaching out to pull you closer.
Instinctively, you stepped into his space. Trying not to let him feel you shiver, you wrapped your arms around his waist under his coat, feeling immediately warmer.
“Looking for you. I felt bad about our little tiff earlier…” you admitted sheepishly.
“Ah, don’t worry about it. It was my fault anyways.”
You bit your lip, hating how sad he sounded when he said it and afraid it was about to turn into one of those self-deprecating moments.
“We’re supposed to be partners. I should have been paying more attention to how you were feeling,” you argued.
“What I’m feelin like right now is that we should get inside before ye turn into a popsicle.”
“Nathan, I’m serious.”
“So am I, Y/N. It’s fine, let’s just go back up.” He wrapped an arm around you to hold you closer and leaned in to purr in your ear. “Unless you’re ready to blow the place and go home? I can finally give you your Christmas present?”
You shivered with desire as much as the cold. “I left my coat upstairs.”
“Who cares? I’ll keep ye warm while we walk.”
“It’ll take two minutes to go back for it. And then we can say goodnight.”
“Fine, but I’m only comin with to make sure ye don’t get dragged back into a conversation and forget.”
--
You sensed it before the elevator door even opened, and couldn’t help the sly smile that crept across your face.
“What’s with that look?” Nathan asked, arm still in place around your middle.
“Nothing,” you said impishly as you stepped out into the room.
For once your upward gaze wasn’t solely to look at your boyfriend, instead moving past him to the plant hanging above your heads.
“Well, that,” you said, nodding to it.
Thick brows knitted in confusion, he followed your eyes.
“Oh ho ho ho, what’s this then?” he turned back to you with a smirk. “Trying to con me inta kissin ye, are we?”
“Nope. That sprig? Wasn’t me.”
“What do ya think we should do then?”
“With all the shit we’ve been through this year, I can tell you what we shouldn’t do, and that’s tempt bad luck.”
Not wanting to give him a chance to respond (after all, banter was fun, but you had better things in mind), you stretched onto your tiptoes to plant your mouth on his. Kissing you back, Nathan tightened his grip to pull you flush against him and ran his tongue over your lower lip. Eagerly, you parted your lips for him and he groaned as your tongues danced together.
“Alright, that’s enough,” Nikki chimed in after a moment, reminding you that you and Nathan were still at a party and decidedly not alone. “Some of us want to keep down our Christmas dinner.”

Small Town Swoons
Hello buttercups! Here is the big fat project I was talking about. I am giving you snippets and teasers of the whole thing, just to let you know what you’re all getting yourself into.
There are some spicy tidbits here and there, so I would suggest only mature (18+) people read and/or engage with this post.
I’ll be starting with Yoongi since his piece is really in the holiday spirit and I’m super hella inspired to write it, but don’t worry, Steamy waters is still coming (just know that I’m not done publishing stuff for the night 👀)
Let me know what you think about this project, what story you like the most and which one you really really look forward to reading 💕✨
Just in case you need it, here is my masterlist
Enjoy 💜
Apple of My Pie — Jin
In the bakery and café near the university many students barge in, desperate for coffee and the delicious apple pies served there once October comes. Some of them barge in for the sweet sight of the owner, still mysteriously single. Little do you know that he’s been pining after you for years, since you ran into his café in a slow, rainy Sunday morning, drenched like a stray kitten, asking only for friendly help. Friendship sparks easily and his comfort tastes as sweet as autumn apples. That’s how you find yourself flatmates, watching movies with his secret recipe hot cocoa on Saturday evenings and waking up to the delicious scent of his pies on Sunday morning. But the sudden apparition of a rival makes you wonder, what would it be like to fall asleep in his bed every night?
Mold Me New — Taehyung
Divorce is a mess, especially when you’re so young and you had bet your life on your high school crush. All those things you never had to learn are scary now: dating, friends with benefits, all those secret rules on social interactions and flirting. But then your friends gift you a clay modelling lesson at the local pottery. Your teacher looks like a quiet, grumpy man who slowly warms up to you, offering you his kind smiles and gentle laughs. Right when fear that your lack in courtship manners might cost you your greatest chance at a new happiness, his lessons indirectly turn into small advice, and suddenly it feels like his hands are shaping your heart into the perfect, beautiful whole you needed. And to show him your gratitude, you’re more than willing to gift the artist his creation.
“Don’t let it dry too much. Too much water will mess it up. It will become too pliant and it won’t hold up.” That was it. The rule to love. You had bathed him in reassurance and affection, and just like that he had melted underneath your touch, and he had turned into nothing. And the love had run out. “Every shape has its specific requirements.” He explained, dipping his hands in the basin and letting the droplets fall from his fingertips. “Wet hands, but not drenched.” Once he was happy with the result he sat up, his foot starting a small pressure on the pedal. “See, here we go. The clay will show how much water it needs. Easy on the pedal. Very slow. You’re warming it up. Be gentle. You’re not sure it’s good. Just like with people. Easy at first, and once it works you speed up.” He smiled at the material underneath his hands. “Gentle. Easy.” He said, his sinewy fingers gently pressing into the art piece to be. His fingers seemed to stretch and bend imperceptibly, as if he was feeling the very texture of the material, and of the final result he wanted to obtain. “That’s the secret to good things.”
The Shrew, Untamed — Jimin
Everyone gets married in small towns. The hairdresser’s daughter, the butcher’s niece, the doctor’s granddaughter. Even your best friend. And someone has to organise all the weddings. You have taken part in so many it is unnerving. You’re not asking for a husband, a simple fuckbuddy would suffice. You don’t even need someone with skill, you just need to have sex with a human. Though your goal seems unattainable and life apparently truly sucks, the petty florist where you order the flower arrangements offers you a beacon of hope, comforting you and spoiling you whenever you visit his shop, condescending to your every whim. Will he satisfy your every wish or will you have to supervision your best friend’s wedding on the verge of sanity?
“Sit down, sweet pea.” He said, offering you his chair. He immediately stood behind you, digging his fingers into your shoulders, massaging them. He always smelled like greenery. It was relaxing. “Who pissed on your roses, tiger?” He asked, his thumbs drawing circles at the base of your neck. You moaned and closed your eyes. “Poor baby. So stressed.” He purred, laughing. “Portia is getting married.” You groaned. He ohed. “Your friend, Portia?” You frowned and pouted. “That bitch. Portia.” You growled. He laughed a silvery sound. “It’s your best friend.” “It’s a stressed out insult. She wants me to plan it. Jimin, I am so tired of watching people getting married.” He kneaded the nerves near to your spine. “It’s a professional hazard, baby’s breath.” His finger stilled as he reached the middle of your back without finding the clasp of your bra. He moved upwards, ignoring the small detail. “It’s the third in two weeks. I can’t. Is everybody getting married this spring?” You asked, your head rolling forward. “I’m tired. Stressed. Grumpy.” You whine. “Baby, you have your sugarcane at home, use it.” He said, referring to your swirl shaped dildo. You shook your head. “It’s the warmth. Human touch. Sympathy.” Ask me, please — Jimin mentally begged — I’ll be so sweet to you. “And now I even need a plus one for Portia’s wedding. Lest she pairs me up with her cousin. Did I mention that he’s thirty and bald?” You sighed. “I can help.” He said. “With the Plus one.” He clarified. “Don’t expect me to get my fingers in your pie, blossom.” He stated. You shook your head. “Your loss.” You tutted. His loss, for sure. Not like you wanted him massaging your breasts as you sucked him off, laying on your white silk sheets, his dulcet moans filling your lonely room and your empty
Natural Connection — Namjoon
The city sucks. And before you definitely choose to resign from your job, you spend the money earned with your all-work-and-no-play attitude in a reinvigorating holiday in a natural resort in the woods. What you find is true heaven on earth, an eden of wonders and explorations. When you meet your guide, who will follow you and you alone, you almost cannot believe your luck. The closed-off man leads you through all the breathtaking sights of your location, offering you emotions and landscapes unrivalled — both in terms of wildlife and... well, humans? The steamy atmosphere seems to keep growing hotter together with the summer days, and before you can think twice your big friendly giant helps you get rid of the hots. What happens when your Adam and Eve idyllium gets interrupted by a ruckus of stag-partying jocks?
Namjoon knew your average blood pressure at rest and under effort, your shoe size, your weight and height. Still when he found you right before him he could barely believe the sight of you. He knew you were small but this small? He was surprised. Amazed. Completely dazzled by your size. “Uhm. Kim Namjoon?” You asked, hesitant. God, even your voice was small — he noticed. As you got even closer, he realised you barely reached his sternum. He was endeared. He imagined how hugging you would feel. Why was he imagining to hug a stranger? “Hello! Welcome to the Valley!” He said, offering you his hand. You took it and shook it energetically. “Thank you. I assume you will be my guide during my stay.” You commented. “Exactly. I'll be your coach and your guide through the whole experience.” “Perfect.” You smiled. He was dumbstruck by it. So sweet and bright. You noticed he had a nice voice. And a kind smile. He looked like a very gentle giant. “Have you brought any specific equipment with you or would you prefer to use the one we offer?” “I have trekking boots and walking sticks. You know, basic stuff that's difficult to find when you're the size of a teapot.” He laughed a loud belly laugh, which surprised you and pleased you. “Okay, we can head to the hall and chat about your activity plan.” He said, leading you. Walking behind him was definitely a hard challenge, both because his legs were kilometric — and damn fine — and because how could you not stare at that ass right in front of your gaze, clad in oh-so tight shorts? Once he realized you were basically running behind him, he turned, a bit confused. And then embarrassed. “Sorry,” he smiled sheepishly, taking shorter steps. "Don't worry, it's okay. I'm a fast walker." You stated. He grinned. He barely stopped himself from murmuring a 'cute'. You were adorable.
Ink ‘n’ Run — Jungkook
People find awful ways to inculcate mean insecurities in our lives. It is to get rid of insecurity that you head to the talented tattooist in a small town near your campus, ready to ink your fears away. Ready to start from zero, you let yourself enjoy a night out clubbing and a steamy one night stand with a tattoed god. Hit by the morning-after regrets, you run away before he wakes up. Little do you know that he’ll be the man you’ll be spending several hours underneath, half-naked as he inks you. Such a shame that you keep running away each time he is ready to ask you for a date. And that he keeps running away after you convince yourself to concede him one. Will you manage to let each other see that you click perfectly or will you let that night be just an accident?
“Oh. You’re back. Lovely to see you, how can I help you?” He looks sweet. God, he was sweet, of course he looks sweet; you thought. He was the most gentle man you had ever been with. Wicked hips, but such a sweet mouth. “Uhm, I have an appointment?” You said, showing him the business card with the date and time of your appointment. “Oh.” His expression was the perfect depiction of confusion. “Uhm. I guess you can come into my studio, then. Do you have someone with you? Would you like Daisy to come in?” He said, looking at the girl sitting at the reception table. “No, I’m cool.” You forced yourself to form a tiny, polite smile on your face. As he walked ahead of you you noticed the way his tight black t-shirt hugged his narrow waist. And his wonderful, jeans-clad, toned ass. God, he had rammed into you like a mad man that night. You shook your head, trying to bring yourself back to reality. Meanwhile, his mind was fuelled by millions of questions. Why had you run? Were you freaked out by what was happening? Were you as affected as he was at the idea of him working on you? Did you think he was a fuckboy? Would you let him take you out on a date? Would you let him fuck you again? Wait, scratch the last one.
Head over Heals — Hoseok
You are the most talented ice skater of your state. Or rather, you were. Your career was harshly interrupted by an unfortunate accident. Healing from the hurtful events takes strong nerves and positive energy. Luckily, your physiotherapist — the neighbour of your childhood home — is the most positive, enthusiastic person. New feelings bloom like daisies on a warm spring morning, while old feelings rekindle and light your way back home like a field of fireflights, back to places that you’ve always loved. It takes little time to get used again to his sweet energy and his gentle hands, healing your body and your soul. It takes even less time to fall head over heels for him.
“What changed?” He asked, drying your tear with his thumb. “I don’t know. It feels like it changed.” He smiled. “You’re still the same to me. Same bright eyed little girl running around in a summer dress, smelling like honey shampoo and sun cream. You feel like home. I think nothing has been okay since you were gone.” Your heart took a second to melt and resolidify around that new truth. “Hobi.” His eyes were glittering. “I think I always had a soft spot for you. You and your knees always scraped, the small curls framing your face, the way your braids came undone that night as we were driving away after prom in the convertible your parents ran away in when they eloped.” He looked so sad. And so beautiful. “Hoseok, I never forgot you, you know. You were my first.” You confessed. “And you were mine.” He replied. He paused. “We were perfect.” “We were.” You replied. We still could be. We are.
Sugar and Spice — Yoongi
A new girl moves into town, her goal starting her life from scrap. And then on a foggy autumn night she ventures in the local pub, where she meets a cute, tattooed bartender who happens to be the local sweetheart. Fate — and the sweet granny next door — seem to push them together; it’s only a matter of time before feelings bloom and attraction becomes too intense to resist. The magic of a small town, and that loneliness that they share and understand so deeply, bring them close at the most wonderful time of the year. Love can blossom even in the dead of winter and who knows, maybe they’ll find a new life by the time of the new year?
“How does it feel to live in a small town?” You asked, stretching your legs out the flannel blanket. Sunlight came in through the yellow leaves of the apple trees. “Like time doesn’t really exist. Until you don’t have any left and suddenly your friends are getting married and having children and all you have is a useless piece of paper stating that you’re a doctor.” He said. “But it’s okay. It’s lovely, at times like this.” He said, looking at the sky. “Marriage and kids are overrated.” You said, laying down. He looked at you, your eyes closed, your hair coming out of his beanie, currently covering your head. “Don’t leave me alone here.” You had a beauty he had never known. Or that maybe he had seen in his mother. That rough, tough beauty that looks dangerous from afar. Delicate from up close. You weren’t gracious. You weren’t cobwebs and golden hair and clouds. You were the ground, the trees, the stone. You were the mountains capped in ice, beautiful and so endangered. Still, so steady. You were the forest, eternal. Nothing could marr you. No man, no humanly disgrace. You would weather and transform, like nature does. Maybe he was idealising you, maybe he was giving you all those traits he had always wished in a woman. “Stop staring at me. Lay down. Enjoy your seconds before you turn into a fifty-something lonesome worm.” You teased. He laid. Your hand found his. “I’ll tell you how a small town feels like, based on the opinion of a girl from a big city.” He exhaled a laugh. “It’s comfort. Like when it rains outside but you’re in your bed and you’re warm and you don’t have to get up. You can simply lay.” He rolled onto his side, staring at your eyelashes. If I blink, will she disappear?

Jesse McCree x Male!Reader - Peace on Earth
A/N: I just had to write something seasonal, couldn't help myself. Sorry that there's not much writing going on these days, I've got a major art block for both drawing and writing-
You sigh as you look around. Everything is so peaceful.
Sure, your jacket's too thin for the weather, your hair is slowly becoming damp from all the snow falling and your hands feel like they're falling of, but else? Your heart feels nothing but warm.
You hear the church bell ringing and take a look at your wristwatch. For the fact that you are spending christmas eve alone...you couldn't imagine a better way to spend it.
As if you had a choice when it came to being alone today anyway. Jesse was too far away and coming all the way back to you was always far too risky.
You close your eyes for a moment, just to listen. The bright fairy lights had spread sparkles across your vision.
There's music playing, people are talking, the wind is blowing through the streets. The faint sliding of ice-skates coming from the ice-rink, paired with the sound of children's and adults laughter alike. Truly the most wonderful time of the year.
All trouble seems so far away at this very moment. There's no fear. No dread - nothing bad that had happened in the past year seems to matter as the next song starts and you open your eyes again.
You pull your phone out of your pocket, noticing a string of notifications - you slightly curse yourself out for always putting your phone on silent. Every single message was from no other than your beloved Jesse McCree. A few missed calls as well.
You grit your teeth together and open the chat, to see just what was going on.
'Hun, were exactly are you?'
'The town's small and yet-'
'You know how I said I can't come over?'
'Did you turn your phone of?'
'Darling?'
'Baby, light of my life, answer me how else am I supposed to find you'
That went on for some time. Your mind shifts between excitement and self shame as you realize that the last message was sent twenty minutes ago.
You sigh and decide to call him. You've never had anyone pick up a call that fast.
"Baby?", Jesse sounds just a little lost and you can already picture him confused out of his mind, always having had trouble finding his way through your hometown.
Then it turns out that you really had no idea what to say.
"Hey, uh," you begin, eloquently as ever "So, uhm, sorry for not, replying, y'know tend to put my phone on silent.", you chuckle out in embarrassment.
"If you're still trying to find me I- I'm next to the merry-go-round.", you finish.
You hear Jesse letting out a light laugh and pull your eyebrows together in confusion. Had you said something wrong?
"You look real cute when you're all confused like this, Darlin'," he says and right now you feel like your eyebrows are going to grow together in the middle if your expression just keeps growing increasingly more baffled.
"Over by the cotton candy stand.", Jesse chuckles and you immediately look up from the ground, exactly knowing where said stand was. You'd just eaten cotton candy earlier.
And you almost couldn't believe it - there he is, in all his glory. You can see him smile and immediately end the call, shove your phone back into your pocket and start making your way past all the other people.
You do your best to avoid bumping into anyone, but frankly, you were being a bit hectic on account of the love of your life that you hadn't seen in several months so close to you.
You're the slightest bit out of breath when you reach the stand and just stare at Jesse in complete awe for a second, taking in the sight of him. Snowflakes had settled in his hair and beard and he was smiling that wonderfully soft and warm smile - your heart practically melts.
"You just gonna stand there, or am I gonna get a hug?"
You feel your own expression growing softer before going all in for the hug - you cling to Jesse, burying your face in the crook of his neck, taking in his scent. Jesse's arms wrap around you, almost squeezing all life out of you - not that you minded. You let out a satisfied sigh as you let loose a little to look into his eyes again.
"Missed you so much, Sweetheart.", Jesse sighs, his eyes focused on you so intensely. So filled with adoration and love - you staring back at him with the same.
"I'm so glad to be here"
Peace on Earth, can it be, years from now - perhaps we'll see

Christmas Compliments (Arthur/Joker x F!Reader)
A/N: After finishing this, I’m convinced my writing has embarked down a steep and steady slope of regression.
Word count: ~1200
———————————————————————
“And don’t forget the plans we have scheduled tonight.”
Bewilderment tickles Arthur’s face with a subtle arch of his cyan brow. Peering over a hunched shoulder, he bores his groggy gaze into the back of your skull, drumming duet of his knuckles rapping against weathered marble, momentarily ceased.
“Plans?”, he questions, tonelessly.
Stilling your occupied hands at the oven, you turn to return a playful glare at your beloved fiancé, planting the seed of confusion further into his painted frown when you raise a mitted hand for closer inspection, making a gesture with the left index to imitate a reading from the palm.
“Yep!” Sarcasm scarcely contained.
“Says it right here.” For good measure, you make a show of pointing said index near the mitt’s hem, a list of written elements made evident only to you.
“21:45: Pillow fight.”
Arthur dislodges himself from the kitchen counter, assuming full stature. Striding to you with a lazy smirk, you don’t resist when he makes a swift unveiling of the warm mitt from your still hovering hand. When he advances further to wrap his arms in a sly embrace, restraint yields when you move to press your now naked hand against his clothed chest.
Pulsing behind with hazardous delay, the stove was sizzling with a remainder of hearty breakfast aroma. In response to your rejection of affection, Arthur simply settles his grip to your apron-clad hips, rubbing mindless circles, caring naught to get burned by the seething cuisine. There was yet another appetiser his wolfish grin was famished for.
“I’m not sure what’s more unsettling…” he drawls. “You using military time…” You suppress a smile when his face draws closer, planting a gelid Eskimo kiss. “Or the fact that you’ve scheduled a pillow fight for us.” Raising a brow in silent suspicion.
The accent of his philtrum scar puckers in jest. Between the oven’s beeping and Arthur’s sudden distance from your person, you hadn’t a chance to respond in kind, properly scolding him for nearly sending you both ablaze, if not-so-subtly intending to make his meal inedible. Try as he might, that dwarfish stomach of his was getting a growth spurt, whether he digested or not.
From where you were standing, the underfed belly seemed already in the throes of feasting. You couldn’t help but snort when you see your beloved now stood in the middle of the living room, hip thrusting the air, lithe figure illuminated by a television programme left unattended.
An inattention that almost translated as careless relief of duty from a fresh batch of ‘Joker’ cookies made to complement the Eggs Benedict you had prepared. Taking off your right mitt and turning off the oven and stove, you turn to observe the angles and curves of his lissome figure, committing these motions to memory, however recurrent and common they may be. As a vehicle of mileage, the mind could never be trusted to endure the fleeting image of beauty in its natural, untouched state.
Thus, you interrupt the saint’s purity, begrudgingly. Marring the pristine landscape with a quizzical caress. Your silent stroll to the dancefloor whispers, ‘It takes two to tango.’ And wasn’t he born to be a terpsichorean? So why was he departing the rhythm now, lanking about, untrained in the dexterous art of ballet? Was the gore from a recent sequence of hasty murders disrupting his flow?
Ruddy the lips that purse in greeting. The fledging werewolf’s teeth flashing to a predatory grin when you approach with muted appeal at the helm. You take his hand and lead him to waltz in the quaint expanse. You submit to your baser urges, fingers clutching at his shirt with vise grip, the teal of its patterned expanse peeling slow to reveal apricot flesh.
“Oh, because you’re the Fred Astaire, right? When was the last time you danced? And no, prancing away from the occasional rodent or roach doesn’t count.”
His acid green locks unkempt, suit jacket divested, goofy grin plastered in rouge. Unearthly in masked presence. Peerless in the act of joy, without assisted medication. Now, simply a man adorned in primary colours. Fearless in the natural performance of his deviant being. This was the man you had entrusted your heart to. A lucrative token of acceptance for the impoverished souls clutching empty for the remedy that repels rejection.
“Ho, ho, ho, Mr. Grinch.” In the midst of dizzying twirls and swimming vision lost in love at first sight, snow was falling. A pair of young lovers’ eyes twinkle alight, sparking life to a tree adorned by ornaments. Spirited by the soul of altruism spreading gifts beneath.
“None of that matters right now.” For a brief spell, your lids fall heavy. A calm wave of sedated content, contagious.
“So, tell me, Santa-“
Before you could finish, Arthur wrinkles his nose in mock disgust, rumbling a groan of displeasure.
“Ugh, don’t call me that. There is nothing sexy about Santa. No amount of milk and semen-infused cookies will change that.”
A breathy chuckle slips from your lips.
“Is that your not-so-discreet way of telling me to shove those cookies up Randall’s necrotic ass? Because honestly, they’re probably too half-baked for either of us. No thanks to you.”
And in that toasty instant, the dance had concluded with a bow from both cheeky parties. The salivating aroma of encroaching confectionery submits keenly to a bittersweet scent.
“You know I have a show to attend.”
The grave monotony of his tone secured a hint of Arthur’s temporary departure. Joker had often been the favoured of either.
“Another host to give early servings of coal.”
Fortunately, not deprived a modicum of misplaced humour to stabilise the dichotomy of ego.
“Another talk show?” You sigh inwardly. Audible enough for Arthur to heed with a snaggletooth lopside. “Haven’t you exhausted your voracious taste for revenge against mediocre comedians?”
Arthur makes hurried steps to the kitchen, whistling a quiet tune, nimble fingers reaching eager for the tray of clown cookies.
“‘Revenge’ is not a word to be taken lightly, my dear. I prefer the term ‘justice’.”
Leering at you with a spiked swell of adoration, he savours the delicious taste of your creation, taking his time to chew and make prominent the features of his chiseled face with each strain of muscle in orgasmic food rapture. Although, he wouldn’t readily admit it, it was always quite a pleasure to delight in your culinary crafts. You were always so generous towards him, there was often a guilty streak dominating his otherwise desirous need to praise you for being the archangel you are.
“If only I weren’t so bewitched by your charm...”
You scoff in a manner akin to disbelief.
“You ? In love with with me?” Chuckling nervously, you turn a heel to feign interest to pale clouds offering their lewd release to the citizens of Gotham.
“Imagine…”
Peppermint and eggnog accosts your olfaction with tendrils of pleasant chill caressing the shoulders, ghosting down to hug your waist in a viper’s embrace.
“Oh, kitten.” His breath is potent with subdued emotion. Leaning back into wiry chest, you listen and synchronise the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
“No need to imagine…” Softly, he mutters, breathless and energised. A child who keeps the spirit alive with infectious conviction. Too hyper to rest the night of Christmas Eve.
“Not when I’m living the reality.”

* . day to night , dark to light fall the s a n d s o f t i m e .
{ ross lynch, twenty-one, trans male, he/him } Have you seen ZELD CYELN “CIEL” NOHANSEN walking around? Little do they know, they’re the child of LINK & PRINCESS ZELDA from THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, and they HAVE TWO SIBLINGS ( one older, one younger ) . I guess that explains why they’re so CHARMING & ARTISTIC and GUARDED & INSECURE. They are a STREAMER. — penned by eve.
FIRST THINGS FIRST.
Hello hello again , folks !! It’s EVE and if you thought I went completely feral about Resident Evil earlier you are . . . sorely mistaken because now we are in Zelda territory and Zelda encompasses literally every fiber of my being. This OC is my most beloved ( despite the fact he’s an absolute prick ) and I have been itching to write him as a next-gen of Zelink , so VOILA , but just a few things !!
I love The Legend of Zelda . . . a lot. That’s the first thing. And my friends call me the Zelda lorekeeper since I know pretty much everything about the games like that back of my hand.
Another - as it’s always been a fact about his character , Ciel here is diagnosed with Type II Bipolar. Now , I want to clarify that I also am the same , and he was originally written as a comfort character to sorta see myself in a character I wrote ( and he became his own dude over the years. ) It’s not something that’ll pop up often , but I just wanted to let y’all know since I’m not gonna erase my own rep , I write from experience since I’m the same.
TWS AHEAD : Manipulation , mental illness
I. THE PAST - DO YOU REMEMBER ??
The second of The Hero & The Princess - Prince Zeld Cyeln Nohansen , carrying on the traditional naming conventions to keep the name Zelda in the family with obvious corruptions. Your older brother could not - and AS WELL , you are the only child in the family that possesses the holy powers of the royal bloodline that your mother carries , as shown by the brand of the Triforce on the back of your right hand. And immediately , expectations are thrust upon your shoulders before you can even walk.
It’s because of your power that you , instead of the eldest , are to succeed the throne as the next king of Hyrule once you become of age , and although your mother vows to not treat you the same as your father treat her , she often reminds you that the beautiful , sunlight-bathed kingdom will be yours.
So you grow. You grow & you adapt to the life of royalty , the CROWN PRINCE , and your relationship with your parents is better than most. While you’re significantly closer to your mother than your father , spending your days in the library with her & learning how to paint her visage , you also follow your father out to scope the kingdom on horseback. You grow up kind & gentle , the intelligence of your mother but the softness of your father , and it is well-known throughout the kingdom that you are DESTINED for good things.
It’s when you’re fourteen years old that you meet a boy.
A boy your age , a boy who smiles at you and you get fairies fluttering in your stomach. A boy who tells you that you’re pretty and by Nayru are you getting your first crush ??
Hm.
But you can’t see through the lies - that even though you’re young , manipulation knows no age and you are heartbroken to find that this boy leads you to a group of bandits that go on the attack and aim to STEAL the raw power you carry. After you’re tricked into bringing magical artifacts to their clutches , that is , that your family has gathered over the years - the goddess harp , the ocarina of time , and the cursed , wicked Majora’s Mask.
Your father sweeps into rescue you , and although you feel guilty , you aren’t berated for your mistakes. He only wants to know what happened , and if you’re alright , and you’re a sobbing mess but you tell your parents everything and they recognize that the evil forces that plagued them are NOW targeting their offspring.
You are only fourteen. But the betrayal turns you cold , and you close yourself off , now hesitant to trust. And you learn that there are DANGEROUS forces out there who want to hurt & use you in the same way , hence why you use your mother’s old study connected to her old bedroom ( now currently yours ) and you begin to research , research , research. You look back on the legends of old , and start practicing the magic of not only your bloodline , but the taboo power of shadow - such as that of the TWILI , a project aiming to recreate the mirror. You also use the mask , hoping to tap into the wicked power it carries to turn it around. You train with the Sheikah , as Sheikah blood runs in your veins as well , to master the art of using the shadows & the unseen to your advantage. You become a teenager devoted to your work - a mad scientist & magician , and the whispers of a ‘ mad alchemist prince ’ sweep throughout the kingdom due to the rumors you can stay awake for DAYS working on one thing , before crashing and moving onto the next.
But there is still pain - a loneliness & a hurt which you try to bury deep down , but it’ll still consume you to the point where you don’t know how to think clearly. You try and mask yourself best you can , but there is still a little boy , deep down , who only wishes to be loved and cared for and cherished by people his own age. Your work is your comfort but you are also learning to sink yourself in it to the point where it’s becoming a hindrance.
One day , maybe , you’ll get what you want - and everything will be okay. But the world is currently at your throat , so . . . how long will that be ??
Your sixteenth year changes everything. The Crown Prince goes missing , and he is lost without the comfort of his parents.
And he awakens in another day , as a new being , with only his wit & his charm to carry on.
II. PRESENT - WHO ARE YOU , YOURSELF ??
Okay so IN A NUTSHELL Ciel is the crown prince of Hyrule due to the fact he’s essentially the ‘Zelda’ of his generation - the only child that carries the sacred power of the goddess Hylia , and this kid is incredibly smart and artistic but due to being manipulated by dark forces when he was young , he’s EXTREMELY insecure and lacks trust , instead trying to become as powerful as possible by any means possible so he isn’t hurt again since now he’s a target like his parents were.
HIS CHARACTER . . . is incredibly complex. It doesn’t change much with or without memories because even though he hasn’t experienced that same shit , those trust issues & insecurities are still well-embedded into him. The main difference is that he’s still smart , but not because of excessive research on Hyrulean magic & history & technology.
ON THE SURFACE , Ciel appears to be honestly very exuberant , quick-talking , and , to some , annoying. He’s a bit of a loudmouth , he seems harmless in the aspect that he isn’t downright mean or anything , he’s just . . . a nuisance. Charming in the aspect that he knows how to talk his way out of any situation since he has a MOUTH on him , but he knows how to use it. He overshares , it seems , but in turn , he’s actually not revealing anything about himself of any importance. He’s just keeping his cards to his chest but he doesn’t anyone to see so , so he places counterfeit cards on the table.
Ciel is always one step ahead , and the best way to be is to convince everyone else that you’re far behind.
NOW ON THE INSIDE . . . Ciel is extremely caring & gentle. He cares a lot about the people he loves , but he’s hesitant to open up or trust other people given the fact he doesn’t want to be hurt , and he doesn’t want to make mistakes. He’s very observant & again , incredibly intelligent , knowing well how to read the atmosphere and pick out things that most don’t notice. He is insecure in the fact that he constantly thinks horribly of himself , and although he’s great at hiding it , it’s easy to get his feelings hurt. He hates that he has to keep on a mask since it makes him easily unlikable , but he thinks it’s the only way to stave off the most damage. But he’s a good kid & has a heart of gold , it’s just that . . . his heart has a few booboos on it. He CRAVES love & validation & affection but he’s afraid to ask for it or to take it since he’s gone down worse roads before by opening up to the wrong people.
He’s an artist - very talented in drawing & painting !! His apartment is littered with sketches & drawings and supplies and he would’ve gone to art school but money is tight and he doesn’t know he’s a prince in his actual reality so . . . yeah.
But his day job is that he’s a VERY popular video game streamer named Alchemyst , mainly doing let’s plays of adventure games & stuff with friends to get a good laugh. He also has a tendency to go on hilarious rants in a lot of his videos , resulting in MANY fanmade compilations & memes. He’s got a dedicated fanbase that he openly adores , and streaming also sorta helps him since he is a bit afraid of going into the outside world slightly.
It’s funny , because as a streamer , he isn’t at all obnoxious or annoying - it’s the closest he gets to acting like himself , even if he has to act a little more EXTROVERTED than he actually is.
THAT’S THE BASIS again , much more of a show than tell character but . . . Love him. I love him.
I DON’T have much ideas for wanted connections at this point aside from like . . . friends , exes , crushes , enemies , fans of his stream , etc. When I get more of a braincell I’ll put specific stuff down , but if it HELPS his fake life is shrouded in mystery bc Ciel doesn’t like talking about it ( aka , his fake past was p bad so he just prefers to act like he came out of fucking nowhere. )
But that’s it !! I’ll b responding to starters & calls soooon ~ ! I am ALL for plotting if u guys want , so just hit me up on here or Discord n I’ll respond as soon as I can !!

My top 10 Powerpuff Girls episodes
(PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WAS WRITTEN BACK IN NOVEMBER SO SOME OF THIS IS A LITTLE OUTDATED SO WE’RE NEARLY INTO FEBRUARY...ABOUT TIME I FINISH THIS DAMN REVIEW!) For some reason, @princess-peachie‘s love for PPG made me want to do this too haha! Can you believe that The Powerpuff Girls -one of the greatest Cartoon Network shows- has turned twenty? I know it's a little late but I get such great fond memories watching this as a little kid. The Powerpuff Girls was a spunky, energetic, entertaining, action packed, heartwarming and funny show. I indulged myself into watching this whenever I could and I always looked forward to it. It didn't matter if I saw the same episodes repeated again and again, The Powerpuff Girls would never shy away on putting a smile on my face. I LOVED this cartoon, it’s pretty special to me because it came out on the 18th November 1998 (my 10th birthday), at the time, we didn’t have access to Cartoon Network so I wasn’t aware of this show until early next year. My first glimpse of the Powerpuff Girls was a mention and a brief clip shown of the girls flying and staring at the camera during a line up of Cartoons showing at the time. I actually got curious straight away and had no idea whenever I’d get the time to finally watch it.
Finally one evening after 2 Stupid Dogs finished, The Powerpuff Girls was announced next and this finally gave me a chance to watch it in peace. I was alone in the living room and I quietly sat there like ...well a kid, waiting, I was excited, I would finally get to watch this show after trying to.
Unlike most Cartoon Network shows in which it took me a while to get into such as Ed, Edd n Eddy, I already found myself smiling to myself and even quietly laughing. If I can remember correctly, the first episodes I got to watch fully for the first time were “Fuzzy Logic” and “Tough Love”. I don’t know why but somehow I knew I was really going to enjoy this show more than I’d expect. The Powerpuff Girls isn’t JUST your average typical cutesy show starring three female leads. It has more than that, it had action, it had a great stories, it had great adventure, it had great voice acting, speed, pizzazz and most of all…IT was actually very funny! Craig McCracken had come a long way since making these characters onto a small card he drew, to his own animated shorts to then one of the most iconic and important shows Cartoon Network had ever put onto their channel.
I loved it more for what it produced, I really liked how it pulls your audience in thinking it’s a cutesy girly show with all rainbows and giggles, but really, it’s a cartoon that captivates the audience with it’s humor, voice acting, soundtrack, atmosphere and even the sneaky pop cultural references and of course: adult humor. I would constantly tape the show whenever I could and when it came to those memorable ones, I KNEW I’d enjoy them again after more than one watch. There was something about this show that really appealed to me and sometimes I couldn’t quite lay a finger on it. When I first watched this show, I was glad I had instantly become a fan because this was one of those shows that I got into and enjoyed before anyone else did in the household. I’m glad it wasn’t just a girly girl’s show. I was happy that the main heroes were unique in appearence and seemed all sweet innocent looking kids which do nothing other than fighting crime, play around and act like little kids. I think what grabbed male audience’s attention more were the villains and I can see why. They were all funny, engaging and their use of dialogue and voice acting were terrific. All well done to a tee!
When you’ve got voice talents such as Tom Kane, Jennifer Hale, Cathy Cavadini, EG Daily, Tara Strong, Roger Jackson, Jim Cummings, Tom Kenny, not forgetting the late Chuck McCann and even occasional to major and minor voice appearances from Kevin Michael Richardson, Rob Paulsen, Kath Soucie, Jeff Bennet and even Mark Hamill, WHERE can you go wrong? With a good cartoon, comes a good cast of voice artists.
Craig McCracken put his heart into this show and I am glad to have grown up with this masterpiece. The Powerpuff Girls is no doubt one of my favorite animated shows of all time and I will continue to watch them again and again and never get tired at watching the many episodes that are so dear to my heart. Craig really knew how to create a masterpiece and one that would go onto become a cultural phenomenon. He really knew how to create great characters young, old, male and female, and yet have the main lead cast all female that would appeal to both girls and boys is quite a milestone in cartoon history.
In honor of this series, I will be counting down my top ten greatest Powerpuff Girls episodes. I will however not be including the movie, the Christmas special or the Dance Pantsed Special, also I am only focusing on the original 90s show and not the 2016 reboot. WARNING: Spoilers ahead.
With that being said here are what I consider the greatest episodes.
10 - The Bare Facts This was one of the first episodes I ever got to record onto vhs, I remember so well on Christmas eve and I couldn't wait. I would constantly watch it played back again and again and you can see why.
Most episodes focus on the girls fighting crime and succeeding, but here, all the action is unseen...at first.
Sometimes when sibling characters argue in animation, it can be degrading, unpleasant and makes you want to lose interest in the characters all together, but here, it's done right, to a point where the arguing isn't degrading or stale and actually pretty funny. Also I love how clueless the Mayor is about everything, especially the scene about "the note", this scene always had me laughing as a kid.
Throughout this episode, the setting is all in the Mayor's point of view, complete with various styles of the girls versions of the story on how it all happened, done with an art style shift for each girl. This idea is hilarious and I love how they constantly jump in with different story telling patterns as follows: Blossom tells it mostly focusing on her (all about her, nobody else), complete with a light red tinted scene.
Bubbles tells it in a rather light hearted but adorably accurate way, complete with crayon drawing scenes.
And Buttercup tells it in a rather shadowy olive-green scene, mostly focusing on the action and not the details like Blossom did.
The Mayor however is oblivious to what has happened and is only wondering why the girls were laughing earlier.
I will NOT spoil the ending for this episode for those who haven't seen it, although I really could have done without the narrator's little puns to go with the moment. Again, the episode title just may give you some ideas.
Overall, this episode was great and was even nominated for an emmy with it's brother episode "Bubblevicious".
KEY MOMENT FOR ME: The "pretty clouds" scene. Seriously cracks me up!
9. Just Another Manic Mojo
I can't think of any episode focusing on Mojo Jojo to be as brilliant as this one, sure "Child Fearing" was hilarious, "Monkey See, Doggy Do" is a classic and "Mr Mojo's Rising" is one that shouldn't be ignored. But if I had to pick any of the Mojo Jojo themed episodes, it would be this one. Just imagine, a day in the life of a villain: Waking up miserable, going through so much hell each day and reading the news to such goody-goody acts.
Watching this episode back to back constantly, I never got tired of it and I knew it almost word for word at some point.
The first half of this episode focuses on Mojo getting up, regular routines such as showering, doing his teeth, ceasing the day and readying up for breakfast...until he discovers drama in the kitchen...ONE EGG LEFT! I just love the little ramble he does here, over a single egg, what follows is an ingenious rollercoaster of comedy gold. Whenever Mojo's onscreen, you can't help but laugh, with his hilariously bad Japanese accent and repetitive Speed Racer-esque sentences, you can see why he was a fan favorite.
What follows the events is the girls accidentally having their ball crash through their window and what do they do? They ask for it back (well, better than busting in through the roof and looking for it, eh?).
I would probably give it away if I were to describe what follows afterward, but if you really want a laugh, then this episode is the one for you. Of all the episodes where the girls drive Mojo insane, this has got to be the funniest.
KEY MOMENT FOR ME: Just Mojo Jojo, he's absolutely hilarious in this episode, the girls being a runner-up too for not keeping still. Also one word: "curses".
8. Supper Villain This episode is hilarious on many levels, most of the story is done for laughs and the setup is well...average...averagely brilliant. It's great to hear Kath Soucie on the Powerpuff Girls again (true fans should know that Soucie started off voicing Bubbles in the two pilots via What a Cartoon before Tara stepped in for the role).
The repetitive dialogue is great, played out for laughs and builds up for even more laughs, mixed with great voice acting.
The story? Harold Smith spends his life working at a mustard factory, bored with his life, he longs for something more, with a dark secret. But when his beloved wife Marianne invites the neighbors over for dinner, Harold is vulnerable and finally breaks free and shows his true colors.
His outfit reveal (obviously home made) is enough to make anybody laugh off of your seat. With his newly found identity, Harold reveals his first villainy. From here, we get some hilariously unforgettable gags, and one of the best scenes that eventually became an Internet meme: "Eat your pea, Professor!". No matter how many times I watch it, the dinner scene is just classic. Being a comedic show with guests at dinner, I'm pretty sure you can figure out what happens next.
Key moment for me: "Eat your pea Professor!" No doubt about it.
8. Jewel of the Aisle I'd like to point out here that this episode aired right as Kelloggs released a Powerpuff Girls themed cereal. Sadly it was limited and has since discontinued, so good luck on throwing your pennies onto ebay to grab a box. Now, this episode never really gets talked about enough, maybe because the main villain here is a nameless crook who you never really see again. The story's premise is simple, the girls fail to track down a thief who had just stolen a priceless diamond from the jewelry store. Unable to locate him, they retire for the night, swearing they will meet again. The crook however, hiding in a cereal factory accidentally drops his prize into one of the boxes, which then ends up in the local supermarket.
When the crook fails to find his precious gem, he's down to one box -which ends up in the hands of the Professor. The crook follows him home stealthily only to his horror to find out that Professor Utonium is the father of the Powerpuff Girls. Upon his spying, he notices a commercial (with terrifically shifted fluent animation that almost feels Disney or Warner Bros. esque) and comes up with a cunning plan...dressing up as "Lucky Captain Rabbit King", the cereal's mascot, I'll leave it up to you on what cereal brands they were parodying here.
While these cereals weren't so big here in Europe, heck, I only ever remember eating Lucky Charms in my own youth a lot until they went up in price later on. I still got the reference easily thanks to the internet. This still didn't stop me from getting laugh, gag after gag.
Think of this episode as a Yogi Bear cartoon, but instead of stealing a "pic-a-nic" basket or a pie cooling off on the window sill (or a plate of hog jowls if you're thinking Ren and Stimpy), you've got a box of cereal with a hidden unknown prize not included in most boxes. The comedy in this episode is hilarious, for example, how much cereal did the girls go through and not notice a diamond? Also, the classic usage of oblivion and determination is brilliant, it's like watching classic golden age cartoons of the 40s and 50s again. The crook taking on a role parodying the Trix Rabbit is just so funny to watch, no matter what he does, he is being outsmarted by three adorable kindergartners. I love how the girls just play along with the gag and constantly kick him out,. My favorite part would have to be when the crook disguises himself as a monster outside off the front window complete with a Townsville scenery. YOU know you're going to laugh out loud when an idiot pulls this gag out of his hat and fails to succeed.
On a spoiler's note, I felt a little sorry for the crook when he broke down, forgetting about the jewel and focusing on the cereal, I don't know, maybe it's when Bubbles (who is honestly the sweetest little living being on two legs in cartoons) actually gives in and offers t it to him. While most stories like these do tend to have a happy ending for the determined victim, we don't get that here, which is why this episode works. Again, while I've probably spoiled most of the plot, it's too simple anyway. With that being said, "Ridiculous Lucky Captain Rabbit King, Lucky Captain Rabbit King Nuggets are for the youth!". Okay, I'm actually craving junky cereal now, especially imported from USA! Key moment for me: The comedy in this episode.
7. Telephonies This is another classic episode, the comedy and timing is perfect, the plot is great and gives us a look into the lives of the villains when they are chilling out and not plotting evil schemes. When something is funny, it has to have speed at exactly the right time, otherwise the joke falls flat and loses it's cool, that's if you can pinpoint that in your head and understand where I'm going with this.
When the Gang Green Gang start making crank calls throughout Townsville, they are lacking in great ways to pull them off. So, after calling the Mayor with Grubber impersonating Ms Bellum, making him leave to "cut the ribbon for the new mall, declaring it open", giving them the free run of the Powerpuff Hotline. What we get is a rather "interesting" insight of the villains at home doing their own thing as the girls burst in and constantly beat the living hell out of them, only to learn that they were NOT even committing any crimes. Here, we learn that Mojo Jojo is more sophisticated than you think (yet we see him in Manic Mojo actually buying eggs at the supermarket), he listens to classical music and reads the paper and even takes naps in an armchair. Also, what can be more funnier than the "evilest of all evil" ("Him") working out in complete aerobic equipment? That is just friggin hilarious, I also love how polite he is when the girls break in, but the one that gave me the most laughs out of the villains was Fuzzy Lumpkins. Nobody likes having their privacy invaded, especially when you're taking a relaxing bath, the delivery here from the girls was priceless, especially when Bubbles ended it. I love how the violence and beating up here is played more for laughs and not action itself.
Another thing that still cracks me up in this episode is that these villains are all pretty close friends and even keep in touch by landline, that's right, even down in the depths of hell, HIM has his own phone to make calls. When's the last time you've seen cartoon villains in conversation over a phone? Brilliant!
The ending too is pretty funny and I like how the girls don't believe the Mayor after three cock-ups in one day.
Key moment for me: As I said, Bubbles' delivery to Fuzzy was "tell it like is is funny", BUT the true comedic gem in this episode personally is Professor Utonium. The running gag with him still at the receiver on hold is fantastic. I will forgive the fact that near the end, you see him outside the girls door but I guess that adds to the comedy.
6. The Powerpuff Girls Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever. That's right, that is the actual name of the episode and by god it's a mouthful. Now THIS episode just gets better and better every single time with each watch, whose genius idea was it to create an episode where the girls play pretend? In this case, literally playing The Powerpuff Girls. This includes them playing various roles for other citizens in Townsville and as all kids do when playing together, arguing on who gets to be who?
Honestly, this episode's premise is spectacular. I love how the girls hardly even use superpowers at all, not to mention the unforgettable one liner from Buttercup while playing as a monster. Also, it was nice to actually see the girls here get more comedy than they usually do. For most of the part in the series in general, the comedy is thrown around depending on the characters, story and situation, but here, the girls really do steal the show.
I'm pretty sure a lot of us as kids can relate, with our friends or siblings role-playing as our favourite characters from cartoons, but as each other, that's unique.
PPG Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever is definitely one of the funniest episodes of season 2, so next time you're having a bad day and it's raining, not up for walking the dog, cos it's rai-, okay, enough spoilers. Go watch this one next time you want to see a lead female cast of kindergartners at their funniest.
Key moment for me: The Mayor. You'll have to watch it so not to spoil it.
5. I See A Funny Cartoon In Your Future Seasonal rot is painful, especially cartoons that were so highly well received by critics and fans alike. After the Powerpuff Girls movie, the show followed the upgraded animated style which kind of watered down the true charm of the first four seasons, as well as lacking in great ideas for stories, most of seasons five and six were...mediocre with sour pickles on top. Luckily, this one made me laugh. A hell of a lot!
The entire story is told like episodes of Jay Ward's Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons, complete with cheesy but hilarious and witty puns, fourth wall breaking and running gags. We also have the main one off villain here voiced by the late June Foray (voice of Rocky and Natasha Fatale). I like how she and her goosey sidekick are drawn to mimic the style of Jay Ward's characters and the little commercial near the end of the episode spoofing the Nicotine Patch. It's such a shame this episode wasn't traditionally animated, for I would have really liked to have seen some lush fluid animation to boot up this episode more. Interestingly, I never saw the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons as a kid, since they weren't very big in England, but I got into the franchise when I watched the movie on VHS non-stop and loved it (it's a guilty pleasure haha), so you can see why this episode gave me loads of laughs.
Also note that sadly, June Foray passed away in July 2017, leaving a legacy of cartoon voices behind and fond memories. Since her passing, Mrs Strong herself went on to provide the voice of Rocky for the new Rocky and Bullwinkle series, keeping the spirit alive as always. Good one Tara! Great work. And I mean it! KEY MOMENT FOR ME: The voodoo dolls. Seriously, I quote this a lot haha! Also, just the whole episode being a tribute to Rocky and Bullwinkle.
4. Meet The Beat-Alls Okay, this is definitely getting close to what a WatchMojo list would look like, no? WELL I'm gonna jab this list and have it up before you can say "Ringo Starr's a Powerpuff Girl!", but how can I NOT make a top 10 Powerpuff eps. list and NOT include this episode, and I quote @UmbraMagna, "This episode is absolutely fantastic!", never have truer words been spoken? Telephonies made way with great laughs, but that was more focused on the Gang Green Gang, here this episode focuses on Him, Mojo, Princess Morbucks and Fuzzy in what is probably the funniest Beatles parody I've ever seen.
Craig McCracken himself has always been a huge fan of the Beatles, so when season 3 was ending soon it ended with the sister episode to Moral Decay and you know what? It saved the season finale. Every second, there's a reference to...well, the Beatles. Sure, "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" of The Simpsons was fun and had lots of references to the band and other acts, but an entire episode where it's nothing but Beatles second after second, how can you go wrong?
From the Abbey Road walk, to the musical style, to the Yoko Ono reference, to just everything about it, it's one episode that will have you laughing after a Hard Day's Night. EG Daily (voice of Buttercup) has stated during a Comic-Kaze guest panel that this was one of her favorite episodes.
Show creator Craig McCracken himself even listed this episode as one of his top ten favourite episodes of all time. There is one little nitpick, but I guess it doesn't matter, since it still makes way for great comedy and I like how a SINGLE rock actually defeats the girls (back when cartoons weren't very pc, just the way I like'em). Whether you like the Beatles or not, Meet the Beat-Alls is a great episode with the villains at their best. Key moment for me: The whole episode, brilliant!
3. See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey. NOTE: WATCH THIS EPISODE WITH CAUTION! CONTAINS FLASHING IMAGES! I LOVE THIS EPISODE! Remember what I said about seasons five and six suffering from seasonal rot and mediocre episodes? Well, here's one that I probably consider one of the best of them during the Chris Savino era. The entire episode is much longer since the intro is cut short to make way for what comes next. An unbelievable half hour of a pure masterpiece.
For many, being a great voice actor means they have to know how to sing and here, we have a lot of it. It really gave the voice actors' chance to show off their singing voices a great workout and boy, did they nail it right out the park? While it's not the most comedic, it's still epic, fun and unforgettable. This episode was like an evil apocalypse, not even fighting on who gets to defeat the girls or who gets to cause destruction or rob banks. It's a real shame they never released this as a true soundtrack, it's so beautiful.
It's got an Andrew Lloyd Webber and Pink Flloyd's "The Wall" feel to it. I really wish this was the episode's true finale, since it's been debated and rumored to, unfortunately the true finale (not counting the specials) was that of What's the Big Idea, a complete let down, since both McCracken and Savino agreed that the show had run it's course, even though Cartoon Network did ask for a seventh season. If only...sadly, we can't have everything.
The Gnome -the main villain of this episode- was quite interesting, exchanging peace to Townsville for the girls' superpowers, yet making everyone bow down to him. Sadly, this episode was banned from airing in the USA, some say it was because of the message of communism, but the true reason for the ban was for the red and white blinking lights that flashed during the Gnome's spell. It's too bad this was never edited for safety so the US audience could experience it at the time but luckily, it was included in the complete tenth AND twentieth anniversary box set, just proceed with caution, I'm saying this for your own safety. I love the Gnome's setting, in a large rose where he lives in peace, I forgot to mention that he was voiced by the legendary Jess Harnell and boy, was he a perfect choice? Have you ever heard Jess sing OUTSIDE of cartoons? Why don't voice artists get more love? Seriously.
Speaking of which, Tara Strong and EG Daily (who only just recently released a song "Impeachable" (parodying Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful") together for charity) really got to show off their vocal talents here more. Also not to leave her out since I love all three of these amazing talents, Cathy too has a remarkable singing voice! God bless these ladies! In conclusion, See Me, Feel Me Gnomey is a fantastic episode, mixed with action, drama, music and sheer brilliance from start to finish. Key moment for me: The whole episode. I can't pick one moment. I really loved the harmonizing from Strong and Daily during Cavadini's singing solo in "You Wanna Make Us Feel Real Good". Seriously, once these three sing, it just seems unreal, yet magical.
2. The Rowdyruff Boys Okay! I'm pretty sure a lot of fans saw this one coming, I mean it's one of IMDB's highest rated episodes, as well as another one of Craig McCracken's favorites. This episode not only marked the debut of the titled characters of the same name, but was the first of many half hour episodes and of all of them, this one was at it's best. While not the MOST comedic and the boys at the time didn't have as much personality as they did in their later appearances, this episode still left a huge impact on the fans, in a good way. The action in this episode is some of the best I have seen during the McCracken era (something the later episodes lacked), probably along with Stuck Up, Up and Away and Bubblevicious. Tired from constantly being defeated day after day and thrown into jail, Mojo Jojo comes up with the perfect plan to get rid of the girls by creating a trio of kids of his own. Instead of the sweet ingredients for the perfect little girls, Mojo gathers up several ingredients to create the not so perfect little boys. I love how the idea was a reference to the little rhyme "What Are Little Boys/Girls Made of?".
There's some pretty funny but questionable moments, such as...why would the prison serve escargot? I love how the caterer actually smiles in response. Also, why is the Talking Dog suddenly a prison guard? Oh what the hey? It still makes for hilarious gags such as having his tail snatched to finish the ingredients. What I don't get though is Mojo's breath as he flushed the ingredients down the toilet...then again, maybe it was because of when the girls were born causing the chemical reaction to still have an affect which in return passes on to others, in this case, the Rowdyruff Boys. Interestingly, the boys named themselves, while the Professor named his girls. What made this episode great was the voice acting, Roger L Jackson as Mojo yet again was perfect, as well as providing the voice of Butch, Buttercup's counterpart. Cathy, Elizabeth and Tara's energy in this episode were spot on and we even get to hear the legendary Rob Paulsen as Brick and Boomer.
When the two teams meet face to face, they start a huge brawl, the action as I said is amazing, some of the best in any episode, it's like the teams have lept right off the screen.
There is a little problem I have with this episode and...well...it's the whole counterpart vs counterpart thing. I mean...is it really that hard to tell the difference between a little boy and girl with the same hair color? Especially when they use the same chunks of animation for each member fighting against each other, take the cartwheel scene for example. Other than that, the animation in this episode was terrific.
This was also one of the first episodes in which the girls were defeated and nearly for good. But with the Disney-esque tears of life trope, they are revived in seconds. I can forgive this trope here but NOT in Pokemon: The First Movie. Shamed and crestfallen by their defeat, the girls decide to leave Townsville, only to be given a pep talk by Ms Bellum.
And what we get after a little subtle adult joke followed by a defeat from the girls...without the violence, in Sara Bellum's words, "try being nice". I just love how the boys are distracted by the girls as they are standing looking pretty...well, pretty. Pretty as any little girl could be, I laugh my head off every time in this scene, it's both cute and funny, especially with the flirtatious "come hither" eyelashes and sassy “Hey boys!” expressions on the girls that aren't usually seen. You'd expect this kind of thing on a more mature character, one with an hour glass shaped figure and heels. But alas, being kids, the boys can't stand the thought of ...cooties and somehow, this kills them. Literally. No, seriously, they actually die, in a rather humorous way after a long battle with the girls. What makes this scene great is that there's no dialogue, not until the boys scream at the top of their lungs.
I may have spoiled it a little but hey, visualizing it in your head isn't the same as watching it and believe me, it is a really funny scene. Think of it has a "distracted by the sexy" trope but toned down. Also, what I said earlier about the counterpart trope, I'll make this an exception since it was clearly obvious that it was going to happen.
This episode is a fan favorite, unfortunately, it did have a reputation of inspiring fanart and fan-fictions and McCracken himself actually poked fun at this scenario in The City of Clipsville. This episode was not afraid of almost killing off the main characters and three children in fact, but then again, there was so much edge in this show, there was nothing like it at the time. The mix of action, humor and drama is perfect. It's too bad the follow-ups with the boys didn't get the same impact as this one. In conclusion, The Rowdyruff Boys is incredible and really shows that girls are tougher than they look. Take Buttercup's quote "It takes more than a couple of cheap shots to make us cry!". Inspiring.
Key moment for me: The boys' defeat...by cooties. Hilarious. After nearly an entire episode of nothing but non-stop action, violence and a huge brawl in Townsville, we get a comedic flirt scene.
NOW before I finally get to number one, here are some honorable mentions.
Him Riddle Diddle - I love the suspense and how it already started with peril, it felt like some kind of action movie. HIM sets the girls up on a riddle-fest or else the Professor will -in Him's words - pay. I could have had it on this list but...the one bit that bothered me was Buttercup piloting a helicopter...umm...when did she learn to...okay, Uh-Oh Dynamo, they are controlling a large robotic being of themselves but a helicopter? I don't know, maybe it was all done for comedy but yeah, it's still a great episode. What makes this episode great is that it builds up with suspense, from one riddle after another, still filling comedy in the cracks and gaps of course. Also when you have Him as the main villain, he's always coming up with something unique, yet nasty. I won't spoil the ending but it is hilarious, I love the girls' reactions after working their butts off to save their father ONLY to...well see for yourself.
Superfriends - @KarToonComics has already kind of gone on about this episode and I have to agree with her on what she said. I have had lonely problems growing up and found it hard to make friends and socialize. Also, I've personally lost friends due to someone else cutting in the way and excluding me by taking over them and. I don't like to go into it, but we have all had that experience.
The girls meet Robin, their new next door neighbor and befriend her, it's really satisfying to actually see the girls being kids, having fun and playing together for once.
I shut this one off the list though, because...well, some of the later episodes, I can't stand the sharpness in Bubbles' accent, it's noticeable especially in her Ls. It's like she's getting a bit of a Spanish brogue in there (which probably makes sense since she can speak the language), but I just find it really distracting.
Also, while I really liked Robyn, she somewhat looks similar to one of the other kindergartners in school. Watch Stuck Up, Up And Away and see for yourself. Her friendship with the girls was cute, I really like how they all bonded together like all little kids, but of course, being superheroes, the girls didn't always get enough time to meet their new friend, their next door neighbor in fact. That's pretty sad, you can tell the girls themselves could feel it inside them that they wish the hotline would once not ring and they could do their own thing but Townsville seems to have problems every single time.
Robin and the girls walk to school together the following week when a limousine pulls up carrying Princess Morbucks as a passenger. She offers the girls a lift in the car IF they let her be a Powerpuff Girl, the girls' decline the offer (by the way, I love Blossom's expression during Princess's little bribe).
I can't really go on more without totally spoiling the episode so see for yourself what happens from here. It's a great episode, also a BONUS for Robin's hilarious one liner and of course the entire sequence set to the song Signal in the Sky by The Apples in Stereo, damn, why couldn't we have more episodes like that, that'd be just brilliant. I'd have loved to have seen a cameo appearance of Bis, or Dressy Bessy.
Helter Shelter - I don't know why but I wish this episode was longer, then again with a premise as stupid yet funny as this one, it would probably lose the comedy after a while.
Bubbles loves animals, we all know that. In fact, she loves them so much, she has a habit of bringing them in the house.
The following afternoon, Bubbles brings in a baby sperm whale into the house and the results of trying to hide it from the Professor are hilarious. I love the way the girls panic and all the hiding spots aren't very well hidden for a large mammal such as a whale calf.
The dialogue and gags are some of the stupidest yet funniest in any episode, yet they somehow add up nicely. I also love the running gag of the Professor yelling out Bubbles' name, he kind of reminds me of Dave Seville in Alvin and the Chipmunks. .
You'll have to watch the whole episode to find out what happens but I can't say if it will make you laugh or not.
Equal Fights - This was a great episode, in fact I felt it could have been longer, but then it would probably drag on and go nowhere. The girls become sexist to all males after meeting and releasing Femme Fatale, a master thief, bank robber and also bit of a hypocrite.
While Grey Delisle did a fantastic performance with her role here, I felt that Femme Fatale was one of the more forgettable minor villains.
If this were a double length episode, I would have liked to have seen more of a backstory on why she's a misandrist.
Also I felt the character was eye-candy and fan-service material, from her slender figure to her skin-tight outfit. Also, I love how precocious the girls themselves are on a brief history lesson about Susan B. Anthony.
The morals were great but personally, this along with a similar episode Members Only just didn't quite make the cut for me. I did love the references to the Justice League though.
Child Fearing - I love the Mojo Jojo themed episodes, especially where he's with the girls throughout and they make each other's lives a living hell. Unfortunately, some were a fluke and hit and miss while others like Slumbering with the Enemy and this one; Child Fearing are great.
Late for science presentation in a rather clumsy fashion, the Professor hires a babysitter to look after the girls. There's a wonderful reference to a certain N64 game here, I don't want to spoil it in case you may haven't seen it. But it's a great laugh if you know your games. I also love the little smirk the girls give each other when they know they are alone and the Professor forgot to ring for a sitter.
Anyway, the Mayor is too busy to sit for the girls because he's playing video-games, so the girls get an unexpected visit from their arch-enemy Mojo Jojo and the results are pure hilarity, one after the other.
The girls aren't stupid, without a simple huddle or plan, they immediately decide to take advantage of all this and become incredibly obnoxious, mischievous and bratty as any little kid can be. I usually hate obnoxious characters but it's played here perfectly.
It's impossible not to laugh at Mojo here, but also feel sorry for him at the same time. It's a real shame there weren't anymore episodes that had this kind of comedy, because this one is absolutely hilarious from start to finish. Also, the TV scene is absolutely brilliant, the highlight of the episode.
Buttercrush - This was one of the many episodes that immediately got me into the show. Already silently into it that is lol. Anyway, this was an episode I felt went on just too quickly, but if it was extended, it would drag on.
The Gang Green Gang reek havoc at a playground and when the girls show up, the gang's leader Ace throws drops to his knees and does a pathetic routine of guilt. Reluctant, Blossom (being the leader of the girls) agrees, but Buttercup begins developing a crush on Ace, after a tip of his shades, a soft thank you and a wink of charm, Buttercup believes she has just met Mr Right.
Interestingly, Buttercup barely has any dialogue in this episode, heck she only has one or two lines top and tail (if giggling counts). This episode was not afraid to tackle the precocious crush issues, here we have a kindergartner falling for a teenager. It's amazing what the writers got away with in this show.
Buttercup would sneak out every night to visit the gang, I don't know HOW she managed to avoid the Professor checking in on her or anything.
This is one of the few Buttercup themed episodes that was actually good, if not the best one. Although I put it in the honorable mentions because...well...Buttercup's crush didn't last long, in a way it's a good thing otherwise her sisters would have been history, but makes you wonder how much love suddenly poured out of her own heart.
Overall, it's a wonderful episode and deserved a mention.
Cat Man Do - I was SO close to putting this one in the top 10, I saw this episode a lot on Cartoon Network when I was a kid, seriously, they repeated this one again and again yet it never bothered me.
I guess I put it here because...well...the origin of the cat is unknown and who was his master? We never see or hear from him again (minus a brief cameo).
While I haven't found of thought up any theories, that doesn't stop this episode from being a classic. I did feel like the heist scene with the Professor went on a bit too long for a ten minute short. Also, if I were to pick a moment that had me roaring with laughter (not just this episode, but the entire show) every single time, it would be the "We can keep Kitty" scene. The reactions of the girls are priceless and I love how they suddenly lighten up in seconds. Comedy like this in cartoons is rare now, especially with such speed. Also a bonus for the cat himself being voiced by Mark Hamill.
Bought and Scold - Of all the Princess Morbucks themed episodes, this has to be one of the best. Here, she buys all of Townsville and makes crime legal, making the girls' and other citizens' lives miserable. This even leads to everybody's belongings becoming property of the Morbucks household and the villains get to do what they want. Most of all, the Mayor gave the key to the city to Princess, causing her to take over Townsville.
That is until the girls think up a plan to get all they had stolen from them back in a rather hilarious twist. I also love when Morbucks finally snaps and eventually agrees to make crime illegal again, the girls just go off to do what they do best. Seriously, how can you not love the dialogue free scene with the Gangreen Gang, also Blossom's little smug expression when she shows Ace the legal and illegal papers is just brilliant.
As satisfying as it is to see a happy ending again, I can't help but feel bad for Princess here, yeah she's rotten and spoiled but maybe she was raised like that. In fact, you never see or hear of her mother in this show and her father comes off as a bit abusive as seen here with the newspaper, obviously not giving his own daughter a chance to speak. That's why I left it out here.
Super Zeroes - Kids will be kids! Whether they play make believe, go on adventures with their toys or are influenced by cartoons and comics. Which is pretty much what inspires the girls to create their own alter-egos here. Well, sort of.
The girls are sad because they don't feel like "better" superheroes. They don't have an interesting backstory, nor are they dark and tormented, nor do they even have interesting costumes. So they decide create their own alter egos complete with new costumes.
Don't question where or how they got these outfits or maintained the little abilities, I guess that adds to the comedy. I love how when a monster does hit Townsville, the girls go their own way in their own fashion, very slowly and the results are hilarious! I love how Buttercup's alter-ego "Mange" only goes out at night, kind of a not to Batman. I love how Bubbles' alter-ego resembles My Melody and other Sanrio esque characters while Blossom's got a Wonderwoman vibe to it. I can't really give the episode away without spoiling the plot truthfully but I guess the moral is to be yourself and stick up for it. Which is exactly what the girls did at the end. Only a little spoiler. The moment that really makes this episode is the fact that the girls take so long to fight, you'll have to see it for yourself to get the laughs.
Mime for a Change- Season 1 of the Powerpuff Girls was terrific, there were so many memorable and great episodes and one that particularly comes to mind when you think "Craig McCracken" is this one. I used to watch this episode a lot back in the day and loved the concept of it. I'm not too keen on clowns but Rainbow is just the average friendly harmless kind of person who does his job. She he sounds pretty obnoxious and irritating but he doesn't have many speaking roles. His villain alter ego was pretty unique power-wise, but the question I'm pretty sure we're all asking is...was the bleach radioactive? Was there Chemical X in it? Guess we'll never know, but in a way, that's what adds to the charm. Either way, the bleach seeps out not only the color on Rainbow, but his cheerful personality too. His good kind heart and light sense of humor has gone sour and his love for bright colors has switched to black and white.
Upon realizing what he can do, Rainbow or in this case, Mr Mime can now takeover Townsville by draining all the color right out of it. Not only that, but also affecting those cheerful moods of the citizens of Townsville, also they can hardly speak due to the power of mime. It's really clever. We also discover in this episode that Bubbles loves to draw and colour, especially with crayons like most little girls her age. Upon discovering the black and white atmosphere, she goes on a rampage scraping wax of colour with every crayon she has. Seriously, it's like her box of crayons never ends or run out! Ah cartoon logic.
I have to admit, Tara Strong's performance for Bubbles here during her little panic is pure gold, just listen to those vocals! Keep in mind that she was only 25 at the time. Mega talent!
Her sisters soon take action and look for the suspect. When they finally find Mr Mime, they make chase until they are at a dead end and are ambushed by him. Why couldn't the girls just fly away? Bubbles meanwhile, thinking she had proudly saved the day all by herself wonders where her sisters went and when she discovers them depressed, colorless and mute, she sobs but brightens up immediately remembering she had a crayon but to no avail, it doesn't work. Realizing that her crayons aren't magical, Bubbles thinks up the next best thing...of all 90s cliches in cartoons, she and her sisters save the day...with ROCK MUSIC! Yeah, it's cheesy and all but also a beautiful message. A message of love. Love Makes the World go round is one of the few times the girls ever actually did a musical number and oh my god was this one memorable? I wish there was an extended version of it and an official release, but I guess we'd have to make do with the hidden track on the Heroes and Villains CD. Just listen to that chorus. This is the song that Cavadini, Strong and Daily all used to warm up their performances and vocals whenever they were together in the studio.
I put this episode in the honorable mentions because of the ending, it was a bit hypocritical, one minute the girls are singing and putting a smile on everyone's faces, the next thing, they send Rainbow to jail when it wasn't his fault. Of course, he may have been forgiven later on. But who knows? Overall, this was a memorable episode. KEY MOMENT: Seeing the girls hug, it was adorable!
Ice Sore - Blossom discovers that she has a power that her sisters don't have, causing her to show it off. I put it in the honorable mentions because it deserved it, I felt that Ms Keane making all her class go outside in the frying heat to be a bit irresponsible though.
A Made Up Story - Phyliss Diller's performence as the villain was great and the comedy in this one a bit slow but did have some hilarious moments, plus that ending! It feels like what would happen if Stephen King’s Carrie was turned into a comedy.
Tough Love - One of the first episodes I ever saw and caused me to fall in love with the show as so as I watched it. The concept is dark, creepy and yet unique. When I saw those girls get beat up, punched, kicked, beaten up (heck even by adults), I couldn't believe it. I knew this was the cartoon I waited for, all my life.
Bubblevicious - While not a favorite of mine, I still had to put it here in the honorable mentions list, because, well Strong's performance as Bubbles was absolutely brilliant. Hearing her growl that epic drawn out "haaardcoore" was the cherry on top of Bubbles' character and we see a more stronger side to her. Fed up with being treated like a baby, she does things her way, something even Buttercup probably wouldn't do. My problem though was the way she treated the Talking Dog, threatening to hurt him, a bit hypocritical for Bubbles' taste since she loves animals. This episode was Craig McCracken's all time favourite and you can see why it was nominated for an emmy.
Speed Demon - I gave this episode a mention for the creepy-factor and I mean real creepy. Sometimes I don't know if I'm watching a creepypasta or an episode of the Powerpuff Girls. The show is usually full of action, bit of drama but going as low as this is unusual, this was another dark episode. Everyone chanting "your fault" to the girls is like the equivalent "They're all gonna laugh at you" from Carrie. Can you just imagine travelling so fast that you went fifty years into the future? The concept of this episode is both creepy, unsettling and disturbing.
Knock It Off - Again, an episode that isn't often talked about. This double length episode is one of the darkest in my honest opinion. Dick Hardly is one of the nastiest, sadistic and cruelest one time villains I have ever seen. Cloning the girls with a full vile of Chemical X and shipping them all over the world just sounds like yet another creepy pasta.
Also, have you seen how deformed these clones looked? Enough to disturb any audience. The scene where the Professor discovers the base and suddenly freaks out at all the hideous deformed clones is probably how anyone would react if this happened in real life. Also, seeing the girls die onscreen was heart wrenching, of course, if this show ended now, it would have been one sad finale.
Did I forget to mention that Dick Hardly's monster form was just terrifying! Those tentacles on his chest just really seemed off. On the funny side, I love how it’s like the writers were trying to push it on how many times the girls say “Dick”. Also, what was that nerd doing with his PPG doll?
The Boys are Back in Town - The sequel to The Rowdyruff Boys, this half hour romp sees the girls meeting their match for the second time. The girls learn that the boys were brought back to life from HIM and had given them a cootie vaccination, so they are now strong against the girls. I left it off the top ten list because...well, again, the counterpart battle technique just got stale and I found that the boys personality resulted in some rather gross and painfully vulgar scenes. It's like they were trying to compete with Nickelodeon's 90s shows.
Also just a side note and personal opinion: I do prefer the boys' hairdos here. Also the scene where the girls discover the weakness was hilarious. A bonus for Blossom’s cheeky little one liner.
Beat Your Greens - This was a classic episode. I remember watching it a lot as a kid. The moral is simple: eat your vegetables.
This was the time when Craig McCracken was still at high stakes on the show and this was only it's second season. A time when morals weren't always the key of the show. Also Buttercup's brief pep talk/speech to one of the kids was great and really motivating. Also I love the little Star Wars reference.
Curses - I left this one out because this trope has been done before in other shows including Spongebob Squarepants and Arthur. But that doesn't stop the episode from being funny. The villain was hilarious, a literal talking potty-mouth who basically just talks gibberish as if he's swearing and every time the girls swore, it was bleeped out with various sound effects and the results are hilarious. I think the funniest moment was when the girls flipped out on the Mayor all over a pickle jar complete with swearwords and their mouths washed out with soap. Overall, this was a funny episode but sadly, when a trope has been done to death, is there really any high stakes for it to be in a top ten list?
And the number one greatest Powerpuff Girls episode is...
1. The Powerpuff Girls Rule! I am counting this one as an episode! Argument invalid! WHERE do I begin? This was all drawn and animated on Flash and released as the 10th anniversary special and you know what? It's absolutely brilliant. Everything is thrown at you in seconds, the humor, the pacing, unpredictable moments, the voice actors returned again and are just as great and the best part? Craig McCracken came back to write this masterpiece!
Not only was this special a breath of fresh air for the fans, but it felt like a new revival for the Powerpuff Girls done right! Sadly, this was Craig's last involvement with the Powerpuff Girls...when you think about it though, it’s not the same without Craig McCracken as writer and director, so you can see why there are lots more funnies here compared to seasons five and six.
Originally, this was planned to be an hour long but instead was reduced to a full length episode, which is why everyone suffers from motormouth syndrome throughout!
I love all the little callbacks to the classic episodes, including the villains and nearly every second had me laughing with tears streaming down my cheeks! THAT'S the true essence and formula of The Powerpuff Girls. Try watching this special with a straight face if you are a die hard fan of this show, seriously! It's impossible!
Ten years before, the reviews poured in calling this cartoon "gut-bustingly funny", well, this really shows! It's like the show had won back the brilliance when Craig came back and I really wish there was more!
The plot is so ridiculous yet hilarious and I quote the PPG wikia: The key to the world is sent to Townsville, and The Mayor has the responsibility of keeping watch of it. However, he misplaces it, and all the villains of Townsville break free from prison to search for the key, each one of them wanting to obtain it and rule the world, especially Mojo Jojo. The Powerpuff Girls must find the key and return it to The Mayor, before the villains get to it.
Everything about this episode is absolutely fantastic. I will forgive the little reference to a certain 2000s meme thrown in, although it wasn't really needed, but who can complain, right? It was bound to happen since every decade, cartoons tend to have that trend that will blend in with show's plots.
The moment all the motor-mouthed dialogue starts, it's impossible not to sit back with an enormous smile on your face. This was like a true love-letter to everyone who worked on the show, filled with crazy gags and some of the funniest build up on the show, complete with crazy references and everyone filling in on tickling the funny-bone.
The moment Blossom does her impression of Mojo Jojo (COMPLETE with camera angles, close ups and a shot of the entire planet earth) is hilarious! Her sass and smug attitude here just makes it!
I love how cartoony and slapstick this special was, although a little out of character, I don't care, I find it rather hilarious! There's surprise after surprise, after surprise! I've never seen The Powerpuff Girls go beyond the mark of full-on craziness!
I will admit, the motor-mouthing did feel a little forced and rushed but the plot still made up for it with all it's glory! I can't give anymore away without spoiling the entire cartoon so go watch this special when you can!
The Powerpuff Girls Rule! is -in my opinion- the greatest episode of all time. Now ten years old, it makes us all wonder what is in store for the twentieth anniversary. With the reboot having mixed reception and the merchandise still selling, we can only dream on having another special just as fresh and funny as this one.
"Key" moment for me (okay, that pun was lame): The whole episode was filled to the brim with timeless and hilarious moments but if I were to pick one, it would have to be Mojo singing a Jimmy Hart version of Part of Your World. Honestly, the funniest thing ever done on the show, period! Kudos Craig McCracken! You can’t spell slaughter without laughter and this episode did just that almost! A new meaning for the term: gut-bustingly funny!
And with that, ends my top 10 greatest PPG episode list! What are your favorite episodes of all time? Which ones make you laugh the most? I'd love to read and/or hear your opinions! :) With that being said, after twenty years, this show still holds up and I will always enjoy it again and again whenever I have a bad day. If you really want to see every classic episode again, then go buy the complete dvd set, it’s just been re-released as a twentieth anniversary box set! Thanks for reading and thank you to @crackmccraigen for this masterpiece!

Christmas party - Pearlet imagine
In which Pearl has a crush on Violet and Trixie plays Cupid on Christmas Eve.
A/N: Lots of fluff and mentions of Trixya
Merry Christmas! 😘💝
It was Christmas Eve, and Pearl never felt as giddy about Christmas as this year.
Her apartment in New York was decorated with too many fairy lights, courtesy of Trixie, who had jumped at the idea of organizing this year’s Christmas party.
“So? What do you think?” Trixie asked, standing proudly in the middle of Pearl’s living room.
“It’s…different.” Pearl said, looking around. She was convinced that there was no way this was her apartment.
“No need to be so excited, Pearl!” Trixie said, sarcastically.
“Sorry, I’m just stunned. This is great, you did an amazing job.” Pearl complimented.
Trixie’s smile grew. “I know, thanks.” She said, before disappearing into the kitchen.
“When is everyone arriving?” Pearl asked, sitting down on her white leather couch.
Trixie comes back with two mugs in her hands. She sits down next to Pearl and hands her one.
Pearl takes the mug and takes a sip of the hot chocolate.
“I told them to be here around 7.” Trixie replies.
Time passed way too slowly.
Trixie and Pearl spent the entire afternoon attempting to bake gingerbread cookies (that ended up a little over cooked) and cooking dinner.
Katya was the first to arrive, and quickly took care of decorating the gingerbread cookies in the weirdest ways. One was described by Katya herself as “Santa and Satan’s child”.
Trixie simply shook her head as she continued to make the world’s most perfect snowman with the white icing.
Pearl was sat on the kitchen counter, looking at the clock every five minutes.
Where the hell is Violet?
Violet wasn’t known for being late, and she wasn’t, but Pearl couldn’t wait to see her, to be with her. It had been too long since Pearl and Violet last saw each other.
“So, Pearl, are you excited about this secret Santa?” Katya asks.
Pearl snaps out of her trance. “Uh, yeah. It’s cool, I guess.”
Katya and Trixie share a knowing look.
“Are you gonna tell us who you got?” Trixie asks.
“Violet.” Pearl replies.
“Oh, really? That’s cute.” Trixie smirks.
“Why are you two looking at me like that?” Pearl asks, looking at her two friends.
“You’re such a love sick puppy, it’s disgusting, really.” Katya grimaces.
“I don’t know what you mean.”
Trixie laughs. “Please, Pearl. We all know about your 3 year long crush on Violet.”
Pearl opens her mouth to deny Trixie’s statement, but closes it.
“The turkey! Is anybody watching the turkey?” Pearl says instead, turning her back to the two queens and opening the oven to check on their dinner.
The doorbell rings and Trixie puts her pastry bag down, leaving the kitchen to open the door.
Pearl turns back to Katya and grabs her cigarettes, the wait was killing her.“I swear, Trixie feels too damn comfortable in my apartment.” Pearl shakes her head. “Wanna go outside for a smoke?”
Katya nods. “Sure.”
Both queens leave to the balcony, that had also been decorated by Trixie.
Pearl sat down on the sofa outside, Katya following.
Both friends smoked in silence, taking in the amazing view of New York. It was snowing, and Pearl swore that it couldn’t feel any more like Christmas like it did.
They could hear Trixie’s laugh from inside the house, as more people arrived.
“You were talking about my crush on Violet, but what about you and Trixie?” Pearl asks Katya.
“Oh mama, that bitch hates me.” Katya laughs, kicking around.
Pearl chuckles. “I’m not so sure.”
“I did try to get in her pants, but she wouldn’t let me.” Katya exaggeratedly sighs.
Pearl laughs. ”Oh my god. You guys are gonna end up married, mark my words.”
Katya shrugs, putting out her cigarette in the ash tray.
Pearl follows and both queens walk back inside, closing the balcony door.
“Fame!” Katya screeches, running towards the younger queen.
Fame, who was talking to her husband, Trixie and Kim Chi, jumps at the sound of Katya’s loud voice.
The queens share a hug and Katya starts making fun of Fame and her husband’s matching ugly Christmas sweaters.
Pearl walks towards Kim Chi, giving her long time friend a hug. “How are you?”
“I’m great! Fresh out of tour.” Kim Chi replies.
“Guys? Hi! The door was open so I walked inside.”
Pearl turns around. There she was, Violet, looking beautiful, as always.
Violet’s long brown locks were gone, and Pearl was going to miss running her hands through them.
“Vi!” Pearl exclaimed, walking towards the younger queen.
“Pearl!” Violet smiled.
The world stopped. Violet was the only thing Pearl could see as she got lost in her brown eyes.
Pearl stood in front of Violet, giving her a tight hug.
Violet’s hand caressed Pearl’s hip and back, holding her just as tight.
“I missed you.” Pearl admitted, her voice muffled by Violet’s neck.
Violet sighs. “I missed you too.”
“Are you two done? Because I happen to also miss this bitch!” Katya exclaims.
Violet laughs and breaks the hug, greeting Katya and the rest of their friends.
Pearl watched her with a smile on her face, her heart beating fast.
Soon after, the doorbell was ringing yet again.
Pearl rests her hand on Trixie’s shoulder. “I’ll get it.”
She walks towards the door and opens it to see Naomi and Adore on the other side.
“Merry Christmas!” The both of them exclaimed.
“Merry Christmas!” Pearl replied.
Adore was holding a pie in her hands. “I brought desert!”
“I brought drinks!” Naomi chuckled, showing the bottles of wine on her hands.
“Oh thank god!” Trixie says, appearing behind Pearl and taking the bottles from Naomi. “Come in, you guys!”
Pearl takes the pie from Adore’s hands.
“I thought this was your place?” She asks.
“It is.”
Adore furrows her eyebrows. “But Trixie…”
“Trixie basically lives here with me.” Pearl chuckles.
The three queens walk towards the rest of the group, and Pearl puts the pie on the kitchen counter.
The group of friends sat down and enjoyed the dinner Pearl and Trixie prepared, well, mostly Trixie, while sharing stories about tour.
The group laughed at the sight Katya’s Santa/Satan cookies, the exact opposite of Trixie’s glittery snowmen.
“They are so creepy that they’re cute.” Adore said, looking at one of Katya’s cookies.
“Yours look amazing too, Trixie. I like the eatable glitter.” Violet complimented.
“Finally someone appreciates my art!” Trixie exclaims, making Pearl laugh.
Violet stared at Pearl, who was sitting in front of her. She missed her, a lot more than she thought she would, there was no point denying the chemistry between the two.
Violet didn’t like Christmas, she thought it had become something greedy, only about presents, but still, she was happy to be here with Pearl and the others.
“How about we start with the Secret Santa?” Trixie asks.
“Let’s do it!” Katya claps.
The group of friends sat down on Pearl’s couches, Adore sitting down on top of a pillow on the floor.
The queens exchanged presents, until it was Pearl’s turn.
“Well, uh, I got Violet.” Pearl says, a smile appearing on Violet’s face. “I know you don’t really like Christmas, which made giving you a present real hard.” Pearl chuckles, the group laughing.
“So I decided to give you something a little more sentimental.” Pearl stand up and walks towards the Christmas tree, taking Violet’s gift from under it.
Pearl walks towards Violet, handing her the box. “I hope you like it.”
Violet smiles, taking the gift from Pearl’s hands. She carefully removes the ribbon, opening the Christmas themed box, to reveal a beautiful drawing.
“It’s us. I drew it myself.” Pearl explains.
Violet stared at the on point drawing of herself, in her season finale look with her crown, kissing Pearl, who was also wearing her finale dress.
“Pearl… this is beautiful.” Violet was stunned, to say the least. She got up and gave Pearl a tight hug. “Thank you.”
Pearl was blushed, hugging Violet back. “I’m glad you like it.”
“Show us the drawing!” Naomi exclaimed.
“I think I’ll keep this to the both of us.” Violet replied, putting the drawing back in the box.
“Oooooh, is it that hot?” Adore laughed.
“I don’t even want to know.” Trixie chuckled.
“Violet, you’re left!” Katya urged.
“Well, funny enough, I got you, Pearl.” Violet chuckled.
Pearl raised her eyebrows. “Really?”
Trixie tried to hold her laughter in, as Katya nudged her.
Trixie only hoped that cheating on the Secret Santa by making both queens give each other gifts would be enough to finally get them together.
“I had no idea what to give you, but I think this is enough.” Violet stated, handing Pearl a photo album with a purple ribbon on it.
Pearl takes the photo album, opening it to see what seemed like every picture of them ever, in chronological order, with descriptions for every single one.
“Violet, this must have given you so much work!” Pearl gushed.
“It did, but I think it was worth it.” Violet smiled. “In that album is a hell of a lot of memories that we both share, but I was hoping that we could make many more, starting with today.” Violet explains.
Trixie grabs Katya’s arm, squeezing it. This was it, her plan was going to work.
“I hate how cliché this is, trust me, but I have been waiting for you to say or do something for too long. I like you, a lot, and I don’t care if we’re always traveling and can’t see each other as much, because at the end of the day, my heart still screams for you.” Violet says, standing inches away from Pearl.
The group of friends tried not to make too much noise, but every single one of them was shocked.
“I’m glad you have a lot more balls than I do.” Pearl says, grabbing the back of Violet’s neck and kissing her.
Trixie was the first to get up, hyping the couple up. “YES BITCH!”
The other queens soon joined, overjoyed for Violet and Pearl.
Pearl could not believe that this was happening, Violet was hers, and she was Violet’s.
Violet broke the kiss, a huge smile on her face. “Merry Christmas!”
