Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is just a dnd campaign we have a full table of 8 players, but not every player can make every session, because scheduling conflicts are just Like That. the pcs are

(and all information is pulled from the dnd5e wiki)

Henry of Skalitz: Oath of either Vengeance or redemption paladin depending on player choice, Artisan background

Hans Capon of Pirkstein: Fighter, Arcane Archer, Noble

Father Godwin: Cleric Hermit

Samuel: Haunted One Inquisitive Rogue

Dry Devil: Pyromancy Sorcerer, Criminal.

Kubyenka: Way of the Drunken Master Monk, venmoed the dm 20 bucks with "dibs on the drunk monk" a week before session zero. mercenary.

Adder: Path of the Beast Barbarian (specifically snake-vibes) Mercenary.

Janosh: School of Gastronomy Wizard (from Valda's Spire), Mercenary.

Janosh and Adder's players also sometimes play Istvan Toth and Erik, a Mastermind Rogue with the Knight background and an Oath of Vengeance to Oathbreaker paladin with the acolyte background.  NPCs

Brabant is the dmnpc charlitan swords bard. the table instaclocks that this guy cannot be trusted but he just keeps passing insight checks.

Katherine and Musa are both healers because Godwin both cant keep up and keeps picking combat spells. Jan Zizka is a Folk Hero Banneret Fighter.

gonna go through and actually make charictar sheets for these dumb kids eventually. Also, gonna properly adapt the main quests into a rundown like those XP to level Three lotr but DnD parodies.

Janosh and Adder’s players are dating IRL, every crude comment they say to each other irl just becomes cannon. Henry and Hans (but especially Hans) have the most overly detailed lore, and they are both really into the roleplay. Samuel’s Player just learned about their family trauma and is trying to work through some generational shit (it’s me hi im Samuel’s player) by making an obviously and not even sort of subtle Jewish allegory for this fantasy setting. The dm just sighs and rolls with it since she was planning on adding a religious schism to the world lore at some point so why not have smaller faiths as well. Father Godwin, Kubyenka, and Dry Devil all show up to the table completely hammered. Dry Devil will cast fireball on a room his party members are in. Dry Devil and Kubyenka are actually murderhobos, while Janosh and Adder’s players are just being very in character. After all, Janosh at least can have restraint enough to scheme as Istvan. (The two get teased for only playing couples in every game)

the DM is never going to run a party of this size again

My dnd brain and my kcd2 brain have been overlapping too much so here is a thread of what race and class each kcd2 would be with absolutely no elaboration:

- Henry: half-orc oath of devotion paladin

- Hans: High elf ranger (with Mutt as his animal companion)

Zizka: Human (or water genasi) pact of the blade warlock

Katherine: Tiefling college of whispers bard

Rosa: Aasimar arcane trickster rogue/order of scribes wizard multiclass

Godwin: Firbolg war domain cleric

Dry devil: Gnome assassin rogue/blood hunter multiclass

Adder: Githyanki barbarian

Kubyenka: Dwarf battle master fighter

Janosh: Halfling college of valor bard

Sam: Half-orc barbarian

And honestly all of them could multiclass into rogue

it's been a little bit since i talked about games, so it's time for another gaming corner

so my birthday was a full 12+ hours of dnd (two different games) and it was glorious, plus just spending time with my friends which is always nice. i'm in about four separate games and run two myself, but in the two i played today i'm running a half-elf blighted druid named Raf (they/them) and an aasimar vengeance paladin named Vasir (she/her). they obviously have their Back Stories™️, but one of the campaigns is quite deep in and it would take a long time to get into all that.

aside from dnd stuff, i recently replayed Remnant 2, this time with all of the dlc as a friend gifted the dlc to me a few months ago. overall, i ended up really liking the dlc content, but the dlc base prices are too steep imo, so it's worth waiting until it's all on sale. Losomn still ended up being my favorite world once all was said and done, and sometimes i kind of feel like it was the dev's favorite too. i do have a very special place in my heart for Nerud because i love space shit (go figure), but i'm not a huge fan of the boss content there, so it still comes up short

i've been working my way through a game of Abiotic Factor with a group of friends for the past month or so, and that game is extremely fun. it's a nice blend of typical survival-craft and scp-style lore shenanigans. their 1.0 release is on the horizon, and i can't wait to play the rest of the content

i also purchased kingdom come: deliverance when the first game and all it's dlc were on big big sale recently (because i really wanted to play it but i can't afford to buy games full price rn). that game is an extremely fun immersive roleplay experience, despite its very unique and sometimes frustrating combat system. (i quite like the way the combat functions myself, but it's definitely difficult and a little temperamental when fighting more than one opponent.) i'd like to eventually play kcd2, but i still have a long way before i'm done with the first game and i'd like to finish it first

in addition to all of that, i've started playing crypt of the necrodancer dailies again. i used to play the daily run all the time a few years ago before i fell off a little bit. it's a nice simple game to play when i'm trying to fill 30 minutes with something

Hi! I'm Jules, a 34-year old queer parent of two sons (one teenager and one almost-teenager) from Germany. I'm playing Video Games since 1996, my favorite game of all time is Bloodborne. I'm a Fromsoft junkie in general (Or a masochist?) I deeply love RPG's and tend to hyperfocus on one or two things at a time. Sometimes I write, sometimes I draw. I'm a metal-head by heart, love cosmic horror and also play DND (Mostly as dungeon master if my lovely friend Seige doesn't have mercy on me and takes over the DM role xD).

I got two cats named after video game chars. Cayde (Destiny) and Tali (Mass Effect).

I have a huge memory for video game lore but forget most other things, absolutely love tin-foiling about games. My friends regularly have to suffer from me going on lore-rants.

I love capturing my favorite games via screenshots and gifs. Def a fashion over stats player.
