Semarak HUT PMI, Komunitas Berbagi Lampung Utara Gelar Donor Darah

Komunitas Berbagi Lampung Utara (KBLU) menggelar bhakti sosial donor darah dalam rangka menyemarakkan hari ulang tahun (HUT) palang merah Indonesia (PMI) Ke 78 Tahun 2023. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini pihak panitia menyediakan berbagai macam doorprize yang menarik. Aksi donor darah itu berlangsung di gedung olahraga atau yang dikenal masyarakat setempat GOT stadion Sukung Kotabumi, dan berlangsunv sejak pukul 07.30 WIB pada, Sabtu 16 September 2023. Ketua Komunitas Berbagi Lampung Utara, Siti Widayanti mengatakan acara itu dihadiri oleh Ketua PMI Lampung Utara Dr. Hj. Maya Natali Manan, didampingi Kepala Unit Transfusi Darah Dr. Hj. Aida Subandi, dan Ketua TP PKK Lampung Utara Nur Endah Sulastri beserta Wakil Ketua TP PKK Lampung Utara, Devriyana Marda dan perwakilan forkopimda setempat. Komunitas Berbagi Lampung Utara mengadakan bhakti sosial donor darah ini dalam rangka memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun PMI ke-78 Tahun, kata Siti Widayanti. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, lanjutnya, KBLU bekerjasama PMI Lampung Utara. Untuk para peserta pendonor dilakukan pemeriksaan terlebih dahulu untuk memastikan kondisi tubuh dalam keadaan sehat, seperti tes tensi darah, pemeriksaan riwayat penyakit dan lainnya sampai peserta pendonor dinyatakan siap melakukan donor darah. Selain itu, pihaknya juga menyediakan doorprize untuk pendonor yang beruntung, ya itu disediakan satu unit sepada motor, 1 unit kulkas,1 unit televisi dan kipas angin, megic kom, jam dinding, jaket,Dl dish lock dan hadiah-hadiah lainnya yang diberikan kepada para pendonor yang beruntung. Kegiatan ini diikuti secara antusias oleh masyarakat lampung utara yang turut serta sebagai pendonor. Antusias masyarakat sangat tinggi, ada 628 pendonor yang telah terealisasi dari 800 lebih pendaftaran sebagai peserta donor darah yang kita laksanakan pada hari ini, ujarnya. Semoga apa yang kita lakukan dapat menjadi langkah awal kebaikan untuk membantu saudara kita yang membutuhkan donor darah sehingga tidak ada lagi yang kekurangan darah disaat ada yang membutuhkan, dan semoga berguna bagi masyarakat lampung utara, lanjutnya. Bantu Yatim Piatu, KBLU Serahkan Donasi 17 Juta

Komunitas Berbagi Lampung Utara (KBLU) hari ini, Kamis 12 Oktober 2023 menyalurkan bantuan kepada kakak beradik yatim piatu yang rumahnya terbakar beberap waktu lalu. Ketua Komunitas Berbagi Lampung Utara, Siti Widayanti menuturkan, amanah dari para donasi untuk kakak beradik korban kebakaran rumah, ya itu Rico dan Ardi yang diketahui anak yatim piatu dan tinggal di wilayah Tanah Miring, Kelurahan Kota Alam, Kecamatan Kotabumi Selatan, telah diserahkan. Berita Terkait : Rumah Yatim Piatu Terbakar, Tim Dinsos Kunjungi Korban   "Amanah untuk Rico dan Ardi, anak yatim piatu yang rumahnya habis terbakar, telah disampaikan," ujar Siti Widayanti.  Untuk jumlah bantuan atau donasi yang terkumpul, lanjutnya, sebesar Rp17 juta, atas bantuan tersebut dirinya menyampaikan ungkapan terima kasih kepada para donatur yang telah mengirimkan donasinya untuk korban kebakaran rumah yang diketahui yatim piatu tersebut. K.BLU SWIM AT W SINGAPORE'S GET 2GETHER

K.BLU Swim joined in W Singapore’s 2nd anniversary celebrations last Sunday, the 19th of October. The party started early in the afternoon, and culminated in a scene-stealing K.BLU runway show and performances by international acts.

K.BLU held its first ever runway show in front of dozens of guests. Models showcased pieces from all of K.BLU’s collections, including Spring/Summer 2014’s Precious Porcelain and Azure Sky, and Resort 2014’s Gems Ashore and Le Grande Bleu.

The models had their make-up done flawlessly by NARS, and a whimsical touch in the form of a sailor’s hat contributed to the nautical theme as they gracefully descended from the stairs by the poolside Woo Bar.

Guests who liked what they saw headed over directly to the K.BLU Swim pop-up store, specially set-up for the day, and were able to see and touch the pieces from the show up close.

K.BLU Swim would like to congratulate W Singapore once again on their anniversary, and for inviting us to be a part of the celebrations.

Outfit Post: Ocean Deep

I had reservations posting swimwear on my blog and decided to bite the bullet and post it without any photoshop at all. I need to be comfortable in my own body and that means accepting all the imperfections that come with it. I had the honour of wearing a piece from K.BLU's Resort 2014 collection.

What I love about K.BLU's swimwear is that they are tailored to asian women which means that they cater to the smaller bust and larger thighs. Never had I thought I would ever be able to pull off a bandeau top as my ribs stick out further than the average human being, however, the cup sizes were perfect for my size.

We ventured out to The Entrance North where we knew would have a quiet strip of the beach to ourselves. As soon as we made the 1.5hr journey, we were exhausted and fell asleep on the beach for almost an hour. Thank goodness for sunscreen, I would have burned!

I wore this cute #Celfie cropped top from Boohoo. It also helped with clearing all the sand off me. That's one thing I don't think I'll be able to get used to and that's sand getting everywhere. We still have it in the car and in our beach tent.

I finally went into the water (technically yes, but feet only as it was still 25 degrees at The Entrance with winds dropping the temperature). The water was freezing and for those who know me, I never usually go to the beach to swim in the ocean, rather just relax and literally sleep. Let's just say, this is me letting loose! It's another step closer to letting go and unwinding the proper way without an organiser in my hand with scheduled times to relax.

I have decided to upload these photos without any filters, editing (just shadow adjustments in Lightroom) and without any airbrushing. You will notice that I'm like everyone else, I have eczema on my skin, I have stretch marks, untamed hair and a list of imperfections.

I have been asked on several occasions about my workout routine and how I stay "fit" and truth be told, I'm far from being fit. Recently, we have invested in a treadmill in the hopes of one day being fit and finally working on our long term health. At the moment, I find it exhausting just running across the road!

I had the honour of meeting Lyn Rosmarin, the founder of K.BLU and talked about everything from business, life and goals. It was a pleasure meeting someone who has such a successful swimwear line and has never strayed from the integrity of her brand. She has put in so much research and made sure that the support of the swimwear takes precedence over how it looks because at the end of the day, you need to be comfortable in what you wear.

I am wearing the shell sprint pattern. As I was worried about sizing, I chose to wear the bottoms with ribbons so that it would be adjustable for me. The pattern is unique and eye-catching.

I wore a Fossil watch on the day and can't wait to show you guys more detail shots of it as well as the awesome event that came along with it to celebrate the milestone achievement of Fossil's 30th Anniversary.

The bandeau comes with straps, however to keep me from getting tan lines, I decided to tuck the straps into the bandeau. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to hold up the bandeau without the traps but it held up really well, even with all the jumping and running I was doing that day.

It's not even summer yet and I've already got my first swimwear post up on my blog. In my 5 years of blogging, this makes it the second post, ever.

I've been working on something and will be posting it soon. I know I'm very vague about it but I don't like saying something that never happens or contradict myself so I'll create a small hype over it. I'll have another post up tomorrow so stay tuned!
