Okay gang, back in dire straits again, but this time, wasn't my fault
As far as I know, I don't! Have to pay shit! For the surgery! Based on a lot of mixed info, payment hasn't come up once, thanks to Medicaid. All I had to do was a 4$ copay and 4$ copay for the medicine. Not sure how that works. I don't pay for insurance as far as I know. But somehow I had it.
This surely won't come to bite me in the ass later!
HOWEVER.
I am out of work for the next 6 weeks because, lo and behold: I can't lift more than 10 to 15 lbs, and UPS is. A gym, essentially. I could go in to work, but that would without a doubt: A. lead me to getting injured, and B. probably be more costly to do because they might just send me home anyways, as they aren't legally required to give me light work. And I don't have a car, so I'd have to take Ubers.
I have 3.40$ to my name right now due to a secondary infection that I had to buy my own shit for.
What does this mean?
I need assistance. Again. :(
Rents are due on the 15th now, with a five day grace period. 650$ a month, thank god. But all I can do for money is commissions, as I can't yet stream (not that that cultivated much profit worth speaking about anyways but yknow). So I need help again!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I make okay art! Sometimes! Been in a bit of a rut, but I don't have time for that right now, so who cares!!
You can commission me on VGEN here, and I also have updated my KoFi for those who don't want to use / can't use VGEN.
Surgery recovery has me struggling in every direction, and this definitely was not how this month was supposed to go, and I'm mad about it, but I won't be made to sit and suffer.
So please consider helping out, whether through reblogs or monetarily, whichever is more affordable. Thank you!

katawa shoujo commission - excerpt
note: this takes place after a significant timeskip. the characters are college-aged. (CW: surgery, pulmonary embolism, resuscitation, F/F with male nurses)
Dr. Kaori was known to fight hard for her patients, and Misha would prove to be no exception. She ordered her team around with an edge to her voice that, to them, was particularly pronounced. Though she had reprimanded Dr. Tashido for his attachments, it was only out of denial of her own: she couldn’t save Shizune from an early death, but she would not damn Misha to the same fate.
Regardless, it didn’t make sense to her. Misha didn’t have any of the risk factors of deep vein thrombosis. She hadn’t had surgery. Wasn’t pregnant. Wasn’t on birth control. Stayed physically active. And yet, her bloodwork had all the markers of a massive pulmonary embolism. The doctor believed the answer lie in the only unknown variable: Misha’s family history. But seeing as this was no better than nothing at all, she put it out of her mind.
“Where the hell is that radiologist?” Dr. Kaori hopped off the table and pressed her fingers into Misha’s neck. She had a pulse now, but it was extremely tentative. “She’s not responding to the streptokinase. We need to find this clot so we can manually break it up, and we need to find it now."
The aforementioned radiologist filed in as she was speaking.
“About time.” Dr. Kaori grabbed the wand. In tandem, the radiologist squeezed more conductive jelly onto her chest and powered the device on.
The room was tense and quiet as she massaged the transducer over Misha’s body. The sonogram flashed with images of her heart, struggling to beat, and then to her lungs as the ventilator opened and deflated them.
“There,” the radiologist pointed to the partial blockage deep in a pulmonary artery.
Dr. Kaori was relieved. The streptokinase had helped—it just hadn’t completelydissolved the clot. “Get the cath kit. And hold her up for a sec—I want to get a good look at that bruise.”
A nurse propped her up while another hurried away to get the requested supplies. Dr. Kaori was quick and decisive in her diagnosis: the clot had formed at the site of the bruise and moved into her heart and lungs. But, as if to spite the speed of the doctor’s decisions, her rhythm began veering off-course in short bursts. Her heart rate climbed and climbed.
“She’s throwing lots of PACs. Should we get her into surgery?”
“There isn’t time. We do it here. Establish the sterile field—we’ll go in through the right femoral.”
Her assistants immediately jumped to the task. They draped dark green cloth over her body so that only her groin and chest were in focus; dabbed the impending incision site with golden brown antiseptic. The radiologist took her post with the ultrasound wand, Dr. Kaori administered the sedation, and the procedure began posthaste.
“BP’s holding.” A nurse reported when the skin was broken. “Pulse is dropping.”
“Right.” Dr. Kaori glanced up to Misha’s face. “You just hang on a little while longer.”
The surgeon quickly snaked the catheter up Misha’s femoral artery, assisted by both its own tiny ultrasound equipment and the radiologist’s expert hand at the site of the clot.
“Stabilizing at one-ten,” the nurse again chimed in.
Dr. Kaori nodded without taking her eyes off the displays. “Alright. Let’s bust this damn thing.”
More thrombolytic medication was forced into the remaining clot. Misha’s vital signs began to stabilize. The catheter was pulled back out.
For all but a fraction of a second, things seemed to have gone off without a hitch. All at once, her monitors became animated—the traces were erratic, the numbers fluctuated wildly, and several alarms went off.
“We’re gonna lose her… Everything’s bottoming out!” The nurse watching her vital signs exclaimed.
Dr. Kaori’s mind raced.
“Start the dopamine and chest compressions,” she ordered flatly.
“Could she be bleeding somewhere else? We don’t know how she got that bruise or how old it is.”
“Physical exam didn’t turn up anything else.” The doctor prepared a shot of epinephrine. “Sudden cardiac arrest. Nothing else fits.”
But the liquid adrenaline gave her no quarter. The doctor ordered the nurse off, but the line still came up flat. “Resume. Prepping more epi.”
The second infusion had Misha’s poor heart thick with fibrillation, but Dr. Kaori was simply grateful for something to work with. She dialed in three-hundred joules, unslotted the paddles…
“Off. Going at three-sixty in three, two, one…”

Hey there! I've been following for ages but with social media suppressing posts I feel like I haven't been able to follow along for all the OC lore.
Would it be ok to ask for a brief explainer on each OC? Like just a little 'name, job, background' for each? I hope that's ok, sorry if it's too much work!
Aw, it’s not a problem at all! I’m flattered that you’d want to get to know my funky fellas. These 3 are my active OCs and what I can share on them.

These ones are from finished campaigns
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have more as I play alongside my friends a lot, but I’ll refrain from them for now. I tend to keep my OC roster as small as possible because I love the idea of finishing up a character’s story or just having reoccurring faces heehee

"Pictured: Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate for South Korea's Democratic Party, gestures while standing next to his wife Kim Hye-kyung, as he greets his supporters in front of the National Assembly in Seoul, South Korea, June 4, 2025.
Summary
Election called after president ousted over martial law
Lee leading with more than 49% after 99% of votes tallied
Main conservative rival Kim Moon-soo conceded defeat
New leader faces challenge of healing polarised society, shielding economy from U.S. tariffs
Nearly 80% of 44.39 million eligible voters cast ballots
South Korea's liberal party candidate, Lee Jae-myung, was elected president in Tuesday's [June 3, 2025] snap election, six months to the day after he evaded military cordons to vote against a shock martial law decree imposed by his ousted predecessor.
Lee's victory stands to usher in a political sea change in Asia's fourth-largest economy, after the backlash against the martial law brought down Yoon Suk Yeol, the conservative outsider who narrowly beat Lee in the 2022 election.
Nearly 80% of South Korea's 44.39 million eligible voters cast their ballots, the highest turnout for a presidential election in the country since 1997, with Lee terming the polls "judgment day" against Yoon's martial law and the People Power Party's failure to distance itself from that decision.
With more than 99% of the votes counted, the Democratic Party's Lee stood at 49.3% to PPP candidate Kim Moon-soo's 41.3%, according to National Election Commission data.
A subdued Kim conceded the race and congratulated Lee in brief remarks to reporters.
Lee had long been favoured to win, and his supporters erupted in cheers as exit polls by the country's major broadcasters showed him defeating Kim by wide margins.
In a brief speech to supporters gathered outside parliament after the polls closed, Lee said he would fulfil the duties of the office and bring unity to the country.
"We can overcome this temporary difficulty with the combined strength of our people, who have great capabilities," he said.
He also vowed to revive the economy and seek peace with nuclear-armed North Korea through dialogue and strength.
The martial law decree and the six months of ensuing turmoil, which saw three different acting presidents and multiple criminal insurrection trials for Yoon and several top officials, marked a stunning political self-destruction for the former leader and effectively handed the presidency to his main rival.
Yoon was impeached by the Lee-led parliament, then removed from office by the Constitutional Court in April, less than three years into his five-year term, triggering the snap election that now stands to remake the country's political leadership and foreign policies of a key U.S. ally.
Lee has accused the PPP of having condoned the martial law attempt by not fighting harder to thwart it and even trying to save Yoon's presidency...
Need for Change
Park Chan-dae, acting leader of Lee's Democratic Party, told KBS that the projections suggest voters rejected the martial law attempt and are hoping for an improvement in their livelihoods.
"I think people made a fiery judgment against the insurrection regime," he said.
The winner must tackle challenges including a society deeply scarred by divisions made more obvious since the attempt at military rule, and an export-heavy economy reeling from unpredictable protectionist moves by the United States, a major trading partner and a security ally.
Both Lee and Kim pledged change for the country, saying a political system and economic model set up during its rise as a budding democracy and industrial power are no longer fit for purpose.
Their proposals for investment in innovation and technology often overlapped, but Lee advocated more equity and help for mid- to low-income families while Kim campaigned on giving businesses more freedom from regulations and labour strife.
Lee is expected to be more conciliatory toward China and North Korea, but has pledged to continue the Yoon-era engagement with Japan."

Enterprise 64/128 (1985) (formerly ELAN 64/128)
After the 1982 introduction of the ZX Spectrum, Hong Kong trading company Locumals commissioned Intelligent Software to develop a home computer in the UK. During development, the machine had the codename DPC. The machine was also known by the names Samurai, Oscar, Elan, and Flan before the Enterprise name was finally chosen. The succession of name changes was mainly due to the discovery of other machines and companies with the chosen name.
The Enterprise has a 4 MHz Z80 CPU, 64 KB or 128 KB of RAM, and 32 KB of internal read-only memory that contains the EXOS operating system and a word processor. The BASIC programming language was supplied on a 16 KB ROM cartridge, it had to be inserted into the left side of the machine. Cartridges containing other programming languages (Forth, Lisp, Pascal) were also produced. In this way, games or user programs could be stored on the cartridges. The maximum supported ROM size of the cartridges was 64Kb.
Two application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chips take some of the workload off of the central processor. They are named 'NICK' and 'DAVE' after their designers, Nick Toop, who had previously worked on the Acorn Atom, and Dave Woodfield. 'NICK' manages graphics, while 'DAVE' handles sound and memory paging. The Z80, like all 8-bit CPUs, could only address 64 KB of memory, so "bank switching" was required to access more memory. The Enterprise's memory can be expanded to 4 MB without any tricks (and this is a 'plain' 8-bit machine like the ZX-Spectrum or Commodore 64)
Enterprise was announced to the press in September 1983, and some 80,000 machines were pre-ordered by the time of its April 1984 sales launch. The product did not ship until 1985, by which point the UK home computer market was already dominated by the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, and Acorn BBC Micro with the 16-bit era on the horizon (Commodore Amiga, Atarti ST, etc)
After the initial manufacturing run of 80,000 units, it is believed that no further units were made, so the Enterprise is among the rarer home computers of the 1980s.

Hi! I was wondering if it's alright to make fanart of your Titanfall oc Red with proper credit to you :)
NGL I had to sleep on this one. Because on one hand, fanart is ALWAYS cool, and I treasure the commissioned works I have on this guy. On the other- yeah, still feeling real cagey about some of the stuff that happened. So, really appreciate you asking.
The problem with Red is he started out as extremely Canon adjacent as a personality assigned to Blisk’s Titan but he became so much more than that. I started writing for him (and KB) at the end of I think 2017 and have continued to do so in RP and fanfic p much on the daily ever since. I’ve given a lot of myself to Red, the good and the bad (he has my impatience and my temper for example) and he’s kind of become a love letter to myself- a reminder that I am worthy of love, and of care… and as such, became way too gotdamn important to me and I am trying very hard now to separate the self from the creation in kind of a too-late damage control. Oops 🙃
I love him, he is my comfort character, and I love that others love him too. I’d love it more if folks respect my boundaries about him. Sticking him in fics and RPs (yes someone was RPing him without my involvement 🫠) is not cool but yeah. Yeah fanart is cool. Thank you for asking.
Have an old as balls ref sheet I did for myself a few years back in prep for this outrageously awesome plushie commission I got from StitchyButton over on Etsy (highly recommend if you can afford)
Tumblr media
You wanna know how much of a fucking nerd I am I have the keychains for his fun-sized Predator cannon there AND a pair of converse chucks I painted to match the boots now too 🤣

Hydrogen, Biofuels & CCS: The Triple Drivers of Co-refining Growth
The global co-refining market is undergoing a significant transformation as nations and industries pivot toward cleaner energy alternatives. Valued at US$ 39.7 Bn in 2023, the market is poised for substantial growth, expected to expand at a CAGR of 6.0% from 2024 to 2034, reaching US$ 73.0 Bn by 2034. This surge is primarily fueled by global efforts to decarbonize the energy sector, rising adoption of biofuels, and technological advancements in petroleum refining processes.
What Is Co-refining?
Co-refining, or co-processing, refers to the integration of renewable or alternative feedstocks—such as biomass, used cooking oil, animal fats, vegetable oils, and waste plastics—with traditional crude oil in existing refineries. These hybrid feedstocks are refined to produce transportation fuels and petrochemical intermediates, helping to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Processes involved in co-refining include:
Key Growth Drivers
1. Low-carbon Economy Push
The global movement toward a net-zero emissions future is encouraging refiners to adopt co-refining techniques. With road transport oil demand expected to peak before 2030, largely due to the rise of electric vehicles (EVs), traditional fossil refineries are under pressure to adapt. Co-refining allows refineries to continue operations while contributing to emission reduction targets.
Investments in renewable hydrogen, sustainable biofuels, and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies are reshaping the industry. For instance, in May 2024, the European Commission awarded nearly €720 Mn to seven renewable hydrogen projects. Similarly, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) committed US$ 7 Bn to hydrogen hubs across the U.S.
2. Biofuel Adoption Rising
The rise in biofuel integration is another major factor propelling the market. Biofuels are particularly suited to decarbonize hard-to-electrify transport sectors like aviation and shipping. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), 2022 marked a decade-high in biofuel capacity additions, reaching 260 kb/d.
Petroleum refineries already possess the necessary infrastructure to process bio-based materials. Co-refining thus presents a cost-effective, scalable pathway to increase Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) production without building new facilities.
Regional Outlook: Europe Leads the Charge
Europe dominated the co-refining market in 2023, driven by climate goals and biofuel production mandates. The EU-27 recorded around 16 million tons of oil equivalent (Mtoe) of biofuels in 2020, representing 6.3% of total transport fuel consumption, according to IEA data.
Furthermore, Europe is a hub of innovation in CCS. The COREu project led by SINTEF—the largest CCS-focused R&I project under Horizon Europe—reflects the region's commitment to accelerating low-carbon refining solutions.
Market Segmentation Snapshot

By Process:
By Product:
Key Players & Developments
Top companies in the co-refining landscape include:
Recent developments include:
Analyst Viewpoint
Co-refining is emerging as a practical, scalable solution for refineries looking to remain relevant in a decarbonizing world. As regulatory pressure mounts and carbon pricing mechanisms tighten, integrating renewable feedstocks into existing infrastructure offers both cost advantages and environmental benefits.
From reducing lifecycle GHG emissions to enabling compliance with renewable fuel standards, co-refining is positioned at the crossroads of sustainability and refinery innovation. It also aligns with international climate commitments such as the Paris Agreement and supports regional efforts to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
Final Thoughts
The future of the co-refining market is increasingly being shaped by sustainability, policy support, and the rapid evolution of bio-based feedstocks. As the industry advances toward 2034, expect more collaborative ventures, policy-driven funding, and technological enhancements to accelerate this transition.
Refineries that invest early in co-refining capabilities are likely to benefit not only from regulatory compliance and ESG alignment but also from long-term profitability and market leadership in a greener economy.
