The Beginning

The idea to make The Outsiders into a musical first came from Francis Coppola’s company, which owns the stage rights. Fred Roos, who was one of the movie's producers, thought that the story would attract theater goers. He proposed this to S. E. Hinton, and though at first she was surprised and a bit skeptical, she let him run with it.

They then needed to find a creative team. The Araca group were bought on as producers, and they started looking for songwriters to write the music for the show. Their goal was to find someone who had never written a musical before. In 2015 they reached out to the songwriting duo from Texas known as Jamestown Revival. (Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance.) They asked them to write a few songs as a sort of audition, so Jamestown wrote two songs: one was slower, and they assumed the producers would hate it. The other was more fast paced and ‘Broadway,’ which they assumed the producers would like. They sent in the second one, and the Araca Group hated it. They then decided to send in the first one. This time the Araca Group loved it. This song was called Stay Gold, and it remains in the show to this day. Adam Rapp was the next person to join the creative team. He was a novelist and playwright who had also never worked on a musical before. He wasn’t sure about joining the project at first due to those reasons, but once he heard the music, he knew he couldn’t pass up this chance. Justine Levine joined to do a variety of things, including working on the book and score. He had been working on musicals for years, so he sort of functioned as a musical theater guide to Jamestown and Adam. Liesl Tommy was brought on to direct, and Lorin Lattaro became the choreographer.

Not much is known about the first cast of the show. We do know that Josh Strobl played Ponyboy, and that Ryan Vazquez played Darry. We also know that Sky joined as Johnny in 2018. He first auditioned for Two-Bit, because he believed that he could only play the comedic relief character due to the role he was playing in Dear Evan Hansen (Jared). However Liesl Tommy (the director) knew immediately that he was Johnny. Sky only had the Two-Bit sides, and due to his dyslexia couldn’t learn the Johnny ones in the room. Liesl Tommy told him that he could just take home the sides and send in a tape, and the role has been his since. Brody Grant and Emma Pittman also had auditioned for the show at this time.

The show was set to premiere in Chicago's Goodman theater on June 20, 2020. However, due to Covid, this never happened. They were then set to premier at the Goodman on May 27, 2022. But in January of 2022, they announced that their opening would be postponed indefinitely. This premier never ended up happening. Instead, a few members of the creative team were replaced, and the show made its world premiere about a year later, at the La Jolla playhouse.

Hypnosis: Passion Project

Poor Adam Levine despite the active roaring success of his band Maroon 5 a bought with his own compulsion to be self obsessed has been leaked to the public.

Within a few hours the public turns on him like a light switch, the media coverage blows up everywhere and there cease to be a day or channel you can escape it.

I deviantly watch with delight as he unravels before us all a video shows him erupting in a fiery row with his current wife fist pump in the air.

He shouts out loud obscenities bouncing on the wall his voice hit the crescendo bumps in to the air back at him and he is left totally disheveled.

The multiple camera crews descending on to him from all corners of the world forcing them in his face and he attempts or make a hasty mistake.

His reputation permanently damaged no way to repair it swirling down a long winding path to his own self distraction his mind goes out of order.

The gavel slams on to the desk sentencing him to therapy extended for as long as need be and unfortunately I am the one who he is assigned to.

Sitting behind my desk I can clearly see him in the distance driving up to the parking lot he parks and exist his car. Unable to enter the building he paces the block.

I am quite amuse at the actions this man is taking to remove himself for this situation at all cost and I cannot believe it when he walk in.

The doors swing to the side opening to the hall and stopping any movement at the sight of the extended hall way so lengthy a feeling of intimidation accompanies.

The door to my office pushes forward as he is now in my sight with an expression of full utter disgust and scowl of contempt be sits on my couch.

I want do feel something for this joke of a man but he has seriously fallen forget from his stardom but from any moral ground if he ever had it.

Standing up from my chair I push it back from me walking out from behind it to the door locking it shut and face me happily with a wicked smirk.

He is distraught so I calm him down with a hand on his shoulder patting him hard them digging in to my pocket I lift it from my pants pocket.

Pressing a redish black button on to the top of the giant remote causing the television to blur on and a static signal transforming in to a spiral.

Instantly Adam is drawn in to the television screen his body leans forward eyes glued completely to it unable to move except to stare.

His mouth agape wide open lips parting so I can see him, the spit trickling from his mouth through his lips to his cheeks, a stupefied expression over comes him.

His arms sliding off of the couch to the end of dropping to the floor his fingers touch to a cold response and he is fading out of his reality.

Snapping my finger into the air his head fell forward on to the lap slipping in to deep coma like sleep and he rolls off to the edge of the couch.

Taking my hand I use my palm pressing it to his skill I push it back till his head hits the top of the chair and he mentally embraces it all.

Body slumping back on to the couch he is melting away and I now I own his mind so we’ll all because I am more powerful then he can imagine.

Kneeling in position I pull his eye lids up to the sky checking to see if he is still awake and security steps in my soul confidence rising.

happily I begin to undress him unbuttoning one button at a time, his shirt spreads open removing it and undoing his belt form his pants.

Using my energy kicks his shoes to the side of the room, socks are next thrown in to the air and his pants are next leaving him in the light half naked.

“Once I snap my finger waking you up.”

“You will be a blank slate”

“No longer Adam Levine”

“1…2…3”

“Snap”

“Oh! Hey!”

“Do you remember who you are?”

“No! Who am I?”

“Perfect! Watch this video”

“Wait!….Woah!”

“Mwahahahahaha “

“Yyyyeeeesssss!”

“I’ll go in to the light”

Bodies are grinding on the wall against each other unknowingly confirming I have smash summer hit album on my hands.

Fortunately for me my programming begins to take shape causing the office to shut down instantly because the party is on.

The President of Miracle Records a major new independent label who will being home to a major selling work of art.

The door closes behind us is at a loss for any words due to the simple fact his life is a sham.

People of dark agendas use every job on this planet to corrupt all humans in our existence.

He knelt feeling the power falling in to the palm of my hand and he reins not more a pair of papers appearing.

Hands one each take a pen signing control to me for a lifetime, they become the same employees they mistreated all these years.

Ranking of “WHITE HOUSE PLUMBERS” (2023) Episodes

Below is my ranking of the episodes from “WHITE HOUSE PLUMBERS”, the HBO adaptation of “Integrity”, Egil Krogh and Matthew Krogh’s 2007 book about Watergate.  Directed by David Mandel, the limited series starred Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux:

RANKING OF “WHITE HOUSE PLUMBERS” (2023) EPISODES

1.  (1.03) “Don’t Drink the Whiskey at the Watergate” - Nixon Administration “plumbers” led by E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy attempt to break into the Democratic National Committee offices at the Watergate Hotel to plant listening devices for the White House.

2.  (1.04) “The Writer’s Wife” - Reeling from the arrests at the Watergate, Hunt enlists his son Saint John's help to dispose of evidence, while Liddy warns the acting Attorney General that the burglaries can be tied back to President Nixon. Later, after returning from Paris, a livid Dorothy Hunt must take control to protect her family and the Liddys.

3.  (1.02) “Please Destroy This, Huh?” - While Hunt and Dorothy entertain Liddy and his wife Fran at their exclusive country club, their kids Lisa and Saint John paint a less-than-perfect portrait of the family.  On the outs with Nixon's Attorney General John Mitchell, Hunt and Liddy get a chance to redeem themselves when a leaked memo from Dita Beard puts Mitchell and the administration in legal jeopardy.

4.  (1.05) “True Believers” - Amid rumors of the White House's involvement, Liddy shares his concerns about Hunt's stability with White House Counsel John Dean and tries to make a deal. Hunt's daughter Kevan leverages a secret notebook to convince her father to come clean in his testimony to the U.S. Senate.

5.  (1.01) “The Beverly Hills Burglary” - A year before the infamous Watergate break-in, Hunt and Liddy are tasked with investigating the Pentagon Papers leak, gathering a team of Cubans - all Bay of Pigs veterans - to infiltrate whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg's psychiatrist's office. Meanwhile, the Hunts get to know the Liddys.
