MCU Timeline: Captain America: The First Avenger
March 10, 1917 - James Buchanan Barnes is born.
August 15, 1917 - Howard Anthony Stark is born.
July 4, 1918 - Steven Grant Rogers is born.
April 9, 1919 - Margaret "Peggy" Carter is born.
Why 1919 (deleted scene from The Avengers) and not 1921 (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), as stated in Wikipedia: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is not canon for the MCU (events of the show take place in another universe, where Peggy was born in a different year and had a different background).
1934-1936 - young Peggy serves as a nurse in the British Air Force.
1936-1940 - Peggy serves in the Special Air Service.
1940:
Peggy joins the Strategic Scientific Reserve.
Howard founds Stark Industries and becomes its CEO.
May 1941 - Steven Rogers attends a Dodgers vs The Phillies baseball game at Ebbets Field, Brooklyn.
March 1942 - Red Skull invades Norway and extracts the Tesseract.
1942/1943 - The Allies receive a gift from Wakanda: Vibranium. It is given to the SSR's Head Engineer - Howard Stark.
1943:
June 14:
13:50 - Steve gets his last 4F.
And his last beating in the alley a couple of hours later.
Evening - he and Bucky go to the "World Exposition of Tomorrow", where Howard demonstrates his (almost) flying car. Steve meets Dr. Erskine and gets a (falsified) 1A.
June 15:
Sergeant James Barnes heads to Europe with the 107th Infantry Regiment.
Candidate Rogers begins his trial week for Project Rebirth at Camp Lehigh in NJ.
June 21 - Dr. Erskine makes his choice and informs Rogers. They talk about it, about the serum and HYDRA.
June 22, morning - Steve becomes a super soldier. Erskine is killed. The last vial of serum is destroyed.
June 23:
Rogers is offered a position in the USO theater (to help sell war bonds) and receives a (fake) rank of captain.
Night - SSR (including Peggy and Howard) is being retasked to fight HYDRA and goes to London, UK.
July-October - Captain America's US tour (over 200 performances).
November 3rd:
Captain America show in Italy.
Night - Steve goes behind the lines to a HYDRA camp in Austria to rescue Bucky with the help of Peggy and Howard.
November 5th - he returns with 400 (CATFA) or 163 (CATWS) liberated soldiers.
A couple of days later - SSR in London. Based on the locations of HYDRA bases remembered by Rogers, they develop a plan to combat HYDRA. Steve puts together a team.
Marvel Studios' mistake: the medals and badges Steve wears don't make any sense at this particular moment. He simply had neither the time nor the opportunity to earn the Combat Infantry Badge, or the Presidential Unit Citation Badge, nor could he receive the American Defense Service Medal.
Next day, 8 am- Steve meets with Howard and receives his vibranium shield.
1944:
November 1943 - November 1944 - Howling Commandos destroy HYDRA weapons factories.
December 1944 - January 1945 - attack on the train with Dr. Zola. Bucky falls from the train from a great height and is declared killed in action. Zola is captured.
1945:
Soon after, early January - the Valkyrie is finished and ready to attack major US cities. SSR receives information about the location of HYDRA's main base in the Alps and heads there.
Next day - SSR attacks HYDRA's main base. Red Skull teleports to Vormir. The Tesseract is lost in the Arctic Ocean. Crash of the Valkyrie. Steve goes into suspended animation.
After January 1945 - Howard Stark leads expeditions to find Rogers. He finds the Tesseract, but not Captain.
March 23, 1945 - Case №17 is opened. James Barnes "joined" the HYDRA branch in the USSR.
May 8, 1945 - VE-Day.
Spring-Summer 1945 - Howard is involved in the Manhattan Project.
1946:
December 1945/January 1946 - Peggy is assigned to the SSR office in New York.
March 1946 - events of "Agent Carter" one-shot.
2012:
Early 2012 - 67 years later, Steve Rogers is found frozen but alive.
April 2012 - Rogers wakes up in the S.H.I.E.L.D. recovery room in New York City.

*** This is the 3rd part of Digimon Xros Wars saga with Tagiru, Yuu and Taiki as the protagonists. This 3rd part has the overly long title so we fans prefer to call it 'Digimon Xros Wars: Hunters' or 'Digimon Young Hunters'.
**** Yes, this movie has an overly long title. I had a hard time deciding whether to highlight it in bold or not.
Happy Digimon Day!

what are the dates for each of the first songs taylor wrote for each album? (aka which date did she write the first song for debut, fearless, etc etc?)
debut:
first song: a perfectly good heart, written sometime in 2003
last song: should’ve said no, written on august 10, 2006
fearless
first song on taylor’s version: you all over me, written summer 2005
first song on the platinum edition: either superstar, written sometime in 2006, or come in with the rain, written in september 2006
first song on the standard edition: white horse, written in december 2006
last song: forever and always, written september 22 2008
EDIT: totally completely forgot about mr perfectly fine, written sometime in 2009 (i’m pretty sure on march 11, 2009, but that’s a whole other rant)
speak now
first song: sparks fly, written fall 2006
the first song written purely for the album will probably be one of the vault tracks, but if this was a movie (~april 2009) is the first one we’ve heard, or maybe haunted/never grow up, which were written sometime in 2009
last song: the story of us, written and recorded between june 9-16 2010
red
first song: stay stay stay, written sometime in summer 2010
first song written purely for the album: all too well, written between december 2010-march 2011
last song (kinda): i knew you were trouble (the chorus was written as a piano ballad ~january 2012, but the verses and bridge and general sound wasn’t put together until june 2-7, 2012)
1989
first song: this love, written october 17 2012
last song: style, written february 19, 2014
reputation
first song: gorgeous, written september 2-19 2016
last song: so it goes, written september 2017 (both lwymmd AND ready for it were already released as singles this woman is INSANE)
lover (this is the one i’m shakiest on)
first song: daylight, written summer 2018
last song: i think death by a thousand cuts, which had to have been written after april 20, 2019 (for context, 6 days before me! was set to release), but i’ve seen some people say london boy, since the sample at the beginning wasn’t approved until very late (sometime in july iirc)
folklore
first song: my tears ricochet, likely written fall 2019 (taylor has said it’s the first song she wrote for folklore, we just don’t know when)
last song: hoax, written sometime in july 2020, days before the album was released
evermore
first song: dorthea, written “around folklore”, likely sometime in july 2020
last song: happiness, written in the first week of december 2020, once again days before the album was released
midnights
i straight up don’t know, but it was mostly written and recorded in november 2021
if you want to listen to the albums in order, check out my playlist!

“Don’t worry about things. Don’t push. Just do your work and you’ll survive. The important thing is to have a ball, to be joyful, to be loving and to be explosive. Out of that comes everything and you grow.”
"Looking back over a lifetime, you see that love was the answer to everything."
“You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.”
“I don’t believe in being serious about anything. I think life is too serious to be taken seriously.”
"If you write a hundred short stories and they are bad, that doesn’t mean you’ve failed. You fail only if you stop writing."
"May you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days."
- Ray Bradbury (Aug 22, 1920 – June 5, 2012)

my mom recently read in a novel that some larger praying mantis species have been known to kill and eat hummingbirds. I know about bird-eating tarantulas, but I was curious if you knew of other insects who prey on birds, mammals, etc.? I know most will scavenge anything, but what abt critters who hunt? the idea of insects who hunt large prey is fascinating to me
large generalist predatory insects like mantises and katydids predominantly eat other insects, but the majority of the vertebrate prey they take is probably frogs and lizards, and typically ones smaller than themselves. hummingbirds might not be too representative of typical vertebrate prey because (I believe I heard a mantis researcher say) their metabolism is so tightly wound that the stress of being caught is enough to kill them, and all the mantis has to do is hang on, which they definitely can do. still, vertebrate predation is pretty impressive for orthopterans and mantodeans, since they’ve got to do it all without venom!
army ants of various types are also famous for their ability to catch vertebrates, but most army ants are actually specialists on other social insects (ants, wasps, termites), and the few generalist predator army ants still predominantly prey on invertebrates (and don’t skeletonize cows and horses like they do in cartoons).
diving beetles will hunt fish and aquatic amphibians—there’s a reason their larvae are called “water tigers!” belostomatid water bugs are probably the most impressive aquatic vertebrate-eaters though, and use powerful venom to subdue surprisingly large fish, tadpoles, and even other vertebrates:
outside of insects, there’s a lot of spiders that can feed on herptiles, either by overpowering them with strength like huntsmen and tarantulas, or by snaring them in webs like widows, the most successful snake eaters:
plus, there’s always the famous Nephila orbweavers whose sturdy webs can catch avian prey, but this is probably a fairly rare occurrence.
going over to centipedes, giant scolopendrids are quite successful predators of vertebrates, with any species large enough likely preying on herptiles, and occasionally on some far larger than they are!
Scolopendra venom is evolved to take down large prey, so it’s no surprise they’re some of the most prolific vertebrate-eaters in the arthropod world. some very large Scolopendra (gigantea, maybe galapagoensis, viridicornis, heros) will hunt bats, sometimes by hanging to catch them in flight. other predation on mammals and birds seems to occur opportunistically, especially where the prey is helpless: S. galapagoensis was recorded feeding on baby rodents in the Galapagos; other island species like Cormocephalus coynei will feed on seabird chicks (enough with the “fluffy” avian favoritism, Nature! ‘pedes gotta eat).
oh, speaking of nestling-devouring, there’s also some freaky observations of slugs munching on soft mushy songbird babies! someone on Twitter had their nest camera record some chicks getting eaten by a large Carabus ground beetle, but I can’t find it again.
but I think the most shocking example of vertebrate predation by an invertebrate is probably Epomis, another ground beetle. as larvae, they feed on frogs far larger than they are by letting themselves get attacked, latching onto the would-be predator, and munching on it until it perishes. adult beetles also prey on amphibians, but just run them down instead of luring prey.
youtube
(there’s also video of the adult beetles preying on frogs, but they seem to all be stolen by some weird content scraper YT channels, so I’ll not post them here.)
let me know if I missed any good examples of vertebrate predation by bugs!
