Wow.
I'm completely blown over by this beautiful and flattering review.
This is a copy and paste of the translation form the original French version.
Merry Christmas to everyone involved.
Great criticism of Gilles Rolland, we rewind, which offers a passionate and just analysis of the very beautiful always of Yann Danh, with Cameron McHarg, Aurelie Meriel and Julien Ratel.
" in the small world of the French short film, Director Yann Danh was able to stand out. His film, at all costs, a dramatic thriller with quite crazy intensity, has indeed crossed many borders, raked many prizes, and demonstrated, among other qualities (especially at the level of actors), the undeniable paw of the man behind The whole company. Needless to say, the arrival on the net of his new project led to a few hopes not stung of worms.
With always, Yann Danh already proves that he does not intend to remain compartmentalized in particular. Good-bye, badass guys with moods at all costs. Always talk about love. With a big L. Based on the simple and universal feelings that unite a man and a woman, the film opts for blatant sincerity and never seeks to get out of the frame. Obviously not at all inclined to sink into the pure demonstration of force (while it is widely available), dahn leaves the field free to emotion. It is quickly felt that everything is not so pink in this modern love story, especially through the use of different tones in the image, as to highlight several distinct temporalities, but no abstain for that. Without Dialogue, and thanks to a leadership of actors always at the top, the director leaves his actors the care to communicate by their gestures and looks, emotions in which it is easy to recognize and by which it is tempting to leave Invade. We must also welcome the wonderfully sensitive game of Aurélie Meriel and Cameron Mcharg, rather visceral and perfectly inscribed in the approach of the whole.
By taking the look of a bittersweet reverie, always remembered the great hours of Terrence Malick's cinema. Especially works like wonder, including melancholy romantic wanderings, in which music plays a great role, share with the short of Yann Danh an identity with a rather vague appearance, but actually quite defined. Abstract but not too much, always says a lot of things in a short time Until the end, of which we will not of course reveal anything here, it holds good and does not deviate to fall into excess, vulgarity or the irrelevant.
Imbued with infinite grace and bathed in a touching poetry, visually stunning, this new film confirms all the good you must think of Yann Danh. Especially knowing in what condition it was turned. The old one like the other. With heart and guts. Without Embages. And on the screen, it's seen!
NOTE THAT THE POSTER IS SIGNED RÉMY GENTE, an artist from home, recently noticed thanks to his amazing generic for the special episode of season 2 of the strain series."

Amicalement, Franck."
Matthias Mazur Matthias Mazur Facebook
