When he came to RSA he wanted to learn a whole bunch of instruments and is currently working on the saxophone. When I first started playing the Sims I would play as god controlling every little action and decision of my Sims, but that got very repetitive and boring. i’ve been seeing so many stories about ppl sharing their manifestations and i want to share one of mine. i hope my success story encourages others.

so back in july (2022) my sister got braces and i was kinda jealous but i was also happy for her because we both have had the dream of getting braces because we were very insecure of our teeth. and when she got her braces something in me kinda snapped (in a good way) like i started to become so dedicated to get those braces that i’ve always wanted since i was in third grade. then a few days later my sister set an appointment for me to get an examination, i hadn’t been thinking about getting those braces until the day of the examination and when my sister took me she told me to convince my dad to get them for me and i agreed. my mom was a bit uneasy for me to get them but i was kind of angry (?) like i felt this passion to get them because i knew i deserved them and it was my time to get them. i started to persist after my appointment and after that day for a week. i first set an intention that i would get my braces on monday (my examination was on a wednesday). then i kept saying affirmations daily. i kept persisting no matter what. i would look in the mirror every time i brushed my teeth and tried my best to visualize braces on myself. i told my self things like “omg my teeth hurt but i’m so happy i got my braces” and “i can’t wait for my next appointment so i can change the color of my braces.” it all felt so unnatural to me but i didn’t care because i kept persisting and i knew that they were mine. even when i got negative thoughts i pushed them away and said positive affirmations like “no that’s not true i deserve my braces, i HAVE my braces and i’m so happy about that.” i even got emotional because i had been made fun of for my teeth horribly as a kid and i felt such a relief that i was going to get them because they would finally make me more confident. i cried and i think really putting in my feelings toward my manifestation helped a lot. i really felt that it was mine. i KNEW it was mine, even if in the beginning it felt unnatural. then my sister sent me a text on friday telling me that she set an appointment for me on tuesday to get my braces and i was so happy. i had a few minor setbacks while affirming for them but i persisted. for example, my mom didn’t want me to get them due to the cost, my dad wanted to pay a certain way but it could only be done through card, and i had my own doubts about whether i could truly get them. all of this happened yet i persisted. nothing else mattered but my persistence. although i had set the intention to get my braces on monday, i was still very happy that i got them on tuesday. i think setting the intention of when i was going to get them helped me too. the change in date didn’t matter to me because i knew i was going to get them even if it was a day later. of course i could have manifested getting it on monday but i was already so excited to get them on tuesday that i didn’t mind getting them a day later than i intended to. now i’ve had my braces for almost 8 months and my next ortho appointment is this thursday. to conclude, persistent really is key. it doesn’t matter if you think your manifestation is “big” or “small,” you are the creator of your reality and you can get anything you want. you don’t need the void or subliminals (no hate to the void or subliminals, they’re helpful tools and i’ve used subliminals before and they’ve helped me a lot to get my desires, and i’m also currently trying to tap into the void). anyway, all you really need is yourself and persistence. i thought braces was too big of a thing to manifest and i got them. there truly is nothing to big or too small for you to manifest and i am proof of that. anyway, i hoped this helped at least one person to finally realize that they have all the power.

Lego Icons Orchid Plant and Lego Flower Bouquet.

I love Lego and I love flowers so these are literally a dream come true. I've been obsessing over Lego flowers for the longest time and now that we have moved into our new home I thought it would be fun to build my own Lego flowers and decorate our new space. It doesn't take much time to build these and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The Flower Bouquet does not come with a vase which is something to keep in mind when displaying them. While I am not the biggest fan of the long leaves that are included in the Bouquet they can still be positioned in a way that complements the overall arrangement. I especially love the color of the flowers, they look stunning in person and the different colors make it very vibrant, they look so cute and my inner child is bursting with joy whenever I go up the stairs and catch a glimpse of them.

When I was 13 and asked my grandma about hair removal, she went to our cabinet, came back and handed me a pair of rubber gloves and told me to pull out the hair because that's how the girls in her village did it back in the day (I couldn't believe she was for real) and this epilator reminded me of that experience. It has been sitting in my closet for the longest time untouched after the initial day of buying and trying it. I was almost passing out from the excruciating pain and couldn't fathom how on earth anyone could endure using such a device. I have been going to my laser hair removal sessions since and have done around 20 sessions so my hair thickness has decreased significantly and the other day curiosity got the best of me and I tried it again and pain wasn't as unbearable anymore, in fact, I kind of began to enjoy the way my skin feels all prickly when epilating. The end result is undeniable though - my skin becomes super smooth and hairless for the next few weeks.

I am skinny but my weight tends to fluctuate a bit depending on my medication use as it affects my appetite and I want to protect my skin so I always make sure I dry brush and hydrate my skin as much as I can with a focus on my butt and upper legs. I apply this immediately after taking an ice cold shower in the morning. I really like the Cerave products I have tried thus far, their formulations are effective and suited for sensitive skin, filled with great ingredients like ceramides, HA, glycerin and their moisturizers have a light formula and don't leave my skin feeling greasy like my Bioderma one. I opt for this one during the summer months, Cerave is a very affordable brand, it doesn't break me out, there is no scent and I have never met anyone who has had complaints about their products.

2010-2019: My Little Pony: FIM

Was definitely my favorite show. I still love that show sm. Definitely has the most active fan base of them all. Making art for this show definitely inspired me to be the artist i am now. -- This show rased me, and raised me good. The older fandom is questionable, there's definitely some generational trama given to us Gen Z by them, but it was a very pro-lgbt space, and i loved this so sm.

2017-2021: DuckTales!! (Woo-hoo)

Always kinned Louie, and always will. I mean hell, i named my first MLP OC after Lena!! -- I really loved the episodes Quack Pack and GlomTales! (the latter if wich being because is was A. it Louie centered episode, and B. he proved to his mother that his scamming isn't all bad which i was proud of him for). I think i loved him sm just bc, well one, my favorite color has always been green, but two he's so relatable. Like the episode where he wasn't so sure and up to the idea of Della suddenly coming back and being his mom when he'd never even spoke to her once was just so good. Now i can look back and see how it was relatable, but even then when i didn't know what ik now i found him to be the most logical person in that situation.

2019-2023: The Owl House

When MLP ended, this was the show that came in and swooped me up. As of writing, the shows only been officially over for about an hour. And while yes, DuckTales was there when MLP ended, it still definitely made me feel like something was missing. It did take about a season for me to realize TOH was filling that feeling but it got there. This show has probably effected me about as much as MLP. Like through the episode “Lost in Language”, apon watching some reviews and theories on the episode, i found out Luz was bisexual. At the time i hadn't really heard the term b4, but only about a day of finding it out, i was already comfortable going by it! It just fit too well!! I also got my preferred name/s from Emira and Edric!! Sigh, i could write sm about TOH since it literally just ended, but i don't want to be here all day.

Favorite character then: Hunter, Now: The Collector. // Kinnie: Edric and Emira all the way, baby.

And now we're here. I already know this will be the thing i obsess over for the next 3-4 years, i can smell it. If things wrap up before 2026, i know the fandom will still be alive. Like idk maybe I'll laugh at my naivete in like two years rereading this post but come on!! Everything lines up way too well!! When MLP ended, TOH was there. Not TOH is ending and, oh, what's that?? WH!? I don't think its too unrealistic to think this story can take 3 test to make.. look say DHMIS, The Mandela Catalogue, and the Walten Files!!

Diana Ho Designs on Etsy is one of my fav pages to stare at and just feel yearning I want everything she makes!!! Her designs are so delicate and beautiful and sexy. I love everything in her store but the body chains in particular are sooooo gorgeous and I'm planning to reward myself with one of the body chains i want when I reach a savings goal next year :) I love that she uses high quality gold filled chains... her jewelry is water safe and won't turn my skin green ;) I really want to start supporting local artists and jewelers who are independent, and she happens to be from LA too. I can't wait to buy one of her pieces!!!!!!! Money spent locally on artists who live in your area is always better than at a huge company like Walmart or Target or whatever. Your $$$ stays in your local economy longer and supports your community when you spend with individual people and small businesses!

I'm learning about jewelry and color theory in regards to skin tone right now and I've come to the conclusion that silver, white gold, pearls and opals would suit me well. But I love gold and copper too much to stop trying to wear those colors, and I want to try experimenting with mixing metals when I wear jewelry. I want to build out a thoughtful and cohesive collection with pieces purchased from independent designers and give away most of my older things I never wear. I've been spending my free time in the wee hours of the morning after I get home from work browsing jewelers on Etsy. I love the look of hammered metals in particular, and I've been drawn to coins and oval coins that reflect light like drops of water 💧

I want piercings!! I was so poor throughout my 20s I never got any more piercings beyond my septum. It just wasn't a priority for me. And my earlobs closed up!! Lmao i cant even wear earrings. I'm planning to get my earlobes pierced again in January. This time I want 3 piercings along my lobes so i can stack different earrings and studs, along with a double helix :) I'm also considering getting a Daith piercing later in the year after my ears heal. I found a piercing shop in my city that makes jewelry in house and stocks unique pieces from independent designers and I'm very much looking forward to supporting them!

I also want to get thin rings to stack on my days off. Hand jewelry is tricky for me because I'm a baker, I can't wear jewelry during my work week and I rarely paint my nails. That being said, putting on rings feels very special to me because it never happens! Taking an hour out of my weekend to paint my nails and make my hands look pretty is something i wouldn't mind doing more often. It's more about setting aside time to be alone and make myself feel beautiful, making my self esteem a priority. I'm interested in collecting thin, understated rings that are gold or silver filled, again so they don't turn my skin green. There are so many gorgeous designs on Etsy, that's where I do most of my browsing now, and they're affordable.
