when i was sick my mom would just give me a plastic basin to puke in if i was in bed and couldnt get to the toilet in time. it was like a shitty plastic basin or whatever that could be washed out easily

Julian’s stuff needs a story. I always felt like his quarters seemed kinda spartan and impersonal. Other than Kukalaka and maybe the books, what even is this stuff? It’s like he said, “I need to look like a human adult, let me get things” and then raided a Space Home Goods.

I would go with wildcard. Sloan is like the Missy to Julian’s Doctor from Doctor Who, so that makes sense.

Ways to get around Sloan’s death in post-canon fics:

Sloan clones (either he’s always been one or he now has one)

Julian put him in stasis after, managed to repair his brain damage and revived him; Sloan then escaped/was let go

AU: Julian found and deactivated the termination device before Sloan could use it

AU: Sloan’s device was faulty and didn’t activate

AU: another agent was sent instead and met the same fate (Sloan almost went and is salty about it though)

Wildcard: everything in the episode happened exactly the same and no explanation for how/why Sloan isn’t still dead is given

re: on line vs in line in NYC, its so bizarre cus ive almost always used '[waiting] in line' but the more i think about it the more i realize people also use 'on line' down here equally too. help

YEAH i definitely hear both also but i think “on line” is more common, or at least more common from people i can tell are locals (NY accents). had no awareness this sounds weird to other people until i went to college in MA and was suddenly the Funny New York Guy who said Funny New York Things

ace hardware is like im going to get called a slur but the prices and the worms are way better there and no one fucks around wondering if the 5'2 asian lady need help finding whatever weirdly specific bullshit i need. home depot will have what i need in a millisecond but i can see the pain in the employee's eyes. also their garden soil is almost guaranteed to always have eggs in it.

Extremely blunt, to the point of being rude. Has the magical ability to both rend people asunder and also knit them back together, at the cost of her own flesh. She's almost always hunched, and can be found chainsmoking in almost any scenario.
