I moved Morgyn and Brigit (who I aged into a teenager) into a house of their own as their parents house doesn't have enough space, it's going well as you can see
I gave them a horse, you can probably guess the name
"Couldn't take the bike, so now it's on fire" -Morgyn, probably
Every time without fail the game likes to suggest ridiculous pairings, this time it's Judith Ward and Grace Anansi
Despite being insistent on wanting to get into Morgyn's pants (and his mom's...and his dad's christ ) he does autonomsly come over and take care of the horse. Outside of this AU you would never get him within several feet of a horse or any animal that isn't a cat.

I was going to ask about your thoughts on the previous articles now that the broken link thing was cleared up (Prev links: pewresearch. org/global/2011/11/17/the-american-western-european-values-gap/ ; theguardian. com/commentisfree/2021/may/28/centrism-insidious-bias-unjust-status-quo ; cbpp. org/research/health/republic ; sapiens. org/biology/is-race-real/ ; amnesty. org/en/latest/news/2018/10/its-intersex-awareness-day-here-are-5-myths-we-need-to-shatter/ ; fitchburgstate. libguides. com/c. php?g=1046516&p=7616506 ; subversions.tiss. edu/vol2-issue1/gayatri/ ; dailytargum. com/article/2020/10/rizvi-avatar-the-last-airbender-explores-important-sociopolitical-issues), but now that you've listed Dr. Shaym, Short Fat Otaku, and Shoe0nhead (who had a very brief redemption arc but has fallen back into grifterdom) as the individuals who help guide your politics, I can see that trying to have a serious discussion about this is probably not going to be fruitful. Not to say YouTubers can't provide insight (e.g. Lindsay Ellis, Anansi's Library, Boy Boy, F.D. Signifier, etc.), but consuming the works of academics and experts (e.g. Albert Einstein, George Orwell, Judith Butler, W. E. B. DuBois, Amitav Ghosh, Angela Davis, Noam Chomsky, Edward Said, bell hooks, Frantz Fanon, Audre Lorde, Emma Goldman, Kimberle Crenshaw, Cathy Cohen, etc.) is an important part of staying appropriately informed. Observing human behavior is something most people do; what influences the outcome/ conclusions of said observations is what matters and requires a consistent moral framework. What you consider "logical" is shaped by historical context and propagandic efforts (i.e. the notion of information without bias is essentially myth). Also, your exaggerated description of the left reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of their positions (i.e. what intersectionality means—ted. com/talks/kimberle_crenshaw_the_urgency_of_intersectionality?language=en). Finding right-wingers who care about universal healthcare is like finding a needle in a haystack. The left (which is not the dem party because they're mostly neolibs) consistently support policy that upholds equity in comparison to the right (which includes neolibs, Trump republicans, and extreme right-wingers like literal neonazis). You talk of being tired of left-wing vs. right-wing bullshit, but what you're describing as the left proves that you're actually still stuck in said culture war bullshit when the actual war is class war. You are misconstruing ATLA's focus on balance as a Buddhist principle with centrism despite its clear anti-authoritarian/fascist and other left-leaning themes. Hell, Michael DiMartino even shared a quote which compared the Fire Nation to America under Trump.
If Cathy Cohen is considered an expert, then I just don't know what to say. Also, right-wing and even Christian experts exist, so I can easily use what they say and treat them like true sources for everything, but I don't.
I didn't become an atheist because of some long evolution study.
I became an atheist because of the logic of there being a God isn't enough, it doesn't add up, it simply makes no sense, and by observing stuff, I became more and more atheist.
Yes, I do use studies. It's just not the only thing I use. Especially if the study is half-ass like those HAES/fat acceptance studies. And I rarely read long, excess things that don't get to the point quickly enough. I don't use studies that use many buzzwords and very emotional language.
Just because years later, Mike said some dumb shit, comparing Trump's America to a magical, fascism, ancient fiery Japan doesn't defy what the series taught back then.
The Fire Nation didn't turn into a government. It still had the Fire Lord and monarchy stuff at the end of the show, with Zuko becoming Firelord, his daughter becoming Firelord, and Prince Iroh II would also become a Firelord in time. So it's not full on anti-auth. It's anti-fascism.
Authoritarianism isn't inherently bad. Just like how Liberalism isn't inherently good. Rules need to be set in place.
Being a fascist is different from being auth in it of itself. Being fascist is the extremes.
The Airbenders died because they were too pacifistic.
Yes, it had many leftist themes, but it didn't treat the Airbenders and Toph's mindset as perfect. The whole point is balance, and the extremes are bad. The Fire Nation wasn't bad because it was more auth than other nations. It was because it was extremely auth, very fascist and nationalistic at the point they killed all the Air Nomads.
My point is that not all right wingers are the exact same. That's why the far right hates Trump and stuff. Trump was actually very openly pro-gay back in the day. It's why leftists are always infighting.
Also, you have your own bias. I know I have mine, I just don't let it fully control me, but you are acting like you're above it all.
Also, you asked for extremism from the left, not just simple left wing opinions, so what I did? Give you extremist ideas on the left.
I know I'm not above bias, but I try not to be overwhelmingly biased compared to the people in my homeland and here.
I'm not sure if this answered what you asked, but to me, it did.

A lot of these claims are incorrect, and many others I'm unable to substantiate
I can't find any reference to Neith weaving humanity, or Athena the universe
Ananke is specifically Orphic rather than Greek more generally, but the description seems accurate enough (although her being the mother of the Moirai is not present in all descriptions)
I can't find any evidence for Ixchel controlling the movements of the universe with a spindle
Areop-Enap is actually significantly involved in creation, albeit not in his capacity as a weaver (as a spider), but out of the shell of a clam . The spiderness/weaving is purely incidental
The description of Mokosh as mother of all seems to be reading too much into her identification as a motherhood goddess
I can't find any reliable source for Saule spinning the rays of the sun, as best I can find it originates from Judith Shaw, a 21st century artist who channels "the Goddess" and has no particular background in historical or comparative mythology, whilst actual sources depicts Saule as a much more typical solar deity carrying the sun in a boat
The characterisation of Anansi holding humanity together seems bizarre given his usual role as a trickster god
Mabube is not a god as far as I can tell, but rather a set of clams famed for their weaving
The description of Nareau is broadly accurate, but as with Areop-Enap weaving doesn't actually feature in the creation, but instead forms primordial beings from the sand and water one of which gets dismembered and turned into the world
Whilst the underlying point that hand weaving has been a key part of human society throughout most of its history, the majority of specific claims here seem bogus
This section of the article is shockingly bad, and should not have made it past an editor

With High School Years out, sounds like a good time to reintroduce the families originally remade for an aged-down save! The save itself never quite eventuated, but the households would be great for sending off to high school!
Households include:
Lilith and Caleb Vatore, and their parents
Jonathan ‘Johnny Zest’ Langraab, and his parents and brother Malcolm
Nina and Dina Caliente, and their father
Eva Capricciosa, and her father
Marcus Flex, and his parents and dog
Paolo Rocca, and his parents, grandmother, and three sisters
Miko Ojo, and her father and two cats
Akira Kibo, and his parents, brother, and two sisters
Leslie Holland, and her parents and two sisters
Alice Martin, and her mother
Mark Eggleston, and his parents and sister
Lia Hauata, and her adoptive grandmother
Grace Anansi, and her parents and sisters
Tomax Colette, and his mother and brother
(Made for the same save, but with no teenage premades: child Darling Walsh and their family, and young adult Judith Ward.)
Enjoy!

It's SHOWTIME!
Ted: We're The Roswells from StrangerVille. How're you doing? Octavia: Good! How are you feeling? Meredith: Nervous. *the crowd laughs* Judith: What are you going to sing for us tonight? Ted: We're going to do Johnny Cash. Meredith: 'I Walk The Line'. Octavia: Okay, good luck! The Roswells perform competently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgFxZwUIvoM Judith: It's a classic, and you sang it well, but it's a lazy choice. We expect more of you. I'm disappointed in you both that you didn't take the opportunity to stretch yourselves. *The crowd falls silent* Judith: But with all that said ... You're through to the next round! Izzy: Yes from me! Octavia: And me! *The crowd cheers*
*Dark Water stride confidently onto the stage* Izzy: How are you feeling today? Lucas: Really looking forward to performing. Izzy: You're going to play Disturbed? Lucas: We had been rehearsing Disturbed, but yesterday we switched to 'Angel of Harlem' by U2. Judith: You approved this? Octavia: It was my idea. I think it's a great song and they'll do it well. Izzy: So, if we don't like it, we'll blame you. Octavia: Sure! I'll stand by that song. *Gestures to band* Why don't you show them how it's done? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lGMurpwrMI Izzy: Hmmm. See, it wasn't as good as last time. It's like the band's not feeling the song. Judith: You can tell when they're not passionate about the music, and I am not feeling passion here. Octavia: I don't know what you're talking about. I think they were great! Izzy: Oh no, sweetie. They were not great at all. Not terrible, though - darlings, you can sing, you can play, but it has to be something you care about. This was just flat. Honestly? I was bored. Judith: The BAND looked bored! But you are consummate professionals and you stood on a stage in front of all these people, you learnt the song in under a day, and it's not your fault that it just wasn't good enough. Octavia: We'll have to disagree on that one. You did great, honeys. Judith: It's a 'no' from me. Izzy: I'm going to blame you for this, Octavia, but no.
Izzy: Some Precinct! How are you feeling today? Kim: Good! We're good. But we've moved things around a little. Izzy: Oh? Kim: Maia's going to sing lead vocals today. *The crowd cheers* Izzy: Maia, darling! Maia, step forward, sweetie, let's have a look at you. You're normally hiding at the back. Maia: I get a little nervous. Izzy: You don't need to worry, honey. What are you going to sing for us today? Maia: We're going to perform 'Weak' by Skunk Anansie. Izzy: You ready? You look ready. Okay, honey, take it away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJ75XSSCohw *Maia is initially nervous to be right out in front, but soon relaxes when she sees the delight on the faces of the mentors. She has absolutely no idea if she'll be able to hit the high notes at the end, but she gives it her best and ... nails it! The enthralled crowd cheers wildly at the end.* Izzy: That was amaaaazing! But when you harmonize, that's when the rubber hits the road. Judith: You need to work a little on your diction, but the range and timbre is fine. You just need to ENUNCIATE! Octavia: Your singing was beautiful, hon. You're through to the next round. *The crowd roars their approval*
Izzy: Tyler! How are you doing today? Tyler *miserably*: I'm good. Octavia: No need to be nervous, honey. What are you going to sing for us? Tyler: Robbie Williams. Izzy: Take it away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwU8do4shok *Izzy winces as he drifts off-key, and while Tyler tries his best, he can tell he's losing the judges* Octavia: Tyler ... how old are you? Tyler: I'm eighteen. Octavia: Such a precious little thing! Your face is so sweet! Izzy: There's something different about you. You have presence and I'm sure the girls all love you. *The girls in the audience squeal* Judith: The trouble is that you can't hold a tune. Tyler: I'm sorry. It sounded fine in rehearsal. I'm just a bit distracted today- Octavia: What happened, honey? Tyler: I broke up with my girlfriend. *The crowd cries "Awwww" in sympathy* Izzy: Really sorry to hear it. Your audition last time went so well! But this time, sorry, it's a 'no'. Judith: It's a 'no' from me. Octavia: I have to say 'no' this time, but you could try again next year? *Tyler nods miserably, on the verge of tears*

Authenticity
(Buendgens-Kosten, Judith 2014, Authenticity, ELTjournal)
“Authenticity is a characteristic of the relationship between the passage and the reader and it has to do with the appropriate response.”(Buendgens-Kosten, Judith 2014). In creative practises, the artist give themselves solely to their audience with no boundary (Johnson, Luke 2018, Week 2). The book “Authenticity” by David Posen discusses “listening to your body, understanding your mind, and making better choices in your life (House of Anansi Press, 2018). This is essential as a creative practitioner; ensuring your work is unique and you are kind and true to yourself. I believe its important to be authentic as a creative practitioner, safeguarding your role in the industry and being a truthful contender.

Artists’ Books at the National Museum of African Art On Art Versed (April 2017)
I recently got back from a short, museum-packed trip to Washington, D.C. for spring break. Do you remember the museum scene from Passport to Paris? It was a little like that, except unlike Mary-Kate and Ashley, I had a blast. Among the multiple Smithsonian institutions I visited, one of my favorites was the National Museum of African Art (not to be confused with the National Museum of African American History and Culture opening this September). The seemingly small but uniquely designed museum first opened its doors in 1964. At the time it was known as the Museum of African Art, located on Capitol Hill in a townhouse that had been the home of Frederick Douglass. In August 1979, the museum became part of the Smithsonian Institution. It is now located on the National Mall (which, by the way, is full of cherry blossoms this time of year, in case you’re planning your own “wanna get away” trip).

Among other exhibits, now on view is Artists’ Books and Africa. The twenty-five books included in the exhibition are either by African artists or feature traditional African themes, and all come from the permanent collections of the museum and the Smithsonian libraries. Through the books, the exhibition explores African history and cultures by embodying collective memory and reclaiming cultural heritage and storytelling. The show features fine art books as well as those employing multiple formats, materials and techniques by predominantly contemporary artists.

The books range in theme from personal narratives to reflections on the human condition. The sprawled out pages of Atta Kwami’s (b. 1956 in Ghana) Grace Kwami Sculpture (1993) resemble the form of a spider, drawing upon the African folklore of Anansi, the mischievous but knowledgeable spider known for his cleverness and skill, to tell the story of the artist’s mother, Grace Kwami (1923–2006), who was also an artist. Each of the book’s “legs” show pictures illustrating Grace’s life, creating a metaphor between the skillfulness of the spider and the creativity of the artist’s mother (my mind immediately went to Maman by Louise Bourgeois).

Another artist, Judith Mason (b. 1938 in South Africa) and poet Wilma Stockenström (b. 1933 in South Africa) use the book to visualize pain, or more specifically, a woman’s pain. In their book, Skoelapperheuwel, Skoelappervrou (Butterfly Hill, Butterfly Woman), Mason uses lithographs of pencil illustrations and collages of torn paper as the background for Stockenström’s enigmatic yet thought provoking words. Written in free verse Afrikaans, Stockenström contemplates the role of women in society, as well as other existentialist themes such as death and the afterlife. The ripped pages signify a kind of trauma presumably felt by all women, whether from childbirth, intercourse, or menstruation. The poetry is not fully translated into English, but even without textual reference, the message of the powerful and often visceral images is clear.

The versatility of artist books shows how their form and structure often supercede their content. Inspired by the “power to the people” mindset of the 1960s, inexpensive artists’ books referred to as “democratic multiples” are made to be distributed to as many people as possible, and typically convey social or political messages. South African artist Luan Nel’s (b. 1971) piece Paper: An Installation by Luan Nel at the Mark Coetzee Fine Art Cabinet takes the form of a tiny deck of cards. Looking at the cards feels like taking a Rorschach test as the small, ambiguous figures gradually create stories and sequences the longer you engage with them. The images are playful, but also veil the experiences of the artist’s life, addressing his homosexuality, Afrikaans heritage, his upbringing in the strict Dutch Reformed Church, and being drafted by the South African army during the era of apartheid.

The books are beautiful, surprising, darkly humorous, and at times bizarre. At first glance they seem to be purely aesthetically driven, but each page reveals something about the artist who created it. Artists’ Books and Africa will be on view until September 11, 2016 at the National Museum of African Art in Washington, D.C.
