And yes the last image is how I perceive Nick's uh "orientation". Imma say something people might not agree with (and that's okay because we should be allowed to have different opinions). I don't think his bisexuality is a 50/50 split. I perceive him as more attracted to women (and yes I do think he would perceive Fran as cute don't kill me), so when he is attracted to some guys it catches him off guard and he doesn't really know how to deal with it. I like the idea of him not being fully aware he likes both, it seems more interesting to me. Yes I do think he likes Ron Delite.

Ok but like. Why did Franziska just so happen to have a copy of Juan Corrida's autograph conveniently addressed to a recipient named "Wendy" and why did she choose to throw it at Phoenix instead of just whipping him like she normally does

And is this "Wendy" actually Oldbag or not. Is the autograph even real. Was Franziska intentionally helping Phoenix in a roundabout way or was she just lashing out in a way that ended up helping him unbeknownst to her. None of this is ever explained and it simultaneously baffles and amuses me SO much

I've finished Farewell, My Turnabout and I've realized something:

This case is actually mirroring Turnabout Samurai, in many aspects. Think about it:

There is an actor playing Samurai in a show (Will Powers/Matt Engarde) that gets arrested for murder of his "rival" (Jack Hammer/Juan Corrida).

It turns out at some point that someone specifically wore their costume for the sole purpose of framing them for murder (Jack Hammer/Adrian Andrews).

Someone died in the past (Manuel/Celeste Inpax), someone important to the woman working with the accused (Dee Vasquez/Adrian Andrews).

The actual killer is part of criminal underground (Dee Vasquez has connections with mafia/Shelly De Killer is a renown assassin).

Some characters from Turnabout Samurai also make come back in Farewell, My Turnabout, specifically: Will Powers and Wendy Oldbag. Oldbag herself, once again, was enamoured in the victim and is a witness for the prosecution.

But, of course, this is a cracked mirror. Matt Engarde is not as innocent and noble as Will Powers, Adrian Andrews is not a strong, powerful woman who can easily lie on the witness stand like Dee Vasquez; Juan Corrida was far more of an asshole victim than Jack Hammer ever was.

There is also additional elements that make this case far more darker, like Shelly de Killer kidnapping Maya, and Phoenix falling into despair.

More holiday requests! Some Ace Attorney ones this year which are fun, I haven't drawn PW stuff in ages, haha. Some of these are from an Ace Attorney/Frozen crossover that i finished writing years ago and still haven't POSTED IT'S DONE WHY AM I LIKE THIS i just need to sit down and finish editing it one of these days

The last one is from a very disturbing Matt/Juan (well, more like the doomed love square of 2-4 with Adrian/Matt/Juan/Celeste) psychological horrorshow I wrote a long time ago during a pretty dark time in my life, as you can probably guess from the shot, haha. Definitely not for children or the faint of heart.

Ace attorney rightfully receives criticism for it's misogyny and treatment of female characters, but ill give it one (1) thing: 2-4's portrayal of how matt and juan only see celeste as an object to be used and thrown out, and how even when she dies she cannot escape being fodder for their stupid fucking rivalry is very, very cutting and well written.
