Okay but like. I just want you to consider for a second how horrifying learning of Bill’s true terror must have been to Stanford. He dedicated his life to Cipher, and it’s reflected in everything he surrounded himself by. Every slight detail of the shack is made in his image, even down to windows made with a triangular shape and a eye shape at the top. Every-time he so much as simply just wandered around his own home he was reminded of the horrible mistakes and the possible repercussions of what he had done; About the horrid demon he had spent so much of his life obsessing over and following the every whim of.

Spending the entire day deciding journal three because this is my first time reading it and I wanted to do it myself XD

If anyone knows anything PLEASE tell me, I’ve spent so long decoding it and getting almost nowhere, I have so many theories but I’d love some help.

I finished reading Journal 3 the other night and I’ve been thinking about the ‘perfect world’ that Ford visited. He claims he succeed in that dimension because Stanley listened to him and took the first book away, but I don’t think that���s it. I think that’s what he assumed after talking to Fiddleford, who probably said something like “we worked together” or whatever when asked how the building came to be, and Ford jumped to conclusions, because while writing the entry, he still hasn’t realized that it was his lack of trust in everyone that lead him to destruction. I think what really happened in the better dimension is that Ford told Fiddleford about Bill way sooner or the Fords were in a stronger relationship (my hc is Fiddleford didn’t get married and is dating Ford from the get go) and Fiddleford helps Ford realize what Bill has been doing to him before it became too late to turn back. I mean, when the portal was tested, the ring had turned black and I don’t think that just hiding the journals would have ever been enough to just completely stop Bill, the creature that helped create the blueprints and probably memorized them while in Ford’s head. Ford was the easiest to manipulate and the one he least wanted to get rid of, but he could’ve waited a little longer to find someone a little easier to control.
