Cyclops is PURPOSELY dressed in his 1990s look because his desire to save BOTH mutants and humans is how he thought and who he was in the 1990s. He's NOT the revolutionary Cyclops who was with Emma Frost. Jean is PURPOSELY dressed in her 2020s look because she no longer feels the same. Plus she needs to deal with the revelation about her forever connection with the Phoenix from A.X.E. At this point, they need to be apart because they are currently on different trajectories. I'd like to believe Gerry Duggan's reply tweet will come true: Cyclops and Jean are separated for now, but they will come back together.

Reactions As I Read: ● Tagak's mask is legit creepy ● Silver Age comics are so melodramatic. I love it. The characters wax poetic… aloud… when no one is listening ● for example, here's Matt somersaulting off a roof, having a full-on conversation with himself ● aaand here he is somersaulting to one of the biggest leaps of logic: "moves like a cat? well it's gotta be Tagak!" ● big kitty ● I read "Man without Fear" #3 today, and Matt had blood streaming down his right arm in that story, too. I believe this is the first time we've seen fairly active bleeding from DD in these Silver Age comics. ● now his left hand is probably bleeding, too… ● oh ffs, DD is annoyed at a guy for assuming Tagak is the culprit, yet DD made the exact same assumption just a couple of pages ago ● ok, he's calling himself out on his assumption ● his radar sense is acting a lot like Spidey-sense; and there've been times Peter's Spidey-sense acts like Matt's radar sense--including letting him get around without being able to see in some situations. here, Matt's radar sense is acting more like uncanny intuition ● ok, something is actively drawing his radar sense ● oo, this green panel on pg 15 is cool ● Tagak is blind, too, eh? ● wait… is Tagak wearing a mask? ● Quothar had entered the chat ● no, kitty!

Synopsis: After a series of strange sightings of a Leopard skin-dressed man and a leopard running loose in New York City, Daredevil investigates and ends up befriending the being, known as Tagak, who came to our dimension through a magical mirror and is in pursuit of a criminal from his home world. DD helps Tagak capture the thief and return him to Tagak's reality to face punishment for his crimes, although Tagak's leopard (who facilitated his ability to see) was killed during the episode by police bullets.

Succession The Musical Hypothetical Casting

I’m doing this in one shot and off the top of my head, so I will be missing characters, I do also welcome suggestions.

Logan Roy: Patrick Page

Is this the obvious first choice? Yes. Is it the correct one? Also yes.

Kendall Roy: Lucas Steele

Kendall is just Anatole if he didn’t have a close relationship with his sister.

Roman Roy: Brandon Uranowitz

He played a nice neurotic freak in Falsettos, let's see him play an evil neurotic freak.

Shiv Roy: Eden Espinoza

I'll be honest, if I was genuinely casting a Succession musical as a real casting director, I would look for a more unknown performer to play Shiv, because I firmly believe that Shiv Roy should be an alto part, heavy in the lower range (like basically a tenor). Shiv's plot revolves around trying to push past her gender to be taken seriously, and I think having her being an alto who stays in her lower register would really highlight how hard she's trying to be taken seriously. That said, I would not at all be disappointed to have Eden Espinoza in the part. She's insanely talented, and I would love to see her interpretation of Shiv.

Connor Roy: Josh Groban

So there's a clip of The Opera from "Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812" where the ensemble sings "Pierre, the cuckold, sits at home", and then Pierre pops up saying "No, I am enjoying myself at home this evening" while giving a sad little thumbs up, while his wife is off banging another man? That's the energy I want for my Connor Roy.

Tom Wambsgans: Brian D'Arcy James
