Halfas are like selkies. Or more like they’re similar to many animal spouses of myths and legends, trapped in (mostly) human forms should they lose their cloak. 

That at least, Vlad warned Danny about within the first time of realizing what the other was. It’s a line neither will cross- not even the timeline where Dan came into being. An unspoken acknowledgement of not crossing such a boundary no matter what happened. 

Even after his parents’ deaths. After Jazz’s near-death and coma. 

It’s not exactly something Danny thinks of, really, especially not that he’s now survived highschool and practically moved across the country. Not to mention the fact he has Ellie and Jordan to care for. But it definitely comes to mind the moment Dan- only five at the moment- screams for him. And he’s not going to let anything happen to his kids

every single person that's disappointed about the james gunn dcu hal jordan being older is weak. I say this from the absolute bottom of my chest you are all WEAK.

I don't want a show about him going from test pilot to over confident, kinda arrogant new hero. I think the direction of him being a mentor is *perfect* because he is at his core still a little bit insufferable, but he's already made a lot of his mistakes that have driven his character (not the big yellow one I'm assuming because why would they Not save parallax as a plot point).

Also the fact we're getting not just him but also guy and john makes me incredibly happy even though hal is my favorite green lantern. This also hopefully gives room to kyle down the line especially if they cover the parallax story line… and then jessica etc hopefully.

But also, and most importantly, I am incredibly biased towards hal at an age that's above 35. Peak hal jordan is him being a somewhat pathetic, still annoying middle aged man and I will NOT argue on this.
