A 12 Story, 5 Star Hotel with a Rooftop Lounge and a Premium Steakhouse is coming to the Bridges at Jodeco in the newest site layout confirmed by the Bridges at Jodeco team! The new editions also include a WhataBurger restaurant. It will be located along the Jodeco Rd frontage next to Starbucks which is currently under construction! Bahama Breeze lands a premium location directly in front of the new Costco that is under construction with a November 16th Grand Opening date already announced. First Watch the popular breakfast & brunch location is located in front of the Costco Fuel Center with Jodeco Rd frontage as well. Salad to Go lands next to the new Whataburger location, then Bank OZK rounds out to west side frontage along Jodeco Rd. The west portion also includes the new state of the art 2 level Chick Fila that will be the first one of its kind in America.

We previous announced Sprouts Farmers Market! Wouk’s join the mixed and they will be located on the interior of the development in a multi tenant

building. LaHacienda is picture across the street from the Argento at the Bridges resort style luxury apartments opening the first week in October of all goes well or shortly thereafter. A new Peach Cobbler Factory will open in the space below the commercial space below the residential unit at Argento at the Bridges.

Finally new Chipotle location is coming along the main road connecting Jodeco Rd to Argento Drive and then on to Mt. Olive Rd. connecting to Jonesboro Rd. The new $50 million road project will actually stretch from Hudson Bridge Rd to Jonesboro Rd providing an alternative to I-75 for local residents!

The citywide trail network for Stockbridge is underway!

The City of Stockbridge Master Trail plan launches with multiple sidewalks/Trail to connect the city for cyclists and pedestrians! The plan is to develop our very own Atlanta Beltline like trail system connecting our residents to: Downtown Stockbridge, our city parks, and points of interest throughout the city, county, and will even eventually connect to the Atlanta Beltline. We will collaborate with Henry County, Clayton County, and the surrounding cities in the

area. Downtown Stockbridge now has about 2.5 miles in trails in place with nearly 5 miles planned in the short term. The initial trail projects include Davidson Pkwy, Peach Drive, Old Atlanta Rd, and Tye Street.

We would like to connect to the Atlanta Beltline and fact is 80% of the trails in Dekalb, Rockdale, and Fulton County are already in place to make it happen with the Arabia Mountain Trail or AMP now extending into Henry County from west Rockdale County (Panola Mountain) on to Dekalb County. The Michelle Obama leg of the trail runs from Georgia State South Panthersville to Constitution Rd Atlanta running under I-285 near Bouldercrest Rd. Only one section is missing from Waldrop Rd to MLK Jr High and this section should be in place in the next 5 years. At that point you will be able to ride from unincorporated Stockbridge to Atlanta on the AMP Trail.

When Rock Quarry Rd is widened later this year or early 2024 it will have a 10 foot trail from Eagles Landing Pkwy to North Henry Blvd serving as the spine of the Stockbridge trail. Also trails are included in the Bridges at Jodeco project from Jodeco Rd to Mt. Olive Rd and on to Jonesboro Rd.

On the west side of the city we will connect to the Lake Spivey Trails with a $3 million T-Splost trail project on Walt Stephens Rd. In total $22 million is included in the Stockbridge T-Splost to complete a large portion of the citywide trail network. I thank the Stockbridge Mayor & Council for their commitment to the Stockbridge Master Trail Plan I spearheaded in 2017! Mayor Pro Tem Yolanda Barber is also responsible for the added fuel to fire moving the project along!
