Taylor, an African American woman, was killed when three white policemen broke down her door in a botched raid of her apartment and shot her numerous times. Taylor was unarmed. The group played body…

Breonna Taylor (June 5, 1993 - March 13, 2020) a 26-year-old African-American woman, was fatally shot in her Louisville apartment on March 13, 2020, when white plainclothes officers Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove of the Louisville Metro Police Department forced entry into the apartment as part of an investigation into drug dealing operations. Her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, was inside the apartment with her when the officers knocked on the door and then forced entry. Officers said that they announced themselves as police before forcing entry, but Walker said he did not hear any announcement, thought the officers were intruders, and fired a warning shot at them. According to officials, it hit Mattingly in the leg, and the officers fired 32 shots in return. Walker was unhurt but she was hit by six bullets and died. According to police, her home was never searched. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence #blm

Does Jesse James Haunt the Talbott Tavern?
Here's a real slice of Americana, and a severely spook-ridden one to boot. The Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, built in 1779, is the oldest stagecoach-stop tavern and hotel in the United States. This building was well known as a must-visit place for anyone who happened to be passing through the area. Because of its central location at the junction of major stagecoach dirt roads, it was visited by practically everyone who traveled cross-country or to the frontier.
The main tavern area is preserved, looking as it did then, with only a few modifications and modernizations. Everyone from presidents to kings to outlaws made camp here: Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, Henry Clay, William Henry Harrison, King Louis-Phillippe of France, Jesse James, Daniel Boone, and many more.
Although Jesse James's ghost is claimed by some to walk these halls, we see no reason to believe that he should haunt a tavern just because he used to drink here. Ghostly activity predates his death, and in fact, James himself may have been a paranormal experience at the tavern. One night he claimed that he saw the murals painted on the walls of an upstairs room coming to life, and in his panic he shot the walls full of holes. Then again, he may just have been hallucinating on a bad batch of bourbon.
Ghosts of children have been prevalent here over the years, as well as ghosts of mysterious old men in antiquated clothing and of a woman said to be a suicide victim. She hung herself with a rope suspended from the main tavern's chandelier. Although that chandelier, which once held candles, has been retrofitted with electricity, it is still in use today.
The eerie upstairs hallways have been so many ghost sightings that the staff have become accustomed to them. Manager Jonathan Mattingly noted one guest who complained about the children laughing and running in and out of the room next door. "I had to break it to him that there were other guests in the hotel that night," says Mattingly, "and certainly no children in the building." A small display in the upstairs foyer alerts guests to the potential for such hauntings, so caveat emptor: Don't ring the front deck if you hear the pitter-patter of little (dead) feet.
Aside from the woman who took her own life, who's responsible for all these spirits shuffling around the tavern? Although it's almost a certainly that people died of illnesses and were murdered on the premises in the violent and chaotic frontier days of the eighteenth century, the most likely answer lies within two nearby buildings.
The McLean House
This handsome old circa-1812 brick building was once a post office and also a hospital that no doubt saw a lot of suffering, pain, and death, especially during the Civil War. Today it's a bed-and-breakfast.
The Jail's Inn
The city jail was conveniently located right next door to the tavern, and nowadays you can sleep here too. The structures of the jail cells have been left in their rustic and grim state, but fixed up somewhat and made into a very unusual inn. Original jailhouse graffiti still exists in some spots (including an elaborately painted winning poker hand). There's definitely a frightening and oppressive air to the building. You can't forget that you're in a jailhouse where so many troubled souls lived and died over the span of two centuries. The Jailer's Inn is owned and operated by a local attorney who's happy to give tours to the curious. Like the Talbott Tavern, the inn is increasingly popular for "ghost tourism."
A fire broke out upstairs of the Talbott Tavern in 1998, and destroyed the old wall murals that Jesse James shot with lead. Though the paintings may be ruined, the bullet holes are still there in the wall f or all to see. It has been speculated that the fire could have been supernatural as well. Renovations are still ongoing, but whoever is working there will usually be glad to take you up to what is now called the Jesse James Room for a peek at the outlaw's handiwork.

Kentucky Sheriff's Office Hires Former Officer Who Fatally Shot Breonna Taylor
The former Louisville police officer who fatally shot Breonna Taylor has a new job in law enforcement in a county northeast of the city.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday confirmed the hiring of Myles Cosgrove, who was fired from the Louisville Metro Police Department in January 2021 for violating use-of-force procedures and failing to use a body camera during the raid on Taylor’s apartment.
About a dozen people showed up in downtown Carrolton Monday morning to protest his hiring, holding signs and chanting “Cosgrove has got to go.”
Investigators said that Cosgrove fired 16 rounds into the apartment after Taylor’s front door was breached during a narcotics raid on March 13, 2020.
An FBI investigation determined that Cosgrove and Mattingly struck Taylor, a 26-year-old Black woman, and that Cosgrove likely fired the fatal shot. Neither officer was charged by a 2020 state grand jury in Taylor’s death, and a two-year investigation by the FBI also cleared Cosgrove and Jonathan Mattingly of any charges.
Robert Miller, chief deputy in Carroll County, pointed out that Cosgrove was cleared by the state grand jury when speaking of his hiring at the small Kentucky sheriff’s department.
In November, the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council voted not to revoke Cosgrove’s state peace officer certification. That meant he could apply for other law enforcement jobs in the state.
But he still awaits trial on federal civil rights charges for his actions during the raid, as two other officers who were involved in obtaining the warrant. A third officer pleaded guilty to conspiracy in the crafting of the warrant. -(source: nbc news)

Outrage!!!
It was late at night on March 13th 2020 when three police officers claim they knocked on Breonna Taylor’s door in Louisville, Kentucky.  Breonna, tired from a long day at work as an emergency room technician at the University of Louisville Health department, and her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, were asleep and did not hear the knock.  What they did hear was three Louisville police officers using a…

A Kentucky State Police ballistics report does not support state Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s assertion that Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, shot a police officer the night she was killed. Cameron said Wednesday the investigation of Taylor’s death March 13 ruled out “friendly fire” from officer Brett Hankison as the source of the shot that went through Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly’s thigh, prompting him and officer Myles Cosgrove to return fire, killing Taylor.
Ballistics report doesn't support Kentucky AG's claim that Breonna Taylor's boyfriend shot cop
“...The KSP report says that “due to limited markings of comparative value,” the 9mm bullet that hit and exited Mattingly was neither “identified nor eliminated as having been fired” from Walker’s gun.
Cameron said Hankison had been eliminated as the shooter because the three officers  carried .40-caliber handguns, while Walker had a 9.
Wednesday night on CNN, Steven Romines, one of Walker’s attorneys, said he obtained a Louisville Metro Police Department record showing Hankison had been issued a 9mm weapon as well...”

In today’s dystopian nighmare bullshit, one of the cops (Jonathan Mattingly) who killed Breonna Taylor is suing her boyfriend (Kenneth Walker) for “severe trauma, mental anguish, and emotional distress”. Yeah. Wow.
