woke up to a 648 word long anonymous ask in my inbox describing, in detail, every single horrible thing johnny depp did and said to/about his victim - along with other nasty shit he's done to other ppl - to explain why he's an abusive shitstain, telling me to "watch every single second of every single court proceeding" (while also acknowledging that... she didn't want any of it recorded....) with all of it written as if i... don't literally hold the exact same opinion of him?? i've never once spoken positively about him and have repeatedly voiced my support of amber. absolutely batshit lmao

to give my two cents re: amber heard, i personally think you should follow whatever fc "rules" you personally stick to and fuck everyone else. with amber and johnny specifically, i do think they've both done things -- in the space of their relationship with each other, as well as johnny's career and amber's other relationships -- that make me not want to use them or support them at all. but if you want to use her or make resources for her, do it!

I’m struggling with the idea of using her again as a fc or make gifs of her, since it was a sensitive issue for a long time in media, in people’s life and so on. It’s a refreshing thought to just do what I wanna do and not care what everyone else does! But I don’t know… perhaps I still care too much what other people think and also don’t want to offend anybody, too. As I said it’s a struggle. Wouldn’t be mad at using her again, but also not mad on leaving her out of my rp world lol

I can't even articulate how truly despicable it is that Depp's lawyer openly admitted to having someone on Depp's legal team deliberately spray his cologne on and around Heard to trigger her PTSD flashbacks, and clearly in order to make her look "crazy" and make Depp look better in comparison. All to further punish Heard and ruin her life for the crime of (checks notes) being an abuse survivor who was abuse by a famous and widely beloved actor.

In Paris, France, a person (or people?) have written "wife beater" on a poster of Johnny Depp that is framed on the outside of a bus shelter. It is for Dior's fragrance "Sauvage." For folks who I am sure are aware, there is massive documentation and personal testimony from Amber Heard about Depp's abuse and violence against her. As the person wrote in response to this, I also love to see abusers being called out for the trash they are.

someone said it on twitter but i can’t find it - but it’s astonishing how people found it more believable that a woman in her 20s concocted a scheme over multiple years to frame her millionaire, worldwide-famous actor husband of domestic abuse, as opposed to the possibility that this famous actor (who is almost 20 years her senior and has publicly-known problems with alcohol and drugs since the 90s) was so angry that his moment in hollywood had passed, he wasn’t as popular as he used to be, but that his wife was doing better at the box-office than he was, she wanted to leave him and he just couldn’t stand the idea of her being happy or financially stable without him. misogyny is a fabulous thing isn’t it.

You know, I never understood the logic of people who genuinely understood and believed that Johnny Depp is well-known to be abusive on set and in public to damn near everyone he meets, but also thought he didn’t abuse Amber Heard. You can understand that he’s abusive, just not to his wife? Even though most abusers exhibit this pattern of behavior in their personal lives long before the rest of the world sees it?

What is it that makes you stop believing at Amber Heard? And what makes you willing to excuse all of his past cases of abuse? Cause all you’re doing is saying “it’s okay that he abused and assaulted all these people because Amber Heard is lying.”

I’ve used the logic before to get people to understand that he abused Amber- that he’s got history of being abusive, so what are the odds it stopped at her?- but some of y’all just stopped halfway. You got to 2+ but didn’t wanna finish the equation cause you knew how it ended.
