HCE holt Athletiktrainer Mirko Eckert

Kaum lernte Cheftrainer Johannes Sellin vom HC Erlangen den Athletiktrainer Mirko Eckert vor gut einem Jahr kennen, war er schon begeistert von dem jungen und akribischen Fitnessexperten. „Er wird meine Spieler fitter und besser machen,“ dachte sich Sellin damals. Zumal die Saisonanalyse ergeben hat, dass das Erlanger Team nicht selten in der zweiten Halbzeit in Führung liegend eingebrochen war. Sellin sagt weiter: „Außerdem muss die Verantwortung im Bereich Athletiktraining mit einer Person besetzt werden, die sich ausschließlich um die Athletik der Spieler kümmern kann!“

Meie lõbusad ja tegusad seiklused Hollandis hakkavad tasa aga targu lõpule lähenema. Ei tõmba veel joont alla, kotte veel ei paki, aga kojutulek annab kuklas juba tunda küll.

Kuna blogisse oleme siiani kirjutanud ainult oma reisimisest, mitte töötegemisest ei hakka enam traditsiooni murdma, aga lubame et viimases blogipostituses kanname ette, millega Giesbersis hakkama oleme saanud.

Amsterdamis käidud, Rotterdamis käidud, mis jääb veel kandikule? Eks ikka Hollandi suuruselt kolmas linn. Haag.

Haagi kohta olime üht teist ka enne kuulnud. Töökaaslane rääkis, et seal on ilus rand (millest antud aastaperioodil eriti kasu ei ole). Teadsime ka maurithsuise muuseumist ja fakti, et Hollandi valitsus Haagis resideerub. Linnast endast ei osanud me midagi oodata.

Kui juba tead, et Amsterdam on tuntud oma vanalinna poolest ja Rotterdam pilvelõhkujate ja modernse disaini poolest, siis Haag istubki täpselt nende vahel. Leidub mõlemat. Otsustasime alustada vanast ja peale kahetunnist rongisõitu seadsime sammud mauritshuise poole.

Mis seal mauritshuises siis näha saab? Ainult kõige olulisemat valikut madalmaade parimatest maalikunstnikutest. Näideteks võib tuua Hollandi must see Rembrandti Dr. Nicolaes Anatoomialoengu ja Johannes Vermeeri Tüdruk Pärlkõrvarõngaga. Internetis meemistaatusesse tõusnud vaatamisväärsused.

Mis imesid küll meie silmad siin Hollandis tunnistavad. Ainult Van Goghi museum on veel puudu, et vastomandatud intelligents ei lubaks Eestisse tagasi pöörduda. Muuseumist tulin tulema külmkapimagneti ja objektiivilapiga, mille mõlema peal pärlkõrvarõngaga tüdruk ilutseb. Võimas!

Et kõrgkunstist tuulduda läksime pubisse ja tegime ühe korraliku lõuna. Haagi Heineken mekkis täpselt sama kui Rotterdamis. Järgmiseks sihtpunktiks oli Taneli valikul illusioonimuuseum. Täpsemalt siis Lange Voorhout Palees asuv Escheri Muuseumi, kus saab näha Hollandi graafikakunstniku M. C. Escheri teoseid. Väljapanek oli midagi teistsugust ja mõjus värskendavalt. Õpetlik, aga sai kai ise kätt külge panna. 

Peale tehnilise oskuste vajasid Escheri graafilised lahendused ka väga head kujutlusvõimet. Tihti proovis ta oma teostes edasi anda matemaatilisi probleeme või petta vaatlejat erinevate illusioonidega, mis tegelikuses ei oleks võimalikud. Selleks kasutas ta erinevaid võtteid, näiteks konna või linnuperspektiiv.

Kui muuseumist välja saime oli kell viis ja see tähendas kahte asja. Väljas oli kottpime ja miniatuurlinn, mida olime tahtnud näha on oma uksed sulgunud. Uusi väljakutseid otsides otsustasime et trotsime halba ilma ja lähme randa. Nagu hiljem selgus tegime õige valiku.

Pool tundi trammisõitu hiljem ja Ben&Jerri jäätis kõhus katsusime kätega põhjamerd. Külm oli, väga külm. Tuul oli tohutu, sadas rahet ja sooja oli kolm kraadi. Aga võimas võimas vaatepilt. Taandusime ruttu dePier nimelisse restoranilinnakusse. Purre, mis on ehitatud sadu meetreid lahele ja mis tipneb suure vaaterattaga. Nagu Ameerikas ainult ilm on nagu Eestis.

Vaateratast silmates teadsime et sinna me lähme. 9 euro eest kolm ringi. Aga vaade oli võimas. Selle asemel võtsime restoranist õlle, nautisime tormist merevaadet ja seadsime sammud tagasi rongijaama.

Järjekordselt nähtud ja tehtud. Kurb on teadmine, et rohkem vabasid päevi meil reisimiseks ei ole, aga tööd peab ka tegema. Ja tegelt oleme mõlemad väga õnnelikud et meil selline võimalus on avanenud. Aga lubasin ju otsi veel mitte kokku tõmmata.

HC Erlangen - Sommerfahrplan

Sechs Wochen nach dem letzten Saisonspiel 2023/24 bereitet sich die Mannschaft von Trainer Johannes Sellin mit schweißtreibenden Trainingseinheiten, Foto-Shooting, zwei intensiven Trainingslagern und sechs Testspielen akribisch auf den Bundesligastart 2024/25 vor.

Handball: HC Erlangen schlägt den VfL Gummersbach mit 30:22

Mit 30:22 (15:10) gewann der Erstligist aus Erlangen sein Heimspiel gegen den VfL Gummersbach und feierte vor den Augen von 3624 Fans in der ARENA  die ersten zwei Punkte der Saison 2018/2019.

In den ersten 30. Spielminuten präsentierte sich der HC Erlangen von Beginn an spielfreudig und hoch motiviert. Bereits nach zehn Minuten führten die Franken durch den Treffer von Johannes Sellin mit 6:2. Die Führung war vor allem der starken Abwehrleistung der Erlanger zu verdanken, die immer wieder schnelle Ballgewinne ermöglichte, welche der HC konsequent nutze. Der sechsfache Torschütze Dominik Mappes führte im Angriff clever Regie und schaffte es immer wieder sich und seine Nebenmänner in gute Wurfpositionen zu bringen. So ging der HC über die Spielstände 11:8 und 15:10 zur Pause mit fünf Toren in Führung.

Gummersbach kämpfte gegen die Niederlage Nach dem Wiederanpfiff erzielten Nikolai Link und Johannes Sellin die Treffer Nummer 16 und 17 für den HC Erlangen. Die Gäste aus Gummersbach versuchten die drohende Niederlage noch einmal abzuwenden und verkürzten in der 35. Spielminute auf 16:13. Obwohl die Abwehr des HC Erlangen auch im zweiten Durchgang gute Arbeit leistete, gelang es den Oberbergischen zu guten Torchancen zu kommen. Der VfL scheiterte in dieser Phase aber immer wieder an Torhüter Nikolas Katsigiannis, der mit einer Quote von 39,39 Prozent gehaltener Bälle den Weg für den Heimsieg ebnete. Spätestens nach der direkten Disqualifizierung von Stanislav Zhukov (38. Spielminute) geriet der erste Heimsieg der Saison nicht mehr in Gefahr.

Gute Nachrichten für die beiden Außen-Spieler des heimischen Handball-Bundesligisten MT Melsungen: Michael Allendorf und Johannes Sellin sind zu einem Lehrgang der deutschen A-Nationalmannschaft Anfang Dezember in Barsinghausen eingeladen worden. (jna)

Sellin bleibt Cheftrainer

Johannes Sellin bleibt Cheftrainer des HC Erlangen. Der Verein und Sellin haben sich auf die Vertragsverlängerung bis Sommer 2026 verständigt. Als Spieler (Rechtsaußen bis 2023) bestritt er über 400 Bundesligaspiele, warf 1321 Tore und ist seit 2017 bei den Franken.

Sellin wird Co-Trainer

Europameister Johannes Sellin soll als Co-Trainer HCE-Cheftrainer Hartmut Mayerhoffer bei seiner Arbeit unterstützen. Sellin kehrt nach nur einem halben Jahr als U23-Trainer zu den Profis zurück.
