Was busy over the weekend so am only now catching up with My Stand In. Honestly, why do people make me be sociable? I'd much rather stay in and watch BLs ffs.
So... JOE wtf are you doing? Wut has offered help and nope, you're going to take the job as Tong's stunt man because you're too proud to accept his offer. Grr. You are your own worst enemy (not that we didn't know this already).
The bar scene was so tense - when the guy, the almost stand in for Ming wearing the same jacket, approached Joe my shoulders were up around my ears. Up is so good at looking completely contemptuous btw - if anyone ever looked at me like that I would just shrivel and die.
Jim, your 'Khun Ming doesn't drink' line would be a lot more convincing if we hadn't just seen him sippng from a glass of booze. Just saying. And I can't believe you (literally) ran away and left Joe to his fate with your drunk boss. Tut. When do we get to see Mike again? I've missed Inntouch's little face - the new haircut suits him.
I gasped when Joe nearly smashed the couple mugs.
Why did you turn down all the help from nice people Joe? First Wut now Sol Is it because, despite everything, you still want Ming? (hint: yes) And so Ming wants Joe to be a stand in for himself but Joe thinks he wants a stand in for Tong (again). And next week Ming will discover that it wasn't Tong's back at all so he was always a stand in for Joe. Gah.
The layers are layering.
I can't WAIT to see Ming lose it when he finds out the back he fell for was Joe's all along. His meltdown will be epic and I am here for it. But the thing I want the most (other than his utter humiliation and loss of all he holds dear naturally) is Tong's reaction when Ming discards him. This is a man who's been stringing Ming along for years. YEARS. He drops crumbs, is jealous when Ming pays attention to anyone else etc so what is his reaction to Ming coming to his senses and pulling away from his manipulative arse going to be?
Actually Tong reminds me of Ter from Wandee Goodday - also Wal from My Dear Gangster Oppa and the 'friend' in Roommates of Poonduck 304. They're all characters who absolutely know the MC is in love with them. They accept EVERYTHING that the poor man offers and uses them, stringing them along purely for either what they can get materially or for an ego boost. Or both. I loathe this type of character. LOATHE. I want to see these emotionally manipulative bastards get their comeuppance* </rant over>
Roll on next week. Can't wait! And now I have to cleanse my palate with Saturday's Wandee Goodday
*Roommates is a great little series with some seriously good chemistry and the cafe scene where Jae Yun finally discovers that he's been used for all those years is gutting.

This Week in BL - I'm Muddled, there is SO MUCH on, but also I have FEELS
Organized, in each category, with ones I'm enjoying most at the top.
July 2024 Week 2
Ongoing Series - Thai
Wandee Goodday (Sat YT) ep 11 of 12 - Yak is such a demanding babygirl princess type. It’s kinda hilarious in a fierce boxer dude. I do adore the core brother friendship in this show. It’s so sweet. Also I guess Yak is out OUT now, on TV and everything.
YES PLEASE GMMTV!!! This ship! Sail it!!!!
The Rebound (Weds Gaga) eps 4-6 of 12? - So it started out as a relatively simple sports romance: first love, separation, reunion. But then just went entirely off the rails: gay mafia orgies, kidnapping, druggie ex teammates with knives, I am Spartacus. All erratic Thai pulp mumbo-jumbo aside? MeenPing are doing great in these roles. Zen's hurt confusion, Ryu’s struggle with internalized homophobia that keeps hurting Zen as much as him.
Am I wrong to ship FrankPing Just a little bit? I only wanna see them kiss. It’s not asking too much, is it?
Not sure what’s going on with Gaga and their "ep 6 of 6" thing. Or why they bundle-aired them. Did they just get the rights for the first half? Where is the rest?
Sunset X Vibes (Sat iQIYI) ep 5 of 12 - I always end my Saturday with these 2 simply because I love this pair. I also enjoy the show. It’s sweet and I giggle a lot. I like that they’re dressing (and letting) Lin be a bit femmey - with his pussycat bows, coco bag, and little heels. I’m not sure about the pet names but I’ll accept them if I must.
My Stand-In (iQIYI) ep 12 fin - I would like to watch an entire show about the older brother boss and his hot secretary. Bit of a bully romance? Please & thank you?
This was a good solid ending, less predictable than I expected, which I appreciat. I liked that they had a full conversation about forgiveness. But overall, I am left in a muddle.
The show itself? A summation? Oof, here we go...
Adaptation of Chinese novel "Professional Body Double" by Shui Qiang Cheng. Stars Up (Lovely Writer) and Poom (Bake Me Please) directed by the same team as KinnPorsche. Stuntman Joe dies on the job and wakes up in the body of another Joe with an entirely different life. But Joe just starts repeating the mistakes of his previous self - love, work, play. I enjoyed the experience of watching this show, I looked forward to it every week. I thought everybody did a great job with it and in it, and I liked that is was something substantially *different* for Thai BL. But I’m not sure I'll rewatch it or if it's bingeable. It left me feeling more sanguine than happy. Is there, objectively, anything wrong with it? No. But am I in love with it? No. I think that rests on the central characters, Ming in particular. I never liked him or warmed to them as a couple. I spent most of this show just very very sorry for poor Joe. Thus I was never rooting for their romance. I would recommend it, if you enjoy your BL more cerebral, with complicated unlikable love interests, and a downtrodden sympathetic lead. Is it, perhaps, more JBL that ThBL? Am I biased because it's a Thai production and I had expectations? What magical carnage could Japan have done with this IP? I'm left with questions, but I'm ultimately glad I watched this.
All this means that this show should, by all my own standards, get at 9/ 10. But I'm giving it an 8/10. So there.
We Are Cute (Weds iQIYI) ep 15 of 16 - It really is the antidote to Friend Zone. Like GMMTV just set out to make a nice little show about nice boys being very nice and kissing each other nicely. And it makes me very happy.
Century of Love (Weds Gaga) eps 1-2 of 10 - DaouOffroad are back, this time as fated mates in a quasi historical paranormal moment. Very much Director Who Buys Me Dinner meets First Love Again, hopefully better than both. I love this pair and think they can handle the premise, it's whether the storytelling is up to the challenge.
So far? I like it a lot. I love it when Thailand gets all up in its own historical business and reincarnation and bullshit like that. I’ve always liked this pair too (it’s not their fault I didn’t enjoy most of their first series.) Daou’s wushu is pretty snazzy. We got a fun meet cute. (Erm... Remeet cute? Meet cute 2.0?) And this is a very PRETTY show. With more comedy than I was expecting.
This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans (Fri iQIYI) ep 2 of 8 - I like the friendships, but so far I’m not sold on the personalities of the main couple. Of course I love the pair, and I know they can handle it, but I hope the story justifies their chemistry.
My Love Mix-Up Th (Fri YT) ep 6 of 12 - They are so damn teen dramatic and over-the-top. To have really played into the impact of the counselor character's original casting, they should’ve had Krist play the role! (GET IT?) That’d be ridiculously ironic. Not that I object to GMMTVs #1 Daddy Papang. Never that.
The Trainee (Sun YouTube) ep 2 of 12 - Ah ha, I figured it out. This reminds me of The Devil Wears Prada. I’m finding most of the rest of the interns too caricature and thus annoying. But I’m still liking this more than I expected.
Love Sea (Sun iQIYI) ep 5 of 10 - The bullying GL subplot is just bad. And I’m getting an overall squick from the fact that the two rich privileged characters are essentially taking advantage of the two lower class poor characters. Trash watch here.
Knock Knock Boys (Thurs Gaga) ep 8 of 12 - I’m coming around to Almond + Latte, but I’m not super sold on any of the other plot lines.
Ongoing Series - Not Thai
I Hear the Sunspot AKA Hidamari ga Kikoeru (Japan Weds Gaga) ep 3 of 10 - It’s still good and it’s still sticking relatively closely to the mango. So I’m still enjoying it.
Takara's Treasure AKA Takara No Vidro (Japan Mon Gaga) ep 2 of 10 - I just don’t really like the dynamic of the younger, poor, country kid desperately chasing the older hot boy. It’s a bit too desperate or something. It’d be different if Takara were a nicer person, but he doesn’t have much going for him but a pretty face.
It's airing but...
Meet You at the Blossom
In case you missed it
OMG Vampire (Thai Sun ???) 10 eps - It's ended. Should I watch it? right now 1 vote for and 1 vote against.
The Time of Fever AKA Unintentional Love Story 2 (Korea movie) trailer released to Korean theaters 5/25. HoTae & DongHee, side couple from Unintentional Love Story are back! Same actors, same character names. I love them. Devastated this hasn't had international distribution. I demand you tell me the moment you find it!
The Last Time (Thai Fri YT) - Got bumped to Aug 2. Convoluted story of loss and possible reincarnation or something.
Next Week Looks Like This:
Upcoming BLs for 2024 are listed here. This list is not kept updated, so please leave a comment if you know something new or RP with additions.
July Releases to Come
7/24 I Saw You in My Dream (Thai Weds WeTV) - Dee Hup is behind this one so I have high hopes. Younger boy chronically teased his whole life by the older boy next door suddenly starts having horrific prophetic dreams about his bully and must save hime.
7/26 4 Minutes (Thai Netflix or iQIYI?) - Great is a university student from Faculty of Business and the son of a wealthy business owner. Out of the blue, he gains the supernatural power to see four minutes into the future.
7/29 Battle of the Writers (Thai ????) - trailer here, TutorYim return and while I adore them, I really hope this is better than Middleman's Love. Won't be hard. However: that premise! Ugh. Something something authors fighting - save me. Why don't writers understand that nothing is more boring than writers?
THIS WEEK’S BEST MOMENTS
Such a Best Boy, not leaving his drink behind!
YES please.
Follow me here... these 2 in the Thai BL version of Tein Bromance X, which is to say: Mean assassin meets and falls HARD for snarky school teacher, they adopt a kid together. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO WATCH IT.
(Last week)
Streaming services are listed by how I (usually) watch, which is with a USA based IP, and often offset by a day because time zones are a pain.
The tag BLigade: @doorajar @solitaryandwandering @my-rose-tinted-glasses @babymbbatinygirl @babymbbatinygirl @isisanna-blog @mmastertheone @pickletrip @aliceisathome @urikawa-miyuki @tokillamonger @sunflower-positiiivity @rocketturtle4 @blglplus @anythinggoesintheshire @everlightly @renafire @mestizashinrin @bl-bam-beyond @small-dark-and-delicious @saezurumurmurs

The Sol-tuation is a lot more nuanced than that!!
Who knew I, an absolutely feral Mingjoe shipper, would end up making so many posts about the secondary love interest who never stood a chance with our protagonist, but I truly think they're doing some fascinating things with this character and it hurts a little to see so so so many fandom reactions that take what's happening on the surface as the full story with no interest in peeling back those appearances.
I will say before I start: huge credit to @zhouxiangs for so many of these opinions, she shared a few insights about Sol with me today that completely reshaped my interpretation of the character, so thank you x 2389234, this post is not exclusively My thoughts. (Also SolYim as a ship is galaxy brain and the only thing I now want for Sol's future. Thank you for that TOO)
So I very much understand why what it appears Sol is doing - ignoring Joe's clear lack of interest in him to pursue him, taking every opportunity to touch him, and working overtime to prevent Joe from seeing the truth about Ming and his obvious devotion, so he can still "win" Joe instead - is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way. Straight up, situations where people I'm not romantically interested in have pursued me despite my clear and direct (and often hard-fought because I used to be a huge people pleaser) "no" are something I hope to avoid for the rest of my natural life. Relentless pursuit can be a sexy fantasy if you want someone back, as Joe does Ming, but for most of us, it's emotionally pressuring nightmare fuel if you don't.
But I would argue that's really not what's happening. An extremely essential missing piece of context to Sol's behavior is that Joe died because of his relationship with Ming, and Sol spent years grieving him. In episode 9 in particular, they're all face-to-face with the cold hard truth of that grief, and I don't think Sol is any exception, even if he knows Joe is back now. In episode 8, Sol confirmed Joe was back, and he was so euphorically happy, but he was not pushing and shoving Joe to hop into a relationship with him, was he? He was just delighted Joe was alive. But this episode, he's suddenly faced with the very real prospect that Ming and Joe still have feelings for each other. That Joe may return to the man who got him killed. Who Sol, in his own eyes, failed to protect Joe from in his first life, even though Sol so badly wanted to pay back Joe's sincerity to him. And I think the threat of losing Joe again is making Sol (who ran back to Korea instead of processing his grief and guilt over his death) a little insane.
I mean, let's talk about Sol in Joe's first life. After Joe told him he couldn't return his feelings, did we see any inkling of this frantic episode 9 pushiness? Sure, there was the moment where he tried to convince Joe that he and Ming were incompatible, after watching Ming need to hide Joe from his family in what I'm sure read as shame to Sol. I can give Sol some grace for this knowing he struggled with coming to terms with his own sexuality (see: the first time he ran away to Korea), and is now trying to overcompensate for who he was in the past, but you don't have to give him this grace if you don't want to. I can admit his desire to support Joe as a friend is compromised by the tumultuousness of his longing for Joe. Like there's also the fight with Ming on the staircase where Joe gets knocked down and Sol and Ming just keep fighting. Sol is not a saintly unselfish being who keeps his feelings and his desire to protect and support Joe perfectly separate, by any means. (To me this is part of why he's interesting and human, but I get that we all have different character preferences.)
But dinner with Ming's family aside, when first life Joe tells Sol he doesn't want to be with him, Sol lets it go and is happy living in the friend zone. When Joe tells him not to come over and intervene when he's trying to break up with Ming, Sol listens. Sol believes that Joe can handle himself and he respects the boundaries that Joe sets, regardless of what he wants or hopes in the privacy of his own heart.
And what happens without Sol's intervention? Without anyone's intervention? Joe dies. Joe is chained up in a basement - Joe was not safe with Ming, Joe was not able to clear the situation up using just his words - and blacklisted from the industry, driven to desperate financial straits and killed.
So my read of Sol is that he's scrambling to make himself a shield. He thought he was already in a role where he could support Joe, this time around, but this episode raised the threat of Joe going back to Ming and dying again, and now he's frantically trying to change himself into something that can actually keep Joe from doing that. If Joe suddenly decided he wanted to be with Sol and not Ming, would Sol be happy on his own behalf? Of course, I'm not denying that. But I really think so much of the desperation to offer himself as a romantic choice is to try to show Joe he has options that aren't Ming, to try to intervene in ways he didn't in Joe's first life, at any cost.
You can't force someone not to return to an abusive partner, the same way you can't force someone not to commit suicide, or make any other choice where they could get hurt or disappear from your life forever. It's a necessary journey for everyone, to realize you have to respect your loved ones' agency even when they're making choices that terrify you to your core. Sol has not learned that yet, and I'm not defending how pushy and out of pocket he was being this episode. But I'm really, really sympathetic to the absolutely frantic terror that I think was underlying it. If you've never had a suicidal loved one or a loved one trapped in a destructive cycle, it's easy enough to expect Sol to do the right things (the actually HELPFUL and supportive things), instead of the toxic, selfish things. For me he's a far richer and more human character for making the wrong choices, though. For being selfish, but not about wanting to possess Joe and force his feelings Sol's way. About wanting to keep Joe alive and unharmed by force, instead of trusting Joe to make his own choices. Again: you have to let people decide these things for themselves. You have to! If you don't support your loved ones' agency, any other support you think you're offering them is useless and suffocating and will genuinely compound whatever they're dealing with, make it much harder for them to heal, leave, etc - whatever the "healthy" choice is, they can't make it with you forcing them into it. They can't make it without you surrendering to the possibility of them making the "unhealthy" choice; without you accepting that it is their choice. But for a fictional character to go from "genuinely supportive friend" to "publicly announcing you're in a branded relationship a day after your own funeral" because he sees you slipping from his grasp - not emotionally, but potentially literally, metaphysically, permanently, AGAIN - well, to me, that's juicy and compelling.
I'm also more sympathetic to Sol than to Wut when it comes to telling Joe that Ming loves him, frankly. I think Joe needs an impartial friend (Yim!!!) that he can process all his Ming issues with openly, because it is never helpful to feel like because your friends know that your abuser/ex/etc harmed you, you can never go to them to process the moments of kindness and love. Joe needs to be able to look at the full picture of who Ming is and what Ming feels and decide for himself, he doesn't need Sol strongarming him out of accepting that Ming is capable of both great cruelty and great love. But Wut always takes the path of least resistance and it absolutely maddens me. To just say, with no qualification, "The man I and only I know knocked you out and kept you locked in a basement loves you, actually" is absolutely insane and irresponsible. I do not for a second believe Wut was ready to express nuance, to say, like, "I think Ming loves you in his own way, but that love is dangerous and possessive and I hope you stay away." If we see anything in the text that demonstrates otherwise I'm happy to be wrong about this, and then I would be in the "Let Wut speak!" camp. But for now, I do think he was going to play the role of an enabler, just because he finds it easier to let Ming handle Joe's estate and be in Joe's life than to fight it. Lol it still doesn't make Sol right to try to keep Joe from seeing the full picture, but I'm sympathetic to him going wtf, Wut? Do you really think Ming loves him? knowing what Wut knows.
Anyway this is sooooo long so I will try to wrap it up, but I wanted to also talk about Sol and Joe and physical touch. Like I said at the beginning, I totally understand seeing how often Sol hugs Joe or grabs him and feeling uncomfortable imagining yourself in Joe's shoes. But as uncomfortable as EYE would be with Sol's affections, I want to try to analyze how Joe the character feels about all this. Now one of the things I most love about this series is the opaqueness of all the characters' choices, how there is always ambiguity and room for more than one interpretation. So if you watch the scenes where Sol puts his hands on Joe and think Joe looks trapped or unhappy, that is your prerogative! I noticed that the two times he shook Sol's touch off in the episode were when he thought Sol was going to stop him from breaking into his loft, and when he thought Sol was going to cause a scandal with Ming at the press party. Otherwise, from where I sit (my interpretation only!), Joe does not appear to experience Sol's touch as something unwanted or unsafe. I would actually make the argument that having someone he's known for years sharing a bed with him, hugging him, holding his hand, etc, could be offering Joe essential tactile comfort he's not getting from anyone else while he's in the midst of grieving his past life. For all we know, the level of physical intimacy between them is something that completely predates Sol acknowledging his feelings. This could be a normal level of touchiness between them, and not an example of Sol "taking liberties" or trying to force his way into Joe's heart.
To me the upshot of everything is that Joe, to my eyes, seems to feel completely safe with Sol and his professed feelings. When Sol brings his feelings up again when they're getting their makeup done, Joe's response ("how did the conversation turn to this?") pinged me as playful, affectionate, not uncomfortable and pressured. Joe is absolutely terrified of Ming's feelings for him and, significantly, what they would do to Joe's feelings for Ming - he is keeping himself away from Ming by the power of "You don't love me and never did" and when that crumbles so will most of his ability to resist him, I think - but Sol's feelings can't do anything to Joe. They can't make him want things he doesn't want, and they can't make him want things he doesn't want to want. I would argue that Sol is a friend that Joe feels safe around, and his open crush on Joe causes a bit of awkwardness, to be sure, but it doesn't make Joe feel pressured to do anything but be himself. When he's with Sol, he's not afraid of Sol, Sol's feelings, or Joe's feelings. I think that's important to acknowledge! The same way that Sol needs to accept that Joe is allowed to make the choice to go back to Ming and it's never been in Sol's hands, imo fandom needs to accept that if Joe is comfortable with Sol and his affections, we can't argue that he is being pressured by them, or in danger, or anything else.
But that's just my interpretation! I am happy to be disagreed with, haha. I just think Sol is as rich and interesting a character as Ming, but many of us as viewers have more trouble with flawed and selfish kindness (Sol) than we do with complex cruelty (Ming). But I love flawed and selfish kindness. I love characters who are trying so hard to be good and to take care of people they love, and fucking it up and not seeing the ways their wants and fears are getting in the way. So I love Sol. And obviously have a lot to say about him lol.
#dear diary#my stand in#oof#i will post this and THEN edit it because look at all those words... egads#it is 1am... egads!!!#my stand in spoilers#suicide#abuse

POLL TAG – FIVE FAVORITE CHARACTERS
I was tagged by @lurkingshan (at this post linked here) and @pickletrip (at this post linked here). Thanks dearies! 🥰
Challenge: make a poll with five of your all time favorite characters, and then tag five people to do the same. See which character is everyone's favorite.
I'm sticking to BLs as well, because the field would be far too wide otherwise (can you imagine a poll with Dolly Levi, Buffy Summers, Joe Rossi from Lou Grant, Lady Deathstrike from X-Men 2, any one of the Golden Girls, Erik Killmonger from Black Panther the movie, the Beastmaster and cartoon Aladdin? 🤣).
Anyway, I don't watch all that much BL (not compared to the majority of people here on BL Tumblr, who have watchlists longer than Babe's wig when he was Wansarat in The Sign). So that narrows the field considerably for me – and my list has some likely suspects, including an unbreakable pairing, and also one highly unusual choice. But I'll explain my choices after the poll itself:
Why these characters? Here's my spiel:
PatPran (Bad Buddy) I've combined these two as a single choice, because obviously they go together (and so well too). But really, I would have loved to have listed them separately, because I have different reasons for loving them. Pat is just an all-round good guy, hopelessly optimistic, generous and so giving; he thinks of others before himself (and if both partners in a couple do that, well, you then have a mutually-reinforcing relationship). Pran I love because I can see so much of myself in him, from his tics and foibles, his interests, to his struggles finding his courage and growing into his own identity.
Li Ming (Moonlight Chicken) In a lot of ways, what Li Ming was going through in MLC paralleled some of my own experiences when I was a teen his age. If only they'd had MLC or something similar for teenage me to have watched growing up! Li Ming was somehow able to navigate the pressures of becoming someone true to himself (something that Pran, and I too in my teens, struggled with) while dealing with real world issues at the same time (economic hardship in Li Ming's case, while in mine it was general teen angst and family stress). He didn't let life get to him, and he stayed the course, knowing his own self-worth even when others were telling him to scale back his expectations (Uncle Jim and Heart's parents). Lessons in there for all LGBTQ+ teens, and Khun Noppharnach's socially-conscious BLs should be given more credit for the positive role models they portray and how they help the younger set. Plus Fourth did an excellent job bringing Li Ming to life (thanks in part I think to Director Aof's guidance; Fourth's Atom in My Love Mix-Up Thailand is a lot less grounded and authentic, at least from what I've seen in the first couple of episodes).
Porsche (KinnPorsche) This entry is just for fun. KinnPorsche was a wild ride, whacking us with whiplash at every turn, and Porsche was emblematic of that experience. Cool, sexy martial arts fighter in one episode, total buffoon at the mercy of sprinklers, piss-allergic carp and mermaid costumes in others. Apo gamely played along, and he can do both slick action and slapstick comedy well, so watching Porsche always brought a smile to my face. Whether it was seducing Kinn with pappy supermarket bread, or warding off ghosts with a penis amulet, you never knew what craziness was in store next with this character. Pure entertainment.
Adachi (Cherry Magic) Adachi charmed the briefs off me the moment the lift doors went CLANG!!! on him while he was distracted with whatever it was that was speedrunning through his head again. Such a lovable doofus, always surprised by whatever situation he managed to stumble into. Eiji Akaso is really good-looking, but he didn't care about image and happily took all the pratfalls in his stride. He somehow managed to imbue Adachi's clumsy clownery with a strange sense of dignity (helped along, I suppose, by the fact that we could also hear Adachi's inner monologue, allowing us to see the innocent good-heartedness within).
Dissaya (Bad Buddy) This is the odd one out. Pran's mom was hated by so many fans during Bad Buddy's run, who blamed her for ruining Pran's life in many ways. And it's true her own hang-ups wrought havoc on Pran's relationship with the world outside. But for someone with so few scenes, I think she's actually one of the more complex characters in Bad Buddy, with a turbulent backstory that explains how her own relationship with the world got so warped. My read is that everything she did, including sending Pran away in high school, was done out of love for her beloved only son and motivated by a desire to protect him at all costs. She was a smothering, over-protective mother to be sure, but I think the lady just didn't know any better, and the last two episodes of Bad Buddy really do invite us to rethink our earlier appraisals of her. It wasn't easy doing Dissaya's character study based on the fairly scant details we got (write-ups linked here and here), but they were enough for me to glean an understanding of who I think she is. And I think in the end she is someone worthy of respect, so I do tip my hat out of respect for her. It's also obvious Pran loves her dearly, as much as she loves him back. And I think I trust Pran's judgement of character on this one. 😍
Onward tagging:
@neuroticbookworm, @colourme-feral, @airenyah, @wen-kexing-apologist, @solitaryandwandering
I really want to tag more, but this game limits us to five so these are just five people tagged at random. If I haven't tagged you but you'd like to play, please do so (knowing that I want to tag everyone and then some)! And please tag me if you play, so that I can read and vote on your poll too. 😍

series review
Spoiler warning!!!
we are the series -
This show is so cute.
I can definitely see myself coming back to watch this as a comfort show.
Pisses me off that it took phem and peem up until episode 13 to start dating.
Q and toey are so cute I want to rip my hair out omg. Definitely my favorite side couple.
So sad it's ending soon.
8 out of 10
I give this rating because it took so long for the main couple to get together. Also I feel like it was dragged on a little longer than it should have. But the acting is great ( as expected from pond and phuwin) and I keep coming back for more.
My stand in the series-
BROOO
This show most definitely keeps me on my feet.
I don't understand why Joe would go back to the people who basically killed him.
I tried so hard to like ming but the second he chained my man how up I lost any liking I had for him.
I was a passionate Joe and sol supporter but when I saw how sad and helpless ming was I couldn't help but feel bad for him. ( I know I'm insane)
After finding out that Joe was in this joe's body he knew he had to make things right and I'm proud of him for all the sacrifices he is making right now.
9 out of 10
I give this rating because it's genuinely a really good series. Sure I kick and scream like a mad person but that's just apart of the experience.
I know that Joe will choose ming in the end because I've seen the trailer but its still nerve racking.
That are so foul for not giving the teaser for the last episode. I have to sit through the week in pain.
This love doesn't have long beans-
The way I've waited so long for this.
When I saw the announcement I was in school and I tried my absolute best to keep calm.
I've been obsessed with sailubpon since pit babe and I'm so happy that they have their own series.
Not to mention Garfield and benz. I'm so excited to see how there relationship develops.
I find the fact that the restaurant is actually babe's house from pit babe so funny.
8.5 out of 10
I think it's only fair to give this rating.
The first episode just came out but I'm already in love.
And like I said I waited so long for this series.
I'm so excited for next Friday.
I am definitely not excited about the "love triangle" though sigh.
My love mix-up
I cannot stress enough how much I love this series.
I love how fun Geminiforth make every series that they are in.
The confession was soo stressful though.. because what do you mean atom confessed got scared and tripped, ended up rolling down the hill with kongthap and then kongthap got bit by a snake...let's just say I was out of my bed for the whole thing.
I'm so ready for mudmee to confess because her and half are so cute.
9 out of 10
This series is so refreshing after the trauma I get from my stand in.
I can never get bored with geminiforth and I will always support them in all of their projects.
Sunset x vibes-
im not going to lie I wasn't too interested when watching the first episode but I let a few more episodes to come out before continuing and now I like it.
It's definitely something to watch when I'm bored every Saturday.
The friend group does kind of annoy me a little bit.. they blackmailed people that are way higher up in the business than they are which kind of gave me the ick. I understand that they were worried about their friend but I wouldn't go around blackmailing people. I'm pushing through though and I'm looking forward to the development of Sam and yo though.
I love moss and bank and I've wanted to see them in another series again for a while now.
7.5 out of 10
Though I like how the show is developing I have a few problems with it.
I wish they added translations for the jewelry scene but then again that could just be my streaming platform problem.
I will always love anything moss and bank do and this is no hate towards anyone!
Love sea-
oh. my. god.
This show has me in a chokehold i swear.
Again with the friends though omg! Mook girlie I promise tongrak will be ok if he has a man in his house.. I mean look at mut.. all I have to say.
I find the whole nook and vie situation is so cute though I'm so ready for them to get together.
Also these scenes man... they need to let us breathe. LET US BREATHE.
8.5 out of 10
I love fortpeat sooo much.
The difference between their characters in love in the air and love sea is funny but I live for it.
So ready for mut to show tongrak what love actually is.
Also money doesn't buy love guys 😔
Those are all the the shows I'm watching right now..it's a 9 to 5 job I swear... ( Please I need more shows ☹️) If you have any recommendations I will gladly take them. Sadly I can only watch on iqiyi and YouTube though so please stick to shows that air on those platforms please and thank you 🫶🫶🫶

Hey My Stand-In fandom, Are we hoping for a plot twist?
I see some of you are hoping Joe's body isn't gone and he just fell through the trees into...a deep lake or something, and survived.
So I wonder...
Option A - Switching back: If model Joe returns eager to get his body and life back, stuntman Joe might be down to swap, but only if -- after paying off model Joe's debt -- model Joe agrees to coldly break up with Ming for him once and for all.
Option B - Joe's dead: This could trigger the next stages of grief for Ming, which could drive Joe to believe Ming really did love him, and convince him to try to pursue Ming again -- resolved to ultimately live as his own stand-in.
Option C - Paralyzed amnesiac: If Joe's body survived, it would have to be pretty banged up. If Ming saw him in that state, he would go out of his way to dote on him and dedicate his life to making model Joe's life easier. And it would be extra tragic if stuntman Joe decided to switch back, so as not to subject model Joe to a life of paralysis. The amnesia would also make the decision wholly his, and that much more selfless. Plus, it would explain why it took model Joe so long to return.
Option D - Joe soulmates: I saw some viewers suggesting that Ming recognizes Joe in his new body because their souls are connected, but one could argue that the Joe's souls are even more so -- or at the very least their bodies vibrate at the same frequency that they could swap so easily. What if that's because they're the ones that are meant to be, and this was all an elaborate way of getting them to find each other?
Option E - Joe dream: Ming did hit him pretty hard on the head that night when he kidnapped him. What if everything after that was just a very vivid dream, and he's been in a coma for X amount of weeks? What if Ming is in custody for attempted kidnapping, and when Joe wakes up, the accident never happened? What if it ends with Ming's parents paying off the cops and sending him out of the country? 🤔
What if I had more patience to wait for the next episode? 🙃

A Huge Prompt List
Basically we all know I can’t resist a good prompt list, so when I saw @emwritesfootball doing this. I had to stop myself from doing it, I crumbled lol. So I am only blaming myself here and only me. This is a huge prompt list I know, so I will take my time getting through it. But I thought it was a bit of fun and I loved all the prompts. Credit to the very talented page @creativepromptsforwriting who created these lists. Request with the number as well as which list you are choosing from. I will write beside it who got which prompt. If you do any ideas for the prompt, let me know. Also if a prompt has been taken, I will see if I can do multiple players on that request for you. Enjoy reading through the huge list. x

ASSUMING THEY COULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM
Com/foo because that is the Valley's equivalent of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign: The Dish. I had been. If you use this method, you'll get into the search business. For example, Unisys's attempts to enforce their patent on LZW compression. What kind of anti-dilution protection do they want? But even if we thought they'd be successful. You need a big percentage of your startup.
Right now most of you feel your job in life is to fund more of. As I was doing before. But investors' opinions are a trailing indicator in any case the odds of finding programmers, libraries, etc. Number 1, languages vary in power.1 When something is described as good. There are situations in which you can then trade again for anything else you tell a kid, but it's clear they do from the number of startups. Most employees' work is tangled together. I found to my surprise that I was disgusted by the idea. And if you find yourself saying a sentence that ends with but we're going to make it, but by default the valuation you got from the first one is ready to buy. Mostly because they're optimistic by nature. Writers do this too. But even to people who don't believe in a deal, the capitalization table looks like this: It's like we're married, but we're going to make the team, and many children are just intrinsically cruel.
A great deal has been written about the causes of failure, you succeed—and that's too big, they become overwhelmed. It's not just that Steve Jobs and Co are industrial design wizards, but because it didn't seem ambitious enough. And since most of what big companies don't realize the danger.2 There was one firm that wanted to do, and even then was afflicted by the structural problems I've described above. Most successful founders would probably say that if they'd known when they were Robin Hood, their stock price rose like Google's. Obviously one case where it pays to put off even those errands is that real essays are not exclusively about English literature. A throbbing headache is not a new idea you can publish a paper about it, because the people you work with had better be to make money for a certain field, it's probably good grazing. And when you see statements being attacked as x-ist or y-ic substitute your current values of x and y, whether in shops or on farms or even on warships. Is In industrialized countries the same thing at different stages in its life: economic power converts to wealth, and wealth to social class. When eminent visitors came to see us, we had to buy air by the liter.
The worst problem was that they weren't written the way we'd see them. Sean Parker was exactly what the benefits would be. It was easier for her to watch people if they didn't notice her. Basically, what Ajax means is Javascript now works. This suggests a way to compress your whole working life into a few years ago an Italian friend of mine who is a good idea for a new techology, than a few years ago I read a book, and in b the second phase is less secure. They're unable to raise more money, and it is no surprise that the pointy-haired boss in 1992 what language software should be less vulnerable to viruses. And the only thing that can kill a good startup founder down to two words: just learn. But there can't be too much of a direct frontal attack on it. What Business Can Learn from Open Source August 2005 This essay is derived from a keynote talk at the 2006 Startup School. What seemed like an anomaly to them was in fact cause and effect. Our startup spent its entire marketing budget on PR: at a time, because time is what life is made of data structures that you can get at least the concept of insanely great already existed in the arts could tell you, the writer, the false impression that you're saying more than you spend. In print they had to work at Yahoo.
I don't find that I'm eager to learn it at all. Having good ideas is most of writing well. The root of the problem is to start their own, so they will only be a niche within a niche. That's what Facebook did. Well, it was crap. Especially the type, all too common for an assistant to result in a net increase in work. In fact most such rules are just hacks to manage large groups efficiently. If you want to make money. Ultimately, I think, should be able to write a program depends mostly on its length. The idea that a successful person should be happy has thousands of years of momentum behind it. That space of ideas doesn't have dangerous local maxima, the space of ideas doesn't have dangerous local maxima, the space of possibilities is so large that you can use to figure out the right thing.
So we're in much the same position; he doesn't have majority control of Microsoft; in principle he also has to be some plausible sequence of hops that leads to new ideas you have while doing it. How many points should an email get for having the word sex in it? This is another lesson the world has yet to learn. Originally, yes, but it seems perverse to go poking around in this fog when there are people working hard to distract you. 16 of the 23 patterns in Design Patterns were invisible or simpler in Lisp. 56 when the list was first published, because everyone now is raised either to take evolution for granted, and the weather's often bad. And to do that. If you feel exhausted, it's not the professors who decide whether you get in, but something that programs have to be on a larger scale.

Clint Capela has a Swiss bank account, right?
We have that and more in Thursday’s NBA newsletter.
Clint Capela tops my new list of the top 17 remaining NBA free agents, as his situation has yet to be resolved by the Rockets or tapped into motion via a max offer from any other team. Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Rockets offered Capela a 4-year, $85 million deal with potential bonuses bringing it to $90 million. But apparently Capela wants more like Steven Adams’ four years, $100 million. Seems reasonable.
No team can currently extend an offer that big to Capela without making other moves. Remember, the Kings do have that money that was earmarked for Zach LaVine, but that’s less than what Houston has offered Capela. The Atlanta Hawks have a little more, but don’t seem interested in playing the part of the belligerent third party making huge offers to restricted free agents. Other teams would need to open up space to roll the dice on stealing Capela away at an exorbitant price.
The real risk for Houston here, as I write in my rankings, is that Capela becomes the best player ever to take his qualifying offer in order to become an unrestricted free agent in 2019. If Capela is currently financially secure and willing to bet on health and himself -- and willing to walk away from $85 million guaranteed in hopes of a sliver more -- then he could very well do it. The market should flow much better 12 months from now.
Meanwhile, in the Dub ...
Five of the six best teams in the WNBA are in the Western Conference. Conference imbalance knows no bounds! The good news is that the WNBA has open seeding in the playoffs, so the top eight teams regardless of conference will be seeded Nos. 1-8. Right now, that’d mean five West teams and three East teams.
Meanwhile, Howard Megdal revealed his WNBA All-Star ballot. The ballot presents some tough decisions. You’re fine as long as you include Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson, and Maya Moore, though. Vote here by midnight!
Links Galore
Programming note: since the doldrums of the NBA offseason are finally here, we’re moving to a new publishing schedule for Good Morning It’s Basketball: Tuesdays and Thursdays until October, with special editions coming as the news requires it.
Department of Corrections: stale old links got sent out in Tuesday’s edition by mistake. Bummer! You can find the proper Tuesday links right here, though.
Mike Conley seems not just healthy, but superhero-ish?
Adam Silver again reiterates that he’s ready to rescind the NBA age minimum. Here’s a brief timeline of Silver’s evolution on the topic. However, for some reason, it’s going to take three years to unwind the age minimum? I’m not a lawyer, but I feel as though if any rising high school seniors or juniors wanted to sue for inclusion now they’d have something like a case.
Two great deep dives on LeBron to Los Angeles: one from Lee Jenkins and one from Ramona Shelburne. Read them.
Great story from Ricky O’Donnell on what the BIG3 is trying to be.
Two interesting notes from Joe Vardon’s piece on Collin Sexton’s nice Summer League play: Sexton and Wendell Carter played for Chris Paul’s AAU team and the Hawks offered the Cavaliers No. 3 in a deal trying to get off Kent Bazemore’s contract.
Kevin Pelton, who has a keen, trained eye, thinks Wendell Carter might have been the best big man in Vegas. Chicago has a nice little frontcourt going.
Michele Roberts is sticking around with the players’ union.
Chase Budinger is out of the NBA ... but he’s now a pro beach volleyball player! Whitney Medworth talked to him.
Zach Lowe’s free agency winners and losers.
Kevin Knox is ... good?
Marc Stein has some good points about how Carmelo Anthony could work in Houston.
The Warriors are losing their beloved head trainer Chelsea Lane, who is joining former Warriors assistant GM Travis Schlenk in Atlanta.
Tom Haberstroh on when we can expect DeMarcus Cousins back.
Jack McCallum talks to Jerry West about LeBron moving to L.A. and the history it follows.
Yao Ming, a top-10 human, graduated from college. The photos are incredible.
Gauging what LeBron would make without an individual player max by looking at Cristiano Ronaldo’s new contract.
Shea Serrano x Las Vegas Aces Live.
The story about how Stephen Curry signed off on the Warriors’ addition of DeMarcus Cousins is pretty good.
Another day, another Bill Russell middle finger. Bill Russell flipping someone off is the new NBA logo.
Maya Moore on the cover of SLAM!
Here comes Trae Young!
And finally: Kevin Durant is now using his real Instagram account to argue with teenagers online. Progress?
Be excellent to each other.
