If this were the 90s, there would be three romcoms greenlit, because of India Ria Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest's chemistry alone.

Every time I see them being all cute, I think this sucks. There won't be a season 2. We'll never see them together again.

I mean Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks had umpteen romcoms. Why can't we? Actors are literally asking for them. They are tired of doing all this dark murder shit people want to have fun at the movies.

Hollywood is wasting chemistry.

We're only like half an hour in, but so far Joe vs the Volcano feels. Chestertonian, somehow. Ex-suicide energy.

(admittedly: it also brings the one and only time I watched Office Space to mind. Hints of Fight Club. With bits of Stranger than Fiction.)

I just realized the Secret Life of Walter Mitty is basically just a less weird and more inspirational Joe Verses the Volcano.

I’m not sure how I feel about this.

This is one of my favorite movies. I can watch it again and again, and hum along with the music and laugh at all of it’s quirks.

It’s not for everyone.  A lot of people will look at this and think I’m crazy, but that’s on them.
