Look at this kid. This is a small town that is still racist, which undoubtedly means it’s still homophobic. He’s the only out kid on the whole damn show (no matter what your personal headcanons are for characters sexualities- as so far in canon, this is true). He’s brave as shit.

He’s loud, he’s outspoken, he wouldn’t be out of place gossiping with the Weasley Twins, Lee Jordan, and Angelina Johnson.

“But Amy!” You cry. “Kevin is loyal!! This is a Hufflepuff trait!!!” Yeah you know who else is loyal? Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger. The most Gryffindor to ever Gryffindor.

Let’s break out the list shall we? - Is out and proud in a homophobic town - His boyfriend is a gang member - His friends are running a murder investigation while his dad is the Sheriff - Watched Jason Blossom get shot - Worked on a construction site where a kid got attacked - Is used by closeted boys for experimentation then expected to keep it a secret

In conclusion, Kevin is a god damn Gryffindor and you all can Fight Me
