helloo! i was wondering if u could write a ot8 thats like absolutely ABSOLUTELY heart twisting i kinda have like an idea in my mind its like
they become friends with someone right? at the start its like all good then they slowly start leaving reader out she feels sad they yell at her for doing small things wrong then she ends up js accepting it she becomes closer to her other friends they get mad ar her for ignoring them then the reader js like lets everything out yk??
💚💚
OT8! Skz x Fem! Reader (special guest Mingi and Wooyoung)
Trigger warning!! Angst, Reader is depressed, crying, name calling, Reader is called clingy, annoying, etc, reader takes anti-depressants, Wooyoung thinks reader is trying to off herself
A/N → Tysm for the req!! I love this SM.
You don’t know why you even tried anymore. Every outing was the exact same. You spoke, you were ignored. You try to speak up, you were talked over. You would text in the gc but nope. Nothing. Not even a fucking thumbs. That’s because they were always talking to her. Her, her, her. You weren’t jealous but god you felt left out. Like you didn’t even fucking exist. You were tired, but yet.. you still reached out.
Tonight was the worst night ever. You had been extremely depressed and tonight you were so close to losing it. You needed someone to talk to. You sigh before grabbing your phone and opening up the gc.
—
Is anyone up..? I need someone to talk to-… -9:30pm
—
Almost instant you were met with a bunch of angry texts. “y/n no cares!!”, “Talk to someone else we don’t care.”, “Do you ever leave us alone? God you’re so clingy”, “wish you could be quiet like jio for once..”, “you should be more like jio. Not clingy and not annoying.” As you read their messages you began to cry. You threw up phone across the room causing it to shatter. You pulled your knees into your chest and cried. Your thoughts began to take over your body. You wanted to just disappear. You hated this. What did you do wrong?? You eventually cried to yourself to sleep on the couch.
The next morning you woke up feeling like shit. You stood up slowly, your eyes puffy from crying. You go to the bathroom and washed your face. As you walked out the bathroom to the living room you hear a knock on the door. You decided that instead of ignoring it you should just answer. At the door you see Mingi and Wooyoung. You looked up at them and before you could even speak you were being interrogated.
“What the hell happened to you y/n!?” “Oh my god your eyes!!” They pushed their way into your house and dragged you over to the couch and sat you down. Mingi went to make you tea while Wooyoung made soup. “I’m fine guys…” “No you’re not y/n. Don’t lie to us.” Wooyoung said as he added the carrots into the soup. Mingi walked over and sat the tea cup down before his eyes spotted your shattered phone on the floor by the tv stand across the room.
He got up and grabbed your phone. “Jesus y/n..what’s gotten into you? What happened..?” Mingi said as he faced you, his face covered with concern. “Nothing….just realized the people I thought were my everything ignoring me and ditching me like I’m nothing.” You mumble the last part like you didn’t want them to hear, but they did. They looked at you with a saddened expression.
“You don’t need them y/n..how about we take you out okay..? Take your mind off them?” Wooyoung offered as he finished making the soup and putting it in a black bowl, the smell of hot soup filling the room as he walked over to you and sat the bowl down on the table. “Thank you..” You say to Wooyoung as you inhale and take a small bite. Wooyoung and Mingi let you eat as they clean your house.
They go into the bathroom after cleaning the rest of house when Wooyoung sees an open bottle of anti-depressants on the floor..but the bottle is empty. His heart drops and he pushed Mingi out his way and stormed towards you. “Hand them over y/n! Right fucking now!!” “Woah! What are you talking about!?” “The pills! I saw them! The whole bottle is empty!! Don’t you dare even think of overdosing!! Hand them to me now damnit!!” Mingi by now had rushed downstairs and was standing by the staircase in shock.
“What!? No-!! That bottle had been empty!! I was looking for some last night but couldn’t find any-!!” The room had fallen silent afterwards before Wooyoung grabbed you and pulled you into a hug crying into your shoulder. “Let’s leave okay? You don’t need to be here..” He mumbled into your shoulder and you nodded softly. “Okay.. let’s leave..” You three left the house after you freshened up and cleaned the bathroom.
You were at a park eating ice cream and having fun. For the first time in weeks you didn’t want to cry. You felt happy, cared for, loved. You laughed loudly at Wooyoung’s stupid jokes. You had accepted that everyone in skz moved on and you didn’t care. You were finally happy away from them. Right as you three kept joking you see a group of people walking up to you.
“So this is what you do y/n? Just ditch us for other friends like we don’t exist? We’ve been calling you all day!!” You look up and see a very unhappy Seungmin and the rest of skz. “What?” “Oh don’t play dumb. Check your phone y/n! I mean cmon!” Minho snapped slightly. You were done at this point. NOW they care?! They care about you!? Not when you on the verge of losing it?! You threw your ice cream down and stood up and pushed Minho away from you.
“FUCK YOU! FUCK ALL OF YOU!! IM THE BAD FRIEND YET YOU ALL TREATED ME LIKE SHIT AND IGNORED ME!! I WAS GOING THROUGH A MANIC STATE LAST NIGHT!! ON THE VERGE OF ENDING IT AND YOU ALL DIDNT EVEN FUCKING CARE!! EAT SHIT ASSHOLES!!” You stormed off completely ignoring Wooyoung and Mingi who were calling out to you.
Eventually they caught up with you crying at a bus stop. They sat beside and hugged you.
“It’s okay..fuck them, we’re here y/n.” Mingi said softly. You nodded and hugged them back completely forgetting about skz.
A/N → kind of an unhappy ending but happy ending!! Lmk if you like it!

Hey there, Mousey! (。・ω・。)ノ♡
I saw your ask box is open, and I just couldn't resist the urge to send you a request. The way you write stories related to SDV and its mods is so captivating and reading them always brings me a sense of joy. Keep up the incredible work, and don't forget to take care of yourself.
Anywho, here is my request. Do you remember the assassin fanfic I requested before? The one about how the mages and adventurers react to the Farmer's past as a runaway assassin. Well, I thought it would be interesting to see how the RSV Bachelors & Bachelorettes would react if they discovered their spouse is a former assassin who now wants to lead a peaceful life with their younger sibling. I can just picture a funny idea that Farmer wanted to get away from anything related to assassin stuffs and they just suddenly married someone who is an assassin from The Cult, how ironic. Also, I'm thinking of maybe make the farmer as a female.
One more headcanon about Farmer as former assassin for you :3 Glad to see you again, and thanks for your kind words and for the ask! 💖
_________________________________________
Daia and Jio felt sorry for Farmer. Not only was her childhood taken away to teach her how to do dirty jobs, fight and kill (Daia knows better than anyone what it's like), but the bad guys did it too. Both cult members kill corrupt politics and monsters, and Farmer had to work for those worse than the monsters. This also explains to the grumpy elf how the simple farmer was able to masterfully deal with Gabriella's henchmen. Nevertheless, both admire Farmer's endurance and sacrifice for the sake of her siblings. Daia promises to help Farmer if the mafia members show up, and Jio promises himself that he'll stab the bastards in the neck with his katana.
Tears would start streaming down Ysabelle, Alissa, Flor and Irene's cheeks, and the girls would whimper quietly. How can people be so cruel and disgusting - intimidating a literal child, making them do nasty jobs, threatening her younger siblings if she start to protest. The girls' hearts are broken into a thousand shards, and they don't know what to do. Flor and Irene will silently hug Farmer as they continue to cry, and Ysabelle can calm herself down. All of yours will comfort Farmer and tell her that she's the best older sister for her younger siblings, for not abandoning them and fighting for their freedom and her own.
Blair, Faye and Maddie will also start crying, but loudly, kicking grass, empty soda cans - anything that gets under their feet, cursing bandits and mobs as hard as they can. Roaring and cursing (not at Farmer, of course), and when they run out of strength after the rage, the lab assistant and the fisherwoman throw themselves on Farmer's neck, sobbing. If the Farmer needs help, she can rely on her friends.
Fuck... Bryle knows Farmer! He was familiar with the case, as members of the mob had once tried to organize an assassination attempt on the Governor before. He wasn't working as a bodyguard at the time, but he had studied the gang and their past so there wouldn't be another assassination attempt. And he remembers there was a kid. It... was HER? Oh, Yoba, that's fucked up... He's sorry. No, he's not giving them up. Bryle realizes she was forced to do this. He's given fair warning tho, that if Farmer's past is revealed, his hands will be tied. But he promises to protect Farmer's siblings and help her through the situation as much he can.
Sean, Philip, Ian, and Jeric first thought Farmer was talking about her role as an 'assassin' in some TV show, and immediately got excited. Philip even started asking if it was from his favorite TV show, which was an adaptation of the comic book. But when Farmer explained that she was hiding from the real mafia, the smiles on all the men's faces fell instantly. How.. is this possible. Yoba, that's horrible... They're glad that Farmer was able to free herself from those bastards and save the siblings, but... What if the mafia members come here for revenge? They want to help Farmer, but none of these candidates know exactly how.
Paula, Kenneth, Shiro, and Corine listened intently to Farmer, from beginning to end, when it all started, how her parents were killed by mobs, and how she did the dirty jobs of criminals until her escape. After the story was over, each of them would hug them silently, comforting Farmer. Paulo and Corine are very combative personalities, and are ready to help in any way they can if one of the tourist who's visited the Valley, turns out to be their former "coworker", Kenneth as well. Shiro isn't too confident in his abilities due to his injury, but vows that he will protect her siblings just as he would protect his family.
Zayne is.. speechless. He's heard that the Republic Mafia is known for their cold-blooded methods and bribing important people (they even tried to bribe/intimidate his Grandfather once! With no luck). But this... Words cannot express to the future head of the Amethyne family how sorry he is for what happened to Farmer and her sisters/brothers. If the bandits show up here, then let Farmer feel free to ask Zayne for help. She and her siblings are to him as family, and whoever infringes on his family may regret bitterly... Everything will be legal, of course, or else he'll be no better those bandits.
June was familiar with members of the mafia. No, he didn't do business with them, nor did he intend to, but some of the mobs were fans of the music gang he was a member of. One had even had him play a solo at mob's birthday party, but only because the pianist was afraid of the mob's wrath if he refused. Luckily, he and his gang were able to move far away from them, and he's glad that Farmer was able to escape them too. He's afraid to even imagine what his friend had to go through to keep her siblings alive and save.
Kiarra and Anton nearly choked on air once the meaning of Farmer's words reached them. How? How did this even happen? Kiara would especially resent Farmer's parents for dragging their own family into a criminal organization. Anton, on the other hand, would stare silently into his mug of cider, not knowing how to react or how to comfort Farmer. They in no way blame Farmer and will offer a helping hand if she need help caring for her siblings.

#𝙀𝘿𝘿𝙄𝙀 𝙑𝙀𝘿𝘿𝙀𝙍: 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭 (𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝟮)
» summary: you were an architect in seattle, and one of the things kept you sane was your rockstar friends. one day, they found a new singer to their new band and you went to listen to them.
» word count: 2.4k
» warnings: fluff, some angst, grammar issues
» inspired by sarah jio’s always novel.
» part 1
— october, 1990
"fuck, fuck, fuck... fuck!" you yelled at yourself when the file you've been working for 7 hours closed without saving it. you didn't forget to save it, your computer just froze for a couple of minutes. you were waiting patiently, but suddenly, your computer shut down.
you suddenly heard someone knocking on the wall. "hey! can't you be quiet?" it was your next-door neighbor stone. you sighed and grabbed your things, wore a coat and left the home. he heard that you were leaving and he opened to door.
"hey, sorry for yelling. is everything alright?" he asked gently.
"no, my project's gone forever. i have to start from the beginning. and my ass hurts from sitting straight. guess i'm going out for a walk now."
"hey, stop by on the way home, and bring some snacks!" you heard jeff's excited voice and you couldn't help but chuckle.
"damn, you really need a new computer." he said playfully.
"yeah, you don't need to remind me." you rolled your eyes and waved at him then left the building. it wasn't raining to your surprise, but the weather still was cold. you moved here 6 years ago but still couldn't get used to the atmosphere of the city. you missed hot california days.
you were walking with heavy steps. thinking about which excuse you should try on your boss tomorrow. you weren't like this. you were actually pretty punctual and disciplined at your work. but your ancient computer started to make things worse for you. and your current goal was buying a new computer.
you entered a market and bought some snacks for you and the boys. after about 25 minutes you were in front of their door. your cheeks were red as tomato. stone would sure make fun of it while jeff would say you look cute. and that's what happened.
"cut it out, stone. i went for forgetting about my problems but you yourself creating a problem for me" you said playfully while lying on their couch.
"did you go for finding excuses for your boss but realized that you used them all on him?" he smirked at you. damn, he really knew you well.
he was the first person you met in the city. you would just say good morning and good night when you encountered. it was until you were coming home with a large cardboard for your project. he was behind you and it fell on him accidently. you apologized continuously but he offered to help you with your project instead. that's how you became close.
one day a band named green river asked him to play guitar at their band. and that's how you met with jeff after. after two years he established a band called mother love bone. they were amazing and sure they had a huge impact on the grunge scene. everything was great until a couple of months ago, until andy's death. it hit all of you pretty hard, especially chris and love bone guys. you all knew that he was addicted but none of you saw it coming.
it took a while to guys recover. stone and jeff got into music again. they got together with stone's friend from high school, mike and matt from soundgarden. but matt couldn't fully commit to this new band due to playing with his band. after the audition, the guys asked to dave play with them. he agreed and they were looking for a singer now. all the guys who auditioned tried to sound like andy, but nobody could sound like him and they were looking for something unique.
you three were chilling and watching some TV currently. it helped you forget about your problems a little, it was until mike came with a tape.
"i have good news for you!" he cheered after jeff opened the door for him. "what is it?" stone asked mike.
"so i talked with jack, and he gave our demo to his friend, eddie. and he wrote lyrics for three songs. i got excited and listened to it alone and i'm telling you, we have to hire that guy!"
"woah woah, slow down there. let us listen to it first. hey, what time is it by the way?" stone asked.
"it's almost 6 pm" jeff answered and you gasped. "oh my, i won't make it through..." you whined. "what is it?" mike asked.
"i was working on my new project and my computer suddenly shut down, i'm so done with it but i have no choice but to continue with it." you answered.
"jeez, why don't you ask to borrow ours? the program you use is already on the computer. and i'm pretty sure ours's better than yours." stone suggested with sass. you rolled your eyes at him and watched him give you his computer and charger of it. "thanks, i'll return it in the early morning. bye, y'all!" you went to the door but mike called you from behind.
"wait, aren't you gonna listen to him?" showing the tape, you shook your head and gave an apologetic smile to them. "i already lost so much time, and i'm willing more to listen to him on live. it's like a surprise to me, yeah?"
after leaving their apartment you entered yours and got to work again.
after minutes, you swore you heard a familiar voice from the walls. "it must be their new singer..." you wandered to yourself.
a couple of weeks passed and this night, they were gonna play their first show with eddie. you wondered how he looked and sounded like. you loved making little surprises for yourself. you needed them for not to drown in this city.
after another exhausting day, you went to your home and took a quick shower then got ready for their show and left. when you were at the place, you saw soundgarden guys and went next to them. matt was smiling at you. "he has a great voice, don't you think so?" he asked. you shrugged, "i've never listened him, i refused. that's gonna be a surprise for me, you know?" he rolled his eyes at you playfully. then the show started. and oh,
oh...
that sure was a surprise to you, a big surprise.
you totally weren't expecting to see the love of your life on the stage. you recognized him immediately. your heart clenched watching him. he was looking gorgeous like he used to look 6 years ago. and his baritone voice... you remembered how he would play songs on an acoustic guitar and sing to you with his unique voice.
you missed him, you missed him so much. you couldn't get him out of your head, you didn't want to. you wanted everything to stay inside your head. you suddenly wondered if he was still remembering you. maybe he thought that he meant nothing to you so he got you out of his head. you hoped he didn't. but you didn't know how to face him. you knew you had to, he was in your friends' band now, after all.
your eyes met suddenly. your heart was beating like crazy. and you felt that your palms were sweating. he then looked away. you lowered your head.
did he remember you or he was just mad at you? you couldn't help but caress your locket. he was probably mad and found someone else.
when their show ended, you were smiling at them and clapping loudly like everyone else. they all were looking compatible together. you were happy for stone and jeff, and you knew they were going to be an impactful band.
instead of going backstage, you went outside. you could meet eddie tomorrow or another day. you just wanted to calm your clenching heart.
so you went to the exit without attracting attention. but when you looked at the stage for the last time, you saw eddie looking at you. you gulped and went outside.
after about twenty minutes, you were ready to go home, take a hot shower, wear your comfy pyjamas, and then sleep. but your plans fell through when you saw stone was dragging eddie to where you were standing.
"[name], this is our new singer, eddie." he turned his face to him. "and eddie, this is my next-door neighbor, [name]. but i suppose you already know each other. time to break the ice between you two!" he then left you two alone.
he knew, he god damn knew that eddie was your ex (you didn't know honestly what you two are). you would show him your photos with him and cry on his shoulder and telling him how much you missed him. of course he knew he was your ex when he first time saw him live. he probably wanted you two to meet again and break the ice.
"you were amazing at there." you started the conversation. he answered with a simple thanks. and you two went silent. an uncomfortable one.
"how did you find seattle?"
"not good, i guess. i used to live in sunny weather. i already missed old, hot, california days."
you smiled to yourself. "yeah, and i miss old chicago days." when you mentioned chicago, his face got serious. maybe because he had bad memories from there. the memories he wishes he could forget about.
"i don't care about chicago anymore." you were kinda hurt by his words but what could you say?
"eddie..."
"don't, don't start." he shut his eyes. your face dropped at his move. "look, you're just a great friend of my friends. that's what you are to me, nothing more." he coldly said and he turned his direction at the door.
"you don't even wanna listen the story from my point of view and that's not even fair!" you suddenly yelled at him. and made him look at you.
"after our first date, i thought i gave you my number. but instead, i actually gave you my house's number. and guess what? my family moved to michigan after i started college, and of course, they changed their number. i always wondered why you weren't calling me. i got furious and hurt. but then i realized that i gave you the wrong number.
after i finished the second semester, the first thing i've done was go to chicago and look for you. i asked some surfer guys about you, i asked musicians at the various bars, i looked for you. and finally learned that you went to south california not much after i left. i felt hopeless, but i never stopped loving you eddie, never. i don't know if it's even possible but i fell in love with you more."
you showed your locket and carefully opened inside. and his facial expression got soft when he saw the green seashell he gifted to you. "i never got you out of my head, i never got you out of my neck too." you then closed it and looked at him again. "i love you eddie, i've never stopped."
you saw his eyes watered and he just pressed his lips hard against each other. "i thought, i thought i was your little toy."
you shaked your head and smiled at him. "like i said, you're more than a summer love to me." he looked at you. you could see regret from things he told you just now and longing. oh how much he wanted to hold you tightly and cry on your shoulder.
so he did, and you hugged him back. he was mumbling "i'm sorry, you know i actually care about chicago. it's the place we met after all. and you know you're more than a friend's friend to me. i love you, i never stopped loving you either. i thought you lied to me. i was furious but still continued to love you. i couldn't help it. i love you so much."
you were caressing his back gently. after he calmed down, you connected your foreheads. "i'm here and you're here from now on. we're here together." you whispered. he smiled, "and we will make new good memories together here." he responded. you rolled your eyes playfully. "this city isn't the best, but i believe we can make everything look good."
he nodded and looked at your lips. he wanted to kiss you so bad. but before you let him do so, you connected your lips instead. the kiss was full of longing and love.
after a couple of seconds, you heard someone's whistle at the back. when you two faced them they were clapping. of course, they were your friends. "don't you have to do something better?!" you yelled at them irritated.
"let's go inside." he smiled at you and intertwined your hands together.
— 2005
"so that's how me and daddy started dating again." you finished your story. your daughter's eyes got watered and you looked at her worriedly. "baby, what's wrong?" you quickly wiped her tears away.
"i-i'm just thinking *sob* what if daddy never actually recorded those demos? what if uncle stone never hired him? *sob* what would happen?"
"oh baby," you stood up from your chair and let her hug you from behind. not wanting to hurt her little brother, andy. you caressed her hair and kneeled carefully for planting a kiss on her forehead.
"we would find each other, no matter when. i promise, we're destined to be together forever. and you're destined to be our firstborn. i promise nothing would change."
you then heard someone opening the door. it was your husband. he put the groceries down and looked at you. "I'm home!" he cheered. your daughter ran to him quickly and wrapped her arms around his legs. he then kneeled to hold her up.
"what's wrong, princess?" he asked worriedly and then looked at you. you just smiled and went next to him, lying your head on his shoulder. his one arm was holding your daughter while his other hand was wrapped around your waist.
"i-i just love you so much, daddy. i love mommy so much too. i'm happy that i was born as your daughter." he laughed and kissed her cheek. "we love you so much too, princess. and don't ever think that we're gonna love andy more. we'll love you both equally. and our love for you two will never change."

BCCI’s Lollipop to the IOC - Turning Cricket into a Global Sport
Cricket, a sport with a staggering fan base of 2.5 billion people worldwide (According to Sport Pledge) is making significant strides towards Olympic inclusion. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has been actively pushing for cricket's inclusion in the Olympic Games, with the ambition to debut at the LA28 Games. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), led by Jay Shah, has played a pivotal role in this endeavor. The Sportwiz explores the journey of cricket towards becoming a global sport, driven by the aspirations of the ICC and the strategic efforts of the BCCI.
source - IOC
Cricket has been making notable appearances in various multi-sport events, such as the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022 and the Asian Games in 2010, 2014, and the upcoming 2023 edition in Hangzhou, Even this years African Games hosted in Ghana will consist of cricket where it will be played in the T20 format. These inclusions highlight the growing recognition and acceptance of cricket as a global sport.
source - ICC
The question arises: Does the Olympics need cricket, or does cricket need the Olympics? Cricket's immense popularity, with a fan base of 2.5 billion people and its status as the second most-watched sport globally, demonstrates the sport's strength and appeal. However, Olympic inclusion would provide an unparalleled platform for cricket to reach new audiences and further boost its global recognition.
source - business today
The ICC's bid for Olympic inclusion emphasized the massive viewership cricket attracts. The 2022 T20 World Cup garnered a staggering 1.2 billion unique viewers globally. Additionally, the 2020 Women's World Cup saw 89 million viewers tuning in, showcasing the increasing popularity of women's cricket. These statistics exemplify cricket's potential as a major draw for broadcasters, sponsors, and fans alike.
India's significance as a cricket powerhouse cannot be overlooked. The country accounts for a substantial portion of cricket's global viewership, with 76% of the 113.5 million viewing hours recorded during major tournaments coming from India. The BCCI, backed by India's massive cricket market, has offered the International Olympic Committee (IOC) a chance to tap into this unique viewership, potentially elevating the Olympic Games' viewership in the Indian subcontinent.
source - InsideSport.in
The BCCI's main revenue stream, broadcasting rights, presents a compelling proposition for the IOC. Currently held by JIO and Viacom 18 for $31 million, these rights contribute to the ongoing profits of the Olympics. If cricket is included in the Olympics, the ICC estimates potential revenue of $130-260 million. These figures highlight the financial gains that could be achieved through cricket's Olympic participation.
The number $31 million USD is larger than the previous years in terms of Olympics in India but if we compare it to a similar number showcasing the money that’s involved in cricket, in the next financial cycle of the BCCI the Pakistan Cricket board ( PCB ) who hold a share of 5.75% is approximately valued at $34.5 million USD.
PCB Chairperson Mr Najam Sethi

Cricket's economic value has witnessed a remarkable surge, as evidenced by the 300% increase in media rights value for ICC and IPL. The media rights for ICC and IPL soared from ₹16,347 crores to a staggering ₹48,390 crores. This exponential growth further solidifies cricket's position as a lucrative sporting asset.
source - Sportskeeda
With the Indian Premier League (IPL) now ranked as the second most valued sporting league globally, cricket's future looks promising. The IPL's substantial viewership of 380 million domestic TV viewers in the 2021 season and cumulative viewership of 383 billion minutes for the 2020 campaign across TV and digital platforms indicate cricket's enormous potential according to Jay Shah. As cricket continues to captivate audiences, its inclusion in the Olympics could propel the sport to new heights.
The bid to include cricket in the Olympics is anticipated to be decided in the final session of the IOC, scheduled to take place in Mumbai in October. Brisbane 2032 Olympics presents a realistic opportunity for cricket's inclusion, given Australia's cricketing heritage. Surprisingly, Los Angeles may also be a potential host, thanks to the approval of the bid by former Mayor Eric Garcetti, now the US Ambassador to India, fostering stronger relations between India and the USA.

Cricket's journey towards becoming a global sport is gaining momentum, with the ICC and BCCI leading the way. The sport's immense viewership, economic value, and potential for growth make it an attractive addition to the Olympic Games. As the IOC contemplates cricket's inclusion, the world awaits a decision that could redefine the sport and pave the way for a future where cricket becomes truly global.

Hello there! I've been looking through your Stardew Valley and mods headcanons and I really like them! Especially the Ridgeside Village ones, I adore everyone in that mod sm, especially my boy Jio <3
Anywayss speaking of Ridgeside, could you do like "What Ridgeside Village bachelor/bachelorettes would think or do if their child with the farmer wanted to become a fighter"? I hope thats not an odd request lol, I'd mostly like to see what Jio would think, cause again, love that guy, but I love all the romancables in that mod too so they can all be on here :]
Hewwo :3
Thank you for your kind words, dear anon! And don't worry, your ask is completely fine ☺️ Enjoy some more headcanons with Ridgeside Village, and have a good day! 💖
_________________________________________
RSV bachelors:
"Then, my child, I will be your teacher. Starting tomorrow. Be ready." No questions, no hesitation - Jio is ready to teach his and Farmer's child hand-to-hand combat and the use of blades. What? Fighter or not, the kid would benefit from knowing self-defence techniques anyway, the elf thinks.
Shiro will be a little confused. Does his child mean a career as a fighter in boxing, or in the army? Either way, he would support his kid in their endeavours, but before doing so, he would sit down with them and give them fair warning of the difficulties that might await them and what they might face. Especially if his and Farmer's child had a military career in mind.
"Sure about that, kiddo?" Considering Bryle's profession and Farmer's adventures with monster battles, the bodyguard wasn't too surprised at their kid's choice. Heh, the little one had a fighting temper from childhood. Well, then he'd sign them up for a kickboxing class if that's what they wanted, and show them a couple of moves from his arsenal himself.
"Our little one certainly has your spirit, dear." Jeric, as a caring father, would naturally be worried about his and Farmer's kid, who would be enthusiastic about going to their first boxing lessons, but later Jeric would calm down afterwards, and would soon be proud of the baby's progress. His child defeated their opponent, well done! Woohoo!
Well, if Kenneth's child is determined to be exactly a fighter, then he will not prevent them. After all, it will help his child become physically developed, strong and tough, and gain self-defence skills. So he gives the go-ahead, taking the kid's word that they won't start fights at school.
"I hope you're not talking about underground fights." June has turned on slightly protective dad mode, but he needs to know for sure that his kid meant relatively safe fights with certain rules, not the suspicious no-holds-barred fighting establishments that the movies like to romanticise. Plus don't forget about safety! As it is, he's fine with their choice of hobby.
Zayne was at a loss for words at his child's statement. Are they... exactly sure this is what they want to do? No, not that the head of the Amethyne family is adamantly against it, it's just that all this violence and blood... Well, if that's what they desires, so be it. Zayne would be proud of them, even though he doesn't fully understand his kid's passion.
A bit of an unusual choice, but Sean isn't too worried about it, to be honest. Because his and Farmer's kid is still young: today they want to be a fighter, and tomorrow they'll probably ask to sign up for painting or dancing. If that's the final decision, well, he'll support them in their endeavours.
"What? Wait, are you serious?" It's not that Ian is against his kid playing sports, but a boxing specifically? Is it because of the TV shows with fights they've been watching recently with their friends? He's not too keen on the idea, but will relent if his kid really wants to. The important thing is that they keep safety in mind.
Philip had to watch those kickboxing programmes sometimes, and the kind of injuries the contestants could get a bit scary, physical therapist thinks. He carefully approaches with this conversation to his kid, wanting to know if they really want to be a fighter.
"Sweetie, I don't think it's a good idea for you..." Anton sighed tiredly as his child pouted after those words and said that he didn't understand anything. Maybe he didn't understand, but he did worry about them, just like he worried about his spouse when they went off on adventures. Sigh, it's going to be a very long conversation.
RSV bachelorettes:
"All right, sweetie! So, fistfight or swordfight?" Honestly, what is there to be surprised about: Daia herself is a ninja (from the Cult, but shhh!), and Farmer is a part-time adventurer in addition to their day job. So kid's desire to fight (albeit in the ring, as they've explained to their parents) doesn't surprise Daia or her spouse. "So it's a fist fight. Hmm..." Then Daia will help her child get some skills.
"Oh, no no no no! Why do you need all this... violence? If you want exercise, how and football?" Faye initially reacted rather harshly to the child's plea to become a fighter and start attending classes as she thinks they are cruel for their kid. It will take time before the waitress comes to terms with the child's determination and doesn't stop patronising them too much, but she's just worried!
Similar to Faye's situation, Irene isn't too fazed by her child's eagerness to get involved in fights where teeth can be knocked out, fractures given or - Yoba forbid! - something worse. She'll calm down too, but always gives her child a small first aid kit, water, and anything else they'll need if they happen to get injured at practice.
"Sure thing, dear! Should I sign you up for a class already?" Blair's child was overjoyed that their mother not only allowed them, but even helped them pick a good place to start their training. They'll definitely get some healthy exercise, and yes, she believes in them. Everything's gonna be okay, the fisherwoman believes.
A fighter? Hmm, okay, Paula sees nothing wrong with their energetic child wanting to pursue such a hobby. But the army doctor will insist that her kid should learn from her how to properly give first aid to themself and others, to make sure they can give/recive help if there is some kind of emergency.
*Gasp!* A fighter? Why a fighter exactly? Maybe Alissa could suggest some other exciting sporting activity for them? Running or football? Oh, they... Alissa just doesn't accept all this violence, and she's scared to imagine her and Farmer's child in that situation. But if that's what they want...
"Being a fighter isn't easy. But if that's what you desire, we can sign you up for boxing classes." Corine is quite confident that her dear child can stand up for themself, she's just giving fair warning of what they can expect during training and competition.
Maddie was shocked, to say the least. "No way.Period." She certainly didn't like the idea of her kid swinging fists and potentially getting injuries, some of which could be lifelong. Considering the lab assistant is stubborn, Farmer and their kiddo will have a bit of a hard time convincing her.
Flor would wonder if it was because of action films and other programmes on television that their child suddenly made a statement like that. Though on the other hand, martial arts and boxing would help their child develop stamina, health and fortitude. Still, the red-haired girl will suggest sports less traumatic than fighting.
When Ysabelle's and Farmer's kid blurts out that "I want to be a fighter," she will ask everyone to have a family talk. The conversation won't be long, but she will clearly explain with Farmer to the kid what might await them in fights and whether they really want it. If not, she will offer them an alternative. If the kid insists, she'll allow it, but she'll worry periodically about every scratch they got in training.
"Wow, that's some fighting spirit!" The most important thing for Kiarra is that her and Farmer's dear kid actually want this and will be happy. Sure, she'll worry sometimes, but thanks to a good teacher, first aid lessons and safety rules, the graphic design doesn't worry too much about her kid.
