The Jester Bats Gargoyle AU

A little something I wanna do for the for the next few months or so. No big story rn or scheduled updates.

Story:

Gargoyles and some other creatures exist in this world. They can alter their fur to have a rock-pattern camouflage and separate wings that act as extra hands. Gargoyles have recently been discovered, but their numbers are shrinking due to habitat loss. Specialty zoos and conservation areas are set up to help threatened species. Typically, the animals are held temporary until they can be safely relocated or healed from injuries.

In the Fazzbeast Conservation Zooplex, there are three permanent Jester gargoyles. Sunrise was found after a hurricane under a tree, his wings torn from the branches. He can’t fly, but can jump, climb, and glide somewhat. Eclipse was found caught in a machine and had her leg amputated. She’s outfitted with a prosthetic that people are trying to make as real as possible. Finally, Moon was found with an aggressive strain of White-Nose Syndrome. They’re receiving treatment, but it will need constant care so they aren’t infectious.

(white-nose syndrome is a real disease affecting bats, but i may take some liberties for this story)

Sunrise is cheery and loves the kids that visit the zoo part, but he’s prone to anxiety and hates storms. Sometimes tries to find other ways to fly with various results. He was given a matching hat like the other two, but stopped wearing it because it got hot.

Eclipse is friendly and enjoys hanging out with the other two permanent gargoyles, but can be overly cautious. She likes testing out the different prosthetics she gets, but doesn’t like the surprises some have. She knows how to read.

Moondrop is usually chill, but can show to be aggressive when they feel threatened. The resident Escape Artist, they’re constantly getting out of their area to explore, eat their favourite candy moondrops, and even stopped a break in. They’ve become an unofficial security guard.

Still unsure if they can talk to humans or have their own language.

People can ask questions for art responses. Sometimes I might doodle my own ideas for them

yippee!!! got a LOT of doodles for sticker orders done on stream, and we got the rest of the stickers that needed to be packed together and labeled! :D there’s a special edition monty in the mix for noogit, who was in stream while i was working on it ^^ first (successful) attempt at drawing gator boy, and i’m pretty happy with how he turned out!

i’ll be working on more doodles throughout the week! i have about 7 i can send out after a few final bits, but i’ve gotta print more of my freebie stickers (i’m out of sundrops and moondrops!!! AAA) for the rest!

I do not, unfortunately! I think the closest I’ve gotten are the really cool lil versions of me that @pinkcottonwood and @phoebepheebsphibs have drawn. I will forever be in awe of the fact they’ve drawn me lol.
