And now it’s time for something I know will get me kicked off of Twitter! lol
While I’m glad to see Marvel moving towards quality over quantity again (if not solely cause Iger put Feige on a leash), I feel like there’s one last thing they need to do; if Marvel is going to employ writers from Rick and Morty, can they please be more selective about which ones they hire?
Yeah, I know that a lot of times, getting writing gigs in Hollywood is based on clout or who you know (a.k.a. nepotism). And yeah, I get that hiring people who worked on a show that deals with multiverse shenanigans on the regular sounds good in theory. The problem is that Marvel hasn’t exactly picked the cream of the crop, have they?
At best, they’re arrogant and idiotic, like Michael Waldron. At worst, they’re obnoxious and immature, like Jessica Gao. Jeff Loveness seems to be the most mature of the bunch, but based on what I’ve heard about Quantumania (which I haven’t seen, yet), he might suffer from “wokeitis” and “tonal whiplash”, you know, the signs of a mediocre writer.
Bottom line, I think Marvel needs to consider a writers credentials before giving them the keys to a specific group of characters. But that’s just me.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (Season One) Review
Defiantly screwball, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law bolster the ranks of the MCU with another green giant who rivals Deadpool for 4th wall breaks. #Review

Sensational She-Hulk #1 Review: Marvel's Best Romance Comic Is Back
Rainbow Rowell and Andrés Genolet are back in action with Sensational She-Hulk #1 from Marvel. And despite the new number one, it's more of the best romance book on the stands.

We finally got Colin to watch She-Hulk! Or, at least 10 minutes of it. That’s right, the newest installment of “10 Minute Takes” is on the one MCU project that we figured Colin might actually enjoy. Check out episode 222 to hear how he felt!

Also, side note, but am I the only one who thinks Jessica Gao might be a bit psychotic?
I mean, if the Assembled episode for She-Hulk is any indication, she threatened to burn down Marvel Studios (which need I remind you, is inside a building encompassing other studios and divisions owned by Disney, not just Marvel)...and somehow got the job regardless.
Like, I’m sorry, I’m even if she was kidding, how exactly did she not get security called on her for that!? Like if I was the head of development for Marvel and she said that to me, I would’ve kicked her off of/banned her from the premises and threaten to blackball her if she tried anything in retaliation.
I know people in Hollywood are crazy, but crazy can sometimes attract the worst kind of people...and sometimes those people need to be put in their place. I’m just saying.

The party wasn't a chaotic mess like the last one thrown at the Flop House, but maybe that was a good thing.
The Founders of Plumwell were all getting a little older and settling down.
Regardless, everyone had a good time catching up with each other and hanging out.
