Found some art of Jeran Borodere from the Neopets "How to Draw Neopets" Book that was published in 2008. I bought a copy so i could scan it in, and get this picture! It doesnt appear anywhere else on the site, so i figured it's get it on the internet. I photographed the lineart, and had to manually recolor and shade it as accurately as i could to the print image. The printer they went with left very patchy colors, so i simply had to redo it. Anyway. A lil slice of video game preservation here. (there are a number of other pages from the book that have unique art, but im not going through all this effort for them too! haha) According to the book, the art is done by the Neopets Art Team. :) not me!

So here's a fun thing i observed today. Sir Jeran Borodere may have been planned to be blind in his left eye? This is a picture of his TCG card fromt he Battle for Meridell set. He clearly has a healed scar on his left side, a chunk of his eyebrow missing, and a greyed out pupil with cataracts. Also notible, his sword is broken in his left hand, and his armor with a huge hole in it. WHAT IN FYORA DID THEY PUT THIS POOR MAN THROUGH?
