Stray Kids as Greek mythological figures

Which heroes/ creatures/ gods i think are similar to Stray Kids.

I was thinking of expanding these into full fics, let me know what you think

Bang Chan

Heracles, demigod, son of Zeus and Alcmene. The most famous hero of all Greece and the one most appreciated. His death was commemorated through an official festival. Very strong and brave, I think he suits Channie perfectly. Charismatic just like our leader and very respected and feared.

Lee Know

Hades, god and king of the underworld. Eldest of three sons. just like Lee Know can seem quite cold and scary on the outside but is actually a good person. In myths Hades is never depicted negatively and always preferred to maintain balance. Technically entering the underworld was forbidden for mortals but there are many stories of heroes going back and forth and Hades did not raise a finger and let them be. A scary looking man with a good heart like Lee Know.

Changbin

Atlas, titan of endurance. Punished by Zeus and condemned to hold up the sky for eternity. Really strong and muscly and could probably throw people around like they weighed nothing. Changbin said he bench presses 150kg roughly, which makes him able to lift the average person and I think he could totally hold up the heavens.

Hyunjin

Adonis, human. The most beautiful man in the whole Greece and the blueprint of what a man should have looked like back then. Lover of Aphrodite, the literal goddess of beauty and love. Could pull men and women, which is perfect for Hyunjin because that man is so beautiful inside and out that nobody can resist him.

Han

Alchys, personification of sadness and desperation. I know what you’re thinking about, Han is a very generally bubbly person on the outside but we all know he struggles deeply with mental health and anxiety. As somebody with the same struggles I can say that this fits pretty well. ( I am not saying in any way that he is defined by his struggles)

Felix

Apollo, god of the sun, music, poetry and art. One of the younger gods, a little spicy and definitely queer. Was said to be so bright that looking at him was like looking into the sun. Couldn’t not think of our sunshine Lixie, our shiny baby who is definitely more than a little mischievous.

Seungmin

Thrasos, personification of courage and insolence. Like Seungmin and his sharp tongue, this deity is not afraid to speak even when they shouldn’t. Courageous in a reckless sense, which fits perfectly because I would never dare to back talk Bang Chan when he is mad but I have a hunch that Seungmin would.

Jeongin

Dionysus, god of wine, fruits, insanity and fertility. Very sensual and mischievous, like our maknae lately. Widely appreciated in the whole of Greece, his parties were very alluring and freeing in way. Able to “hypnotize” you with his charisma which explains why everybody loves Innie so much.

Having the Nokken uniforms meant that the recon task force could begin plans to finally enter the target building. While making their breach, they could appear as two Nokken soldiers if they were seen. Once inside, it was likely that workers within had different uniforms to signify their authorization for whatever was going on inside.

Maven only hoped the Nokken gear wouldn't be too heavy, since it was looking like they would be entering through the runoff pipes.

Analysts at University Station had been examining the images of the machinery that the Nokken had brought through the portal and into the target building. According to Lieutenant Seo, they'd identified tables and basic computational equipment, cabinets and average—if industrial and uncomfortable-looking—pieces of furniture. Everything else—hundreds of boxes, dozens of other large machines—everything else remained unidentified.

VALOR feared that the facility was to be used for large-scale weapons development. Their hope was that Maven and Seungmin could retrieve the blueprints and specifications on the weapon designs. Becoming aware of exactly the technology used in Nokken warfare could give VALOR the advantage on their strengths and weaknesses.

After being debriefed by Agent Hwang and Lieutenant Seo, Maven and Seungmin were released to rest and catch up on the sleep they'd lost in infiltrating the Nokken portal site at 2 o'clock in the morning. They had a few hours of downtime before reconvening in the conference room.

Maven peeled off her gear and claimed the shower before Seungmin could lift himself from his own bed after tossing himself on it, fully armored. The hot water washed away all of the dirt and grime, as well as much of the ravaging anger that had been coiling tightly in her muscles.

Scrubbing away the morning's grime, she let the anger go. He'd hurt her. He'd burned her. He'd betrayed and abandoned her. And there she was; she'd entered his prized training school, she'd graduated, and she'd caught up to his rank in a year.

Her heart was finally healing, she had money, means, and a personal network. She had everything he had, plus the moral high ground.

As Maven crawled between her cool sheets, hearing Seungmin turn the water on for his own shower, she found herself actually able to put him out of her mind.

She hadn't heard from Jennie or Jia since she'd arrived at University Station. She wondered how their first days as Special Agents had been going.

"Reporting for inspection." Maven strode into the Armory with both of the equipment bags, searching the busy room for their case agent. Techs swarmed the munitions shelves and workbenches, taking inventory, repairing gear, and cleaning equipment.

All of them wore matching blue lab coats.

Maven picked an empty table in the front of the room and set the bags down, still scanning.

She found him only when he popped up from behind a shelf, eyes brightening at the sight of her.

"Agent Spanaway," He greeted on approach. The smile he wore was half flustered, half excited. "Good to see you, how's it been?"

Maven flushed under his attentive stare and grinned back, pushing the bags toward him. "It is what it is, how about you?"

Agent Lee Felix briskly unzipped the bags and extracted the rifles, laying them on top of the canvas they came in. "Same old, same old. Just gotta make it to the weekend." He flashed her a wry smirk.

Maven crossed her arms, watching in interest. "You live local, or on site?"

"Oh, I'm local. Born and raised."

Maven tried not to let that affect her opinion of him too much, but she couldn't help the way her stomach twisted. "That's a shame, I liked you before you said that."

Felix's face colored slightly. "It's not so bad here. We've got great barbecue."

"I'm sure it's somebody's cup of tea."

"Agent Spanaway," Lieutenant Seo appeared out of nowhere the second Maven arrived upstairs. He towered over her by at least half a foot, and seemed to insist upon standing so close that he had to stare down his nose at her. "In your opinion, how is your operation going?"

Maven blinked at him in confusion. He had been present for all of their briefings and debriefings. It made no sense that he had any questions left, particularly of so general a nature. "Sir?"

The overbearing agent looked impatient. "In our meetings and your reports, you've deferred to Agent Kim as the senior agent. You haven't put any of your personal impressions on record."

Lieutenant Seo had never offered her any special attention, either in the special training school, or afterwards as their S.O. for Almost Summer. His cornering her in the conference room to ask her how she felt about the operation looked to her like a trap.

He knew about her history with Seungmin. If he was trying to get her to complain about him or indicate an inability to conduct a professional life separate from her personal one, she had no interest in stepping on the throat of her own career.

"It is my belief that Almost Summer is on schedule precisely as Captain Lee intended for it to be. Following our surveillance missions, I believe we're almost ready to breach the target." She poured herself a cup of coffee.

When Seo didn't move away from her elbow, she turned and met his eyes expectantly.

He was still looking for more.

"And your work with Agent Kim? Do you find your arrangement to be conducive to mission success?"

Conducive to mission success.

Maven's eyebrows rose.

Did she think her partnership with Kim Seungmin would interfere with the integrity of the operation? Only if she killed him before they were finished. She sipped from her chipped mug. "Agent Kim and I used to work surveillance missions when we were petty officers. We worked well then, and its certainly set us up for success. Almost Summer has been unhindered by this arrangement."

Lieutenant Seo got rid of the hospitable look on his face, as though disappointed that she hadn't taken the bait. He processed her words for a few seconds, and then gave a nod. "I recall you saying you believe we're almost ready to breach. What's your almost?"

Finally, a legitimate question.

Maven set her coffee down. "We don't know anything about this target. We don't even know what's coming out of the pipes we're supposed to be climbing through. We don't know if we can get through the pipes or even how far we can get. If we get ourselves in a cornered situation, the operation is over and your discretion is lost. I think we need more surveillance."

Seo almost looked impressed. "Not to worry. We've already arranged that."

Seungmin's dedication to arriving to things on time had already run out. Maven was finished filing her report on that morning's mission when he shuffled in, fifteen minutes late.

How he managed to get away with that kind of personal scheduling as an agent of a rank as high as his astonished her.

She glanced around to catch the others' reactions and found Agent Hwang looking vaguely miffed and Lieutenant Seo looking openly annoyed.

Seungmin pointedly avoided his glare as he sat down with coffee. He leaned across the table towards Maven, his hand on the back of her chair. "What did I miss?" He whispered.

That time, she didn't move away from his invasion of her personal space. "Nothing. We waited for you."

At the level, unfeeling tone, Seungmin eased back into his own space. "Thanks."

Maven silently applauded herself.

His power over her was gone.

"Since we're all here—" Agent Hwang shot Seungmin an irritated look before turning to his computer. "What we're doing now is observing the final surveillance operation before your upcoming breach."

Confused, Maven waited for the screen to reflect what the agent was talking about.

They'd sent in another team?

Weren't Maven and Seungmin supposed to be the only recon operatives on Almost Summer?

Instead of finding another team's statistics on the screen, she saw a dark camera feed.

Neither she nor Seungmin had ever worn a camera on mission. It provided too much evidence of the movements of secret agents. Only true, impersonal surveillance was ever done by camera.

"What is this?" She questioned. The camera was showing a view of running water—the river that ran through the portal site.

"This is a drone operated by one of our technicians." Lieutenant Seo explained. "As you mentioned earlier, the objective here is to collect a sample of the river for testing, and then to enter the runoff pipes to create a visual path for your infiltration."

Seungmin shot Maven a look. "You requested this?"

"I suggested another mission, but not before this was already in motion." Maven said.

He threw out an arm and patted her shoulder. "Still, that's smart. Good call." He shot her a familiar and endearing grin.

Maven seethed under his touch.

Her emotions fluctuated between wanting to hold his hand and wanting to break it.

She let it go.

With a single breath, the emotions faded away.

His power over her was gone.

Seungmin drew his hand back, appearing surprised that she hadn't reacted.

A voice came through the conference room speakers. "Water sample collected. Moving to runoff pipes."

The drone was rushing just above the water, and then suddenly dove beneath the surface. It had to to get under the perimeter fence.

Within seconds, the drone was in the pipes, mapping their route into the building.

hehehehe ur cute. i’m so happy to hear ur day was good :)). i cry at movies too 😔. this is so embarrassing but i legit cried at the end of the sonic movie like the 2020 one … IT WAS JUST A SOFT ENDING OKAY 😔😔😔. I COULDNT HELP IT 😔😔. SAME grocery shopping is smth i always look forward to. i swear the cereal section is the best bc it’s just so bright. like everything else has such bland packaging and then the cereal section is just boom color and happy characters and cute logos like it’s just the best. THEY HAD MY FAVE PASTRYY it’s called spanakopita and it’s soooo yum. it’s a spinach and ricotta blend in this rly flakey pastry it’s so so so good. same i love them all sm. andddd let’s just say the dogs here are definitely city dogs so they’re a lot more immune ….? to odd things …? and to doing odd things ???? and their owners just aren’t even phased it’s so strange 😭

STOP FEEDING INTO MY DELUSIONS, MY LOVE.
