WELCOME TO STAY BLUEPRINTS!

A blog where STAYs can submit writing prompts, and watch as they become fully fledged stories!

WHAT READERS CAN DO

As a reader, you can submit writing prompts to this blog, which will be posted for writers to use for their next story. Stay Blueprints only accepts SFW prompts (see guidelines for more information), but when it comes to ideas, it's pretty much a free for all!

WHAT WRITERS CAN DO

Using submissions from readers, writers can "claim" a prompt for themselves to write in the future. Of course, writers can also submit prompts, which is especially helpful if you have a great idea, but don't believe you can accomplish it for various reasons. You may also join a taglist so you can be mentioned whenever a new prompt gets posted!

WHAT STAY BLUEPRINT DOES

Along with being a creative hub for STAYs, Stay Blueprints will also promote any story that stemmed from a prompt submitted! These stories will be reblogged and added to a masterlist post.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

WHAT YOU CAN SUBMIT

All forms/lengths of writing, including but not limited to: Imagines, reactions, one-shots, series, timestamps, headcanons, drabbles, scenarios, social media/fake texts, etc.

Fluff prompts

Angst prompts

Member x Reader / Y/N / You

Member x Member / OT8*

As many details as possible! Writers are more likely to take your prompt if it's not vague. (example: Don't just write "I want to go on a date with XYZ", take it a step further with "I want to go to an amusement park with XYZ")

*Platonic relationships will always be accepted, but romantic relationships may not always be accepted.

WHAT YOU CANNOT SUBMIT

Smut, NSFW topics

Any form of extreme crime (example: assault, abuse, murder, etc.)

In-Depth mentions of mental health struggles (example: EDs, suicide, etc.)

Any other abnormal stuff (example: adult-child relationship)

A COUPLE MORE QUESTIONS TO ANSWER

Do you want your entire submission to be posted, or just the gist of it?

Do you want just one writer to claim your prompt, or do you allow multiple writers to take inspiration from it? The default option is multiple writers.

Do you want to be anonymous when your submission gets posted? If you choose so, you may not know if your story has been created or not, so choose wisely.

Stay Blueprints has the right to refuse to publish a submission, regardless of whether or not the reasoning of the refusal is clearly stated in this post. If your submission gets rejected, Stay Blueprints will only explain why if you privately message this blog.
