His first wife Lady Han (Queen Sinui) gave birth to six sons: 1. Yi Bang-woo (Prince Jinan), 2. Yi Bang-gwa (Prince Youngan), 3. Yi Bang-ui (Prince Yikan), 4. Yi Bang-gan (Prince Hoean), 5. Yi Bang-won (Prince Jeongan) and 6. Yi Bang-yeon (Prince Deokan).

His second wife Lady Kang (Queen Sindeok) gave birth to two sons: 7. Yi Bang-beon (Prince Muan) and 8. Yi Bang-seok (Prince Uian),

meaning that Seong-gye had eight sons overall.

By giving no pushback to the (false) claims of illegitimacy, the show seems to implicitly support Bang-won’s narrative of her being a lying, conniving, greedy bitch who wants to push her child on the throne despite having no right to it whatsoever as a concubine and bastard respectively.

Queen Sindeok's tragedy, the one that MCTNA fails to portray, is not that she was a concubine who tried to rise above her station (because she was not); it's that, due to the transition from Goryeo to Joseon, she found herself caught between two conflicting sets of laws:

DOOM DUM DOOM: DBSD'S SEOHAN was tasked to compose, write and choreograph an anthem-sounding song that would show the future group's colors. the song titled 'DOOM DU DOOM' is the result. the group will be learning an practicing the song for the next month before they will be evaluated by a panel composed of DAEHYUN, SEOHAN and various coaches. if they should pass this evaluation, they will be filming the music video of the song some time in JUNE, with a digital release around JULY 8. all the lyrics for this trimester can be found HERE

SHOW US YOUR BEST (TRIAL MEMBERS ONLY): each members will record a solo performance* demonstrating what they are best at in terms of skills (singing, dancing, rapping and/or instuments are accepted)

SOLO PRACTICE (CORE MEMBERS ONLY): each member will be tasked to film themselves during their solo practice for about 1 hour. the skills they are practicing are up to them. this is to show the viewers and fans a window into their lives as trainees.

LANGUAGE BOOTCAMP: due to having less than 70 KOREAN LANGUAGE POINTS, KURAMOTO MISAKI and MAE JASPER have to participate in the language bootcamp, while LAI WENJUN will take part in it since he has less than 30 ENGLISH LANGUAGE POINTS. information on these bootcamps will be released later.

as written in the article, USGEN aims to be setting trends, and what better way to do so than use YOUTUBE SHORTS and TIKTOK. for fans to know them better, the members will be filming a 'SHALL WE KNOW' short (see JULIE and NATTY filming one HERE). each member will have to pick a LOCATION and OUTFIT that fits their IMAGE and PERSONALITY. if the location is outside of LEGACY, USGEN will book the location for a one hour shoot. another member will be in charge of FILMING the short and GIVING QUESTIONS. none of them will know the questions that will be asked prior to the short being filmed as the answers and actions need to be spontaneous. daehyun has only advice for the boys; go all out without shame !

today on MAY 5, the 10th and final episode of FUTURE DREAMS 6 was broadcasted. as it had already been revealed this season's aim was to find members to join SON NABI in the newest girl group of legacy entertainment, NOVA.

following various performances, including two new songs 'TICK TICK BOOM' and 'RISING', PARK JEONGAN, legacy entertainment's ceo, revealed the additional members of the group to be KIM NAYOUNG, KWON SENA, SEO MINSEO, WATANABE MIYU and YU MILAN. company's representatives have confirmed that the 6 members are currently working hard on their debut, currently slated for this year in Q3.

meanwhile, legacy hasn't left the little screen just yet, as they are currently promoting their male trainees, models and actors through LGC SPRING BOYS.

Congratulations

Never in a million years did Soyoun ever think that her sense of humor would get her anywhere in life. She always thought it is just a nice bonus to whatever personality she already has. However, being nominated for a variety award in her rookie year says otherwise. Soyoun supposes that maybe making a fool of herself and being game for anything the PDs throw at her has its merits. As long as the cast, crew, and audience are all happy with her, she’ll take whatever she can get. 

However, there are others in possible contention for the Variety Star Award, and Soyoun can’t help but convince herself to manage expectations. After all, just because she’s from Legacy doesn’t guarantee that she’ll get it. If she doesn’t get it this year, she’ll just have to work harder to do even better. 

Even then, Crystallis have won three awards so far as a group, and her group mates have also won individual awards. Soyoun can’t help but want one, too. After all, she still craves for validation. It’ll suck if she doesn’t get one, but it’s not the end of the world if that happens. 

They all worked hard, Soyoun thinks to herself as she politely claps for all the other celebrities nominated in her category. It’s easy to maintain a bright expression on her face. After all, it’s still exciting to be here. Win or lose, she  made it this far. Half of Soyoun dares to hope that maybe she might have a chance. 

And then, the presenter finally calls it. “Crystallis’ Astrid!” Despite all the applause around them, Soyoun smiles and blinks as she takes it all in. She just won her first individual award as a debuted idol. Her brand of messing around has some merit after all... It takes one of the other members prodding her to get a move on toward the stage. She makes a mental note to thank them for it later. It is only at that moment when she realizes that “Holy shit. This is for real.” She snaps out of her stupor as she walks on stage with a bright smile, making sure to bow to the seniors and other artists she passes along the way.

She hadn’t cried when Crystallis won any of the awards, preferring to be the smiling face in the team. She hadn’t cried when she got the award as LGC Girls more than two years ago. Now, all she feels is a big smile on her face as she walks up the stage. It’s this big bubble of happiness that’s probably visible in her eyes as she bows to and shakes hands with everyone she meets along the way.  She supposes she’ll cry when she gets home to talk to her family tomorrow morning, but that can wait. 

As she accepts the award and thanks the presenters, Soyoun then steps up to the podium where she’s supposed to give a short speech. 

“It’s an honor to receive this award. Thank you to CEO Park Jeongan, teachers Kim Hyuncheol, Lee Iseul, Roe Kangdae, for taking a chance on a girl with big dreams but had no idea how to achieve them. I hope to do better and make you proud. To our other teachers and coaches, thank you for not giving up on me despite all my shortcomings. To all the stylists, hairstylists, road managers, and the rest of the staff who made this possible.” 

She thanks her past self for actually coming up with a speech. Otherwise, she would have been stuttering on TV a lot. “To the PDs, thank you for giving me a chance to be part of your variety shows. It is an honor and pleasure to work with you all. I hope this isn’t the end of our working relationship and more shows are in store, yes?” She playfully winks at the cameras. 

“To my seniors and fellow guests, thank you for making me more comfortable to be myself and have fun,” she continues. “I wouldn’t have enjoyed myself without your guidance.” 

She takes a deep breath. “To the Crystallis members, thank you for being so understanding when I had to leave for my filming schedules. I hope I made you proud to have me as part of the team.”   

“To my parents, maybe you guys were onto something when you said I made people laugh. Well, look where all those years of making fun of me have brought us.” Soyoun lifts her trophy for emphasis. She lets out a breath, “To Junhwan and Max, I hope to my antics on TV made you proud to have me as an older sister. Finally, to the fans, thank you for your constant support and unconditional love! I hope to be an Astrid you are all proud of. I love you. Skrrrt skrrrt!”
