Reason why that's unhinged:

Literally a woman who went through abuse and rape and apologized for any wrongdoing. I have issues with how she's portrayed, the way that she is used shows the conservative bias of the film, but the way she has been made out to be a villain by incels is so bizarre.

Hi. I was looking up Jenny Curran from Forrest Gump in the search. I find it difficult dealing with abused child characters in film.

Hello.

Understandable. I usually avoid anything with explicit rape and domestic violence scenes because I can't deal. With Jenny we don't see the violence, just the emotional wreckage that is the result of it and that in and of itself is pretty difficult. Although I feel bad that, because we don't understand what's the background of her erratic behavior straight away, people don't really connect with her, and some villify her.
