I’ve been really brain rotting over C!Purpled recently but the question really is. What if he never joined Las Nevadas and remained to stay in the Eggpire? MercenaryDuo would’ve been real and the Eggpire would’ve had themselves a bodyguard to protect them.

He would just groan, and nuzzle his face into your neck.

•george is an awkward person and doesnt know how to show love very well

•however, he likes to buy you small things like flowers or chocolates on occasion.

“hey dickhead, why don’t you find someone else’s girlfriend to hit on?”

•if it gets to the point where the guy who was flirting with you just wont back off or is being snarky to sap, it might get physical.

•then asks you a lot of questions,

“are you okay? What was he saying to you? Did he touch you at all?”

“sap… im fine! Calm down, love.”

•chaotic troublemaker

•if its a snowy day, he will sneak up behind you and probably stuff snow down your shirt

•snowball fights (he would go easy on you and let you win)

•literally so thoughtful, hes always asking you if you need or want anything when hes going out to the store

•even if you say no hes gonna come back with your favorite candy or flowers

•lots of cuddles and movie nights

•competitive bf, and DEFINITELY will destroy you in Valorant (goes easy on you for your first few games)

•the silent rager

•if you actually keep beating him he will get a bit frustrated and just sit there with a straight face in silence (when really hes yelling in his head)

•admires you a lot. Like, a lot a lot. <3

One more dsmp Emotion that I've remembered today: The old concept of Puffy and Schlatt being siblings and forgive me for kind of. Brain-word-dumping in your ask box I'm going down my rabbit hole of dsmp emotions once again and when that happens This happens.

Schlatt being Puffy's idiot little brother that she heard was sowing some shit and came to L'/Manburg to knock some sense into in the way only a sibling can. And she shows up after the war and hops off her ship and walks up to the town and goes jeez. Did my brother do that.

And then she walks by the people who are recovering from whatever battle just happened and she's looking around and he's not there. And he's not there. And he's not there.

And like. She was kind of looking forward to seeing him again!! They left off on bad terms last time they saw each other. They were so close as kids, and then he started neglecting his health and she started berating him for it and they got into this huge argument. And maybe she just wants to pick him up so she can rekindle their relationship. She misses him. He's her little brother.

But he's not there. And he VERY MUCH SHOULD BE, considering how public the L'/Manburg elections were and how publicly he won them. That's the whole reason she showed up.

So she checks in with someone. Hey, she's here to pick up her dipshit brother Jschlatt, did he make this crater? She's so sorry about the mess he caused and she'll be taking him out of your hair for a bit. And they go wait. Go back. Your brother Jschlatt?

And she goes yeah of course do you have any other sheep in the area? In that light jovial tone that she has. Something awful happened here. She's trying to lighten the mood. She can't. She can't, because the next thing that the other person says is--

He's dead. He died earlier today.

And all Puffy can say is. Fuck. She was just a little bit too late. She was just a few hours late to talk to her little brother again for the first time in what I imagine to be years. She was too late, and now he'll never be here again.

[She avoids Glatt, on the rare occurrences when he's around. He doesn't remember her. It hurts that her brother's face can't recognize her.]

I suddenly feel really nostalgic for 2021 and my early days in the dsmp fandom.

Pink hair and listening to music on the way to ballet lessons and watching streams live while my online history class was muted in the background and reading sbi fics for the first time and crying about them and listening to ycgma for the first time and knowing it would hugely impact me and starting to really explore how I could present and express myself and getting way back into Minecraft after years of forgetting how much I loved the game and my family just starting to be less careful about quarantine and all that it entailed and jeez I really miss it.

I miss quarantine times in general but there's something about this period of time that was just really comforting. The tail end of middle school and the summer afterwards. The more that I think about it it makes sense lol. Highschool was a big change and I've changed a lot since then and been pushed out of my comfort zone a lot. Got a new diagnosis. Lost someone important to me both in an online community sense and in my personal life.

Ok yeah it makes sense.

Maybe I shouldn't impulsively listen to ycgma at midnight while feeling sleepy and thoughtful.

Nemesis sat in her chair, playing with her nails as she waited for the other members to show up. The scenery of the room made her shiver, the room was much more intimidating when she was alone. The lava crackled around her, the sound calming yet so terrifying in a way that she couldn't quite describe. She heard footsteps from the hallway, thinking it was just Phil, she shrugged and fixed her posture but nobody came. She felt a hand on her shoulder and she jumped in surprise, she snapped her head back and saw a ghostly figure standing there, their face was expressionless as Niki noticed them. The ghost held back laughter as the girl fell from her chair.

"Y/N, what the hell!?" Niki screamed, slamming her hands hard on the ground, Y/N floated above her and laughed, holding out her hand. She went to reach for it but then pulled back, Y/N gave her a smirk and shifted into their normal, alive, human self. "Jeez, babe, you can't, you can't scare me like that." She muttered, reaching for Y/N's hand, pulling herself up. Y/N let out a little giggle and kissed her forehead.

"I just missed you," they said, wrapping their arms around her, "and plus, you didn't think that was impressive, Nemesis?" Niki let out a sigh and put her hands on their waist, enjoying the embrace. Niki pulled away from the shifter, going back to sit on her chair, they pouted but stayed next to her, floating in the air as a ghost.

Technoblade walked in the room with Philza coming in right after, Y/N shrieked and turned into a baby cat, jumping on their girlfriend’s lap. Niki was surprised but began to pet the small cat in her lap. Phil sat in his seat, extending his wings comfortably behind him as Techno stood, leaning forward on the table. Cat Y/N began to purr as Niki ran her hand across their small cat body. The purring caught the attention of Technoblade but he shrugged it off, he cleared his throat, making the two stare at him.

"Well, um, I don’t know, I had a whole thing but I completely forgot." Niki let out a small chuckle as Phil shook his head, a smile on his face. "But, I was thinking we do some digging on Las Nevadas, now that Dream is out, Quackity is going to be spending all of his time looking for," Niki drowned out Techno’s voice as the small kitty purred, pawing at the bottom of Niki’s shirt. She smiled down at her partner's cat form as they yawned, carefully they jumped off her lap, making their way to Phil’s leg, Niki knew they would be fine and went back to listening to Techno.

Y/N rubbed up against Phil, getting comfortable near his feet before rolling themselves up in a little ball next to him. Phil looked down and smiled at the little cat by his feet. Phil has seen Niki with this cat many times so he was very comfortable with them.

Techno cleared his throat again, realising that nobody was listening to him. "Hello, people, I'm trying to plan something here." He said, waving his arms in the air. Phil looked up from the ground, smiling at his friend. He sighed and walked over besides Phil, picking up the little kitty. Y/N felt themselves being lifted off the ground and began to freak out. The cat's eyes widened before biting the hand of Technoblade, drawing blood.

Techno winced and dropped the cat down on the table. The cat hissed before jumping on to Nikis lap. Niki looked amused and Phil laughed at the event. Techno growled but let out a small chuckle, looking down at the small cat. "What's its name?" He asked, Niki shrugged and placed a hand on the cat's back. "Hm, odd, is this not your cat?" Niki shook her head, Techno smirked and went back to his seat. "Anyways, back to the plan, Las Nevadas,"

Y/N snuck up behind their girlfriend, wanting to give her a little scare, she sat on a chequered, red and white picnic blanket, waiting for her love to arrive at the arranged meet place. Y/N shifted into a ghost form of themselves, floating towards the girl.

They put their hand on top of Niki's hair, they saw the girl jump but then slowly relax into their touch, Y/N shifted back and sat down next to her. She smiled at the shifter and peaked at their lips, making Y/N blush a light red colour. Niki laughed at this reaction, she barely got to see Y/N flustered and blushing. You, you're the worst, Y/N muttered under their breath making their lover laugh more.

"Oh, I'm the worst?" She said, eyebrows raised, Y/N was ready to take it back when Niki pressed another kiss on their lips. Y/N stiffened at the sudden feeling but leaned into the kiss. Niki pulled back with a smile. "I'd hate to disagree with you, love, but I don't think you even believe yourself." Y/N scoffed and shifted into a tiny version of Niki, they stuck their tongue out at her and Niki laughed before Y/N shifted back. Niki brought out a cake and handed it to them. It was a small vanilla cake with warm white frosting flowers on top of it. Y/N smiled happily, placing it on the ground next to them. "You still think I'm the worst?"

"Well, I guess at times you aren't always the worst." They giggled, looking into the woods behind them. Niki let out a small sigh before wrapping her arms around the shifter. Y/N laid a hand on Niki's head and began to braid some loose strands of hair. This was their time, they didn't have many times like this, they couldn't just enjoy each other's presence without something getting in the way.

Niki was back sitting in the Syndicate room, the secret fifth member had finally decided to make an appearance. She had told Y/n to not come to this meeting as Techno had recently told her that the fifth member liked keeping themselves. Philza walked into the Syndicate room with Technoblade trailing behind him, ranting on about how he should have just killed Sam instead of letting off scot free. They sat down at their chair and Phil did a very dramatic cough making Techno stop. A cold breeze came over the three and a shadow appeared on the wall. It was a large shadow, large enough that one could mistake it as a werewolf in a story book. The shadow soon disappeared and a person appeared on the empty chair. Niki spunited her eyes, seeing their partner on the chair across from her.

“Y/N?!” Niki said abruptly, Techno and Phil turned to look at Niki but Y/N was smiling devilishly, like they had wanted this reaction out of her. Technoblade held back laughter as Phil leaned on Techno, trying to conceal his own laughter. Y/N became invisible and walked up behind the poor girl, scarring her when they reappeared.

“Hi baby!” They giggled making Phil finally let out his loud laughter, Techno’s followed soon after. Niki scoffed and turned away from them. “Okay, Nemesis, is that what you'd prefer?” They asked jokingly, Y/N wrapped their arms around their girlfriend who sighed in frustration but relaxed in their arms.

"Techno, what the fuck!" Phil said between laughs, Techno did not respond, running out of breath from laughter. Niki cleared her throat, making the boy's laughter die down a bit. Niki reached to hold Y/N's hand that rested on her shoulder. "Okay, okay, I'm calm, I'm calm." Phil said, trying to catch his breath, he nudged at Techno's arm, making him stop his ridiculous laughter.

"Okay, I see why Harpocrates knew my plan against Las Nevadas, and like every plan I've ever made." Y/N giggled, turning into a small baby cat, jumping on to the Syndicate table.

"Well of course I knew, why, do you think they went as planned, I mean, you didn't think that I would be there in the darkness, did you?" They asked, walking up to Technoblade and shifting back to their human form. "Hi." Techno tried to take a swipe at Y/N but they shifted back into a cat, jumping into Niki's lap. Y/N quickly shifted back into their human form, Techno rolled his eyes and began to speak.

“Do you think the plan will work?” He asked, looking at Y/N, Phil looked over at the shifter, they were in deep thought before shaking their head.

“No, no, it won’t work, just not the way you planned but do not worry, like always I will be there to help." They said with a smirk, looking back at their girlfriend who had their face buried in their back.

"Techno I think we should leave," Phil suggested but Techno shook his head, wanting to see what was going to happen, he hated the idea of relationships inside the Syndicate but if they had been hiding that they were a Syndicate member from another Syndicate member then surely they could be trusted. "Okay mate, get your ass up, we're going." Phil said, grabbing at the man and dragging him out of the room.

Niki lifted her head to see that Y/N hand changed position so they were facing her. "What's the matter with you Pinky?" They asked, playing with Niki's hair, she always hated the nickname but it always got her to talk. She groaned and grabbed onto Y/N’s hand.

“It’s nothing baby, it’s just, I wish you told me sooner.” Y/N giggled and squeezed Niki’s hand back. “Is that why you didn’t want anybody to know about us?” She asked with a pout, Y/N just shook their head. “If you would have told me, I would’ve proposed to you sooner.” Y/n giggled and kissed Niki’s lips but pushed her away when they realised what she had just said.

“What?” Niki smiled and pulled out an emerald ring. “Niki…” they trailed off, tears being to well in their eyes. “Niki, you want to,” they were lost for all words, this made Niki smirk. “You would marry me, honestly?” They said, voice cracking, Niki nodded, covering the ring within Y/N’s hand. Y/N chuckled and looked at the ring, engraved on the sides were Niki’s initials and their initials, a tear fell from their eyes. Y/N nuzzled their head into Niki's neck, muffling their cries as Niki gently took the ring from Y/N's hand and put it on their ring finger.

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

Today (Doomsday) was extremely anticlimactic and I ramble semi-sloppily about it under the cut- enjoy some unfiltered creative writing lover’s issues.

(There is a TL;DR at the end)

Dear lord, where to even begin. Today was a mess, and not in the nicely crafted “everyone’s supposed to be shocked and confused” way, but in the “yikes... was this planned out well at all” way.

The first, beyond giant offender, is the action of the ‘villains’ arriving early. There were so many missed opportunities with them not arriving early, and it did a huge punch in the gut to the suspense. First and foremost, so many characters of l’manburg were not given the chance to wrap up the loose ends they currently had, at no point where they all able to communicate what was happening to each other. I want you to imagine quickly the kind of content that could’ve been gotten from a ‘the rest of L’manburg finds out Niki and Fundy have decided to turn against their own country’ interaction. Or even from a ‘Quackity almost ran away, but was able to sort himself out and do the right thing’ conversation. And most importantly; a reveal of what the hell Dream did to Tommy in exile kind of conversation. Something that this event needed a lot that it didn’t get was a heartfelt rallying and sharing of feelings before the big war. Tensions that have been running high through this entire arc disappeared in moments because there was no chance to address or bring them to light. Hell, Tommy and Tubbo’s conversation was extremely short lived, and they should’ve had a deeper discussion than they did. I’d honestly argue that Tommy’s conversation with Sapnap was more effective.

The second issue was, of course, that arriving early didn’t allow the suspense to build. Even as someone who was watching Technoblade’s stream when Dream appeared to tell them that they’d be leaving early, any notion of suspense I had once felt immediately dissipated, I knew they’d be caught off guard and I knew that it would be a loosing battle. And if you didn’t watch technoblade’s stream, I’m sure you were quite caught off gaurd and confused, even Tommy himself seemed to be quiet confused as to why they were already there. No one was ready to face the enemy, and you know that as soon as Tommy smacks the ground and dies for the first time that it’s a losing battle. I want you to now imagine the tension, the suspense that could’ve been built as team L’Manburg sets aside their differences to gear up together, to stand their ground together and wait, heads held high as they look for Technoblade and Dream to appear on the horizon, ready to fight with all they have, win or lose. Now of course, we unfortunately didn’t get that, we got a whole bunch of confused yelling and the beginning of an extremely anti climactic, losing battle. (Although... if you’re team technoblade like me I guess it was a winning battle?)

Well jeeze, I’ve already written two big paragraphs, what else could I have an issue with? For one, there was nothing really on the line this battle. The entire time I found myself basically begging for someone to lose a canon life (or die, in the case of our one life left friends) to add some sort of real big danger or give a “holy shit...” moment. Of course, this didn’t happen. Everyone got picked off like flies but none of them really mattered. If I had to give an example of a good choice of canon death, I would point out the moment where Tubbo seemed to jump infront of the rocket Technoblade had launched at Tommy while they were arguing over the crater. Not to throw you into another scenario or anything, but think about the reaction Tommy could’ve had to Tubbo sacrificing his life for him, after all that time in exile thinking Tubbo didn’t care. Realizing that his best friend did care, and that the villain infront of him just took away his best friend forever. A little gloomy, sure, but this is war. And quite frankly it would’ve been a little more interesting for the President of the worlds largest crater to die than to just be left alive with... well the worlds largest crater. There are plenty of other points where a canon life could’ve been taken that would’ve worked well, that’s just the one that sticks out to me the most.

Another thing of note is that there really apparently needs to be some “okay, your turn to talk” ques. Because my god, I don’t think I’d ever been more frustrated than when Tommy and Technoblade just kept. Shouting. Over. Each other. In the crater. They both have some fantastic things to say, but between the constant exploding TNT, the other people talking, and them shouting over each other, it was extremely hard to really enjoy the scene and digest what it was and what it meant.

In the overall scheme of things, I had really hoped this would be a tv show sort of finale for them, just to give a break, maybe even get some filler in there if they wanted to. But it does seem that they’ll be jumping right back into it, which, I’m not entirely a big fan of. This entire arc has been tiring and extremely rushed at some points. It’s been a near constant barrage of lore from all sides, and when they finally get to a plot point that could leave some room for filler or for a little breather, they seem to speed right over it. There should’ve been more time with Tommy hiding under Technoblade’s house, is the big one that comes forward to me. There should’ve been more time with introducing the butcher army. There should’ve been more time for Tommy and Technoblade to bond (so that their separation and later argument could be more of a punch in the gut than a sigh of disappointment) And most of all, someone should’ve been put in the prison. I felt at the beginning that someone would for sure get put in the prison today. During the stream, I hoped for someone to get put in the prison. At the end of the stream, I found myself wishing the damn thing would stop teasing me. It has been in the back of everyone’s minds for so long and it made so much sense that someone would’ve gotten put in it today. Unfortunately not the case.

There are many other things that I could say about the rest of this arc, but I’ll leave it at that since I did say I would be talking about Doomsday. I genuinely hope I don’t sound like I hated this entire arc- I didn’t! I just think there are quite a few things that could’ve been handled and written better. Well, no changing the past.

TL;DR: Techno, Philza, and Dream shouldn’t have arrived early. This led to a loss of important character moments and suspense. There was nothing on the line in this battle due to the loss of no lives from anyone and the boys need to learn to stop talking over each other. The entire arc was rushed and a little tiring. End cap: please don’t hate me I love the DSMP I just think it could be better.
