Movie #48 of 2024: Killer Heat

If they just pitch shifted JGL's voice over a bit faster it would've been tolerable. Not good. But better.

The best scene is when JGL and the local cop are bantering about The Gambia. I thought it was the beginning of a buddy cop franchise and then, spoilers!!! they kill off the cop. And JGL doesn't even try to call an ambulance or anything. What the literal f. Ok it's alright, but if it came to light that a lethargic, lithium addicted cocaine dealer wrote this in a shower binge, then I wouldn't be surprised.

love love love how that ending set up the title scene moving forward. the battle for aew's soul was lost, now three of the most opportunistic bastards in the company who all hate each other are closing in while darby acts as a one man wrecking crew to counteract the death riders' chaos
