Context: Yang and Jaune are chilling in the commons room.

Jaune: "I wonder if anybody here would even date me."

Yang: "I'mma be real, VB. You have a vibe that makes it feel wrong to do anything other than marry you."

Jaune: "…Wait, what?"

Yang: "I'm not saying this as an insult, though. It's just…you give off 'saving himself for his one true love' type of deal."

Jaune, now very confused: "I don't know what to make of that."

Yang: "You're a Sheppardist, right?"

The Rusted Knight is a combination of the White Knight and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. Emerald's inspiration is Aladdin, a famous thief. I knew wanted to keep the fairy tale theming without just making her Aladdin, so I went with Jack the Giant Slayer from Jack and the Beanstalk.

Emerald has established herself in the Ever After as a protector and righter of wrongs, stealing and redistributing to those who need it with the help of her golden goose

Do you ever think about how Jaune begged Pyrrha to not fight Cinder because she was no match for her, and how he didn't want her to sacrifice herself for everyone else. But then when he meets Cinder, his grief immediately drives him to do the same exact thing that Pyrrha did, and he's completely accepting of the fact that he will die if it helps the others

Arkos should've started dating in volume 2 or if they had an additional volume in that one. The dance should've been the catalyst, cut down the Weiss plotline and have volume 2 Jaune already growing feelings for Pyrrha from the beginning without realizing he was.

Imagine Pyrrha talking to her mom about Jaune constantly and him even getting the chance to speak with her digitally or sending a letter their way. Her knowing him and being really excited for Pyrrha focusing on something other than improving constantly.

When pyrrha dies and Jaune Augments her armor with his it's not just that he decided it, it was something her mom wanted. He wanted to bring it back to her but she refused. Because the armor should continue to do what it always did, protected what was precious.

It's just now dawning on me how unnecessary the "Jaune Arc" was. You really expect me to believe Pyrrha "star prodigy whose entire existence revolves around Jaune" Nikos, Nora "orphaned and doing whatever it took to survive from childhood" Valkyrie, and Yang "aggressive and overprotective" Xiao-Long would sit idly aside to let someone harass and assault one of their friends? Each of them would've cornered Cardin in a hallway to threaten to send him home in tupperware if he continued his bullshit and thems the facts

sorry still mentally arguing with that random agitator... if you want to "disprove" Cinder's redemption (somebody who wanted it but was also mad that it definitely wasn't happening, and was mad at me about it, or something; kind of gibberish), then you also need to appreciate Ozlem and Jaune/Cinder, which this person wasn't doing, just going on and on about not being allowed to feel empathy for Cinder.

Which like, you know, I think in terms of absolute heretical things Jaune could do, that certainly works as one, if we are barred from such a thing, which I don't believe we are.

Ruby and Jaune are both profoundly broken people who feel they are at the worst part of their whole lives. Ruby has been slowly falling apart and feels that none of the people closest too her even care, they just keep piling more weight on her shoulders and expecting her to move on as normal. Jaune has just spent countless years stranded in a strange world after having to kill his own friend, then gets betrayed by Alyx, then just watched the village he tried to protect be wiped out in front of him.

Both of them had every right to lash out at that moment, but they also both went too far. Jaune realizes once Weiss snaps him out of it and he apologizes, he knows that he's not okay, who would be after any of what they've all gone through. And even though Ruby didn't apologize, I'm sure that they all know that she didn't mean 100% of what she said, especially Yang. It's just unfortunate that when you care about people that deeply, you know what will hurt them the most.

We're still not even completely sure if RBY know that Jaune had to kill Penny, all Weiss said was that he tried to help and Penny had sacrificed herself. None of them have even questioned why Jaunes sword is broken. But besides that, I have a bad feeling that Ruby may be meeting Neo next week.

Everyone making all these theories that Jaune chose to ascend, forgetting that were told ascended people have NO memories of their past lives, meaning Jaune would not have remembered team RWBY or named juniper after his old team JNPR

Truly there is nothing worse than being so pissed, and someone offering an empty platitude because they couldn’t put themselves in your shoes for two god damn seconds.

Yes, this is about Blake. Blake didn’t have to witness first hand the death of Phyrra, Penny (the second time), let alone being a team leader who is significantly younger than everyone else simply because she was born with powers she never asked for.

No one looked after Ruby because it became expected of her to lead. Everyone became so wrapped up in their own wants and needs that their selfishness hurt the person that literally brought them all together in the first place. As someone who has had this happen to them more times than I can count on both hands, as someone who looked after everyone and hardly a single person realized how bad I was, fuck that. Let Ruby be angry that no one stood around long enough to focus on how she was holding up. No one doubled back if their attention was taken away to look after her. God I don’t even watch the series but to see that clip of her lashing out was so god damn cathartic it made my heart sing.

What if Jaune's purpose of being thrown back in time was to be the Rusted Knight that helped Alyx when she landed in Ever After, and so by doing that, he knows BY EXPERIENCE what would be the best thing to do for team rwby

This also means that he may see qualities in the team, or just Ruby, that Alyx had when she arrived. And because of that, he could help them through what their struggling with or point them in the right direction?
