Epix ha presentato il primo teaser trailer della sua prossima serie originale Chapelwaite. Protagonista è Adrien Brody premio Oscar per Il pianista di Roman Polanski.

La serie è basata sul racconto di Stephen King Jerusalem’s Lot e vede anche la partecipazione di Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek).

Chapelwaite è ambientata nel 1850. La storia segue il capitano Charles Boone (Brody) che si trasferisce insieme alla sua famiglia con tre figli nella sua casa ancestrale nella piccola e apparentemente assopita città degli Angeli di Preacher, nel Maine dopo la morte della moglie in mare. Tuttavia, Charles dovrà presto confrontarsi con i segreti della sordida storia della sua famiglia e lottare per porre fine all’oscurità che ha tormentato i Boones per generazioni. L’Hampshire interpreterà Rebecca Morgan, una giovane donna ambiziosa che ha lasciato Preacher’s Corners per frequentare il Mount Holyoke College. La donna è tornata a casa in anticipo per scrivere una storia per il nuovo e prestigioso  Atlantic Magazine . Il blocco dello scrittore le  si solleva quando Boone arriva in città con i suoi figli e, nonostante le proteste di sua madre, Rebecca chiede di essere la governante del famigerato maniero di Chapelwaite e della famiglia Boone per scrivere di loro. In tal modo, Rebecca non solo realizzerà il prossimo grande romanzo gotico, ma svelerà un mistero che ha afflitto la sua stessa famiglia per anni.

“17 Again“, romantische und humorvolle Body-Switch-Komödie mit viel Charme. INHALT: Mike O’Donnell (Matthew Perry) ist der ganz normale Durchschnittstyp. Verheiratet, hat zwei Kinder und ist schon seit Jahren in derselben Firma tätig. Als dann eine Beförderung ansteht ist er ganz aufgeregt, da er sich immerhin schon 10 Jahre lang für die Firma eingesetzt hatte. Nun steht ihm die große Chance…

To no one’s surprise the best of 4 stories was written by Mark Russell. Not that it matters, I only got this for the Plastic Man variant.

Visto il primo episodio di Chapelwaite con Adrien Brody. Per ora mi ispira. Ha molto della classica storia horror, ma pare che abbia il potenziale per essere qualcosa di carino.

E sì, come mi aspettavo sta arrivando la pulsione sessuale per Brody, specie dopo la scena della vasca da bagno. Un attore che ho sempre adorato per le sua capacità attoriali, ma che non mi sono mai cagata dal punto di vista fisico. Basta che qualcuno sia ripreso da una macchina da presa per un certo tempo, e sentirei attrazione pure per Danny de Vito.
