Hello, I just bindged watched all of The Purge movies so here's what I think certain Marauders characters would be doing during the Purge

(for anyone who doesn't know the purge is when anything is legal for 24 hours)

Remus Lupin wouldn't want to be outside for the purge but would go out to rob a bank or some shit. do some really small crime so he can get a bit of money for his sick mother

Barty Crouch Jr is fucking insane. He's fully out there in masks and covered in blood and is torturing people for his own entertainment. Yknow during the movies when you get little glimpse of people being strung to a car or being set on fire or some shit? yeah that's where Barty is and he's having the time of his life

Evan Rosier is part of those really rich clubs that kidnap poor people and hunt them for sports. He's just as insane as Barty but likes it to be a lot more contained and safer for him

Charity Burbage is at a purge party that her family hosts. The idea of the purge scares her but coke half way through the night she feels safe enough to let loose and not worry so much

Lily Evans is out during the purge helping people and killing the rich people who are trying to target the poorer areas. She hates the purge

Mary MacDonald is trailing Lily in hopes of protecting her because she's worried that Lily is going to get herself killed

James Potter and Sirius Black are out during the purge just for shits and giggles. If anyone comes after them they're dead but they're not going to actively harm anyone unless they really piss them off

Regulus Black is indoors and not coming out. He supports the purge and approves of everything that's happening but he doesn't want to be in it. His house is on lockdown and he's chilling at home while listening to people scream outside of his door. He doesn't help anyone. It's not his problem

Bruce Mulciber, Edmund Avery Jr and Juliette Wilkes are all out together targeting people who they don't like and earning money by kidnapping people to be given to the rich as a sacrifice. They're also just destroying building and shit whereever they go. they're having a lot of fun

Severus Snape was invited to go out with Mulciber, Avery and Wilkes but decided to stay home to protect his mother. His father went out during the Purge and Severus has his friends to kill him for him

Marlene McKinnon and Dorcas Meadowes have a business where people give them the names and addresses of people they want to be killed (for good reason. not any petty bullshit) and they go out and either kill them or scare them enough to right their wrongs

Pandora Lovegood is at home waiting for it all to be over. She hates the purge and will never participate

Peter Pettigrew was at home but was forced outside after his block was raided. He spent the entire night outside with no protection or plan

Aurora Sinistra is with her entire family round her aunties house. They're on lockdown and are playing board games and listening to music to pass the time

This was the story of a writer Paul Sheldon, played by James Caan (RIP), who is saved after a car crash by a woman named Annie who happens to be his "number one fan" 🤭 she's very helpful in nursing him to health but eventually doesn't want him to leave. She does whatever means necessary to keep Paul from leaving (even killing the town sheriff for snooping), leaving him no choice but to find his own way out.

Can I use Nazi Germany in my fanfic?

I'm writing a horror survival fanfic about class 1978 and the majority of the characters that perished during 1st wizarding war, in-between war 1 and war 2 and 2nd wizarding war. At the moment I am taking notes of personality canon traits, physical canon traits, relationship build and such. I'm truly excited working on this fanfic.

Themes are: Horror, cult, gore, body mutilation, cannibalism, r*pe, omegaverse, polyandry, LGBTQ and war are heavy themes in my book.

When I read the HP series and watched the movies. I often thought about how misunderstood those Slytherins were of the class 1978. Most of them had parents that were DE or came from broken homes unlike many gryffindors, who were majorly aurors.

In my fanfiction I am busy dousing the bad blood between gryffindors, Slytherins and involving Ravenclaws and a Hufflepuff. These are the people:

What I have up till now:

So they all are wrapped in some minor seperated accidents and have detention together. However, it soon gets out of hand when they enter a strange house.

What I have in mind:

So, as I stated. Many Slytherins have pretty much some awful past to be that young and indoctrinated. Sirius was literally the lucky one who got away. I always felt like that if the school tried to intervene whatever was happening amongst the Slytherins, not many would be infected with purist ideals. Yet I can also understand, simply talking to kids that were raised 11 years with such ideas, is hard to communicate with in the first place.

Hence this fanfic ordeal. An entity told the children to choose between finishing paintings or killing muggles in the name of Voldemort. Slytherins jumped on the idea of Voldemort almost immediately. Theyr 16 and budding DE at this point. Many joined during or shortly after graduations after all. Gryffindors joined in on the idea of muggle killing spree to keep the Slytherins from killing muggles at all. Ravenclaws are at a loss because it was 16 vs 5 at that point so were forced to join and so did charity.

But this is my problem. I want this first trial of their to be Nazi Germany. "Killing muggles" was only part of the truth the entity revealed. Magic also doesn't work and I want to use this trial to shell shock the racism out of the Slytherins. I want wixen to know the dark and sadistic nature that humans know about each other. To not simply look down on muggle because they cannot use magic.

But I am afraid if this idea of using Nazi Germany might trigger stuff, I'm not really aware of. I myself live pretty much under a rock.

Just to clarify. The wixen aren't doing the REAL atrocity that Nazi Germany was know for. They simply spend a week or so on the front, fighting enemy. Nothing else. It's to fight THEIR racism off of muggles being useless.

So what do you people think? Can I use Nazi Germany? (If you think I can use another war, please reply)

Pandora being from a death eater family (mainly the Rosier twins. Nobody hates Pandora Rosier more then me)

Anything that includes Regulus and Evan being forced into the death eaters, or joining to protect their siblings, or secretly being spy's for the Order or trying to get into the Order

Also speaking of Snape, the idea that Regulus, Barty and Evan would've hated him or taken The Marauders side over his. (Evan is canonically Snapes friend y'all)

Dumbledore being this evil manipulator who forced a bunch of children into the Order

Similarly, the idea that Dumbledore could've "saved" Regulus, Evan and Barty from the Death Eaters (as if they'd want Dumbledores help to begin with. they were exactly where they wanted to be)

Mary erasing her own memory after the war (or worse, someone else doing it)

Marlene having multiple older brothers (she is suchhhh an oldest daughter pls)

I love Dorcas' inclusion in the Slytherin Skittles but I do have differing opinions on exactly her opinion of Evan, Barty and Regulus after they joined the death eaters and how their friendship fell apart

Snape Gang Friendship

The Snape Gang is so interesting to me. It is made up of many people, all related, but as in any group of friends there are closer bonds between the various ones.

Avery and Mulciber are the most obvious, they consider themselves brothers even if not by blood. They grew up together.

Rosier and Wilkes have been friends since their early days at school. They had very similar humor. When the war began Evan was the more convinced of the two and Wilkes followed him. No one will convince me otherwise, Rosier tried to avenge Wilkes' death by attacking Alastor.

"...Wilkes - killed by Aurors a year before Voldemort's downfall..." "Rosier is dead. He was caught shortly after you were too. He preferred to fight rather than come quietly and was killed in the struggle."

Severus and Caradoc had a strong bond. Caradoc immediately defended Snape, or at least tried to by opposing James and Sirius. After "The Worst Memory" Caradoc convinced the Snape Gang to begin actively opposing the Marauders. This bonded them even more.

Aurora and Charity were the only ones who belonged to other houses. Charity was very introverted and was teased by many classmates, Aurora approached her in class and introduced her to the boys in the gang. Even though she was Muggleborn, none of them ever insulted her. The two of them became best friends and maintained this relationship even when they became teachers at Hogwarts.
